Chapter 227 — The 12 Year Old Caretaker And Teacher

The 12 Year Old Caretaker And Teacher

"Besides that, the Phrenic realm allows one to have a lifespan of 500 years, giving anyone more than enough time to reach the Spirit Gathering realm. But, does anyone have any idea why these first phew cultivation realms are so... bountiful in terms of lifeforce?" Ciemnosc said, then asked, and waited for anyone among his students to react before continuing as nobody seemed to have thought much about it or was just unwilling to speak out.

“There is no particular reason. It is not because we humans or anyone else is that amazing. For others, like the Beast Race, this is just an addition to their already long lifespans, and even more so for Creatures whose vitality increases but not as much nor as efficiently as a Beast Race member.” Ciemnosc began elaborating, his tone lowering down on the coldness a little.

“But it is indeed very obvious that if you do not do something else besides cultivating and training or fighting an enemy during this entire time, you would be failing in the cultivation world already. It is fine to not be like me and suddenly try everything and then focus on everything. But finding aCraftsmaking profession is the least you can do. Two or more would be for the best.”

“Teach, what is the difference between… lifeforce of a Creature and a Beast Race member?” Little loli Sha asked, raising her hand high at this moment, her eyes filled with uncomfortable curiosity that wouldn’t be scratched off until she knew the truth. Seeing such a good seed, Ciemnosc, of course, gave her an answer. “Creatures only become truly intelligent when evolving into a Beast Race member and no longer just a Creature.”

“The process is unknown, as there are few other races in the world, and when it happens, it is clandestine and not for anyone else to take notice of it. Even Obsidiaffying realm cultivators are incapable of doing that.”

“But, when they do evolve, they gain that little intelligence they were lacking, with their whole bodies changing and making the worth of that word: evolution.” Ciemnosc made a little detour before returning to elaborate on the Phrenic realm. “That evolution is not only of their appearance and their capability to speak languages with their lips and tongues but also in the way they can harness their Power Energy to cultivate and even get rid of their vulnerability known as the Spirit Heart-Link.”

“Some Creatures are already able to gain a humanoid appearance. It is not dependent on their sub-species nor if there is any bloodline capability but rather depending on the Creature itself. The Heart-Link of Creatures evolving to become part of the Beast Race turns into great power instead. And their lifeforce, energy, and vitality are increased so much that one could live for half a thousand years without cultivation. The sub-race of said Beast Race members doesn’t matter as how it would if they were Creatures or common animals.”

“On the other hand, when evolving, it is the most wonderful thing in the world; when it comes to living beings. As it is the same as being reborn again. Not only do they become younger in appearance, be it in their truly humanoid or authentic form. Their bodies can even last thousands of years with the appearance of a child before beginning to grow. This is even against their will, and it is often thought that is nature treating them like children when, believe me, they do much more than childish things.”

“The Spirit Heart-Link turns into their Psychogenic Dantian Links even if they are not yet at the Link Consolidation Realm, already allowing them to cultivate as fast and as efficiently as any other human, which is known so far to have the best cultivation qualities.” Ciemnosc made a stop, and seeing the very well amazed faces on his dizzied students, he went back to what his general class hours were about.

“Phrenic realm cultivators can use some techniques or skills. These can be related to one’s cultivation method or not. And as everyone knows and accepts here, a cultivation method has no range, grade, or qualification; what matters only is the compatibility and the toughening of one’s cultivation path.”

“And if you didn’t believe that before, I’m sure you will after some more classes of mine,” Ciemnosc said without the slightest of shame or embarrassment, all while his students were looking at him, still dazed and not talking even to their best friends forever or so.

“Said skills or techniques cannot be used with one’s equipment or tools or sent out like a Conflagrate realm cultivator can. Now, who here can tell me the differences between a skill and a technique…” Ciemnosc suddenly changed his subject, giving clear hints that the cultivation realms talk was over and that he was now to do some more little questioning before attending each class’s hour of their own.

. . .

Mountain, on one of its pathways facing the most common and ordinary but also most populated sections of the academy. Night, just a few tens of meters before arriving at a specific protruding platform.

Step, step, step, step.

“Your hearing has become better, Gallah.” Ciemnosc slowly walked to his Creature-renting service building while Gallah looked at the moon atop the sky. He turned around and gestured to point at his ears while nodding slightly but repeatedly. Coming to stand side to side with Gallah just a few meters away from his building, Ciemnosc talked to him calmly.

“Ready to help move possibly dangerous Creatures? How was it before you came here? Anyone giving you a goodbye kiss?” Hearing Ciemnosc’s words, Gallah simply shook his head while still looking at the sky. Not responding to Ciemnosc but silently criticizing a little kid trying to tease him, a womanizer and pussy destroyer bad boi like himself.

“Leen just had me go through another impregnation play, but other than that, it was all chill,” Gallah said, saying with 2 parts sighing and 8 parts bragging. Ciemnosc turned to face him, and with an expressionless but also annoyingly insinuating face, he said. “That’s a lot of preggo play. Are you sure you and she aren’t…”

“Nah, you know I prefer innocent and sweet, younger girls to consider partnering with.” Gallah said with tranquility, his face at ease and his words flowing out his lips. Ciemnosc repeatedly nodded in response, exclaiming a soft ‘aah’ before Gallah added. “Besides, Leen prefers a male partner who is up to getting drilled while making love to her.”

“Mn, women.” Ciemnosc closed his eyes for half a second and nodded more assertively, slightly, saying as he completely understood. Then Gallah added, “He has more than 200 suitors in that regard.”

“Nevermind, we are the ones who need help.” Ciemnosc shook his head right away, with Gallah joining him soon after. And sometime after looking at the starless dark deep blue night, they got to step forward and move into Ciemnosc’s Creature-renting service building as a few tens of trucks began driving towards here from a distance.

Afterwards, while Gallah, a Conflagrate realm 3rd stage cultivator, began moving a massive amount of Creatures and even a few packs of animals from the trucks to the temporary animal and Creature shelters, Ciemnosc was already working on constructing his own building altogether. Sounds of all kinds of wildlife and Creatures became the noise of the night, while the sounds of a construction site became more and more pronounced as the night went by. It didn’t matter, however, as everyone in the academy were cultivators, and focusing their senses on relaxing wouldn’t be interrupted by just some casual noise. Unless, perhaps, it was to be some sort of slapping sounds instead.

The entire night to the next day’s afternoon, such sounds never stopped, and two ‘men’— a man indeed but a child on the other hand —worked that long to do their own job. Gallah would use his cultivation base and Spirit Sense to guide, threaten and deal with his job. While Ciemnosc would just go crazy, tirelessly working and moving from one extreme point to another of the entire construction site ceaselessly.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

When the afternoon of the next day came, they took another hour before driving back to their bedroom in the dormitories. They had to make some extra time since they were at the second most lavish section of the academy facing the mountain. But they were more than on time to receive hugs and some smooches on their skin from their housewives-like teammates.

… The next day after that, Ciemnosc walked to the department he was in charge of teaching. From an even earlier time, his students were already in the classroom. And in his hands, he finally held something as his right hand had the notice that his students worked hard to get. It was basically congratulating little Ciemnosc on his great achievements and hoping he could keep being such a great teacher for the academy’s students with now a bunch hours more starting from earlier than before.

Ciemnosc didn’t mind, his hours in the evening were left alone, and he considered that no more hours should be given after this one, for it was too much. And it already felt like he was teaching almost an entire week to these students instead of about 40% of the week.

With all that in mind, he continued giving his class, but this time with a bit more free-class time in between and giving more of his ‘invaluable’ knowledge to his students. Which for him, those pieces of knowledge were just the simplest and easiest to understand. But for his students, they were insane thought-provoking lessons that they needed to go through over and over again before feeling like they had begun learning about them.

“... The Phrenic realm cultivators only need to amass enough Power Energy to break through the Spirit Gathering realm. As I said before. But to progress through the Spirit Gathering realm, one needs to feed their ‘connection’. I have already given previous words about if there was some importance to the ratio used to feed it and how.”

“In this realm, cultivators can now send their Power Energy outside of their bodies, no longer just attached to their bodies and impossible to make contact with anything. However, it is purely limited to the tools and weapons they have in hand as well as equipment, of course. On the other hand, the Spirit Gathering realm cultivations have their biggest lifespan increase yet, for a total of 300 years extra in your lives.”

“It is the Spirit Gathering realm that is the most important among these 7 realms of cultivation, as the feeding of one’s ‘connection’ is what will determine the potential of one’s Power Energy and the usage that can be done with it.” Just as Ciemnosc was going through this part, a student raised his hand and asked. “Teacher, what stage are you in the Spirit Gathering realm?”

“10th stage,” Ciemnosc responded without giving it any care before continuing. “Having 800 years of lifespan is enough for anyone to reach the peak of the Spirit Gathering realm. Nobody in history has failed to do so unless they were rogue, wandering cultivators outside of any organization. As for the reason why there are so few Conflagrate realm cultivators, the reason is too simple: mortality rate when crossing into that realm.”

“While the Spirit Gathering realm allows you to use your Power Energy to enhance any weapon, tool, or item in your hands, or simply that is in contact with your skin, the Conflagrate realm allows you to send deathly techniques outside of your body; almost making it look as if one can finally send their Power Energy out of their bodies, but that is not really the case.”

“One’s techniques, and even certain intricate skills, can be sent out of one’s body in the Conflagrate realm. And though the consumption of one’s Power Energy isn’t even remotely large, the control one needs to launch such attacks is beyond what you think it might take. However, there is a good thing, and though it is rather slow and extremely taxing, one can fly after becoming a Conflagrate realm cultivator.”

“Wooo...!” There was some mild excitement in the classroom as Ciemnosc said these words, calming quickly without him even needing to give a glare all around like a grumpy, old teacher.

“I would speak of the ways to become a Conflagrate realm, but I can’t without being in that specific variety of class nor without the academy’s consent since all of you are still too low of cultivation or without even having started, still ordinary people. You have a lot of work to do, and if you don’t manage to do it with my words, then you never may.” Ciemnosc’s voice never once did it stop being so indifferent and flat, sometimes cold and sometimes just a little cold.

… After giving his first lengthier class and his third class altogether, Ciemnosc returned to his Creature-service building, which was now almost halfway done; but from which the first ‘few’ wildlife and Creatures he had bought were already there. And the rest would only come next week.

When he arrived there, a crazy and ‘loving’ Fatima was waiting for him tonight. Together, they started working on the construction of his building and took care of the Creatures around. While Fatima played with some wildlife when they finished most of the work the next day. During their work time. However, Fatima, the perverted, continued to drag Ciemnosc, the innocent, into depraved things. But even though the boy fell prey to her clutches, he returned in kind whatever she dared do to him.

In the end, when returning to their bedroom, they were welcomed with yet another warm dinner and liquor that only worked to give them a taste of ‘just another drink’ and did nothing to get them drunk. Even when they wanted to try becoming drunk, they felt their bodies turning funny for a moment or two at the very most.

… On the 7th day, another class began. It was only 1 week since Ciemnosc had started teaching in the department. But he was already known to the full academy as the first Gifted, first Genius, great first Chief in Command, and now as an amazingly great teacher at first starters in the way of cultivation.

There was a little bit of drama, indeed. There were some snarky little crafty teachers and old teachers in the academy who tried approaching a ton of his students without even bothering to hide it and were even blunt about it. However, there came surprises as the teachers and old teachers tried stealing students from Ciemnoscut were, instead, asked things like ‘how could you not know of the medicinal herbs and plants to cure venom and poison?’ or ‘how can you mix them like that? One could die if they use just one wrong depending on the poison or venom!’.

However, as Ciemnosc’s students tried to study and drive away the teachers who only majored in one subject or profession; or from both types of studies and Ciemnosc built his new job, the teachers and old teachers were slowly left befuddled as… they had to study it all over again.

In truth, it wasn’t their fault. Many teachers and old teachers focused heavily on one thing, even if they had other professions or themes of study. Giving priority to one of the professions was already difficult, let alone giving classes all about it, and that included some more stuff that didn’t seem to connect at first. It was all their work to have it make sense to their students and the like.

They couldn’t all be Ciemnosc, who knew everything, and even seemed to know more than this world offered for some reason. Though undoubtedly, not knowing the most basic and obvious problems to be solved somewhat made these teachers and old teachers realize their current experienced selves and what they might’ve been missing in the past; and all along.

During these days of teaching, building, and preparing methods to rear this wildlife and these Creatures, Ciemnosc ignored anything else though. Thus, he didn’t know there was an ongoing attempt to have Ciemnosc’s classes become more spread, even if just to more students within his department. It was a kind of solidarity move from the teachers and old teachers, be it the ones who tried to act dirty or heard about him and listened to some of his words through other students’ mouths. Be it their own family or from someone they just asked.

It was even more surprising for every teacher looking to know more about why Ciemnosc was such a monumental influence on these students when they realized that they didn’t even need to exchange some knowledge or need to ask Ciemnosc for permission. They could just ask, and when some teachers asked why the students didn’t seem to care, doubting the students’ hearts and loyalty to their teacher imparting their precious knowledge upon them, the truth left them flabbergasted.

It was simple, a: ‘teacher doesn’t mind’ few words were enough to have all teachers who were curious as to why Ciemnosc didn’t do anything to stop his students from spreading his talks. It sounded so short and simple. Too brief and without substance… but it somehow felt like the absolute truth, and nobody seemed capable of either doubting it or denying it.

In the end, it was on the very 7th day’s very early morning that some meetings were happening all around the academy all for the sake of spreading such knowledge to even more people that were to attend Ciemnosc’s classes.

These meetings were having clear and non-malicious thoughts. It was knowledge they were talking and debating about after all. However, whenever there was any greedy old fellow who mentioned something in discord with the purpose of such sudden meetings on this day, they would just proceed to ignore said greedy one, no matter their actual status within the academy.

Those meetings were to be going for quite a few days, but while they were barely starting, Ciemnosc was walking through the long hallways of ‘his’ department. Crossing through the small classroom, which is just traditional, he soon arrived at the main classroom and saw every face that was supposed to be there present. With everyone behaving so well and taking seats, mostly decently, and still some horny fellas around, he started his 4th class.
