Ghost Hunter
Flying through Kuro Kingdom's orbiting space stations wasn't difficult. There were no Godly cultivators around this place. What's more, Heian Ciemnosc's battle prowess became something which not even he expected, and was stupidly mighty. Currently, though, Heian Ciemnosc simply flew towards the Kingdom with a clear conscience.
The movement around him in space was a lot. Although they couldn’t sense or see Heian Ciemnosc, his Spirit Sense range had increased to an entire Existence. Nothing at all could hide from him. It looked like there was a special occasion, and many rich, lavish fellows flew to the Kingdom after being strictly revised by the orbiting space stations.
Moving through these space stations, Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes often landed on the Kingdom itself. It was truly beautiful, and while it might not seem like it, this was a ‘young’ Kingdom. It would be even younger if it were still a Minor Kingdom, but many Eras have passed since then. Heian Ciemnosc calmly neared the Kingdom’s surface and soon entered its aerial territory.
Without further ado, Heian Ciemnosc descended on an attractive place, with many people waiting and congregating several hundred kilometers away, with some Snow Foxes explaining and leading the way.
It wasn’t just a young Kingdom yet already an Upper Kingdom, the Universe they were in wasn’t far from being classified as a Star Universe instead of Starlight. What’s more, this Kingdom was resourceful, confirming its boundless future. Its main attraction seemed to be what everyone came here to witness and were interested about.
Rosy trees formed an endless forest of millions of square kilometers. A smallish part peeked out from this forest, which was where everyone currently was. Heian Ciemnosc seemed to land in a zone where the others haven’t had the time or permission to enter. He was surrounded by those rosy trees, which had a strange yet enigmatic leaves hanging from their branches.
They looked like ordinary bubbles, rosy, of course. However, their volume was the thinnest any bubble could possibly have. Regardless, their skin was actually metallic, and looking at them gave Heian Ciemnosc the impression they wouldn’t be easy to break, not even by a Godly cultivator. He fell pensive as he contemplated the beauty of the thousands and thousands of trees like these.
They were of a more or less ordinary size, with a thickness of about a child’s body, and a large patch of leaves with only a few branches above its trunk. They looked simple, and their leaves beautiful and striking, but there was a reason nobody, not even the Snow Foxes, touched the leaves without an Artifact and utmost caution.
“These are called the Cherry Spirit Floa,” an utmost melodic, beautiful, tantalizing yet decent and proper voice sounded from Heian Ciemnosc’s left. He looked at his left, only to see a woman with splendid features. Beautiful, Kingdom-toppling, to die for; everything one could imagine. She was a ripe specimen, at the peak of her beauty, but not of her temperament and aura. After silently praising her, the woman seemed to smile as she turned from facing the same direction.
“My teacher once said no one in the world could touch these, much less utilize them to create things better than retaining one’s beauty, a friendly aphrodisiac between loving, willing parties, and ornamental pieces in tools. If they touch it, they will be corroded by it, drowned in its magnificence. Even then, it can barely be of use. Not even poisons, or a terrifying weapon.”
The woman looked at Heian Ciemnosc and added, “Not even the Great Sage.”
“…” Heian Ciemnosc looked at the impossible beauty. She had silvery-white foxy ears, a delicate but long tail, and her creamy white skin was negligibly silvery. Her eyes weren’t big, but they were immensely enrapturing and silver.
“Senior Xue Moli, these are for you.” After staring at each other for what seemed a long period of time, but was just 3 seconds, Heian Ciemnosc suddenly moved his right hand to his Covert Space bags. He sent out thousands and thousands of cage-like gadgets with his dark energy around them. In fact, they were comprised by it.
“Ah…” Xue Moli looked at this and was surprised, a rare expression for someone like her. She watched those things, as big as a Human’s head size, turn into 3 meters tall and 10 square meters dark cages before they opened and revealed Snow Foxes inside. Immediately, they called out to her, but Xue Moli shushed them with a gesture. They fell silent, tranquil.
With a wave of her right sleeve, wearing a female, traditional light cyan robe with wide sleeves, Xue Moli picked the people within the dark cages up. They flew to her left bosom’s upper section, before becoming sucked in as if they entered another world.
‘That’s her Space, hmm.’ Heian Ciemnosc looked at this without any surprises or reaction, gaining a little smile from Xue Moli as he picked his Artifacts up and placed them back into his Covert Space bags. He looked at her and saw the glint in her eyes, but didn’t say anything.
“I can’t even read your cultivation base, mister black monster.” Next, Xue Moli smiled big time. She walked to him until they were a few steps from each other and looked in the direction of the forest. Heian Ciemnosc returned the gesture slightly afterwards and gazed at the beautiful rosy trees. Then, Xue Moli lightly said, “It must be something never seen before, like a Divine Art.”
“… I accept your apology, although I wonder if it was even necessary.” Xue Moli continued to speak, and Heian Ciemnosc continued to listen. He abruptly placed his hands behind his back, but like before, none of his actions made Xue Moli alerted or even just fluctuate within her body.
The pause after the mention of a Divine Art made the atmosphere tense for a few moments, but these were followed by her melodic voice, “One of the funniest things about the Entente is that nobody can do anything to you unless they’re someone high in the Godhood Step.”
“Wouldn’t it be better and natural if such preemptive rules were gone?” Heian Ciemnosc suddenly commented. Xue Moli’s eyes narrowed as she inadvertently went into contemplation. This revealed a black shade on her eyelashes, attractive, seductive, yet cute.
“Hahaha,” Xue Moli’s chuckles were like a bell’s ringing as she woke up from her stupor. She jokingly placed her right palm on his left shoulder, but she was astounded by what she felt, sightly shrinking her silvery white pupils. Either way, she recuperated quickly and contentedly smiled with narrowed eyes as she expressed in a lighthearted tone. “It’s been a long time since I was born, and a few more long times since I took my teacher’s spot. But I think this is the first time I thought of things like that.”
“Yeah,” she looked at the sky like a young girl dreaming big, past the heavens. “Why doesn’t it just go away? But also, mister black monster. This is the first time I hear someone call these world’s laws as rules. They’re usually the world itself or nature, not just ‘rules’. You know? Although, I have to admit. Without them, how many times would we have faced destruction? The last Changes with Racial Wars have long ended, but we still nearly annihilate the world every now and then. If it wasn’t for a tiny piece of mind we receive at the best or worse time, it truly might’ve been impossible to go back.”
“Indeed. Those are like rules are for babies, so they don’t eat a pill that’ll blow them up immediately. Or an instinct for Fauna so they can care of their family and not become as animalistic as ordinary fauna in the wild. They have their use to avoid disasters that shouldn’t have occurred.” Heian Ciemnosc extensively commented. Then, he added in a softer tone.
“But this world has always lacked something that many tales and legends don’t. Cycle. Furthermore, hasn’t the world not produced a single new tale or legend in… how many Changes?”
“…” Xue Moli fell silent. She didn’t know why, but she felt as if she was berated. Although it was for a split second, she felt ashamed when hearing his words. But then, she blinked her eyes and changed her attitude. She sneaked a few glances at Heian Ciemnosc before saying in an indifferent tone, “Thank you for keeping Little Yoler safe. I can only thank my instincts for sending Little Po.”
“…” What Heian Ciemnosc didn’t want to have to go through finally came. He looked slightly awkward before him as Xue Moli continued, “Tell me, black monster. Why did you take Xue Yoler? You definitely did not care about her body. I know myself how irresistible my family can be, male or female, and even the same sex. Else, her purity would be all over your strangely mighty body. This Divine Art of yours has a tremendous body tempering I had never heard of before.”
“…” Heian Ciemnosc became more speechless. This woman wanted him to answer 1 of 2, but she seemed bent on learning about his Divine Art. It was either becoming embarrassed or vulnerable. Naturally, Heian Ciemnosc opened his overly pale red lips and decided…

“Yes, I took her in,” Heian Ciemnosc surrendered, acquiescing to this calculative fox. Xue Moli’s eyes narrowed. The black shade turned white like a layer of dust blown by air. Her lips were tantalizing, and her face emanated a strong sexual appeal as Heian Ciemnosc felt like looking down at her. He was taller than her by half a head. She was damn tall, considering things.
“And…?” Xue Moli behaved like a girl addicted to gossip and neared Heian Ciemnosc, leaning her body to the left and lifting her left shoulder. Afterwards, Xue Moli added, seeing Heian Ciemnosc not wanting to give in. Her smile compelled one to take her here and there, but all Heian Ciemnosc felt was the awkwardness of ‘their’ intricate relationship. A foreshadowing presence emitted from the deepest corners of his heart.
“What? Don’t tell me you took pity on her and decided to become her new father?” Said Xue Moli in a casual, superficial tone. However, Heian Ciemnosc’s silence made her mouth and eyes go round so intensely that her enormous breasts shook beneath her humble robe. Even her nostrils spread open. She shook her head and commented, “Don’t tell me, you like collecting daughters? Is that how Little Po was saved? Little Yoler just asked you for clemency?”
“… Miss Xue Moli’s instincts are indeed formidable,” Heian Ciemnosc kept looking at the immeasurable beauty who gave instinctive signals of wanting to mate with him. His voice was stable and calm as he spoke.
Xue Moli nodded with a smile before her eyes looked at Heian Ciemnosc’s face upturned. Disappointed, she pouted and lifted her charms as Heian Ciemnosc no longer felt as if every inch of his body wanted to bang her. His eyes blinked, and his head jolted in a relieving gesture before Xue Moli’s words left him feeling a little cold.
“Impressive resistance towards the Elements. Resilience against any sort of enchantment. A cultivation base which I cannot… discern? And a body tempering that has never been recorded before, not even from the mentions of my family’s oldest, late ancestors, despite the constant erasing of so much knowledge.” Xue Moli’s eyes became mature and wise, yet impenetrable and indifferent.
“It’s a pity that the counter to this… innate Divine Art is the incapability of reproduction,” Xue Moli’s attitude suddenly made Heian Ciemnosc’s breathing heavier, and a feeling of tightness spread from his esophagus to below his lungs. This ‘true’ her made his instincts want her for real, unlike before. This was no charm or enchantment to seek a response from the Art’s target. It was simply… nature’s will.
“You know, Snow Foxes are known for their reproduction ability and withhold of the parents’ nature when our babies are born. If the black monster is willing, I would be willing to offer you anyone you wish from my family. While I do not know the feeling of being the first of your Race, regardless of how it happened, when, and where. I can understand… loneliness.”
Xue Moli’s words were too much. Far more exciting and thrilling than anything he had felt before… outside his wives. Heian Ciemnosc fought the feeling of wanting to send blood somewhere and take the beauty’s waist to impale her with his seed. Then, he calmly said through his tensed mouth’s lips, “I’m glad. But my wives will bear my children first. Not anyone else, not anyone secondary.”
“… … …” Both fell silent, followed by a notion of stagnancy. When things were becoming too quiet, and Heian Ciemnosc wondered what Xue Moli would decide to do with him, he heard her speak with a light yet indifferent tone. “Come. I may have forgiven your transgressions and feel glad about my Little Yoler finding… a family. But you’re still a wanted criminal, mister black monster.”
… Step. Heian Ciemnosc watched her back and those barely noticeable buttocks beneath the light cyan robe before following Xue Moli. He wouldn’t just leave now. And if he wanted to, he could never see things as they seemed to be… It might end up being meaningful, and it drove Heian Ciemnosc’s interest. He couldn’t help himself.
After walking for an hour, with Heian Ciemnosc enjoying the proper and decent view of a unique person like Xue Moli and her rear. They arrived at a small clearing compared to the lavish structures around this small part of the endless forest. The flooring was white-beige-pale pink, with a small, circular table and lavish chairs around it. An individual parasol was set at the side, covering 10 times the area where the table and chairs were.
A man sat in one of the chairs. He drank from a delicate, fancy glass as Heian Ciemnosc and Xue Moli walked in. the man was absurdly tall, but he was still a little shorter than Heian Ciemnosc. His body frame was bulky, but just perfect. A lady’s legs-slaughterer. Even as he remained seated, the man’s light clothing appeared with an astounding, even bulkier, armor in Heian Ciemnosc’s head, wielding a saber or a spear.
They walked to the table, where Xue Moli stopped and slightly turned to Heian Ciemnosc to say, “Mister black monster, Lamidas Toreon. We were just amidst discussing a few final matters between our trade agreement. Would you mind waiting as we conclude that?”
“Please, if you don’t mind me hearing.” Heian Ciemnosc dragged a chair backwards before sitting in it. Xue Moli and the man exchanged a glance, but what was initially just a stare became a 1.2 seconds long exchange. Heian Ciemnosc looked up at their connected eyes before rubbing his nose. Then, Xue Moli sat opposite of Lamidas Toreon, with Heian Ciemnosc in between, to her left and to Lamidas Toreon’s right.
… For a while, Heian Ciemnosc watched the interactions between the 2. They spoke of the routes between each other’s Universal Lands. After all, they were neighbors. Unlike with the Bluenet Nation, where they had to pass through the Heraxle Clan’s territory to arrive.
At last, they decided on a deal where they could also help the Toreon Clan make connections with the Bluenet Nation. They were the newest, and in a way, the weakest, but they weren’t an Existential Sixth Step organization for no reason. For a Nation to become this strong while keeping their peaceful traits was practically unheard of.
When they were finished, they downed their drinks and looked at Heian Ciemnosc. After a few seconds like this, Heian Ciemnosc became apprehensive as he stretched his right arm and took the drink before his seat. He hadn’t touched it since he sat down.
“Ahh…” After gulping it down his throat, Heian Ciemnosc lightly rested the fancy glass on the table, nearly breaking them. The drink was delicious, but too extravagant. Too much of a few things and little to no emotion. The other 2 finally reacted.
“The knowledge of ghosts in the world spread because of your actions and past stories, mister black monster.” Xue Moli passed a folded document to Heian Ciemnosc. His darkest eyes gave it the wrong eye, but he took it either way. Xue Moli continued after watching him take the document, “One of my Middle Kingdoms has had the fortune of entering the state of gaining Spirit. However, this one has failed to make the last step for the past few hundred years.”
Heian Ciemnosc opened the document and saw everything related to the matter. His eyebrows knitted when he realized what the Kingdoms’s desired Spirit would become it. Lamidas Toreon looked calm as this happened, but Heian Ciemnosc’s nature reading told him the man was restless for a nanosecond before hiding it.
Ignoring the man, Heian Ciemnosc read through the document repeatedly before lifting his chin. He looked at Xue Moli with slightly narrowed, lazy eyes. “What does the Celestial want me to do? I can understand all of this. What is my ticket to a ‘safe house’ for this petty criminal?”
Xue Moli, the Celestial of the Snow Foxes’ Flora-Sweet White-Heavens Dynasty, politely smiled contentedly before nodding. “It won’t be entirely for free. I have heard of mister black monster’s qualitative… taste buds. I’ll arrange for a few dozen Godly cultivators’ corpses, recently killed.”
“Thank you, senior,” Heian Ciemnosc nodded in a praising manner. Although his darkest eyes glinted weirdly at the mention of his barbaric acts. Either way, it was still useful for him. However, Xue Moli smoothly shook her head and gestured to Lamidas Toreon with her left palm facing the sky. “It was not me. I do not have the casualness of granting so many corpses at that Step. Each is valuable. These are from the Toreon Clan. This gentleman over here.”
“Oh. Then I thank the Toreon Clan’s Patriarch’s gesture. I, Heian Ciemnosc, won’t forget this valuable day.” Heian Ciemnosc’s words were true to his intentions. He wasn’t playing around. Lamidas Toreon looked deeply at Heian Ciemnosc’s face before slowly nodding.
With that, Heian Ciemnosc stood up and bowed to these two enigmatic people. These were 2 of the 7 strongest cultivators in the whole world. Of course, this without counting his monstrous Master/wife. He saluted them after devouring the folded document with his dark energy without their notice with his palms placed together. “I’ll be leaving now. Thank you for the opportunity.”
“I hope you succeed,” Xue Moli said, changing seats to the chair Heian Ciemnosc sat on. As their hands touched each other under the table, Lamidas Toreon nodded again at Heian Ciemnosc, stern and bloodthirsty, ready to engage in a feral, deadly battle at any given moment.
Heian Ciemnosc nodded once again before turning around and leaving. He left the 2 lovebirds behind. Although they weren’t quite so like ‘lovebirds’, they seemed like a married couple deciding not to separate in the end, or getting together after doing so.
Heian Ciemnosc walked towards the spaceship dock in the precinct. He walked for 2 hours before taking a transporting vehicle there. He felt too at ease around these Cherry Spirit Floa. Walking between these rosy trees was by far the most peaceful Heian Ciemnosc had felt without his wives’ company. Besides, nobody would notice Vocón Link entering the tree trunks and stealing a dozen or two of the thousands of leaves in each rosy tree.
Finally arriving at the spaceship dock, Heian Ciemnosc’s appearance was that of a pale man with ravishing facial features for others, but the same for Halonso and Sara. Of course, that face was still less handsome than Heian Ciemnosc himself. Nobody could be handsomer than him.
He took a large vessel whose destination coincided with his. He waited another 3 hours before the vessel took flight. After all, it was activated because of him and took time to be filled up. Other than because of his fake handsomeness, Heian Ciemnosc was recognized for his VIP pass. Finally, the large vessel took to the sky and waited its turn to take the portal.
Strangely, Heian Ciemnosc remembered Antonio, whose death came too soon when he was too incapable. Just then, before the large vessels’ turn to go through the portal arrived, a lovely couple of a brown-skinned man and a cute, curly, black chestnut haired lass sat on his sides.
They were young cultivators who were simply living their life in this dangerous world. Heian Ciemnosc chatted with them, and they told him many things. They weren’t shy to engage with him, and the young man wasn’t pesky, even letting Heian Ciemnosc sit beside his girl in the middle. They spoke to Heian Ciemnosc about how many citizens are rising everywhere in the Existence, and that maybe it was the same for other Existences in the Scintillating Crop of World Universal Land.
Heian Ciemnosc smiled a little as he thought of the notion of spending the next few weeks with the young, lovely couple.
…
