Chapter 417 — Unlocked Soul

Chapter 417 — Unlocked Soul

Unlocked Soul

Within the darkness, from that same emptiness, Heian Ciemnosc could only slightly call upon when focusing all of his being into it. He felt his hands and everything around him... differently. It was like a new world. Before, he needed to enhance his eyes to see beyond his ordinary eyesight and enter a state where he could 'see' many more things, even miscellaneous actions in the past. This wasn't time traveling but nature-reading itself.

“!” As Heian Ciemnosc looked at his hands, they felt like it was this dome himself as if he was the dome and the dome was naturally all of his body. However, he was still within it and could hear Greg’s screams and agonizing shrieks just a few meters away. With just a thought, Heian Ciemnosc’s head was lifted as he looked in a direction. It wasn’t Greg’s, but Elena's, where she fell on the ground.

Heian Ciemnosc then looked at Greg, and with that thought, he suddenly disappeared from the spot of darkness he was standing on just now. He reappeared just 3 short meters before Greg, looking at him as he acted like he was burning from the inside, but no flames or sparks could be seen. When Heian Ciemnosc came closer, he seemed to notice something and looked somewhere in his direction.

Heian Ciemnosc studied Greg. He was about to fold his legs and kneel on the ground, but his big hammer was still on his shoulder. With a rapid movement, Greg grabbed it with his left hand, his right arm seemingly losing strength. As he gripped its handle, he rapidly swung it towards Heian Ciemnosc without a care, all of his Power Energy, not in disarray and no longer caring about forming a barrier around his Soul to keep his body from being set ablaze.

In this big hammer’s upside-down motion, Heian Ciemnosc saw the big hammer with regular speed. It was no longer as fast and impossible to predict as it was in the near past. Concurrently, it was still fast and all-mighty, but it didn’t make Heian Ciemnosc feel like he couldn’t take this hit. Thus, he extended his left arm to directly meet the hammer’s side with his palm. Dark Power Energy roared within him, and it exploded as it reappeared around his body.

Swish, PO- PAM, WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH~~...

Heian Ciemnosc had been tired for a few hours already. He had fought against 100,000 cultivators who could put him down at any moment. But Heian Ciemnosc continued even after he was seriously injured, traveled with his people outside the mist, and finally fought a Fighter battle until now. After all this, he still walked forward and raised his arm, connecting his palm with the big hammer. When they abutted, a tremendous dual noise thundered across several kilometers.

The palm and hammer head met, and the air surrounding them in several tens of meters surged, crashing everywhere and leveling the grass to the ground level. Heian Ciemnosc’s left arm wasn’t shaking after receiving that blow, and he even felt his [All-Devouring Force Chronicles] gain some of the progress he was just slightly short of. Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes looked into Greg’s, and at that moment, the flame inside his Soul seemed to be fueled by everything.

“AAAAAAAH!” Greg’s face contorted and awfully twisted, but it only increased the might he put behind his hammer strike. Yet, Heian Ciemnosc continued to expend his dark Power Energy as more air, several tens of meters around them, continued disorderly rushing about. Heian Ciemnosc’s dark Power Energy reserves were insanely more oversized than anyone else. But at this moment, they were nearly 100% exhausted after so much fighting.

“...” Even then, all Heian Ciemnosc did was continue pouring dark Power Energy into his left arm and body as he locked eyes with Greg. In a sudden speech, his dragged-on, extremely hoarse voice made Greg paralyzed for a couple seconds. “Haven’t you had enough? Although it is a disgust to take advantage of you, not devouring you is losing a good chance for myself. Burn already.”

Fwuh-pa! Just then, Greg noticed the ordinary flames were enshrouding every millimeter of his Soul. He looked into his inner being, only to see it expand throughout his body, rapidly setting his lungs, heart, and intestines on fire after coming out of his inner self as if overly precedented. When he looked at the real, outside world again, Greg saw Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes and the new, intricate sensation of this pale young man’s overbearingness, stunning him.

‘Why?’ Was the last thing he thought right after Heian Ciemnosc felt his dark flame spreading within Greg’s body. He acted. His dark claws embedded into Greg’s body after lightly parrying his hammer into the sky. His right one below, and the left one above. Heian Ciemnosc formed an oval perimeter as he caved his Claws Out into Greg’s abdomen, directly striking his Dantian and sending enormous pain bouts into Greg’s every being!

However, Greg was still seemingly attracted by the darkest eyes. Greg couldn’t react despite feeling such terrible sensations, even if he wanted to. Heian Ciemnosc spread his arms and raised Greg’s body into the air. With this motion, Greg’s body was struggling to keep itself together as Heian Ciemnosc kept pulling it apart with both hands, his dark claws meeting the raging ordinary orange and yellow flames inside Greg’s body with dark particles surrounding it, giving Heian Ciemnosc a bit more of dark Power Energy. It was very negligible.

Ckrsheeeeeerrrrr, ckrsheerr.

Up against Heian Ciemnosc’s bodily strength and with his Power Energy played with, Greg had no chance. His body broke into two, his eyes rapidly dulled, and the immensely robust Power Energy inside his body was devoured immediately after. As Heian Ciemnosc held Greg’s body high up, his chest heaved up and down, and his veins were raging, pumping with dark blood that made them stand out beneath his pale skin.

“Huff, huff, huff…” It wasn’t until a few tens of seconds later that Heian Ciemnosc let the body drop to the ground. But with the Myriad Darkness Materialization dome, no sound was made, and only his ragged breathing could be felt. At this moment, he sensed various presences trying to enter it to pry inside. ‘They must be those Third Step cloaked bunch.’

Heian Ciemnosc thought as he looked down and recomposed his breathing. He turned around as he commanded the Myriad Darkness Materialization. He walked to where Elena was thrown to the ground and noticed she was gone. Looking slightly farther up, she dragged her body through the softened mud and cut-off grass, and made her way to where Heian Ciemnosc was last seen standing. She was desperately doing so, with her eyes closed as if blind.

Whoosh, rustle, hug. Before the Myriad Darkness Materialization was gone, Heian Ciemnosc thought and reappeared beside her. With a swift motion, he bent over and picked her up with his arms. Elena seemed to notice something when he reappeared beside her and turned to face the sky. Her brown eyes slightly opened as she didn’t resist and let her body be hugged. Her neck was still hurt, somewhat broken. But as a feeble amount of dark Power Energy traveled onto her skin and another ‘force’ she could only familiarize herself with their dual cultivation periods, her neck regained its regular appearance.

When the dome was finally gone, Elena saw her husband’s pale face, just as she remembered it before this sudden fight started. He was fine. And similarly, Heian Ciemnosc saw Elena’s pale face, just bruised and with dried-up blood stains around her face. She looked hurt. Heian Ciemnosc brought her head to his chest and pushed her in, wanting her to form part of his body. Elena let him bury her forehead and nose in his chest as she smiled silly.

“I- I couldn’t find you… so I kept going, I just…” Elena said with difficulty as she struggled to look up at her man. She appeared so weak it made Heian Ciemnosc’s heart badly hurt. Placing his face close to hers, he gently said, “You can find me in here. You just have to use what you remember, you dumb fool. Couldn’t you remember?”

“Oh, right. Sorry, I forgot,” Elena chuckled amidst her words, making her frown from the pain she felt in her abdomen and upper torso. Heian Ciemnosc transmitted what little dark Power Energy he had left as he walked to the Ornament. “It’s okay. Because of my condition, we need to enter secluded cultivation immediately. Just let my COs look for the survivors. They should already know we’ve killed Greg.”

“Mn,” Elena nodded and buried her face back into his body, this time his neck. She stopped moving as she closed her eyes and started recuperating Power Energy. But then, several whooshing sounds came from behind them as the cloaked figures, long forgotten, surrounded Heian Ciemnosc’s back up in the air. One of them spoke, his reptilian voice familiar. “Don’t leave just yet. Since we’ve watched your battle, stop and grant us some gifts, kids. Unless… you want to become our guests somewhere el-”

WHOOOOOSHH!!!! “Who dares?” A tremendous, thunderous whooshing sound immediately halted the reptilian’s voice’s words, but what followed it was a smooth and lazy female voice. Heian Ciemnosc and Elena’s eyes showed excitement as they looked up. A gigantic transparent gray, crimson tornado fell from the sky, arriving above them to reveal a gold and purple uniform with the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s emblem on her left shoulder.

“No- impossible! How can you still be here?!” The reptilian voice sounded, and just as Alyona’s eyes gently and guiltily looked down at the pair of hubby and wifey, she jolted her head to turn it and look towards the owner of that voice. “The only reason I haven’t started was because Heian Ciemnosc will be the one to exterminate your Kingdom. How dare you speak?!”

Alyona’s face was fierce. Seeing her expression turn like this, anyone who knew the most famous images about her during the past 20 years turned deathly cold. She didn’t give anyone time to react as she raised her left arm and opened her right palm, facing the sky. Immediately, from the tornado she made, endless electric bouts protruded, targeting each of them as it arrived before them in half a moment.

PSSSHIIIIIIFFFT!!!! KA-CHAAAAAAA~!!!

The electric bouts were crimson and were instant in Heian Ciemnosc and Elena’s eyes as they watched dozens of them land, one each in the cloaked figures. As soon as it touched them, the technique sent those people flying hundreds of thousands of kilometers in the distance. It wasn’t right away, but Heian Ciemnosc could see the cloaked figures for only one second before they disappeared from his improved Spirit Sense. The noise from the cracking electric bouts was so loud it directly deafened the cloaked figure’s flying sound.

Just as Heian Ciemnosc and Elena thought that was all, she spoke to the air, her voice traveling across the entire Sanz Upper Kingdom. “We’ll leave it like this. If you ever dare to enter any Universe near the Wrath Nihility Academy in the next 100 years, any Universe adjacent to your puny Tri-Trident Pavilion will be exterminated by the Crimsonbreaking Faction. Your doom will arrive before those 100 years are over. I promise you that. But not by my hands!”

Alyona’s last few spoken words were spouted with ferocity, but her words brought her husband warmth, Heian Ciemnosc. He looked up at her while holding a weakened Elena in her arms. A few seconds after Alyona spoke, she looked down at them, her eyes saddened when glancing into Elena’s overly tired brown eyes. Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes were bathed in tenderness. How could he not understand his wife’s expectations? In less than 100 years, she wanted him to at least surpass the Third Step’s peak. Was she crazy, or was she not crazy?!

Heian Ciemnosc nodded at her. Alyona returned the gesture, and her eyes on his face were like caressing his face. Before he knew it, she had descended and was caressing their faces with love. When she looked back into Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes, her black-coffee eyes were surprised and astounded as she read his Soul. She was so proud of their hubby…

“Were you here all the time?” Heian Ciemnosc asked, somewhat helpless and bitterly. Alyona smiled gently, something rare in her, and smooched Elena’s forehead dotingly before eskimo kissing Heian Ciemnosc with the deepest love. Then, she opened her red lips and said with gentle obviousness. “Of course I was! Elyor was just a nanosecond from destroying that shit’s neck and back. At worst, we would’ve had to run away a little before the Heraxle Clan stepped out and calmed the Universal Land. Otherwise, we might’ve started a civil war, and there’s no treaty concerning no wars between Universal Land as long as there’s a motive.”

“Mn, I know,” Heian Ciemnosc responded like a teenager being told something he already knew by his mom but wasn’t obnoxious. He looked at Elena as Alyona played with the bridge of his nose. Looking at their baby-like Elena, and as Elena blushed from their loving sight, Heian Ciemnosc asked Alyona. “How’s Hong Mei? Why is she not coming?”

“Don’t you think it’s enough to violate an Upper Kingdom’s sovereignty with 2 peak Third Step cultivators? Do you want us to war against others for letting you suffer? I don’t mind,” Alyona said, shaking her head uncaringly and making Heian Ciemnosc grin. He said with a calm, quiet tone, “No, no. I just wanted to see her as well. By the way, aren’t you half a step into becoming a Goddess?”

“Mn,” Alyona nodded, her eyes widening at Heian Ciemnosc’s sudden analyzing capabilities, allowing him to look through someone's cultivation 2 whole Steps above his. “I am. But for now, you will have to depart from my side already… Mn, be good and treat Elena respectively. You must dual cultivate so no sequelae remain within your path. Make sure to recuperate fast and intense cultivation sessions. Learn to use your Soul as soon as possible, understood? It’s intricately powerful, but it will only be worth having it when you use it correctly.”

“Mn, I know, I know.” Heian Ciemnosc responded. Alyona’s chin was lifted as she commanded. “Now, give me kisses.”

“...” Elena was silent throughout their conversation, looking at them with dilated pupils and without blinking. When their chins obscured her vision from their lips with her naked eyesight, she used her Spirit Sense to peep at them, which they didn’t care about. When the long, slow, and loving active moment was over, Elena hesitated for a few seconds before struggling to raise her upper torso.

“Mou, Elena, don’t move- ah.” Alyona looked down to place her left fingers on Elena’s collarbone. And just as she was about to push Elena down to safety, she felt the left side of her jaw held by Elena’s right hand. Next thing she knew, her lips were dancing up and down with Elena’s, their eyes closed, and Heian Ciemnosc watching, clearly enjoying the sight. “Mnnn mnnn- mnnhh~...”

“Mnh~,” with a contented muffled murmur, Alyona then looked at Heian Ciemnosc with black-coffee eyes that said ‘you’re good when you want to work’ before pinching Elena’s cheek. She kissed her husband’s forehead again before caressing his face adoringly and left without saying any further words. She turned into a transparent gray and crimson smoke that returned to the tornado. It receded back into space, disappearing from their eyes.

“...” - “... Let’s go,” after looking at the spot she had come to their rescue and left, Heian Ciemnosc said. Elena nodded, “Mn.”

“Ah, where is Fera?” Elena asked just as she was once again walked to the Ornament. Heian Ciemnosc quietly looked at the ground to his immediate right, having already arrived beside the young girl, and sent a bout of dark Power Energy to pick Fera up. That was the last he could use, but he wasn’t worried, as his bodily strength was enough to keep him going for a few hours before falling unconscious. After he picked Fera up, Heian Ciemnosc spoke with a teasing tone.

“Here’s your little girl. Why? Worried about her? Hm?” Heian Ciemnosc held Elena with both arms but had to use his right arm to pick Fera like a baby. Thus, his two babies were now in each of his arms as Elena looked at the bloodied Fera with gentleness. After Heian Ciemnosc took several steps, she glanced up at him and said, leaning her head on his left trapezius muscle. “We have to take care of her properly. Let’s have her breakthrough stages and reach the peak of the First Step at least. You don’t have to dual cultivate with her for that anyways.”

“Just cultivate together. You’ll surely help your team members get there after we return, right? It won’t be much time before that even begins.” Elena spoke fluently, clearly having recuperated somewhat. Heian Ciemnosc looked at her and lightly smiled with those pale red lips. “Why do you want me to cultivate her as a good seed? She isn’t even from the Academy, nor my future wifey, eh.”

“It isn’t because of that, but isn’t she actually incredible? You saw her do all that stuff with just her Spirit Image and Power Energy. You must know that only one with their Spirit Aspect can do those things. She has to have great energy manipulation talent. She will be a great powerhouse in the future. What better than to roll her into our circle? Besides, after you can seed into others, we will make our first son marry her, and there you have it. She’s ours, she and her Obscure Orb Sect.”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc shook his head with a big smile at Elena’s words. She had gone through many instances already, not even caring to bother whether Fera was that ambitious and would definitely vie for the Sect Master’s position. However, the determination Fera showed to defend Heian Ciemnosc was definitely not small. Still, with a devious tone, he said. “Alright, alright. She’s asleep, so she can’t hear us. Just don’t treat her like a pig we’re raising after she wakes up.”

“Of course not! Who do you think I am? She’s my future daughter-in-law, not my pet. She’ll just have to know to keep herself from being touched until our son is ready to be married to her. That’s all I’m asking,” Elena looked up at Heian Ciemnosc after saying those words, her intentions clear as she asked him for help. Helpless, Heian Ciemnosc rolled his eyes, saying, “Alright, let’s make her a saint so she can belong only to our first son. Is that enough?”

“Mn, hehehehe.” Elena giggled as she couldn’t help feeling giddy after so many mentions of their future first son. Their lives in a thousand, hundred thousand, or Eons would be very entertaining. Finally, they stepped into the Ornament after Heian Ciemnosc expended some effort to lift it. His COs were now recuperated and looked at him with the greatest respect they had ever shown to anyone else, including the Wrath Nihility Headmaster.

Now, all they needed to do before triumphantly returning was to search for survivors. Fera was left with Violet and Victor to be treated as Heian Ciemnosc and Elena rapidly entered into his little bedroom to fornicate with his dual cultivation method. It was an urgent matter, after all…
