Pshiiiiiffftt... Heian Ciemnosc's arms, palms facing the sky, started gathering attention from the other cultivators in the mini-stadium and the crowd. At first, it was a simple action, but now, it carried something with it... But as a couple seconds passed, Heian Ciemnosc's hands suddenly gained dark skin over his pale skin, like armor. Many cultivators from various organizations noted this, trying to investigate his capabilities before the tournament began. Nobody doubted he would reach that section after seeing the previous happenings. They were trying to warn their fellow members who did manage to pass on to the tournament.
“Heian Ciemnosc?! What are you doing? Wait!” There wasn’t much danger after cleaning up most of the mini-stadium. Of course, this wasn’t for cleaning corpses. There were tens of thousands of enemies lying on the ground. Most didn’t have a complete corpse. Thus, at this moment, Teno, Tene, Yun Tang, and Yun Nitu flew towards the large concentration of pure energy, where even Wind elemental particles were crazily flocking.
When they saw Heian Ciemnosc seemingly try to do something crazy, specifically to attack other mini-stadiums, they weren’t sure if this was a good idea. Immediately, and within reason, they wanted him to stop and rethink! However, Heian Ciemnosc continued forward, formidably, and suddenly shot traces of dark Power Energy from his hands!
PHSHIIIIIIIIII~FT! PSHIIIIIIII~FT! PSHIIIIIIIF~FT PSHIIIIIII~FT!
The dark Power Energy from his pale palms wasn’t shot in a beam or a shape like a sphere, arrow, or bullet. It was like a brush crossing through the air, painting a 25 meters wide and about 100 meters long streak that soared into the skies. It looked peaceful and harmless, but the amount of energy behind it was terrible. Wind elemental particles surrounded it, increasing its pace as time went, becoming a blurred shadow halfway through its trajectory.
However, it wasn’t just one. Several dark Power Energy attacks were shot from Heian Ciemnosc’s mini-stadium into the sky. Some went too high up instead of arching in the direction of other mini-stadiums. They nose-dived upwardly, and when reaching the end of their road, they started coming down after a sudden U-turn. On the other hand, the other dark Power Energy attacks simply crossed through the air, directed towards a mini-stadium, although its trajectory could only be read by the spectators above the Second Step, in person or not.
Like fireworks, darkness flew into the sky, and like bombardments, they went down, becoming blurry and striking fear into the watching eyes. Those dark Power Energy attacks sent all high up unceremoniously nose-dived to the ground. Their targets were the nearest mini-stadiums to Heian Ciemnosc’s mini-stadium. The other dark Power Energy attacks had enough of a perfect angle to land anywhere within the mini-stadium.
The crowd watched with hidden, morbid amazement, and Heian Ciemnosc’s mini-stadium became silent.
… In this mini-stadium, 2 Wrath Nihility Academy teams were rapidly being chased by at least 250 enemy cultivators. They were led by 3 Interchanging Dust Dynasty teams, which were, in turn, sending rigorous Power Energy attacks and some Arts’ attacks to impale them in the ground as they had done to other teams from the alliance. If one looked behind the path these 2 Academy teams took, they would find a corpse every few thousand meters with different or similar emblems.
“...” - “...” The 2 teams’ leaders looked at each other and saw the tiredness increasing until now. Getting this tired and chased wasn’t much, but they weren’t the only ones being chased. This was just one of the enemy’s teams, whose overall size in this mini-stadium was more extensive than the Academy’s alliance, who hunted small fry while both sides’ frontlines bitterly fought against one another.
The deaths of the few people they were just getting to know, every one of them, left them feeling bad tastes in their mouths repeatedly. Those allies didn’t have much coordination even after training for 3 months. That was normal, however, as they didn’t go through extreme situations while learning. As a result, these 2 team leaders were thinking of throwing the towel and going off greatly.
Sweep- PEW! PPPPPPPPOM!!
“!!” - “?!” But, suddenly, their backs were engulfed by a deathly cold, silent eruption that seemed to come from nowhere. Yet, when the ‘explosive’ waves reached the 2 teams’ backs, it felt warm and somewhat familiar. When they turned around to watch what had occurred, a cloud, 50 meters wide and over 20 meters tall, was still fully formed behind them. As for their chasers, most were gone, while the remaining few were with their bum on the ground and utterly confused, looking at the dark cloud!
“AAAAAH!!!” - GGRWAAAAAAAAAH!” - “HYAAAAAAAAGGHH!!” The teams didn’t need their leaders’ words, stares, or medallion commands. They directly shouted, their blood boiled, returning to those brutal battles in the wars, and rushed towards the remaining few enemies under their leaders’ backs. Rigorous Power Energy and Mortal weapons flashed, Arts and tools flew from one side to the other, immediately surpassing the enemy’s expectations.
… On another mini-stadium, the situation was better for the Wrath Nihility Academy’s alliance. Their numbers were equal, and there were quite a few Academy teams with their veteran commanders up for battle. However, in one place far ahead from the current, biggest battlefield where few thousands faced thousands more, the Academy’s side against the Dynasty’s side. One female was being chased by several dozen Broken Crystallization realm enemy cultivators.
Whooooooooosh- plash! Dash! Whooooooosh… Arla flew in an arching direction towards the right, chased by the enemies behind like locusts, their faces locked on her back, wearing stern and lustful eyes. Suddenly, she turned around, and a whip landed in her right hand. She softly lashed it down after raising her wrist before whipping it down. The red-pink whip rapidly extended over 150 meters in the air behind her and distorted it as the whip’s heat went crazily up.
She didn’t wait to see the result of her attack as she turned around and began flying again. This time, she arched her trajectory to go lower and to the left. Behind her, 12 enemy cultivators’ bodies parted, with the cultivators’ remaining melting down as they fell from the air. Another 30 were injured, from heavily to lightly, but still contained to chase after Arla. Even if they could offend the importance of this event by taking her under them, why did it matter when they could just steal her from his supposed lover? Besides, everyone knew what kind of slut Arla was. They even thought she wouldn’t dare fight or struggle and would immediately lay on the ground for them. Life was full of surprises.
“Goddammit! Just catch heeer, alreaaaady! Our leaders want to prepare that little black monster a surprise! Stop wasting time!! Aggh!” The enemy leader, in charge of these 100+ enemy cultivators, roared, surging with the most rigorous Power Energy as he couldn’t hide the excitement on his face. The rest of the enemy cultivators became emboldened. How could they not notice Arla’s rigorous Power Energy not dwindling after so long?
‘Ahh… I had to be brave. I had to disobey order, lalala.’ On the other hand, Arla was calm internally but showing tiredness from the outside. She wasn’t faking it, but she knew these people’s intentions. Arla couldn’t care less if she was raped. Something like that couldn’t threaten her. She wasn’t in Elena’s position where her husband would be brutally humiliated before the whole Existence, and she could turn a tragedy into another fun session.
However, why should she just get taken like that? She was already a strong young cultivator. Nobody but her future hubby and Heian Ciemnosc could deal with her. Oh, and all the Saberbone Diabolical Club’s members. Only others who were incredible, or either Frank or Heian Ciemnosc ordered or let her lay with, should be capable of embracing her. Not these dirty, useless ants following after her for hours yet failing to catch the hems of her clothes.
‘If only I could get- hmm?!’ As Arla was planning to feign another surrender, drop her guard, and kill another dozen enemy cultivators before resuming her escape. However, just then, she felt a most wonderful sensation as she looked back up the skies. Slowly, she stopped her movements.
“There! Surround her! Don’t let her escape this time! GOO!!” The enemy leader said upon seeing a dumb Arla look at them as if realizing she shouldn’t deny her desires anymore. Just then, Arla’s eyes seemed to turn wholly pitch-black. The enemy leader turned around to ask another cultivator flying beside him to see if he was seeing things when, instead, he saw darkness already engulfing his group.

Several cultivators tried to escape, waving their hands and grabbing onto adjacent fellow cultivators, but everyone was being sucked into the dark helplessly. The enemy leader only had a few seconds left to live. Unbeknownst to him. And when he returned his head to look at Arla, she was already calmly sitting cross-legged in midair with a little smile plastered on her face. She looked pure and like a little girl as if gloating over something.
… … shuaaaa… … That was the last thing he saw before darkness consumed him, not allowing him to ‘see’ darkness as if in death. All that remained was the sensation of his body dissipating, gnawed by endless, hungry atoms, slowly and cartoonishly disappearing from the world.
WHOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOSH~!
Arla remained sitting cross-legged, her palms placed together as she started her cultivation method, still smiling and looking like a pure little girl. The dark cloud passed through her, harmlessly touching and caressing her skin and clothes. Suddenly, she opened her eyes, looked ahead knowingly, and opened her lips. “Thank you, junior. You know how to make a woman feel cherished, hehe.”
“... … … See you in the tournament. Or not.” Arla didn’t receive a response, but she felt heard. Contentedly, she closed her eyes, and her face turned serious. Of course, Heian Ciemnosc wouldn’t let his senior apprentice brother’s future wife be treated like this. Even more so, as his senior apprentice sister, Arla was too precious to Heian Ciemnosc to be indifferent to her well-being as with other students. He did take advantage to ‘comfort’ her a little through this dark Power Energy attack to help her enter cultivation quicker, showing her some affection in case her heart felt slightly shaky. She was chased to be raped before quadrillions of eyes, after all.
However, she didn’t need it. Although she may not be one of the people who have suffered, let alone the most, in the world, she was a big, strong young woman with a naughty nature. That was all.
The crowd watching these happenings was left mouth-agape. Their widened eyes looked left and right to see if the others around them were as stunned. They felt a little better when they saw they weren’t the only ones. Thus, in a quick succession of events, Arla was confirmed to be Heian Ciemnosc’s girlfriend through the Universal Conveyance. Although Heian Ciemnosc couldn’t see that at the moment, he wouldn’t worry even if he did because he knew Frank would not only not mind but even like such a thing. Sigh, the 60%.
… In this other mini-stadium, Elena was in the middle of a battlefield, taking the vanguard just as her husband would. Her right hand waved her Dark Wind around like there was no tomorrow, and in her left hand, her Colorful Claw rested at the side of her body, dripping with blood and some organ matter entangling around its back.
Swish! Fwoooomp! SPLAAAASSSH~! Whoosh! Shaa- Phhshk! Phhshk! Phhshk! Phhshk! Phhshk!.... Phhshk! Swipe~! Swiiiiish– SPLAAAAASSHHHHH!
Elena’s right hand swooped to her right. Dark Wind lifted a massive Wind wave, and transparent grayish yellow and gold energy rushed in that direction. Like a sandstorm, it approached hundreds of enemies. They rapidly put their Mortal weapons up, effectuated their Arts, and raised rigorous Power Energy barriers. However, they were broken apart after the wind waves arrived. They resisted the direct brunt, but as Elena was already looking ahead, as if feeling something, the continuous wind waves assaulting them broke their defenses, followed by their carcasses turning into trash and liquid.
Just then, Elena’s left eye stared in one direction. A cultivator exited stealth and sent its machete downwards. Infused with all his rigorous Power Energy, he charged towards Elena with the intention to even die in exchange for her life! Her strange, god-like halberd had already been used for a strong attack, and she couldn’t do it again anytime soon. He could now take this opportunity to-.
However, before the young man could get closer than 2 meters to Elena with all his rigorous Power Energy and some blood essence used for this one move, Elena’s left hand was lifted, and a marvel of green, purple, and golden flashed like a cone directly from her fingers. The Colorful Claw’s use could be noted now. And as The young man felt his sternum pierced, he looked down while limply lowering his arms and dropping that machete.
Instead of seeing a hole, he saw 5 tiny holes around a bigger one as large as his head. Looking back up, as he felt his body levitate towards Elena, his face was pitiful and sad, but Elena was indifferent and didn’t react to it. Finally, arriving right next to her, the cultivator saw that Elena’s Artifact stabbed around the hole, with its claws deep in his body and still moving forward, coming out from his back.
Right then, Elena threw him into the air and, using her Dark Wind like a bat, she swatted the young man’s body far away into a hidden group of enemy cultivators, grouped to launch a sneak attack on the army she was leading. The body didn’t even have the chance to turn into a corpse before it disintegrated by the wind accompanying it. Still, the wind Elena’s Destructive Wind of Darkness sent landed on the hidden enemy group.
Without any explosion, as if it was just a breeze that wasn’t even audible ten meters away, the group immediately succumbed, their bodies turning into only clothes and layers of skin that fluttered in the air.
“Husband, I have something to say…” Elena suddenly spoke with her mouth. She felt Heian Ciemnosc’s presence all around him, and knowing his Spirit Sense was truthfully vast now, even more so for his current Step’s peak, she flashed a tiny smile before returning her headstrong appearance. However, it was still noticed by the spectators. She was being taken as a cultivator with a thing for murder and massacring others. But she wouldn’t mind any less.
“I just thought about it now, so sorry for not telling you earlier. But, this?” Elena looked somewhere, seemingly knowing what she was looking at. In that direction, a could of darkness was about to descend on her mini-stadium, landing where she received many rescue requests but couldn’t send too many of her soldier units, nor fast enough. She felt thankful for having such a stupidly absurd husband and decided on using this moment to relay her emotions.
She felt his presence concentrated on her face and, more specifically, her mouth as her pale, rosy lips moved. Thus, she lovingly spoke under her breath so that her words wouldn’t be heard by the crowd. Just him. “In this place, now, and after, when you go to the tournament, higher than me… Since I can’t participate too much, kill for me. Kill as many necessary as possible. Until we both feel it’s enough. Right, but don’t force yourself too much. Who cares about being the champion? Eheheh.”
Elena was left alone this time. No idiot dared sneak attacking her, let alone charge towards her. They might have wondered why nobody stopped them whenever they tried targeting Elena, thinking her people shouldn’t like her. However, now, they understood. Elena didn’t need protection and probably even told her people to let her have some extra kills this way. She was… such a bellic monster.
RUUUUUUUUUUUMBLEEEEE!!! … … … … swish, swish… pew pew pew pew~...
The dark Power Energy streak landed far from her position, but she continued feeling peaceful, even as thousands from both sides had already died around her. She smirked once, looking savage, before returning her gaze to the enemy faces before her. They suddenly felt confused and more as Elena looked at them as if saying, ‘yeah, that was us, afraid yet?’.
… Back in Heian Ciemnosc’s mini.-stadium. Heian Ciemnosc’s arms were just going low when he heard Elena’s words, and every other dark Power Energy attack landed where they were supposed to, sending rumbling quakes everywhere. Teno and the others were coming closer as the former held his head like Heian Ciemnosc was about to be disqualified. However, in his head, as he prepared to lift his arms again, he heard a notably pleasant voice.
“Wow, your wife Elena is a great wife material,” Sara said, cleaning her nails with the air as a completely different energy swept past them in the air. She looked indifferent, but her words were heartfelt. Heian Ciemnosc halted and asked in his mind, “What do you mean now?”
“Asking you to gain too much popularity and not necessarily go after the championship, that’s a clever gal if I ever see one. Elena must want you to become something like the sensation of not just this Existence but everywhere… Mn, those 2 above us right now must be the same. Hehe. Did you know I saw many attempts from the 3 hosting organizations to request her to come to watch the show in person? Only that Interchanging Dust Dynasty didn’t send people to meet the red-headed beauty.” Sara elaborated, giggling and feeling in a good mood.
“Mnn, thanks.” Heian Ciemnosc hummed inside his head and said. Seeing Sara casually nod with a blink, he returned to face his leading allies. His arms were fully up, dark Power Energy congregating again, and Heian Ciemnosc spoke before rudely firing in front of them. “There are rules of not exiting our mini-stadiums. This is obviously to avoid having every cultivator join their group and sweep through them. Otherwise, it would be disastrous midway through the battle royale.”
“They didn’t say anything about not attacking from one mini-stadium to another,” saying that, Heian Ciemnosc immediately started aiming with his Spirit Sense locking everywhere. His dark Power Energy was wasted a bit in the previous effort, but it took a toll on his Spirit Sense and Soul more. Even there, if he wanted to send 10 times that amount before wasting his storage and exhausting his Psychogenic capabilities, he could.
“That… seems to make sense,” Teno said, still unsure if Heian Ciemnosc was fine. However, a quick look at the skies revealed the hosts’ seats remaining still. At this moment, Yun Nitu spoke, and as everyone turned to look at her, they saw her praising expression as she praised Heian Ciemnosc. “True! But you’re not the only one thinking about it. But I think you’ve just made everyone feel like they can do the same. Besides, you killed their people without hesitation, even those neutral fellows from the top 8 organizations. Hehe. Now we’ll see what we do in a large-distance battle royale.”
“...” Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head to the right, ready to send all his dark Power Energy to decimate the enemy, and the people who hadn’t taken action so far or were standing still as his people and the alliance were hunted and mowed down. “Should I feel embarrassed?”
Seeing his uncaring, bloodthirsty ideals, Yun Nitu dropped her head and helplessly shook it.
…
