It's... Not Over Yet
Rush! Step step step step step- creee~! Whoosh! Whooooosh~... ... whooosh.
To her front, she could see Ciemnosc rushing away towards a certain direction. And after just a few steps of his, which were very fast and in very long strides each, the snow beneath his feet became basically deep holes - a Cloudless Eagle with its wings with fewer feathers than necessary picked Ciemnosc up who then jumped onto the former's back.
Meanwhile, she was still falling down when Ciemnosc's back disappeared from her sight as the Cloudless Eagle strongly flew away at a large distance before diving down once again without any other opportunity; it seemed. He left, just like that, as if he was discovered stealing someone's phone in a room, and the thief just ran away without thinking or caring about being pursued. And indeed she was. She just looked at him without caring about her neck and still fell with the left side of her body head onto the ground.
While the Cloudless Eagle was first taking off with Ciemnosc jumping on its back, with the bodily strength he had before now seemingly not existing anymore, he was simply not striking the Cloudless Eagle with it. She herself heard as the flames from ‘their’ back had already dissipated and from them came a middle-aged man lowering his flight from the flames up in the air that was targeting Ciemnosc to take him off of her.
His crazed-like face was frowning as he hurried over to help sect master Yolin up. But even as she was helped up, her body hang limply until her body had to stand up by the laws of gravity with her body immobile. Her legs stiffened making her stand up in the end with the right side of her head against sect master Farno’s left shoulder.
His haughtiness was nowhere to be seen ever since the start of forcing Ciemnosc into a run to safety, something he seemed closer to now that… they witnessed that explosion from afar.
“Thank you, cousin.” She spoke, her words somewhat making his eyebrows jump, but it indeed seemed fine. There was pretty much no one around in this land of nobody who had lacking resources, making most villages and towns, even the most rural and small ones, far away from this location - which just so happened to lead towards the west.
“Well, I gave you your time. Aren’t you going to do anything else?” Sect master Farno asked, the overbearing from his status gone as well and he rubbed sect master Yolin’s left arm with small movements as if encouraging her. But as her pales were pale and she still did not attend to her wound with her Power Energy, she asked him instead. “Aren’t you gonna follow him? He won’t be faster than you, even with that armored car, the benefits…”
“No, I don’t have the time to chase down a little boy.” Sect master Farno answered, with sect master Yolin’s Power Energy finally moving to her neck. He of course knew that this was the answer she wanted and was hoping for, unbeknownst to herself.
“Let’s…go back now then. We’ll see if he…let’s just go.” Sect master Yolin spoke to him while touching the left side of her neck before following with the right side of her neck. She didn’t take a pill out of her Covert Space bag to recuperate faster and simply called over a flying swan that was far away, with another swan following after it and both moving towards them.
She seemed unwilling to speak of even the still ongoing hunt… for just a boy, her boy perhaps? But in any case, sect master Farno still had to ask, as he was written with ‘doubts’ all over his face. “Why didn’t you strike back? He was right there against you, and why did he even bite open your neck? I didn’t even see him throwing off that piec-”
“Enough, that’s tiring. Let’s see how it is going back there. Those old geezers can’t die when they have such tools and armor protecting them. Let’s go let’s go.” Without caring about her voice or her demeanor, she directly flew up to her own swan and turned it around. The swan begged for caressing, and after knowing its owner was fine, it then took flight and zoomed into the distance; slowly. Sect master Farno could only follow after her.

More than a hundred kilometers away, on a snowy path that was semi close to the melted path made by that burst of hot air.
“Okay, come here, I’m gonna take care of you…” Ciemnosc said as he dragged his feet on the snow, there was a bit of snow falling down at these moments, but that only meant it would get worse soon with the coming night, or even the afternoon itself, not needing to wait until there was a deep blue, dark sky.
Creeee… The Cloudless Eagle delightfully looked at the safe and sound Ciemnosc, whom it was worried might’ve gotten hurt, maybe even deathly injured by that other Obsidiafying realm monster. It was still sorrowful though its brown eyes were seemingly red and tired, and its eyelids darkened over the previous events, it looked at Ciemnosc one last time with its eyes open before calmly closing them right before Ciemnosc stored them in his Covert Space bag that was completely free of any other object and it who was… without an owner now.
“I’m sorry, little bird, I don’t know as well…” Right after storing it inside the clean and empty Cover Space bag, Ciemnosc fell on his bum, he could feel a very strong bout of Power Energy wreaking around within his body, yet it was incomparable with his own Power Energy, or even just his blood flow was enough to easily counter such Power Energy within his frail body.
However, as he sat down, he began crossing his legs and took out a corpse from his Covert Space bags, it had its pale-blonde hair cut off, and the filth was starting to be removed from her body and within it by a dark Power Energy as soon as it came out.
Studying the Power Energy within him, not that he needed to, Ciemnosc comprehended a little thing. His strength, right now, had a certain… ‘similarity’ to an Obsidiafying realm cultivator’s Power Energy, be it his physical advantage, his overly crazy body within, and the strange sensation of his whole being along with his Spirit Sense… Did he seem to be as powerful as an Obsidiafying realm cultivator at the 1st stage?
This truly shocked him! It was already enthralling to know he was crossing over a whole realm to fight much older and battle-hardened enemies, killing them as long as they weren’t an entire realm above him easily and taking quite some work to deal with one whole realm above him - it now seemed as if he really was crossing 2 whole damn realms!
If that was the truth, then it was no wonder; of course, that he easily overpowered Pu Lianter, who used all of her Power Energy to strike him with her hammer’s one swing. But it was also more explanatory as to why Ciemnosc was able to survive a strike against a peak powerhouse of the Obsidiafying realm like the grand ancestor Xing Kei who might as well be dead now.
And now that he was one with their Natal Spirit no longer a simple thought and had actually taken shape, so as to say he was even cultivating in a brand new way. Previously, he may have been able to absorb the Phrenic realm and Spirit Gathering realm cultivator’s Power Energy by tiny amounts, and even less of such for those of lower cultivation base at the Phrenic realm.
But now, just as he had eaten Risgash’s body whole and his Power Energy had become a huge surplus of Power Energy was gained by his body, and it was being eaten away with simple delicacy. But that was when he was still in the Phrenic realm. Now that he was at the Spirit Gathering realm and his work had to naturally be that of feeding his Natal Spirit, which would still be hidden to others but not to Ciemnosc.

So not only would Ciemnosc’s Spirit Gathering realm cultivation be simply easier than any other’s, but it would also be much easier for him to gather Power Energy and feed it into his Natal Spirit if he were to eat other Conflagrate realm cultivators while Spirit Gathering realm cultivators might not give him enough for it to be considered a ‘tiny’ amount even if he ate thousands of them.
Ciemnosc might, very well, manage to feed his dark Power Energy much faster than others and in many more ways by just devouring living beings! Only… according to the records that Valeria gave him… Ciemnosc’s Natal Spirit was one of those that had to need a lot of Power Energy for that matter, as there could be those who would go fast through the Spirit Gathering realm’s stages and others who would take a lot of Power Energy instead.
Of course, he didn’t know that the amount required for such was only between several Inferior grade Powerful Stone to up to a dozen or a couple more than that in-between small amounts and large amounts needed for each stage in the Spirit Gathering realm, which would only grow more than double with each stage.
Inferior graded Powerful Stones, not Supreme graded Powerful Stones. And so, Ciemnosc first elaborated the Power Energy within his body into his Power Energy, dark Power Energy.
It wasn’t difficult, he could still instantly make any bit of Power Energy into his, but Yolin’s Power Energy was too powerful and by far the largest amount he had ever needed in his whole life. It was incredibly thick and dense. While also having a seemingly endless amount that his body was constantly absorbing to his current cultivation base’s capabilities.
… After sitting cross-legged for about a quarter of an hour, he opened his eyes, and with his smile forming a tired, slight smile; he looked up at his commanding vehicle and walked into it while dragging Pu Lianter’s corpse into it as well.
‘I need so much, but I am already cultivating this fast! My All-Devouring Force Chronicles… Did it evolve? Upgrade? Improve? Hm…. it went from… its first level to its second level, perhaps?’ Ciemnosc thought as he entered his large armored car and took a seat on the driver’s seat, Pu Lianter lying on his lap as he started his large armored car and began driving.
Even though he was driving now, Ciemnosc was still focusing on the Power Energy that Yolin ‘gifted’ him, not only granting him the foundation of an extremely, utmost, and impossibly solid foundation but also an incredibly stupid amount of Power Energy to boot. Because… even though he was now at the 2nd stage of the Spirit Gathering realm, there was still a bit more left of that Power Energy from an Obsidiafying realm cultivator like sect master Yolin!
When he indeed entered the 2nd stage of the Spirit Gathering realm, though Ciemnosc was to feed his Natal Spirit, he of course had to refine some pure energy for himself; in this case: Yolin’s Power Energy.
Yet, as he stepped into the 2nd stage, his body’s dark Power Energy showed signs of increasing a bit more than double. While his body noticeably changed from red blood to black blood once again when he broke through, but only for a few seconds and like a firefly calling in a mate before going back to ‘normal’. Though, to Ciemnosc, to be fair - his ‘normal’ didn’t seem like what he is.
Now that there was still some more left from Yolin’s Power Energy, Ciemnosc decided to use it in order to solidify his cultivation and his one-day, two breakthroughs impossible feat.
So, did this mean he could now clap the shit out of Obsidiafying realm 1st stage cultivators? And fight to the death against 2nd stage cultivators of that same realm?
Ciemnosc couldn’t even feel bothered to try and keep his excitement down. He directly smiled… as he began to take the right side of Pu Lianter’s body into his mouth; between his teeth. Though he was starting to solidify his cultivation base, he just couldn’t help himself. She was also pretty delicious. Much more delicious than Risgash and had slightly more Power Energy than him too.
And with his left hand on the wheel, as he enjoyed his meal, Ciemnosc looked at the road ahead, then at the ‘food’, then at his surroundings within his commanding vehicle and repeating, his eyes were sweaty. He also constantly sent his Spirit Sense into his Covert Space bags to his Identification Token.
Ciemnosc was, however, driving towards the settlement where the Preferential Light Justice Sect was. According to his previous tweaking around the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect sect’s territory, they had all given the notice to entrap Ciemnosc towards the lower southern side of the roads that led to the Little Lake’s most shallow waters.
So, since everyone was moving towards the south, he would move north and… accompany the Preferential Light Justice Sect’s encampment. After all, who in the world could stop him now, now that he had managed to ascend into a battle prowess he was sure even the most mysterious people he had found early on in his journey and life could ever know of.
Conflagrate realm? He really wanted to witness their prowess before eating them all! Obsidiafying realm cultivators wouldn’t be present, but their Power Energy was naturally different; not in a sense of obviousness, but that its change from realm to realm came from its nature itself. It was just boundlessly more majestic than a Conflagrate realm’s Power Energy.
After all, to break through to the Conflagrate realm from the Spirit Gathering realm, one had to feed their Natal Spirit full, which was until the 10th stage, before undergoing a procedure that would end up allowing them to employ deadly techniques with their Power Energy alone, no longer depending on any tool or weapons - equipment.
It was for a ‘long’ enough distance as well allowing those in the Conflagrate realm no longer dependent on their weapons to attack those below their own realm or stage even. Pu Lianter coming at him was normal and it was okay. After all, even if he was at the Spirit Gathering realm 1st stage and it was him, he should’ve only been able to go all out with someone ‘just’ a whole realm above himself and not two… It didn’t go well for her not because she was dumb and stupid, gullible, but because she was dealing with the unpredictable nature of Ciemnosc.
Yet, to break through from the Conflagrate realm to the Obsidiafying realm: one not only had to somewhat repeat that needed action to break through into the former, which was already painful enough to make some fail it and die from the pain itself or because of somewhere around their cultivation they became practically erroneous and at the time of breaking through that error in their cultivation flared up to end up killing them off, or they just fucked up when breaking through.
But they also needed to do similar actions to the rest of their bodies, not entirely, but still. Only after completing those even more painful, and several in number at the same time, torments would they be able to become an Obsidiafying realm cultivator.
‘For all they did to us…’ Ciemnosc’s eyes dropped a hellish low, his tiredness now showing as bags formed below his eyes and he munched slower and slower until he had the still somewhat fresh meat in his mouth in between his teeth remaining still. ‘I will… make them pay, all of them. I vow myself to it… even if you would rather me not doing so.’
Gulp!
Ciemnosc said, before closing his eyes and gulping down that large amount of flesh with some blood acting as juice. Then he left the path he was taking as the melted path that used to be full of snow just half an hour ago had already been left behind - his commanding vehicle took a 120 degree turn towards the north and began to crazily speed up to a maximum.
While the commanding vehicle was going all out, the right side of his body quickly healed up, already becoming woundless and the blood that was similar to someone else not being cleaned up by his dark Power Energy began to be absorbed back into his body while it was healing and closing up on its own.
Ciemnosc was resting his head back onto the arm’s head cushion, which an 11 years old boy shouldn’t have been able to reach, but so should a boy have never need to protect their lives; to eat meat, even from humanoids; to be… betrayed and pretended to be used like that. And so should a boy have had not to endure the hard choices of others, also impacting his life.
Drip.
A tear fell on the floor of his seat, and Ciemnosc kept on eating while looking at the blue sky beginning to darken - into a deep blue dark sky like the one he saw in his very first moments alive.
“Veery, um, yummy… yummy, nom nom nom… mfff~...”
Slowly, as tens of thousands of sect disciples and believers moved towards the south of the roads leading to the most shallow waters of the Little Lake, as the outposts and the stronghold were awfully silent in return, and as a single armored vehicle made its way through the snow. The world became obscure all around but darker and somber above the skies of the most powerful Region in the entire world.
Little by little, the boy ate. Little by little, he neared the encampment where the boy could only envision it becoming awfully bloody and bursting in flames all over the place. Though the latter might not happen, ever. He could very easily make the former a reality. And one that he will enjoy to his heart’s content with nothing nor anything capable of stopping him!!
