Glorious Victory Day
"But! He has just flown! FLOWN! We can take him down, can't we?! He's all alone! Alone!!" Blauw Monstorm continued to rage, ignoring his sister's hands on his shoulders and arms, trying to calm him down somewhat. The cloaked man looked at him calmly and opened his mouth to speak again. "Calm down, dear Brother. As I've already said, there's much to do. The Blauw Empire attacking and starting this war is for the best. You might have lost most of your Fleet and sea territory, but… once this is over, their Empire will recognize us as their rulers! Don't you see that? Don't you think of that? Retaking what the past took from your people? From you?!"
"..." Blauw Monstorm looked down while in midair and fell silent. His sister calmed down slightly and also looked down, thinking of those words that hit straight into her honor and pride. Seeing their reactions, the cloaked man nodded and continued, "Now, go to the Blue Emirate Grotto's individual territory. Everyone is going there... The Green Emirate Grotto says they fear another surprise attack and can only retreat for their safety, while the Sand Emirate Grotto wants to return inland. Meanwhile, the Blue Emirate Grotto faces movement from the Feathered Valley Pavilion and the Clashing Dust Cult. Do you understand? Go back and reunite with the rest. Think of something. I'll try seeing if I can bring some good friends over."
“Yes, Brother. I… sigh,” Blauw Monstorm recuperated and looked up but lowered his head again after thinking of what had happened. The idea of suddenly owning rights to the Empire that had recently formed but was much stronger than anything he and his people had accomplished… it was tempting, at the very least. Blauw Bristorm nodded with her brother and added, “We will return. But, Brother, can you… keep that kid’ life for us? We would like to take it!”
“Such conviction…” The cloaked man looked at the siblings with determined eyes and praised them. A few seconds later, he nodded and gestured at them elegantly with a slow swing of his left arm. “Surely. That is no problem. When the time comes to lure them out or to simply kill them if I get bored, I’ll let you guys have your revenge back. That Leading Student won’t have a way out, and his death will be rightful. The Academy won’t look into this.”
“Thank you, Brother,” Blauw Monstorm said again, clasped his hands, and bowed at the cloaked man, followed by his sister. The siblings and sworn brother chatted for a while before the latter left first, followed by the former, who flew in a different direction. Their Fighter was destroyed by an LBFD rocket launcher before, so they could only return like this. However, some upper echelons and higher-ups managed to survive, at least.
… On the other hand, Heian Ciemnosc did not give importance to the ‘sudden’ discovery of the enemy’s dealings. The Ornament flew without stop, reaching the Sand Emirate Grotto’s territory in no time after entering the inland territory of the Region and passing over many scaredy cats dragging their boats away from the shore. Some had shrapnel penetrated into their bodies, while others bled either a lot or a little.
Whoosh, whoosh! Beep beep! Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes were kept ahead as his Spirit Sense allowed him utmost tranquility. Suddenly, Fighters from the Grotto’s individual territory flew over towards him. Heian Ciemnosc could see these were brand new and must’ve come with the fleet the top 5 organizations started buying in the Universal Conveyance market these past couple years. He didn’t give them any heed until his Ornament detected missiles and machine guns aimed at him.
“...” With the raise of his right eyebrow, Heian Ciemnosc’s Spirit Sense commanded his Ornament to pass between the 2 enemy Fighters without attacking. When he received ‘advice’ from both Fighters. “Assigned supervisor! With all due respect! Pipe down and turn around! Otherwise, you will be attacked!” - “You think we will let you do as you please? After massacring the innocent?! You will die here, little black monster!!”
Pshift~- pshift~- Bang! Bang! When Heian Ciemnosc’s Ornament went in between, he lifted his left and right hand consecutively, in that order. They expelled light traces of dark Neutral Energy, and as they flew out of his Ornament as if it didn’t exist, through its cabin’s window, it immediately flew to the sides at the enemy Fighters. When the enemy realized he was ignoring them and wanted to fly their Fighters and give chase, they suddenly found their Fighters immobile. And just 3 seconds later, they exploded in a mass of black flames that rose from their systems and storage.
Peeeeeew~. Heian Ciemnosc kept flying towards the Grotto’s individual territory, passing through its territory’s settlements and ecosystem, finding it to be quite decent. He could always do a quick inspection or let it linger and see the daily lives of everyone, but that would waste too much time, so he left his Spirit Sense to detailing only the influential matters and strange happenings. Either way, his cultivation didn’t allow him to go through the boredom of seeing millions of the peoples’ lives at once.
The inhabitants looked up and wondered why such a strange, uniquely looking Fighter appeared in their skies after hearing scary noises from the sea. However, only citizens or cultivators were related to such momentous things, so they ignored it after being marveled for a full minute. Their daily lives continued, and they ignored all matters that had no relation to them.
Heian Ciemnosc continued flying for a couple minutes before arriving at the individual territory of the Sand Emirate Grotto. He had deactivated his smallish engine before entering inland, and after arriving at said individual territory, he rapidly flew towards its activated protective array formations’ barriers. Just when he was about to crash into it, a hole was opened, and his Fighter immediately flew to their central building.
Fwushhh- piaah~. Heian Ciemnosc’s Ornament landed on the ground, with every disciple looking at him from afar, not daring to come close to him in a kilometer’s radius. On the other hand, some trembling higher-ups were making a pathway for him into their most valuable building, lowering their heads as if Heian Ciemnosc would eat them if they didn’t. Heian Ciemnosc silently ignored everything and everyone. He walked to the central building and entered it.
… Step, step, step, step. Toc, toc.
“??” - “?...” - “?” Just as everyone inside a meeting hall was waiting for Heian Ciemnosc’s presence. When they heard his footsteps and straightened their already spear-like backs, instead of the doors opening, they listened to a knock. The Grotto’s hierarchy looked at each other in dismay, not knowing if this incredible enemy was at their door… or someone else! It couldn’t be him, right? It had to be someone else who flew in his Ornament.
Creaaak- step, step, step- thud. Heian Ciemnosc, the pervertedly handsome fella, opened the doors with a crack and rapidly entered it. After stepping inside, he immediately turned around and closed the doors quietly, not leaving much sound to be heard during the process. Done with his antics, he looked at the crowd and smiled politely. “Forgive me, ah. I had to prepare so many things before coming here. I actually wanted to come here since long ago. I just had to be sure you were prepared.”
“...?” The crowd was once again left astounded, but they found it challenging to start the talk with Heian Ciemnosc since their leading figures were not here. Heian Ciemnosc smiled big time before placing his hands behind his lower back and walking to the center of their meeting hall with long, playful, paused steps. Each of those steps was irking and gnawing at the people present, making them feel like he was stepping on their faces.
However, just the same, the atmosphere became heavier and tenser with each step. Especially so after Heian Ciemnosc spoke those words. It wasn’t until Heian Ciemnosc was about to walk into the center that a person wearing a long pale purple garment stood up and declared, his right index finger pointing at the pale young man with a dark coat on. “You had no right to wedge war on us! You are nothing in this Region! It is OUR Reg-”
Slam! “SHUT UP!!” Another pale purple clothed elder stood up, slamming the ground before him with a bout of Neutral Energy. He looked at the previous person with raging eyes and sneaked glances at Heian Ciemnosc to see his reaction but only saw the latter frown at the former as if an adult was looking at a fatherless child. He wore a pale purple robe and seemed to hold a lot of prestige among his people as they all looked at him and admonished at the other with their gazes. Heian Ciemnosc crossed his arms and directed his disapproving frown at the second person to stand up from his comfortable seat.

“Respected Sir, Heian Ciemnosc of the Wrath Nihility Academy,” the elderly Grotto Instructor hid his hands within his pale purple sleeves and bowed his head before lifting it and addressing Heian Ciemnosc with an innately respectful attitude. “Forgive this fool, it won’t happen again. What would you like to discuss? Let’s not go around in circles. We respect each other. We should speak frankly, don’t you agree?”
“Alright, enough with the farts,” Heian Ciemnosc said. He unfolded his arms and gestured with his right pale arm in a dismissive manner while tilting his head like a bothered teenager getting obnoxious. His actions gained a little more irk from the crowd, whose eyes and cheeks twitched in response. Then, he said with a calm tone, sounding a little cold, and as he spun on the spot to look at everyone. “I did not come here to talk, so just listen. Right now, you can decide to surrender to the Blauw Empire… Any other time, it won’t be the same, and the power you hold now will never return, becoming the Empire’s slaves if you wish to surrender later on.”
“Decide it now or later, or never. It’s your choice. There are no second chances,” Heian Ciemnosc finished his brief speech by crossing his arms and stopping spinning around, coincidentally finishing by looking at the elderly Grotto Instructor with the most prestige around. The meeting hall fell silent, of course. Nobody responded for over a minute.
Heian Ciemnosc suddenly hung his head to the right, and this served as a signal, as the elderly Grotto Instructor started sweating bullets around his forehead before receiving nods and glares from his fellow upper echelons. “Esteemed assigned supervisor, although we would like to think… ponder about this some more, and we would like to join the Empire, our Grotto follows every other tradition. Our organization’s rules and decisions are decided by at least the Vice head, but not even he is here. I’m afraid none of this can be decided at the moment. Do you mind coming back later?”
“Just remember I did come…” Heian Ciemnosc unfolded his arms, unbothered by the attitude, and lackadaisically walked out of the meeting hall, similar to how he walked into its center. He opened the doors a little and took a step outside with his right foot, but before taking another with his left foot, he turned his head backwards and lightly said. “I left you a gift outside. I hope you like it. I just figured out it would be the best gift towards… towards those who like to help… oh.”
Thud~. Heian Ciemnosc closed the door after stepping outside and nodding to himself in reaffirmation. The upper echelons in the meeting hall were left confused. They looked at each other as if to ask if they knew about it, but obviously did not. After they heard Heian Ciemnosc’s Fighter fly away without using the smallish engine, they all rushed out when they sensed a strangely anti-Spirit Sense-covered monument outside the central building’s entrance.
Step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step.
“!!!” When the upper echelons arrived at the gates and opened them to directly look at the 100 meters long, exposition before them with small arms aiming at the sky with an open hand, cleanly detached from their bodies, and with the same emblem at the side, the Grotto’s upper echelons felt their minds buzzing. One of them suddenly said, “Don’t these… look and feel familiar? Their emblems are all from the True Dragon House…”
Everyone agreed with those words, and as they dismantled the feeble array formation veil covering it, they used their Spirit Sense to read through those small arms. Immediately, one by one, they fell silent, became pale, and their eyes lost hope. That was because… they could still remember who these arms’ owners were and whose children they were. They were all the younger generation, from 15 years old or lower, and from every True Dragon House’s upper echelon.
“...!” There were hundreds of arms, each with their own little space with their open hands aiming at the sky and their emblem close to the part they were detached from. But when they inspected it closely, they noticed those fingers were stiff, and some were crooked, having struggled and suffered in life before ultimately failing to survive whatever happened to them. The message was… simple.
. . .
A few hours passed, and the day was coming to an end. The evening was already looming over the world, with the suns disappearing, and the cold of the night, originating from the wide universe, seeped into the Kingdom, showering it with Elemental poisoning that turned into extra particles for that Kingdom. Atop the Palace, Heian Ciemnosc contemplated the long night sky.
Whistleee~. The wind blew and whistled through his medium-length, pitchest-blackest hair as he looked ahead at the endless blackness. His knees were up against his chin, and he hugged them while covering his mouth. His expression was smooth, serene, lovable… but ultimately cold and lifeless. He was simply irresistible and enchanting. His natural looks were so innately seductive and soul-stealing that it didn’t make sense.
‘Hum… this is what it feels like to be alone, huh? Right…’ Heian Ciemnosc thought. He slowly separated his right pale hand from the self-hug and showed his dark blood essence in his palm. He played with it, letting it roll back and forth like a marble before returning to hug his knees. However, he now supported his chin on his forearms and kept looking at the far-ahead night sky. His back seemed lonely and slightly bent, and his child-like behavior struck one’s heart with desolation.
… Step, step, step, step. Behind him, a beauty wearing a celeste, azure bodycon dress with obscure azure ribbons attached to it, flying around her like tentacles of darkness. She came and leaned on Heian Ciemnosc’s hunched back, which slowly straightened under her touch. Then, she felt her body carrier upwards as her legs were about to support it when Heian Ciemnosc turned around and held her, letting her fully support her body on him with her legs going jelly.
“Missed me?” His soft, calm, quiet voice reached her ears. Shuna didn’t have any other choice but to look up at her man, who held his woman and allowed her to relax after a long period of time, feeling only restlessness in her home. The corners of her damnably luscious mouth separated as they twisted upwards, and her bell-like smooth voice sounded, “Well, my man has been alone for a few hours already. How can his woman not care?”
Rustle, rustle~. “The ‘kids’ have already named this day. What will you do?” Shuna stood up, grabbed the back of his hands, and turned around as she made them hug her stomach after passing them down from her breasts. Her motions were regularly paced, but she carried ample charm, sending soft waves into Heian Ciemnosc’s brain. When he finally woke up, his entire frontal body was against her whole back body.
“What have they named it?” Heian Ciemnosc asked. His voice made her inadvertently smile. She turned around, kissed his neck and collarbone, and then opened his right palm to reveal his dark blood essence before looking up at her tall man. “Glorious Victory day. Baptized by a strange-sounding cry from the soldier units, their call for… unprecedented joy? Hehe, even I was surprised.”
“Mn, not bad. If it was Ishikyy, she would’ve named it after you or something,” Heian Ciemnosc said, letting her see his dark blood essence as if it was just a stone he found on the beach. The Empress was but a woman before her man with nobody else looking. It wasn’t that they feared public retribution, but the fewer people thought of them as close, the more she and the Empire will be safe after he fucks life up in the future and he had turned away from the Wrath Nihility Academy’s… warm and comprehensive hands.
“It’s the story of history in this little part of the world.” Shuna softly said, pecking her beloved man right after, leaving their lips’ meat dragging each other. When she departed, her eyes slowly opened in unison with Heian Ciemnosc’s. Mirth thrilled within hers while Heian Ciemnosc looked at her as if she was the top-notch precious treasure in all that exists and there is. There was no doubt that those two found beyond the word ‘liking’ could ever mean.
“It’s just the beginning,” Heian Ciemnosc calmly and quietly said, “the First Admiral has already returned to the fortified islands, but they can handle holding a defensive position on their own for a while. The Third fleet is in its making, but the terrestrial vehicles are all ready. Yet lack a place to train. Which territory do you want first?”
“Mnn, let’s reunite the Bloodline first. It’s the most vital event in our history,” Shuna answered rapidly, savoring her lips that tasted of Heian Ciemnosc. Heian Ciemnosc nodded and emitted a soundless ‘oh’ before kissing her forehead. Shuna smirked as his hands tugged her dress up, letting his hands wander on the small buttocks that had been driving him crazy every night and morning. She licked his lips like a cat, trying to be likable and cute before taking bites and suckling his pale red lips beyond her rows of teeth.
“Show me, I wanna try it with your people’s Bloodline first,” Heian Ciemnosc let his hands amass the small amount of meat down there for a little longer before begrudgingly taking them off and showing her his right pale palm. Shuna looked down at it before gradually protruding from her without thinking twice, letting a bluish, pearl-like, completely liquid aquamarine, azure blood essence drop on his palm.
Swiiizzzz- shhheesshh~ pshashh- twingl~~~~~~...
The pair of blood essence drops were drawn to each other slightly. They clashed against each other and were like marbles, moving to the sides after colliding. They began dancing around, following each other around, and changing roles from chasing to being chased a few times in under a few seconds. They were fast and agile but didn’t mix one bit. When Shuna saw they weren’t compatible in the slightest, she tilted her head to the left and put the right side of her forehead on the right side of his face.
“We’re not related in the slightest… but.” - “!” Shuna wasn’t saddened by this, but when he heard his final ‘but’ at the end of his words, she looked at his darkest eyes interestingly and with shining, strongly determined, aquamarine, azure eyes. However, he was looking down, so she followed his gaze and stared at the two drops of blood essence in his palm again. Then, he softly and quietly said, “There’s a strange familiarity between us.”
