Returning To The Wrath Nihility Academy
Heian Ciemnosc watched Sahnyr return to the Wrath Nihility Academy's VIP zone. After she was transported there, the golden arena slowly detached itself as if it was made of several chunks that could attach or detach at command. As it dissipated, the hosts above stood from their chairs, taking the center of the platform as the Godly beings watched and politely stood up, followed by the 2 floors of bleachers. Now, the final declaration of the event's ending would commence, but it seemed like the hosts were giving some rebuffing break to everyone.
“Congrats,” Heian Ciemnosc calmly commented. Sahnyr winked at him with her right eye before walking to Biston. Heian Ciemnosc lifted his head to watch as Heavenly Protector Diego was no longer missing and was even the spokesperson for giving the final dot to the event. Heavenly Protector Diego raised his voice and spoke to the calm and satisfied, greedy crowd of bleachers.
“Attention,” his word dragged on, reverberating in everyone’s chests. Diego continued, “Today, and after this fight, the end to this Change Merit Trials have concluded. During these 5 months, we have seen the Existence’s capabilities, at least from one of our younger generations. Although it is true they lack as a whole, each individual here has potential that needs not only growth, but solidification as well.”
“It was bloody, but it couldn’t have been… as necessary as it was.” Diego took a deep breath, smoothly traveling into his lungs as his voice sounded everywhere. “The Champion of this tournament section is the Wrath Nihility Academy’s Sahnyr!!”
“Wuuuuuuuhuuuuuuuuuuu~~!!!!” At the sound of the event’s big boss’s name being declared, to which doubt only remained in the jealous. The stadium thundered with cheers. It wasn’t for too long, but neither was it brief. This wasn’t just entertainment, and even if most of the spectators, civilians, were to die before anything really happened, they were witnessing its mere beginning.
Diego slowly waved his left palm up in the air. Silence resumed, and the sound of a whistling, joyful wind echoed above the stadium, even above the second floor of bleachers. Diego rotated in midair until he stopped. Not coincidentally, he was facing the Wrath Nihility Academy’s VIP zone below. His eyes rested on the still insanely beautiful, elegant, graceful Sahnyr.
“You have a choice and an opportunity,” Diego solemnly spoke. Diego continued, his voice turned somewhat softer, “You may choose between 3 top-notch Earth weapons or a full set of armor. Additionally, you may choose to learn 2 Supreme Arts of us 4 representatives here. You won’t be bound to our organizations. This is our gift, your deserved prize, and it is up to you to decide how to use them. Just remember, you cannot teach it to another, or something, without all 4 of us’ permission.”
“Yes, senior. Thank you,” Sahnyr was sitting beside her beloved. Biston was still bandaged and hurting from his inside while his skin was mostly recuperated. She stood up, bowed, and politely responded to Diego’s call before lowering her eyelids and falling into ponder. She took 10 seconds to open her eyes and softly answer, staring up into the sky. “Senior, I would like a complete armor set for myself and… I would like to learn from the Genoa’s Descent and the Bellink Supreme Arts, seniors.”
“Mn, it does seem to fit you well, dear.” Bai Yue’er smiled and nodded, praising Sahnyr’s potential with the potential-based Supreme Art, unique even amongst the entire world, not just this Existence. The Godly beings guests also looked at Sahnyr in intrigue as she made her choice. Grand Elder Bajo also chipped in, rapidly voicing his contentment. “We will teach you well.”
“...” Sahnyr felt butterflies in her tummy after she bowed and returned to her future hubby’s side. She sat beside him and leaned her tired, hurt head on him as the glow around her started disappearing. Biston encompassed her with his arms when he noticed. They looked hella sweet. Love was in the air~.
“Now,” Diego spoke again, rotating in midair, and caused the crowd to widen their eyes in excitement at the sound of his words. Yet, he once again faced the same side, and with a lightning-quick roll of his eyes, he looked at the Wrath Nihility Academy’s VIP zone and proceeded to give the speech. “For the Best Team to have participated in the entire tournament, from the 1st phase where you harvest flora and hunted Fauna, to the 2nd phase where you vied for more resources, and until the 3rd phase’s tournament section. It is the Concealed Ornament Team!!”
“Fucken knaw eet!” - “Hell yeah!” - “The Academy’s raising. It’s gonna get real big real quick!” - “Fuck it! I’m gonna join the Academy next year, and you can bet your ass I’ll become part of the entire Team in the future. I need to form part of them! Fuck, fuck, fuck!” - “Yeah, me too… just not that crazy. I respect this Team so much!” - “I just want to see Heian Ciemnosc train naked, aahh~. Who remembers his fight against the crazy bitch? Those muscles… ah~!” - “Oof, me too gurl.” - “Haha, yeah…” - “You again?” - “...” - “He’s full straight for sure. Find another job, dude.” - “... (˘̩̩̩̩̩̩⌢˘̩̩̩̩̩̩) ┐(´-`)┌ ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ” - “Aye, that’s the attitude.”
“Every single member, Heian Ciemnosc, Elena, Arla, Fera, Esteban, Fengli, Sakura, Oleg, Victor, Violet, Aleksander, and Gloria. You can each now choose one of us to learn a Supreme Art. You will receive the same treatment as the tournament’s Champion, so choose what you believe is the best for you.” Diego explained before letting the Team think it through. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t hesitate and chose while Sakura and Arla leaned on his shoulders, and Elena sat on his lap with a little Fera on her lap.
“I want to learn the Bellink Supreme Art,” with his blunt answer, like a kid receiving candy from a rich uncle or auntie who is trying to buy a good impression, the crowd held their laughter as Diego nodded and Bai Yue’er smiled. “To you, little black monster, and anyone else who chooses me to teach you, I will be content helping you in your path. Be it in the future or in your records as you walk through it, I hope it gives you what you best need.”
“I will like…” After Heian Ciemnosc decided, his COs, lover, wife, and daughter-in-training took a little while to select their Supreme Art. They could learn one in the future when they ‘graduated’ from the Academy, but learning an additional one now couldn’t be bad. Besides, these were Supreme Arts. Not one of them was inferior to the other. All were equal. It was only depending on whether a monkey or a dragon was using them that mattered.
“... Very well,” Diego spoke after all 3 representatives were chosen by the Concealed Ornament Team’s members. There were a few who chose his Interchanging Dust Dynasty’s Consequential 3-Eye Supreme Art, which meant his Dynasty hadn’t made a black hole of disgust and growing hatred from this group of little growing monstrous cultivators. After feeling gladdened, Diego nodded at the Wrath Nihility Academy and was about to turn around, but on second thought, he simply sighed and started declaring…
“This tournament’s Honorable Gladiator is Heian Ciemnosc!” Diego might have seen many bushes before him, but he went straight through and didn’t even step once to the sides. The crowd was silent because, of course, who the fuck could predict an outcome like this?! Nevertheless, it only took them 5 awkward seconds before blasting the entire Middle Godly Spatial Station. From the stadium, from everywhere… they went off!
“KYAAAAAAA~~!!” - “WOWOWOWOOUUUUUU~!!” - “Heian - Ciemnosc, you’re the best!” - “You should’ve been the Champion!!” - “Tsk, he surely cheated!” - “WAOHOAHOAOOO!”
“Ahem,” Diego interrupted the wanton crowds, liberating Heian Ciemnosc from the sensation of countless eyes preying on him like the greatest dish cooked, prepared, served, and eaten in the world. After the crowd behaved, showing they had lost the experience they gained during the tournament, Diego silently sighed before starting. “Heian Ciemnosc, as the Honorable Gladiator, you can choose between marrying up to 100 top-notch seeds in any of our organizations or having full access to one of our organizations’ libraries.”
“If I may, the first opt-” Diego spoke for his organization and of his pals as they nodded like chickens as he began convincing Heian Ciemnosc. After all, he had already convinced the little black monster from killing his enemy. It could work, right? However, putting the word stiff into their faces, Heian Ciemnosc interrupted the Heavenly Protector, one of the 4 hosting organizations’ representatives. “I choose the Obscure Orb Sect’s library, thanks.”
“...” - “...” - “...” - “...Ehehehe~!” The crowd died, turning the entire stadium silent, although the same couldn’t be said for the entire Middle Godly Spatial Station. The 4 representatives also fell silent helplessly. The Wrath Nihility Academy’s VIP zone was quiet, too. Although some of the females had smiles. Lastly, the only one who dared voice something, her giggles, was a little Fera, who felt proud of her Sect for the first time.

“Aheeum!” Grand Elder Jolden came to everyone’s rescue, but even his face was a bit red. Like the other 4 hosting representatives, Jolden felt a pity that a monstrous seed wouldn’t be spread like crazy among their organization. Similarly, he knew his Obscure Orb Sect’s VIP zone felt as saddened as their representative was. It was the same for the other 3 hosting organizations. Yet, someone had to make this hard to swallow pill go down the gutter.
“If you don’t mind, Heian Ciemnosc. There are 2 options for your choice. We can deliver you most of the information in our library, and the rest you would have to go through in my organization’s territory… Or we can let you take temporary residence in our organization for a year. We will show you everything that there is to see. Our history, the Kingdoms we have spread to, an-” Grand Elder Jolden was really nice, and he was Fera’s master… which was why Heian Ciemnosc couldn’t let him go any longer, or it would be much worse.
“Ahem, alright then.” Grand Elder Jolden didn’t push for more and remained quiet, which was a little comical considering his and Heian Ciemnosc’s status. Nevertheless, Diego wasn’t slow to adapt as he cleared his throat before speaking to the Existence. It was time to give it closure, and although there would still be images of the stadium and around for the celebration of its conclusion, the rest would be off.
“In the name of the Phosphorescent Flower Sect, Obscure Orb Sect, Golden Terra Sect, and the Interchanging Dust Dynasty, I declare the Change Merit Trials event… as over!!!”
Pshiuuuuuuw- po pah! Pshiiiiiuuuuw- po pah!
From the stadium’s inner walls, rockets were shot into the universe. Dozens of such exited the Middle Godly Spatial Station’s barrier and entered space before exploding into several colors, brightening the Godly Spatial Station below. These fireworks weren’t made with simple materials and made use of the Elemental poisoning within space to create beauty that transcended barriers and wasn’t harmful to any Kingdom’s spatial territory or Spatial Station.
The beautiful sky started raining colors on the stadium. The lights on the streets, from some buildings, and fewer residences took up on some color and glowed it from the morning until the celebrations ended. Although they wouldn’t last due to the civilians living within, the sensation would continue even after a few years before the Middle Godly Spatial Station returned to normal.
… Under the festivities, a few days were about to be spent in banquets, and after-event meetings would take place. Heian Ciemnosc attended them with the Obscure Orb Sect, Phosphorescent Sect, and other ally organizations. He was merely there as a trophy, of course, and didn’t engage in much conversation other than to know some leading figures from the younger generation and some more information about the world on their part of the Existence.
After today, chances were they might not be meeting each other for a long time. Although they might meet years later, many changes could happen, and one’s cultivation base would have certainly increased by leaps and bounds. It was best to not lose the chance to grow stronger connections in the Existence, especially at this early age in cultivation. It might be like a hangout for the youngsters, but it could be as important as the rising of a legend for the adults of today.
Finally, after several days of ‘partying’ with people his age, more or less, some 10 or 50 years older than him, Heian Ciemnosc took the second vessel to the Obscure Orb Sect so that his Concealed Ornament Team could also meet the rest of the ally organizations they didn’t have a chance to know. Fera returned to her Sect with Teno and Tene, who were rather sticky towards him ever since he mimicked their Supreme Art. It is supreme, after all…
Yun Nitu and Yun Tang were slightly embarrassed. Despite having such tremendous power, because of the lining up, this event had, their chances to soar into the best ranking were lost. All blame could fall on the Interchanging Dust Dynasty for this matter, but it was nothing more than a small prank from both sides’ upper echelons. If there was dissonance among the ‘leading overlords’ in the Existence, it would have been turned into war as soon as the 10 year war finished.
If there was something all cultivators were afraid of, no matter their Step, organization, or survival abilities, besides Elemental Disasters and the truth, it could never be wars and death. Only when one was close to their achievement would they care about their deaths. But before that was even near, it could only be considered like a palm pushing one’s heart down to try again, harder and madder.
After Heian Ciemnosc spent his last day in the Middle Godly Spatial Station, he took the second batch of vessels to the Obscure Orb Sect under the Wrath Nihility Academy’s higher-ups escorting him. Elena and Arla were brought along as they took flight towards another corner of the Existence, just a few Universes from the Phosphorescent Flower Sect. Their territorial rulership had borders with one another as if meeting face to face, but they expanded backwards and to the sides, without going directly to their sides, to not create more awkward borders.
It has been a few Eons since the Existence had any wars the size of the Phosphorescent Flower Sect and the Obscure Orb Sect. While the Interchanging Dust Dynasty is like a younger sibling to these 2 powers, the Golden Terra Sect was everyone’s aunty. In any case, no such Age-worthy wars have happened since a long time ago. Their alliance was to be thirsted and jealous about, but it wasn’t uncommon in the entire history of the world.
Although it is rare to see such alliances be candidly perfect and last for so long, several dozen like these are recorded through the Archeons. Even more, each Eon is enough to completely clean any 4th Step organization or below, as time would prove it, but these have held on for too many of those. If these Fourth Step organizations were already acclaimed to survive Eons nonstop, without losing their might, and instead solidifying and sometimes even increasing it… Then what about the Wrath Nihility Academy?
Heian Ciemnosc was surprised when he arrived at the Obscure Orb Sect’s individual territory, the center of its whole territory. They owned universes left and right but didn’t completely rule over each of them straight up. Only Fifth Step organizations could have half an Existence to even 2 whole Existences directly under their wings, nothing a ‘trifling’ Godhood organization can achieve.
Just as Heian Ciemnosc thought he had understood a good deal of the world after witnessing their top-notch Geniuses of ‘the same’ age as him, his brain melted when he arrived at the mere spatial station orbiting around the Obscure Orb Sect’s Supreme Kingdom. He could spot dozens of individuals from the Sect with talent like his COs. Further, on his first day in the Obscure Orb Sect’s individual territory, when he came down to its Supreme Kingdom… he saw hundreds of the same talent!
Of course, they were all Core Disciples and not meager Servants or the like. This world still made sense to Heian Ciemnosc, at least. There, he was saved by the Obscure Orb Set’s new little princess, the disciple of the Grand Elder and Sect Master. Now, she had equal status to Tene and Teno, who, of course, welcomed Heian Ciemnosc alongside Fera.
Fera had changed a little, from being a brown, young girl, not so beautiful yet cute, and being nonchalant to knowing how to look big before her Big Brother. Her hair was picked up and combed backwards into a tiny bum. She looked spectacular from the sides, and when she let her new self be seen by those darkest eyes, she didn’t forget to pose her profile sides once, twice… and so on.
After being saved from a multitude of millions of fangirls and fanboys who just wanted to be glared at by Heian Ciemnosc so they could cultivate like mad people from that day on, Fera and the Tens brought him to the library. He had a week to read as many heavily important tomes, parchments, scrolls, and even love notes the Obscure Orb Sect had legally acquired, confiscated from previous victories, and bought from auctions.
After all, no matter how old an organization was unless they were a Fifth or Sixth Step organization once upon a time, they could never have knowledge and teachings belonging to such categories. Thus, Heian Ciemnosc spent a week coming in and out of the library. He didn’t dare to bang his lovers or wife in the Wrath Nihility Academy’s library. He surely wouldn’t dare do it in a Fourth Step organization.
For that, Heian Ciemnosc had a room, and even though he wanted to know all about the library, he could only get to ¼ in a week, even if he went 25/7 at it. Thus, he sometimes sparred with Tene, Teno, and some other Geniuses from the Sect. On the other hand, Tene was revealed to be an official Chosen, while Teno was titled as a Gifted. Fera wasn’t in this title-giving party, but Heian Ciemnosc knew the Obscure Orb Sect’s old foxes and crafty schemers were avoiding it to protect her. And he was more than glad with such a decision. Of course, not that a stinky brat like him can change in this situation if he wanted to.
There didn’t seem to be any love or sexual tension between the Tens and were more like siblings. As for Fera, if Teno was dumb and not him, he would have already been dealt with by daddy Heian Ciemnosc. In any case, they were her seniors and could only treat her right. Especially since they knew Fera’s importance to the Sect. She might very well be a sure-for first disciple to become in the far, far future!!
And time passed by quickly. After testing a Fourth Step organization’s beds for a whole week and giving Fera a great last week with him before separating, he gave her much of his knowledge in books, notes, and scrolls so she could build up her Spirit Sense and Soul more solid than she believe she could, as she was above Heian Ciemnosc in terms of energy manipulation… Heian Ciemnosc departed with a teary Fera hugging him and delaying the vessel leading to the Golden Terra Sect’s Supreme Kingdom for 75 minutes.
Heian Ciemnosc and the Obscure Orb Sect were both helpless. This was little Fera they were talking about…
