Chapter 328 — Their Big Boss Is Just A Nicer Meal

Their Big Boss Is Just A Nicer Meal

"Oh. Hmm, I will show you something pretty fun," Heian Ciemnosc said. His words didn't shake the now tranquil teachers, Educators, Ancestors, and the 2 Retired Ancestors. With a fake smile, he took a step forward with his right foot, but that was when one of the Retired Ancestors expressed his thoughts. "Fun? Hohohahaha! Are you going crazy on us now? You have been running for too long. Did you get tired? And what the hell do you think can surp-"

"I wasn't talking to you two." Heian Ciemnosc lowered his chin and looked straight at the Retired Ancestor who spoke. The Retired Ancestors knew nothing was happening. There was only silence, but it was ‘that’ silence that attracted their eyes underground, as if 'something' was squirming below. However, before they could even think about what it could be beneath their feet, an actual sound widened their eyes by its momentum.

Bowwbooumb…

A cloud of darkness blinded their eyes, senses, rationality, and Spirit Sense. Nothing was visible as pure blackness consumed them, engulfing them in an everlasting, eternal lack of all life, thought, and creation. Or at least it was so for everyone around them as they blinked once. They were in the middle of darkness. But when they blinked again, they were back to the darkness of the starry night sky and standing with each other to face off a devil.

“AAH!” Suddenly, a startled, heart-stirring, and shocking howl echoed everywhere. The teachers and Educators, along with even the Ancestors, looked to where the sound came from. They weren’t using their Spirit Sense after coming out of the ‘dark world’ that destroyed all reality they could think of, thus didn’t notice the change right away. But those closest to the Retired Ancestors saw it first-hand.

Ckrsheeeeeerrrrr, ckrsheerr. “Oh. Ahh~, there we go. A good meal, mhm.” Heian Ciemnosc appeared on the shoulders of both Retired Ancestors. Their corpses were headless, of course. They were placed back to back, and Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes were slightly ‘bigger’ regarding his pupils and irises, slowly becoming as ‘standard’ as before under the terrified eyes of the crowd. And as the last vestiges of darkness left his sclera, returning to his pupils and irises, Heian Ciemnosc picked the remaining head and spine from one of the Retired Ancestors.

Lifting it above his head and using the starlight as his study table, he inspected the head and said with a face full of amusement. “So ugly, will have to take everything out, but you had a good enough Spirit Sense potential. Oh well, I can’t waste any food, can I~?”

“... aau…. AAAAH!” A Great Teacher watching couldn’t hold it in anymore, muttering like a retard before sobbing out loud as if he was the one headless and chatting with his ‘cannibalistic’ murderer. Heian Ciemnosc looked at him with a tilt of his head and immediately impulsed himself, kicking his feet against the headless corpses and effectively storing them as soon as he was impulsed.

Whoosh- Phhshk! Crreeshhk, crreeshhk, crreeshhk. Heian Ciemnosc tackled him from behind, his waist bending like a piece of paper backwards, his vertebral column broken at once, and his eyes almost exploding in his skull. Heian Ciemnosc then began cutting his body like a hairstyle with scissors, drafting pieces of flesh with such finesse and quality it made many teachers feel as unstable as the one on the ground, slowly dying with his body separated bit by bit.

“... Haahh~,” Heian Ciemnosc stopped playing around, his dark claws devoid of any blood as it was all consumed as soon as they were drenched. He looked around himself, and seeing the terror in everyone’s eyes, he smiled before saying with a calm, soft, and quiet voice. His tone was terrifyingly seductive, charismatic, and soulstealer. “Let’s begin. Come, and I will give you a quick death, depending on how foul you smell. Don’t face me, and you’ll be to your luck.”

“... Graaaaaah!” - “Wauaaaaah!” - “Hyaaaaaaa…!”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc looked at the seemingly convinced and entranced ‘warriors’ as he kept evaporating the sweat off his body as soon as it came out of his skin. His Spirit Sense didn’t shield his body and was perpetually in alarm. He wasn’t planning on letting anyone sneak attack him. Much less a potent Crabstynian realm 3rd stage comes nearby, which could practically mean his death.

… … … … brukff brukff brukff…! Phhshk, phhshk, phhshk, phhshk, phhshk, phhshk… Pshift, pshift, pshift, pshift, pshift… buum bam bom bom…!

Heian Ciemnosc lightly smiled, the corners of his mouth arched in a scary manner. Suddenly, that absurdly creepy, unwelcoming, and unsettling silence emanated beneath the ground. It had returned. But only the Crabstynian realm 1st stage cultivators present could feel it. Even as they floated up into the air to evade whatever sensations, it didn’t work, and they didn’t feel safe.

What happened next ‘explained’ to them why it was so…

The ground opened as they felt their stomachs rumbling and revolting as if dismayed. From below, dozens of strange Power Energy limbs raised to the occasion, entrapping any body around and pulling them into the air before crushing them against the ground, each other, or directly thrown to Heian Ciemnosc for a midnight snack. The Vocón Link’s extensions with his dark Power Energy penetrated through the chests of many before hooking a body and playing with it.

There were far too many enemies, stronger than before, than when Heian Ciemnosc first went on his mission to help Evans cultivate faster and more efficiently. Even as many corpses turned into dried carcasses, Heian Ciemnosc was still in danger as many Great Teachers, Educators, and Ancestors evaded, tanked, or fought off his dark Power Energy and approached closer and closer to him.

While they wished to instill fear in Heian Ciemnosc’s heart, his body was instead pumping with excitement as his breathing became ragged. With an extra smirk forming at the corners of his mouth, Heian Ciemnosc raised his Claws Out, and his fangs peeked in between. His left foot had to remain attached to the floor, so he would take many hits of all kinds as he kept the mass-killing and the one-by-one killing with his dark Power Energy and his Claws Out.

. . .

Half an hour later, west of the School of Dancing Flowers’ territory.

Pshift, bam pam- balam boom boom… In the sky, flashes went off, figures moved, and bodies became corpses one after the other, each one belonging to the School and not any of the invaders. It all painted the sky from time to time, letting the students in the north, the only safe place, see everything and even how their higher-ups fell one after the other, helplessly. But below, where the students in the north couldn’t catch, it was all flames, carbonized and scrambled remains of what was once their organization. Their first organization, for some, their home.

“Heyy, goddammit! There’s still half of them! Where-” Victor hollered while beastly clashing Mortal blades against a Retired Ancestor. This one was old and tall but currently bloodied, with many gaping injuries, allowing anyone to peek into his body. Still, from the dozens of Retired Ancestors of the School of Dancing Flowers he has killed, this one was a tenacious old fucker.

The trio had a much higher cultivation base than these teachers and ancestors. Their Power Energy reserves were something the School of Dancing Flowers’ higher-ups could not ignore. The quality and prowess might be limited to the 2nd stage. But their overly knowledgeable weaknesses and strengths as cultivators in the mid stages of the Crabstyninan realm, and effortlessly slaughtering those of equal cultivation base every minute.

At this moment, Victor was just plunging one of his hidden weapons into the Retired Ancestor’s stomach as his Mortal blade sliced its tip through the enemy’s left arm, forming a gruesome line of dark red and white here and there. Just as he was imploring Violet to contact him again, which she refused to do after doing it only once, and still fighting with her fists and gauntlets like motherfucking goddess, they were overwhelmed by a sound new to their dictionaries and life.

Bowwbooumb…

“!” - “!!” - “!!!” In an instant, a layered screen of darkness engulfed everything. It made the dark night sky look like the sun used to be scalding their skin just a moment ago. The range of that darkness was thousands of meters long, up and down and left and right. It was an astonishing sight, but by the time their eyes widened and their irises shrunk, it was already dissipated, and they could see the ‘light’ again.

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter, pitter-patter, pitter-patter, pitter-patter, pitter-patter! Bugsh, bugsh bugsh bugsh…

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

“Ahh- hahh, cough.” Heian Ciemnosc’s body appeared before his team’s members, floating in the sky and holding the hearty organ of one of the youngest 2nd stage cultivator at the Crabstynian realm. After taking several breaths, he repeatedly chewed until only a mushed liquid of blood and heart remained as he gulped it down.

“Gulp, bwuaah…” Heian Ciemnosc then looked at his team members. His body and its injuries couldn’t be any clearer. His left shoulder was caved open, possibly by either sabers or axes. Blood wasn’t coming from those wounds, but his clothes were drenched with wet, dark blood. His legs had so many slashes that seeing some of his bones wasn’t rare, and his face had a few scars indicating he was healing beneath his skin.

His chest and back had so many cuts, stabs and bruises it was entirely useless to keep looking to find out how many there were. Only after seeing their team leader did they process everything that happened. Looking at the ground, they noticed the flames and scrambled remains were wet and red with blood and flesh, decorated with bones and organ tissue.

Some blood was still raining down the western section, but they couldn’t tell how or what the in the fucking hell happened. Looking back at their team leader, Violet spoke first as she concernedly asked, “Team leader, are you alright? We didn’t know if you’ll… come here in the end.”

“Mm, it’s okay. Those old farts just kept coming to my side. It was a lot of fun.” Heian Ciemnosc looked at Violet before glancing at Victor, saying in a casual mood as he returned his gaze to Violet. “And some seemed a bit hasty, so I came here first. Now, I will go to the east. Here is over, but there are a few more still alive. I just didn’t want to exert myself. Deal with it first.”

Whoosh… As soon as Heian Ciemnosc was finished speaking, he turned around, gave his order after glancing at Violet, and floated at maximum speed to the east. As he did, he breathed out slightly, sweat engulfing his body as he let it wet his skin and hair. Meanwhile, a few cuts on his left shoulder, back, and stomach closed an extra tad. None of this was in their sight. And Heian Ciemnosc successfully completed his show of might, began to have that headache, and only needed to help wrap this mission up.

“... Cut the remaining grass. We are going south after finishing!” Violet looked silently in the direction where their team leader departed and ordered, shouting in a loud voice that compelled the bloodlust and heavily breathing Oleg and the eyes-shining, calm Victor nodded in compliance. Afterwards, they floated around, scanning and killing off any remaining enemy. They didn’t store them as they didn’t see Heian Ciemnosc do it, nor did he ask them.

When they were done with the west, they rushed to the south, where a moonlight shining so bright it hurt one’s eyes even from tens of kilometers away. There, blood occasionally flashed, painting the sky with streams of gore and death. That’s where they were heading head first, with Violet leading the way into the moonlight… Soon after, it dimmed down, and 4 figures floated onwards to the east…

… Several minutes after Heian Ciemnosc left the west, and crossed the blood-reeking center of the School of Dancing Flowers’ territory, and noticed the difference between before and now, he felt as if the mission was almost over. This 4-pronged attack was resulting in a success. Still, he didn’t grow overconfident, simply keeping his heart and mentality just one atom below that state.

… …poom, bam pam, pppuum…

Soon, Heian Ciemnosc arrived near the east, and he could already see the flashes from afar, more prominent and with explosive waves warning him of the possible death he would suffer if he was bombarded with those things. He closed in where a triangle formation kept Esteban, Fengli, and Sakura safe and sound, exterminating the enemy like cockroaches out in the open.

As they felt his presence once he crossed the 150 meters away from them, Heian Ciemnosc sent his Spirit Sense into his medallion and communicated. Rapidly, they opened a gap for a few seconds. But just as the enemy was about to take advantage of it, they rushed to the sides, letting many sword-tip tools float in the air and explode without warning right where they used to hold their defense!

Whoosh, whoosh- boom boom boom- boom boom boom booom…

It had already happened a couple times before. But with the strange gap they allowed to be out of nowhere, the desperate Ancestors and Retired Ancestors launched themselves at the chance. Never did these ancestors expect the trio to float away and leave behind those murderous, awful tools hanging in the air and ready to self-explode, let alone notice Heian Ciemnosc approaching from behind.

“Haff, huff… Eh, sir… arr, team leader, are you alright? Do you need to retreat?”

Once they were reunited, the trio surrounded Heian Ciemnosc as if he were a precious treasure. Esteban spoke after breathing with difficulty. He was surprised to see Heian Ciemnosc’s state and the evident strange fluctuations of his mental state. But since the team leader appeared fine, he didn’t ask and suggested instead.

Heian Ciemnosc shook his head with his eyes closed, opened them, and looked at an aged, blond, tall, and muscular man bringing the remaining more than a hundred survivors from all other Crabstynian realm cultivators of the School of Dancing Flowers. Who, instead of attacking them, halted his side’s movements and looked with rapt attention at Heian Ciemnosc and his team members.

“You, kid. Are… you really… th- their team leader?” The Director’s voice was rough but somehow decent. After asking this rhetorical question that the Director seemed to ask just to confirm for himself, his face turned amused and unbelieving all at once, then said with a tone indicating his good mood. “So you all can talk, haha. I knew that medallion transmission wasn’t from any of my people. And here I thought you didn’t speak and were some kind of hidden weapon from the Academy. Some kind of ultimate protective force. Hahahaha!”

The Director even slapped his left knee with his right hand while hovering in the air. His ancestors held serious and hateful gazes towards Heian Ciemnosc and his team members.

Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head at the notion and took a few steps forward to stand before his team in the air, looking directly at the remaining elite higher-ups of the School before speaking. “Your School is finished.”

After saying that, Heian Ciemnosc turned around without a care and returned to stand in the middle of the packed triangle formation. The trio fluctuated their Power Energy as their Power Energy armor enveloped their bodies. When they touched each other’s shoulders, a minute spark went out, but other than that, their armors were as if conjoined but weren’t simultaneously.

“Ek…” The Director, who thought Heian Ciemnosc was about to give a speech, was left wordless. He didn’t know what to say even if he could. For 2 seconds more, the Direction was mute before giving an order, pointing at the trio and Heian Ciemnosc. “Kill them all!! Kill the kid first! Or kill his team slowly, make him see everything, and rape them if possible! Rape them until they fucking die!!”

At the Director’s words, Esteban was unmoving. While Fengli and Sakura were as still and collected as a mountain going through deluges, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes. On the other hand, Heian Ciemnosc’s gaze was serene as he looked into the hearts of everyone on the other side. Because of his darkest eyes, there was a long pause before an Ancestor roared and enveloped his armored body with Power Energy before throwing himself into the triangle formation!

Pshift, paaah- boom, splashhh… Fengli’s left eyebrow rose, and she raised her left arm, her body still facing where she should be, as her hand threw a substantial bout of Power Energy in the shape of a harpoon. The translucent attack became flooded with a tiny violet glow as it clashed with the incoming Ancestor. The Ancestor was just at the 1st stage of the Crabstynian realm, so even as he used his Power Energy and armor to its fullest, the harpoon’s head smoothly went through, and his body exploded into a gore of red screen with many shit in the mix.

The Director looked on, his left eye twitched, and he roared with fury. The notion encouraged the rest, and they advanced with the same speed and determination as the first Ancestor had. As they pushed forward and their Director slowly paced and followed, Heian Ciemnosc turned his head to the left and lowered his chin. His medallion began giving and receiving transmissions nonstop as the Director caught on to that but then frowned. Inside his head, a little thought came up.

‘Why can’t I read their messages? They are in the same realm as me. That kid is even weaker! Why?!’

Pshift- buum… pshift, pshift, pshift- bo- PAM- pom pom bom bang… pshift… bang… boooom…

The Ancestor and Retired Ancestors fought with all their might; their devotion and willingness to die were further encouraged by the Diretor’s words. “You weren’t told of this, Students from the Wrath Nihility Academy! But there was a time when all organizations wanted to form part of the same legacy as the Academy. To live together and form a strong Blackotia Kingdom! Many Archeons have gone by, but the Academy’s cruel, savage actions from that day are not forgotten. We have not forgotten!!”

“Today, tonight! We find ourselves out bested by this archaic enemy, but we aren’t dead yet! Our lord guides our hands. He will reward us for the death of this talented Student and will grant us his potential as a reward! KILL!!”

Seeing a fly no longer trying to mess with the ‘cable connections’ of his inter-medallion communications, Heian Ciemnosc narrowed his eyes. But it was true, those words, but unbeknownst to the Director, every Student knew about that. Not only from records and books in the Academy but there were also worldwide news and scandals. But, of course, who in the damnable hell would let foreigners invade their homes, situate themselves within one’s specific organizational territory, and be happy about it?! Of course, the Academy exterminated those organizations. It was the same as being invaded! Being taken advantage of and told to do so for the sake of cooperating and harmony!

Yet, as the Director’s words gave life to the ancestors’ purpose to fight and die to win, Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes regained that pure darkness, coloring his sclera and instilling the deepest of fear as his team members fought beside him and the enemy ancestors glimpsing at him for a moment. Except… although his team members also felt that coldness and terror… it was embracing them and asking to be embraced back. On the other hand… the ancestors weren’t requested. And in his mind, a last message was sent.

Despite the communication with medallions sounding robotic with solely, one’s uniqueness in their voice can be recognized… Heian Ciemnosc’s tone was dragged on and hoarse.

“Attack now.”
