Chapter 156 — Kill, Die, Cut

Kill, Die, Cut

Slash, puf- clink, clank clank clank clank clank clank clink clink- swish swish ckrsheerr ckrsheerr ckrsheerr ckrsheerr~...

Ciemnosc felt a multitude of slashes come towards him from long weapons like a long pike to even a miserable throwable knife, the first one to come to him at this point while he was in the middle of a million enemies that just could not coordinate that well enough to exert the most pressure and efficiency of their lethality towards one single enemy which seemed unstoppable, was a large blade with a thick belly but thinner towards the handle and the tip.

The blade was moved away by the right side of his forehead, easily moving it away and amazing yet another few thousand disciples and believers all around him currently, his commanding vehicle nowhere to be seen as he had crazily stored it before even the core disciple from before, now his head trampled to mush and mixed with the dirt forever, gave the order to assault Ciemnosc who instead began to assault them and even advance through them!

While the owner of that blade didn’t notice, from how shocked and choked he became from seeing their enemy all just use his head’s skin to deviate the blade, that it was now already penetrating a fellow disciple from the sect in the head, falling to his knees and causing a little avalanche of bodies to be trampled on soon after.

Then came the rest of the blades and even some blunt weapons. Though those seemed to be large enough to be barely used and only be used for the sake of shortening the possible escaping angles that an enemy could plan for themselves. An enemy, though, was nothing like Ciemnosc. And he would let those with the blunt weapons have the chance to attack him before they die to their own attacks with the awfully monstrous powerful ricocheting force from having landed their blunt weapons on Ciemnosc’s body.

It was crazy but a great sight to behold, their arms would break faster than the shaft of their blunt weapons, and then their whole upper bodies would begin to shine with their own transparent Power Energy before they then began to feel their chest implosion and their heads bursting into several sliced parts from so many cracks that went from their bone to their flesh.

Blood would flood to all angles and, depending on those surrounding the ones with blunt weapons as well as the cultivation base of the latter, more and more people would die with that very same ricocheting force that seemed to have no end and always formed a little circle all around Ciemnosc. And of course, they couldn’t notice as they were too busy getting killed by a pair of swords, blades, or both at the same time. Let alone notifying of such strange occurrences amidst the fighting and killing of this… true monster!

And now, as soon as Ciemnosc blocked that one saber and used it to kill another one of their fellow comrades, now all but his enemies, Ciemnosc’s blade and sword began to block away every weapon’s edge and blade coming towards him. But with every block, he pushed the owner of that weapon backwards and those surrounding the owner backwards as well.

Only some that were fortunate enough to have Ciemnosc infuse some of his dark Power Energy into either of his top notch edged or bladed weapons would have their bodies getting cut in half, in pieces, and sometimes even only their heads off disproportionately, or at their necks and thus beheading. The rest would have to either kill their fellow disciple or believer or very well be killed by one of them. The force from Ciemnosc’s simple swings and thrusts was just too much for any of them to take.

And once Ciemnosc finished the initial incoming set of edged or bladed and blunt weapons, the fun parts would finally come…

At this moment, as Ciemnosc blocked this set of bladed and blunt weapons, his body crouching, standing still, almost lying on the ground, and even jumping in midair just a meter above the dirt and rotating at the standard level of those fools surrounding him and each time - his arms flew away bouts and bouts of people with just his strength while occasionally killing off some with his dark Power Energy infused into them top notch weapons in his hands.

Not a single blade could make its way to his body, but that wouldn’t even be a problem, it was just that throwing them backwards was too good of a distraction and disordering of… whatever attempt of a formation they were trying to make in the middle of this large battlefield against one sole person: himself.

And now, now it was the time for Ciemnosc to start cutting people directly while moving forwards! Still towards the west!

Ciemnosc lowered his waist, his back still straight and his bum slightly sticking out, while his back faced a few bodies becoming corpses but already being trampled on by their fellow disciples and believers, all thanks to a bit of strength and dark Power Energy being used.

On the other hand, his arms were raised up and to his shoulders’ height, while his elbows bent inwards with his fists facing the ground. He looked up ahead of him, his eyes darkest and his feet slowly tensing as they began to emit fear in the hearts of everyone who saw them sinking in without the slightest movement.

“Prepare for his charge, the teams behind us are ready to intercept him! Don’t fall ap-” One cultivator that was at the 10th stage of the Spirit Gathering realm tried warning and forming the mix of cultivators all around. But.

CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR...

Ciemnosc was no longer trying to force his way through this huge amount of endless enemies, even if he had much more Power Energy in his body that regenerated a little and even if he could heal himself tiny bits by tiny bits every now and then, he was not going to be able of killing even a tenth of these even if he went all out-... for as he wasn’t going to give his ‘enemies’ whom he doesn’t even really ever care about in the first place - a chance to simply chase him ‘better’.

And so, only his blades and swords had danced around on this battlefield, killing already close to 10,000 enemies and managing to reach the middle of such a large amount of enemies. Only he was already falling in terms of stamina, and without ‘replenishing’ his body, he wasn’t going to last, even if he just depended on his bodily strength the whole time, those were a whole fucking million cultivators still!

Even if their maximum cultivation base was at the Spirit Gathering realm 10th stage and down to the Link Consolidation realm from all 4 major organizations, it was still too fucking many.

Hence, Ciemnosc’s feet weren’t just ‘trying’ anymore but were going to go all out with his 16,000 kg of bodily strength in both his legs and with his dark Power Energy beginning to enshroud his body. It had to be said, somewhat, that despite his extremely short age, Ciemnosc was somewhat easily distinguishable among this huge horde of enemies.

STOMP STOMP-... whiiiiistleeee~~~...

That was when Ciemnosc’s feet took off from the ground, the dirt behind him seemingly beginning to show incredible signs of altogether trembling like an aftershock of a mildly strong earthquake, making those who were trampling on brand new corpses behind him trip around and start to be trampled in return by other fellow disciples and believers; just as they had done themselves.

The disciples trying to make everything orderly were shut up. Some of them in front of Ciemnosc’s trajectory towards the west that he had taken before in order to put an example felt a tingling in their ears right before their bodies were completely trashed into unrecognizable explosions of blood, flesh, and even shite.

As for the rest of the enemies around Ciemnosc, and on his way out of the whole large group of enemies, they were all handed to the blade and sword in his hands, which were fully covered by his dark Power Energy. Everywhere they passed, flesh and bodies alike were torn apart with even those 2 meters away from them both getting cut off in so many different ways and all dying nonetheless to his sword and blade even from that distance away.

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

And while those that were beginning to order those that were the farthest away from Ciemnosc to keep on grouping towards the west after a lot of convincing, so that Ciemnosc would continue to advance to the west, but their numbers would become more and more packed in that direction and not let Ciemnosc himself escape away - suddenly paled!

Whoooooosh~~~...

“Is he flying?!” - “Oh my god, oh my god, is he escaping? Oh my fucking god!” - “What the fu- how?!” - “Noo, catch hiiiim!! He killed my partner, aaaagghhh!” - “...” - “...” - “...”

While some were incredibly happy to see Ciemnosc just dashing through the air with one single leap of that one single stomp from both his feet. There were lots of others who were puking blood at simply seeing Ciemnosc flee from their encirclement. He wasn’t even close to the Conflagrate realm, just the 1st stage of the Spirit Gathering realm, how was it possible?!

But that was it, anyone who was below Ciemnosc began dying without any hope of even knowing what to defend against, with only some Spirit Gathering realm disciples and believers at the middle and later stages using their Power Energy to protect themselves and along with their weapons - only to be blasted to bits at the moment of being reached out by the blade and sword’s strikes from afar. Those simple wind-like cuts were decimating all life it touched.

As for Ciemnosc himself, he was already 4 meters above their heads by the time many noticed this impossible feat achieved by just a Spirit Gathering realm. However, instead of thinking greatly of himself, Ciemnosc’s eyes were but lifeless and ultimately cold, while his head thought… ‘I’m starting to hate explosions, hm.’

Whooosh- … … …stomp! Pa- pah! Whoooooosh…

Ciemnosc’s body flew away on the back of almost half a million of the enemies, who looked on, astounded and with some… entertainment as well. Only when the most powerful around screamed at the top of their lungs and by enhancing their voice and throat with all of their Power and Energy until exhausting themselves did everyone begin to rush towards Ciemnosc.

… … trckrr… … … …

But after a couple of tens of seconds, the little dot that was Ciemnosc suddenly stopped, while the tired whole lot of million enemies behind him were beginning to shine with the hope of catching up to him. They then saw him become a larger dot in the distance. And a loud enough motor sounded out, loud enough to reach their ears despite being so far away…

… On the other hand, Ciemnosc, who was now driving his commanding vehicle checked as fast as he could with his cannon system; there was no ‘ambush’ that he ‘couldn’t have predicted’ anywhere in the distance towards the center of the west of the Region. It seemed that although a whole lot of a million imbeciles were moved to ‘catch him by surprise’, that was also their limit, and no further forces were sent towards them.

Though he knew of the ‘treaty’ with the other forces of the world, and even more so the neighboring ones to this Region, he wasn’t sure if there was a limit to how many forces could be sent from the major organizations to the western side of the Little Lake, and the ‘true’ west of the Region for that matter. Though all of the Little Lake formed part of the west anyway.

“Haiih…” Ciemnosc let out a breath, not too long nor shot, and simply rested his whole back against the driver’s seat. It was a bit warm while the snow all around the plains on this side of the shore seemed to be too cold, but the ground was more orange. However, it wasn’t like a desert nor like the dirt that anyone knows, this one seemed to be simply containing warmth despite being cold from the outside.

Of course, that was known only by Ciemnosc as he had already scanned through it all this time and even more so while he was fighting the largest number of enemies he had ever faced.

And as he closed his eyes, he raised his legs up to a silly crossed-legged position, his tired eyelashes finally falling as he began to properly digest the Power Energy of that one Obsidiafying realm… he ate up without caring about Kinski or the then-dead Kathrine from looking at him.

Ciemnosc had already solidified his cultivation base at the 2nd stage of the Spirit Gathering realm with the remnants from Yolin’s Power Energy, from just one chunk of her flesh. And while that was just a tiny piece compared to the whole body of an Obsidiafying realm cultivator, comparing a 10th stager that has been at the peak for who knows how many tens or even hundreds of years towards someone nearing their lifespan’s limit and at the 1st stage was too absurd - the difference was more than obvious and notorious for Ciemnosc’s tastes and body.

In short, it is only with the Obsidiafying realm 1st stage cultivator and Pu Lianter’s Conflagrate realm half a step into the 9th stage - bodies that Ciemnosc was able to be this close to advancing to the 3rd stage already. Only needing to properly digest the ‘small’ amount of Power Energy compared to Yolin, to really break through to the 3rd stage.

With luck, he wouldn’t need any Supreme Powerful Stones, which he already calculated would need at least almost a dozen to breakthrough from stage to stage, and that was for early and mid stages for that matter.

Ciemnosc directed a path to the center of the west. Nothing else there could be done to him other than also automatizing the cannons to shoot towards anyone who came closer than 100 meters; because 100 meters were more than enough. Ciemnosc was also damn sure they wouldn’t leave him, unlike the Obsidiafying realm cultivators, all those under the Conflagrate realm could do whatever they wanted in the western side of the Little Lake, or the ‘true west’.

And even then, only the Conflagrate realm cultivators who would go into the ‘true west’ would have to do it alone. It was such a shame to think that the 4 major organizations acquiesced to such things only someone like Valeria and Fu Lan would ever know of, with probably Enaro not even knowing of that until his death.

In the past, though some Conflagrate realm cultivators had even gone into the ‘true west’ with the purpose of investigating it for future plans, a lot of them didn’t return. That could only be even more shameful and denigrating for the 4 major organizations, to be hunted down by others just like this, pfft. And to think they unanimously feel like the rulers of the world by lording over the strongest Region for all this time.

“...” Ciemnosc only closed his eyes, and his mind went all into that endless, pure darkness deep within him. His eyes suddenly began darting around, his breath quickening to an impossible level, and so many images inside his head, from his memory… for just a moment before all of it ceased. And then a long pause of only silence ensued.

Ciemnosc silently thought to himself before focusing on cultivating, ‘Am I even allowed to cry?’

Back at the stronghold’s port, where only shambles of some wood was left, all of it could be seen right below the soles of the feet of many upper echelons, who were flying really high up in the air.

Be it the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect’s sect master, grand ancestor, some ancestors, and elders, or the Moribund Yearning Cult’s pastor, preacher, shaman, and enforcer elders. They were all now present, but ‘all’ was for those remaining after the event where the actual strongest living person, ever, somehow detonated her whole self just to try and end their lives.

In the end, sacrificing all of their Cloudless Eagles and pelicans, so many tools and armors, even with a few losing their Mortal graded weaponry, these few managed to survive both major organizations who sent a large force of their most powerful members.

Whoosh whoosh wooosh whooosh…

“Hm,” grand ancestor Xing Kei, with his body being supported by a pelican and from the side by some elders and acting elders, riddled with bloody clothes that he didn’t change due to not being able of using his Spirit Sense momentarily, grunted slightly at seeing a pair of figures flying towards them at full speed.

Fwah fwah~.

The pair of male and female elders of the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect came to a stop in front of the upper echelons of their sect, directly simulating a kneeling position in midair and with the female elder as well after coming down her Cloudless Eagle.

“We’ve returned, grand ancestor!” - “We’ve failed to catch him in time, grand ancestor!” They reported, but before the two of them had anything to say or the grand ancestor’s old self had time to react, sect master Holoriu responded by cutting into ‘their’ conversation. That was much more of a debriefing, and the grand ancestor responded by narrowing his old eyes on his sect’s sect master.

“I would like to know what you failed with?” Hearing the sect master’s weird tone, the elders immediately felt indecisive, their heads burning with their gears working at beyond full speed before momentarily choosing to save their own skin.

“Honorable sect master, Ciemnosc crossed to the other side before we managed to catch up with him. Now we can only leave it to the disciples and believers working together to do it in our stead, we are useless.” The male elder said, with the female elder gracefully reporting in a light tone a few seconds after the male elder finished.

“I have received a few reports from when we were making our way here. Ciemnosc is indeed at the 1st stage of the Spirit Gathering realm. It seems that he will now be able to fight Conflagrate realms but with our numbers on the other side…” The female elder paused and looked at the sect master’s eyes, before saying with those eyes burning, “He’s more than dead!”

“Mm, just the Spirit Gathering realm. He’ll tire himself out to death. We’ll be receiving great news soon then.” The sect master nodded and said, taking a look at the ‘about to die’-like pastor of the Moribund Yearning Cult, before changing his tone to a somber and fake easy going one when returning his gaze at the 2 reporting elders. “Don’t get confused anymore, understand? Dismiss now. You’ll receive your rewards later on.”

“Yes, sect master.” - “Many thanks for the glorious sect master.” After bidding farewell ‘politely’, the 2 elders left, one on her Cloudless Eagle and the other simply flying away in the distance while looking down at the large, damn wide crater below.

“Now, where is Yolin? Oh, and sect master Farno? We must discuss very seriously and properly, how to follow up with these troublesome matters in the most efficient and quickest way possible. There is too much turmoil amongst our major organizations to be united.” The sect master; ambiguously; said as he looked around himself; oh, and everyone nodded.
