Dragoon Ore Kingdom's Prairies
A couple of weeks later. Several Regions from the Calatida Region. In the air.
WHOOOOSHH~!!
Evans flew the skies with impunity, carrying nearly a dozen people on his back, at numerous dozen kilometers every 2 seconds. If one could see Jing Evan from the front, they'd see a magnificent, beautiful swan narrow his eyes as he eyed several 'prey' even thousands of kilometers away. Each of these fled the moment Evans set his gaze on them. He continued without a care, flying 500 km above the ground level, passing through mountains, and eating the occasional unsuspecting Fauna daring enough to think they could share the skies with him.
Heian Ciemnosc ordered the creation of 2 ports just before leaving. These would face the other land section between the Aqualian Drake Sect and the Forestalress Academy.
The oceanic rivers were dangerous and a sure death if one wasn’t capable enough, namely, owning a ship that could protect itself against them. Although not many oceanic Faunae would target the ships sailing through the oceanic rivers, even a small group of these were enough to scare any merchant and business.
The ports would be built within forts, a higher grade of a defensive settlement than outposts. They would be at the southernmost zone at the oceanic riverbank separating the Southern land sections. The real number of oceanic Faunae wasn’t something could ignore. This was no Little Lake, and the fellows hidden below were many, especially in the Farsighted realm.
A dozen of Faunae lay below, always cutting off Heian Ciemnosc’s Spirit Sense, or at least they thought they did. After numerous attempts, Heian Ciemnosc discerned the Faunae hiding below the oceanic rivers to not care of his intentions. They only wanted one thing, to govern this entire Region.
Since they were another ‘neutral’ enemy, Heian Ciemnosc would progressively deal with them. Even though they had 3 Bright/Silhouette realm experts among their ancestors, it wasn’t something Heian Ciemnosc would shy away from. Besides, his cultivation base hasn’t suddenly stagnated, nor had his capabilities suddenly disappeared.
During these 2 years, Heian Ciemnosc spent an entire year trying to break into the 4th stage. It was incredibly difficult, but he managed. It wasn’t only a matter of being ‘ready’ since Heian Ciemnosc never needed such requirements. However, the amount of pure energy refinement required was… substantially near-impossible.
It made sense, since from the 3rd and 4th phase was a ‘phantasm’ threshold. This would allow a Life-Long realm 4th stage cultivator on par with 10 3rd stage cultivators, and easily handle dozens or hundreds of 2nd or 1st stage cultivators, respectively.
However, the amount deemed necessary was not reasonable. Others can consider themselves Geniuses at the very least if they can match a Life-Long ream 4th stage while in the 3rd stage. But Heian Ciemnosc could kill those in the Farsighted realm, while in the Life-Long realm… Even then, it was far too much pure energy which Heian Ciemnosc ‘wasted’ to break into the 4th stage.
Moreover, he also requires Elemental particles after breaking into the Third Step, but it was basically ignorable until then. Heian Ciemnosc had to absorb a small quantity of Elemental particles compared to the pure energy he refined. The Elemental particles didn’t need refinement, since he used no Elemental Art. They just incorporated into his body and inner universe.
However, the problem was how to attract them, and the density in which they were drawn. To Heian Ciemnosc, this was no issue. The only restriction he suffered was the torment of calming all 5 Elemental particle types so they wouldn’t rage and burst into his body along pain.
Fortunately, after he broke into the 4th stage, it became a smoother situation. He didn’t spend too much time before reaching the 6th stage with daily coitus with Tania and Grietta. It was to the point that Anastasia, nearing her breakthrough into the Breaking Point realm, could only meditate to diver her attention from her guards’ tremendous moans.
Anastasia hoped she’d find the moment to breakthrough in this trip. It shouldn’t be too long, and daddy said he’d make up for her, so…
Currently, everyone was waiting for an opportunity to advance in their cultivation path, and Heian Ciemnosc’s Eternal Return Team was adamantly focused on comprehending their Supreme Arts to assist their absurdly mighty Team Leader.
“...” Looking back, Heian Ciemnosc watched how his Team members rested on Evans’s back. Clanton and 3 of his wives, the slowest in cultivation among his harem, cuddled while the gray black night sky discolored their bodies and the aura around them. Ruo Wei and Cara slept together like little lovers, with Cara letting Ruo Wei lean her head on Cara’s tummy while her back rested on Cara’s lap.
Loma and her lover sat while leaning on each other. Finally, Anastasia and her maids faced the ceiling while resting in all tranquility.
Step, step, step… On the other hand, Grietta was up and currently walking towards him. She crossed her feet and sat cross-legged just behind Heian Ciemnosc on his right. Her facial expression was a little helpless but contented, and the wind lightly moved her black hair as she looked at him, pursed her lips, and blinked twice at him before looking up under the stars.
“...” Heian Ciemnosc said nothing and looked up, unafraid of the sky. He could see it all.
The pitch-black curtain on the horizon was filled with stars, as if lined up, so others could see them equally, even if they were at rock bottom-level. Grietta supported her left arm on Heian Ciemnosc’s right shoulder. Her left elbow grazing against his neck as they calmly watched the never-moving, humongous night sky.
“...” - “...” After half an hour, they looked at each other. Grietta narrowed her eyes, filled with glee, and smiled from ear to ear with thinned out lips. Heian Ciemnosc silently looked at her, scrutinized her countenance, and slightly tilted his head to the left. He suddenly felt charmed by her womanliness and felt a potent tingle on his awaking behemoth.
Tap. Rustle~... Grietta vulnerably closed her eyes before his very own darkest eyes and suddenly heaved down her head on his right-sided trapezius muscle. Her face was blissful as she felt peaceful, and Heian Ciemnosc lightly pressed his right ear on her hair as she sighed in relief from her nostrils.
Slowly, Grietta hugged Heian Ciemnosc’s right arm, as if she was struggling against sleep. Her breast cushioned his elbow and his hand inadvertently reposed on her opened, crossed legs against her covered vulva. Nothing happened, however.
This was enjoyable. They didn’t need to make love to improve it or make it ‘more’ memorable. It was fine as it is.
. . .
2 days later, in another darkening sky, Evans descended barely 2 kilometers away from a medium-sized town.
FLUTTER, FLUTTER~~! WHOOASSSSHHHH~~...
Crrriii- craakakaka~!! Evans cried as the people on his back stepped out of his back. The Eternal Return Team stepped down first and used their Spirit Sense to navigate through everywhere except the town’s center, where powerful organizations’ branches lay.
“Wow, Dragoon Ore Kingdom really has a magnificent way of growing rich, huh?” Loma said as her feet landed on the ground. Unlike Heian Ciemnosc, other cultivators needed to at least set their feet on the ground to spread their Spirit Sense underneath. It wouldn’t have the same range as their Spirit Sense’s maximum range, but it would be better than analyzing from midair or the sky.
The moment the Team set their soles on the grass and black-brown, fertile dirt, they visualized hundreds of thousands of ores and intricate materials ready for collection or harvest, as some were half-flora of all kinds.
“Damn, we must make some gains here. I brought a few million white coins and many records from our previous missions… Ah~, I should’ve brought more!” Cara said, making a long face, which Ruo Wei soothed by lightly palming Cara’s sternum.
It wasn’t that Cara’s white coins and history records were too little, but they were not ‘too much’ enough. With the resources littering here, it would be much cheaper than any other place.
When her teammates heard her words, they grinned. They had brought the vast majority of their currency to the mission, since they had nothing to lose. Now, they were glad of their ‘ample’ sight. They looked at Heian Ciemnosc like he was a walking treasure, but he was busy helping Grietta down Evans’s back as she behaved like a dainty lady and fell to lean on his chest immediately after.
“...SIGH~...” The Eternal Return Team shook their heads and grieved as yet another most important figure in the Faction was in Heian Ciemnosc’s hands. Cara, who knew what it was like, shook her head and looked at her superior with pity.
“Let’s rest, many taverns spoke of a few interesting things, far from here and my Spirit Sense.” Heian Ciemnosc looked at the rueful fellows and grinned before declaring. He turned towards his sleepy daughter and hugged her shoulders with his left arm, while her 2 maids followed behind.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.
The Team followed them and entered the town together. Everyone hid their faces. The Eternal Return Team might be recognized, but Anastasia and Grietta would 100% become the Universal Conveyance’s top news in under 25 minutes across the Existence if she was suddenly seen here. Thus, everyone placed hoods, coats, mantles, or veils around their heads.
Everyone except for Heian Ciemnosc. He walked up to the several dozen guards at this town’s entrance and paid a small fee of 10 white coins per person before leading the rest into the town. Grietta walked beside him, wanting to look at this Upper Kingdom’s town without much excitement. However, it became a thrilling, intriguing landscape whenever Grietta felt the overly pale, large hand slightly moving on her lower back’s skin.
“Let’s go there,” Heian Ciemnosc casually spoke before leading them towards an inn. It had a tavern on its first floor but was tranquil and decent even. They walked in and were received by a receptionist with a waiter’s uniform towards a table, before Heian Ciemnosc received a ‘ticket’ to wait for his turn at the reception desk near the bar.
The group sat in silence and chatted with their Souls as they looked around. The tavern was filled with people drinking from wine glasses and eating high-quality food. Furthermore, whenever a lone eater, male or female, finished, they were escorted upstairs by skimpy, well-dressed servants of either sex.
Before long, as Grietta and Heian Ciemnosc caressed each other’s thighs without much arousal, merely playing around. He received his ticket and walked to the reception. When Heian Ciemnosc returned, he gave each group the key card to their bedroom. Heian Ciemnosc explained before they could ask.
“Let’s go around and ask, or enjoy the place. Meet here before midnight, and if something happens, use the quickest and thinnest message through medallions.” Heian Ciemnosc helped Grietta up and looked at an excited Anastasia. Her eyes glowed as she can finally get to do girly stuff with her girlies!
Step, step… Heian Ciemnosc stepped outside the inn just as he entered, with Grietta walking beside him as he caressed her back’s skin. Behind him, the others stood up, ready to venture into the town. Anastasia and her maids remained seated at the table for half an hour extra before rushing towards the caretaker section filled with cute pets…
“... Have you found somewhere to ask already?” Grietta asked amidst a purring, lone moan as she craned her neck and hung her head backwards, leaning it from her right to the left, where Heian Ciemnosc’s shoulder was. The crowd around them sneaked glances at her, even daring to violate her outlined, perky, plump body parts with Spirit Sense.
Her cultivation base was hidden, and her aura manipulated so it seemed to be a lower Step cultivator hiding her realm out of fear. As Grietta felt those Spirit Sense fluctuations endlessly coursing through her anti-Spirit Sense clothing, she wondered what it would be like if she wore another set of clothes…
Heian Ciemnosc shook his head and grinned, reading through Grietta’s naughty side. He clasped her left hand with his right hand, suddenly appearing intimate and well-together. He neared his head to whisper to her so only she heard his words, “Elyor told you to always ask me first. That’s why you can’t sneak out as much as Tania these years to enjoy yourself and taste the Kingdom’s cuisine… And yes, I know a place now.”
“Hehe,” Grietta joyfully grinned, a nook appearing in her content, left cheek as she giggled like a dumb little girl. She smooched his overly pale right cheek before whispering back, her lips moving on his skin, “Let’s hurry, then. I can’t just use you and a few randoms to make my husband feel less guilty, right?”
“Sigh, maybe I shouldn’t have pushed you both back then… Nah, I wouldn’t be able to eat you. Let’s go,” after superficially sighing, Heian Ciemnosc spoke with a cheeky grin on his lips from corner to corner. Grietta felt her heart beat a notch heavier and stronger as she could feel something coming…
They walked for 22 minutes before arriving at an old building. Entering it, Heian Ciemnosc welcomed hundreds of steel puppets the size of a kid or pre-adolescent, with long, rectangle faces and sharp blades for forearms and hands.
Step, step… whooosh.
“Welcome,” they walked to the reception just 8 meters from the entrance, which was empty, until a gust of gray smoke swept past the other side and an old man’s voice sounded. The gray smoke rapidly dissipated to reveal a nearly bald old man with plain white hair at the sides, a mustache, and a characteristically amicable expression.
“Hey, fella, what news can you confirm me?” Heian Ciemnosc directly asked as Grietta looked around at some taller puppets. The old man didn’t move and fidgeted with a gear piece in his hands, which he lifted to his sternum.
“First, tell me what you’re looking for, or rumor types you want to know if they are true. Then, I can help you,” the old fella said. He took a hand-sized mantle from under the reception desk and cleaned the gear piece in his hands.
Heian Ciemnosc nodded before letting go of Grietta’s hand, which she then walked away to distract herself. “Heard about a place where a storm of Elements suddenly come and go without rule. Where is this place?”
“That might be interesting…” The old man narrowed his eyes. They glinted in reminiscence until he nodded to himself and positively replied, “2 Regions from here, continue southeast. There, you’ll see a dead tree. It died millions of years ago. Some said it died because of the Great Sage, others that the tree was too depressed. Either way, the 3* Region it used to live in became several 2* Regions upon its death.”
“The rumors are silly,” the old man offered, glancing past Heian Ciemnosc at Grietta whose clothes suddenly changed. He frowned slightly, but didn’t use his Spirit Sense in the end, and when he looked at Heian Ciemnosc, he saw a casual expression. The old man cleared his throat and continued, “There are strange happenings, indeed. However, these are only once every month. The Elements in distraught around that area must be turning each other so they don’t collapse.”
“Intelligent zone of Elemental particles?” Heian Ciemnosc asked, slightly furrowing his pitchest-blackest eyebrows and narrowing his overly pale eyelids. The old man nodded and was about to respond, when he looked past Heian Ciemnosc again, and found Grietta looking at him like an innocent doll… with her right index and middle fingers pulling down her white dress, revealing her right breast in the open.
“... No, it would’ve been a peak Third Step organization’s new home if that was the case.” The old man blinked before returning his gaze to Heian Ciemnosc. Meanwhile, Heian Ciemnosc was helpless at Grietta’s girly blush. She was still 40%, after all. The old man continued, as if unfazed by Grietta’s tremendous body and beauty.
“It’s more than that!” The old man seemed thrilled, “It should be a hidden space somewhere around that zone, but even peak Third Step Craftspeople couldn’t find something, sigh.”
“What about the Third Step organizations? Do they lack places or is the competition too massive?” Heian Ciemnosc immediately asked as the door opened and a slight bell sound rang. A young man entered, and Grietta, who searched on a stand with her arms up, flashed her right breast sideways at him.
Ting~ thud… thud. With the sounds of the young man losing consciousness with a bloody nose, falling backwards, and the door closing after he ‘exited’ the building, the old man shook his head, somewhat dispirited. “The Kingdom has suffered drought for the last few hundred thousand years. Many Regions can’t endure the Period-deciding wars, and many have lost their luster.”
“... Do you have any advice for finding any rumor of this caliber in town?” Heian Ciemnosc asked after falling silent for a minute. The old man patiently waiting, although he ogled at Grietta, who walked with a couple of a young, pale Elf and gentlemanly, Lion Beast, into the bathroom at the side.
“There is, but… other than treasures, that person might ask for something else if he sees your…” The old man suggested, hesitant as Grietta returned with her body intact, but the young man looked at her rear as they walked outside the bathroom, and she returned to Heian Ciemnosc while the couple left the building with the young woman content. The young man looked as if he couldn’t contain himself and wanted to eat Grietta, but couldn’t. Who knew what happened there.
“She’s my superior, and has a husband who wasn’t a husband before, who tried distancing her from him in reckless ways. That fella is the at the ‘majority’. Thanks for the tip,” Heian Ciemnosc knowingly said after a roll from his darkest eyes. Grietta smiled thinly at the old man, who made an ‘ah, yes, well…’ expression.
Seeing that, and noticing Grietta’s pity in her eyes, Heian Ciemnosc became the wingman this time, “We’ll stay here another 3 days, and when we return, we’ll make another stop here. You can schedule some free days for when we return. She’d be glad to peek into the 60%’s lifestyle.”
“Wouldn’t you?” Heian Ciemnosc turned to Grietta and said. Grietta smiled and blushed. Then, looking at the amicable oldie, she nodded with well-known lust in her eyes. The old man was flabbergasted. Just like that? How perverse!
“Mn,” Heian Ciemnosc muttered before turning around. Although he was smooth, he wasn’t used to helping someone get laid. He only had Clanton and Riquel for reference. But anyways, it’s not like Grietta would’ve needed help. Grietta followed behind him with a flurry of steps. Coming out, she hugged Heian Ciemnosc’s right arm strongly.
“Never pleased a lonely old man? I thought Elyor would’ve made you do everything for your satisfaction already,” Heian Ciemnosc said after noticing Grietta’s thunderously thumping heart. Grietta smiled deviously and shook her head, “A few times, but while they couldn’t see my face, I couldn’t see them. But they could see me whole… Sigh, being a majority’s wife of a minority is scary.”
“Elyor’s scary, he’s well-known in ‘his’ community as one of the most extreme, lucky you?” Heian Ciemnosc didn’t know what to say or do other than tease her. Grietta palmed his arm, forcing him away with her superior cultivation base.
… Before long, they walked another 30 minutes and arrived at a smallish park, where trees made everything even darker. Only 2 hours remained before midnight, so they couldn’t waste much more time outside. Heian Ciemnosc entered the park with Grietta behind him, searching for a man whose appearance was only described in the Soul message he received after Grietta returned from the bathroom.
“So, what would your deceased husband think if he knew you’ve evolved into a slutty Grietta?” Heian Ciemnosc asked as he felt a presence closer to their position. Grietta wasn’t insulted in the slightest as she responded. “Well, he would’ve been at ease.”
“Oh? You were fine with crazy stuff already?” Heian Ciemnosc asked, curious. Grietta shook her head and calmly blinked. “We were thinking about one of us forming a…little harem. It was only a thought at first, but after a little, we agreed to try with a few knowns, but only for him. Before we could plan any wedding, the 10 year war occurred. Not only my husband fell at that time…”
Grietta’s expression turned helpless and in grief.
“Since I couldn’t follow him, I had to live… I never imagined something like this, but it wasn’t outside my options, either.”
‘So, it would’ve been something similar to me… Hm, how curious.’ Heian Ciemnosc didn’t say anything else and continued walking. Finally, they saw a person after a couple of minutes.
“Came here for a word or a task?” A hooded person 50 meters before Heian Ciemnosc and Grietta rapidly said, exuding a third of blood and impregnating the air in a strand, leading towards them.
Heian Ciemnosc’s nature reading identified the young man, and the latter seemed to feel it. The notion scared him, but he quickly recovered, although he no longer treated Heian Ciemnosc and the beauty behind him, whose body was ravishing.
The young man looked in his early 20s, somewhat muscular, and reserved. Short black hair, and with a hostile nature. Grietta’s eyes flashed…
Step, step, step, step, step, step, step…
“Word,” Heian Ciemnosc stopped 4 steps before the young man and uttered. The young man nodded and looked at Grietta, but Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes focused on the young man, forcing the latter to look at Heian Ciemnosc. The young man felt as if his wrists were held down, on his sides.
Heian Ciemnosc repeated, but this time, his tone was ultimately cold. “Word.”
…
