Chapter 558 — The Battle Of The Soaring Dragon (5)

The Battle Of The Soaring Dragon (5)

"Permission granted." A voice suddenly startled Blauw Ishikyy, who held her medallion close to her right ear. But she rapidly recognized the owner, and her eyes widened. However, before she could loudly claim his name as the communications channel was cut off, Ornament flashed into existence and floated before her. Before Blauw Ishikyy could say anything after this series of events, she felt her body float towards it, and to her delight, it opened and let her control it!

‘Imperial Teacher…’ Blauw Ishikyy looked at Heian Ciemnosc as he closed the cabin of his Fighter, and after several royal guards slipped in. She looked back at them and wanted to let them go, but Heian Ciemnosc won her to it and opened his mouth to say, “Shut it. You will need them, most likely. Behave and go ahead. I will keep things clear here.”

“Mn…” Blauw Ishikyy returned her face towards Heian Ciemnosc behind the cabin’s windows and acquiesced before looking to the front from the pilot’s seat. Heian Ciemnosc watched her go as his Ornament zoomed in the distance, and the hill she had gone to pursue a few fleeing enemy cultivators, smeared with blood and fleshy remains, became lonely again. Heian Ciemnosc looked a few seconds at the last place where her dot disappeared from before turning to look at the west, and his body floated into the air. One second later, his dark tail showed, and he zoomed inland.

Peeeeeeeeewww…~... … … … Whoooooooooooosh~! Peeew…! From afar, from a fourth point of view, Heian Ciemnosc and his Ornament were streaking in the opposite direction. The sea territory was only a few tens of kilometers away from the battle, still ongoing, with Fighters threatening the safety of the Empire’s First and Second fleets, whose Carriers were vastly damaged after the last bout from the enemy Carriers and Supreme Battleships.

On the other hand, on the inland side of the 2, the Blue Emirate Grotto’s individual territory was in flames. Tanks from both sides were littered here and there, caught in fire, and with most of them had charred corpses on top of their armor. Those with corpses lying atop were the enemy’s, whose people couldn’t help move the bodies out, and the flaming tanks without anybody on top were the Empire’s, whose soldier units rapidly helped move bodies away from after they exploded.

It was simple for Second Step cultivators to not get hurt by the missiles’ flames after they exploded. As long as they knew a Fire technique, they could protect themselves from it or move them away. They didn’t need Fire elemental affinity, only enough knowledge and practice. However, and right now, every soldier unit was focused on flooding the Blue Emirate Grotto’s territory with nothing else but the flames of destruction.

… As Heian Ciemnosc flew where his Spirit Sense caught the sight of a few hundred leading figures and hierarchy from the top 7 organizations, Blauw Ishikyy rapidly met the battlefield where thousands of enemy Fighters clashed against thousands of the First and Second Carrier’s Fighters. She immediately identified the enemy’s largest congregation and rushed in. The Empire and enemy Fighters recognized the Ornament immediately but didn’t know who was aboard except for the Empire’s navy.

“Wooooooouuuuu!” - “Wuuuuuuhaaaaaaa!!” - “Wouuuuuuuuuuuuaaahwaaaa!”

As Blauw Ishikyy arrived at the battle and directly swarmed into the enemy’s ranks, her machine guns fired, and her missiles were kept beside her as they began only exploding after she entered the group of enemy Fighters. The Blauw Empire’s soldier units roared the sound of glory from their mouths, cheering on in the battle and becoming emboldened to keep massacring the enemy in the sky that only stayed to revenge their side’s failure!

Ta- rarararara! Pum! Pum! Pum! Pum! Boooom~~! Swviiing-! Psh! Bang- boom! Whooosh!

“...!” Blauw Ishikyy held the pilot’s controls as her Spirit Sense worked the hell out of the Ornament, swimming within hundreds of enemy Fighters who couldn’t target her individually without accidentally hitting their allies. However, after 10 seconds, groups of dozens of Fighters returned from fighting outside their groups and started hunting the Ornament! Blauw Ishikyy began speeding amidst the enemy Fighters, letting her missiles, kept closely against her teacher’s Ornament, shot into an angle.

Those missiles either exploded her pursuers or a large concentration of enemy Fighters behind a barrier created by several enemy Bulldog Fighters, keeping the Empire’s toys from reaching those enemy Fighters preparing behind them in the sky. Meanwhile, the Ornament’s machine guns rotated nonstop, concentrating at least 3 bullet bursts towards any enemy Fighter she found. Their structure was rapidly perforated, with their nucleus breaking apart, deteriorating with every tic. Their pilot was shot dead, and the piloting team’s maneuver experts were targeted as well.

Each 3 bullet bursts from one of the Ornament’s machine guns was equal to any enemy Fighter disabled, and some directly exploded. The few artillery guns the Ornament had installed were at all work, immediately focused on targeting the enemy Fighters with the best angles to blast more of those Fighters in collateral damage. More than 2 enemy Fighters went down with each of her artillery guns’ shelling. If she wasn’t so close and behind the unprepared enemy Fighters, it wouldn’t be so easy for any massive weapon to cause this much destruction. It also helped that Blauw Ishikyy was hellishly trained by a pale somebody.

“... Follow me! Follow her!! For the Empire!!!” From outside, the commander of all Fighters from the First fleet’s Carrier shouted loudly in his coms. The Fighters in his command loudly shouted in response and followed after his dozen Fighters already in formation. Without fear, the First fleet’s Carrier’s Fighters rushed into the enemy barrier their Bulldogs had created. Launching dozens of missiles per formation and breaking apart a huge hole before pouring inside.

“AAAH!” - “Take this hatred, fuckers! FUCKERS!!” - “This Region was never yours… just fucking die already!” - “Protect the royal princess!” - “Leave that to me! You guys keep making the old man content. I’ll follow her with my team and not let these bastards overwhelm her. The Second fleet’s Fighters will join me later… Kill the enemy!!” - “HUAAAAA~!” - “HUA!!” - “HUAA!!”

Ta rarararararararara~~~! Pfiuh, pfiuh~...! Boom! Boom! Bang! BOOOOOOM!

Blauw Ishikyy continued flying the Ornament, moving from the inside without a care and suddenly jerking left and right to avoid the suicidal enemy trying to bring her down with them. The Ornament was like an unbridled kid quickly running among the crowd, avoiding deathly accidents and carrying explosions in his hands, letting them fall each time she had to dodge a bullet towards sure death.

Yet, those machine guns never ceased heating their barrels, although such things never happened to these top-notch toys. Missiles continued exploding after Blauw Ishikyy launched them, and she must’ve just been lucky because one of her missiles unleashed a chain reaction that ended with a couple hundred enemy Fighters, astounding even the three Admirals below. A large gap appeared within the enemy’s Fighter formation holding the barrier, and it rapidly fell down to receive the Empire’s navy full-scale of their arsenal.

Blauw Ishikyy looked for 2 seconds before resuming her fighting. The Ornament drifted in the air before shooting into another group of enemy Fighters, with their barriers still up and the 2 elite couple hundred Fighters of the Empire following after her like she was the most precious gem in the world. Blauw Ishikyy drove her Ornament into the next group of enemies. Already knowing the drill, the Ornament and the Empire’s elite Fighters wreaked havoc on the subsequent enemy Fighter groups, one after another, without resting, and the rest of the Empire fleets’ Fighters followed suit.

… In less than 10 minutes, the enemy Fighters were hunted in the hundreds by the Ornament and the Empire’s navy Fighters, freeing the sky from 30,000 enemy Fighters and littering the ocean with their sinking remains as if they were swallowed by the sea. A few enemy cultivators still flew around, and the Fighters following the Flotillas hunted down while the Carriers’ Fighters returned to repair and resupply.

Whoosh- ta- rarararararara- clink, clank claaaank! Bang, bang- boom! Whoooshhh, pew~!

Blauw Ishikyy was somewhat exhausted mentally, and her Neutral Energy reserve had been consumed to around 40%. However, she was still chasing after an escaping enemy Fighter from a few tens of kilometers away, and it was a SC type. However, no Fighter was faster than the Ornament. Her machine guns caught up to it, and with a calculated notion, Blauw Ishikyy fired the machine guns following a trajectory.

The enemy SC Fighter immediately changed course, but the moment it did, its back was prickled until bullets rained from the rear to the front, escaping from the cabin like a shotgun firing at point blank. The enemy Fighter exploded after its nucleus, and a couple missiles went off, falling to the sea immediately while Blauw Ishikyy kept flying the Ornament forward. The other Fighters from the Flotillas chased after enemy flying cultivators. They were hopeless.

“... Admirals, is there anything else I can do?” Blauw Ishikyy communicated with the Second, Third, and Fourth Admirals as she sped towards the northeast. The Second Admiral calmly responded after a few seconds. “All fleets are moving to intercept the enemy from the Undermudmusk Region… Royal princess, just wait for the rest of the warships to catch up before-”

“I’m leaving first then,” Blauw Ishikyy silently said before facing the nose of the Ornament to the ocean, igniting the smallish engine on its belly. The Second Admiral was startled after hearing the royal princess’s words when she heard a large ‘pew’ sound in the distance and peeked outside her command center module to see a wide distortion of air a hundred kilometers away. She looked at the circular disruption filled with smoke, and the long contrail zoomed in the distance, feeling baffled. “...”

… Futomp~! -Ta rarararararararara!- BOOOOOOOOM~! Ta rararararararararararara! Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh- clank clank clinkkk!

“!” Blauw Ishikyy stopped her sudden outburst of speed when she arrived at another battlefield. It was already a mess, with 3 Fleets moving around the fortified islands! She saw so many bullet rains everywhere that she became dizzy for a moment, understanding this enemy had all arsenal and was even starting to destroy the first defensive shield of the fortified islands at Front 1. An enemy Fleet was going all-out against Front 1 while being supported by another 2 enemy Fleets, whose trajectory was to surround the rest of the fortified islands, and Fortress was already starting to receive firepower from the second enemy Fleet.

Front 2 would receive the enemy in no time, but Blauw Ishikyy recognized she couldn’t do the same as before, as the enemy hadn’t even brought their Fighters outside their Carriers. She wanted to contact the First Admiral, but as if she had been seen through, her communication channels opened, and the First Admiral’s voice sounded. “Royal princess, get down already! The enemy might know who you are! They have Hana-Saga realm cultivators! You’ll temporarily become part of my defensive Fighter force. Come down!”

“I’m com- ah!” Blauw Ishikyy was just responding when an enemy Fighter formation flew towards her, directly opening fire and sending a dozen missiles after her. They had definitely found her unique, well-known Fighter to be the Ornament. As for who piloted it, they may still not know it. Blauw Ishikyy maneuvered before nose-diving towards Fortress, where the First Admiral commanded the fortified islands from.

The enemy Fighters followed suit, entering the Fortress’s line of fire and becoming metal chunks after a couple seconds, failing to produce any substantial damage to the Ornament. Blauw Ishikyy only felt some bullets deflect from the Ornament’s tough armor, fired the machine guns a little, and took 2 enemy Fighters down before they were obliterated by the hundreds of defensive machine guns on the Fortress.

Back inland, as a few thousand Fighters took off towards the sea, Heian Ciemnosc kept flying westwards. His dark coat barely fluctuated, although his speed was faster than a Second Step tank.

Whooooooossshhhhh~~! Peeew~! Heian Ciemnosc felt his body breaking the air wherever he went as his dark tail was calm at his rear. His pale hands suddenly sounded with ‘pshift- click’ as his dark claws appeared. His feet also went Claws Out, and his dark fangs took shape in his mouth. Vocón Link silently came out from his right wrist and entwined around his arm, upwards his shoulder before stopping.

Pshift! Whoosh, pshift pshift pshift- whiplash! Paaaahh~!

Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes widened a little as his right arm thrust forward. His Vocón Link lashed out, and as his body zoomed in for the last time, he appeared behind a couple hundred cultivators flying at top speed, riding their mounts and some flying devices. When they heard something from behind, their faces were surprised, but they weren’t shocked, scared, or terrified at the prospect of being attacked.

They didn’t see the attack coming from Heian Ciemnosc’s Vocón Link, but they soared in aura, prepared to fight, employing all their Neutral Energy to face off whoever chased them. However, the Vocón Link simply ‘hit’ the air in the middle between everyone else. The impact immediately sent waves outwards, pushing the couple hundred cultivators’ bodies away and destroying their bodies for those who were nearest to the epicenter.

Whoosh! Grab! Crack! Whoosh…! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!...

Heian Ciemnosc didn’t let the others react. The still, more than a hundred cultivators stopped their bodies from being flung away any further. But the next moment, one of them felt their necks colder. Heian Ciemnosc’s pale face appeared in their retinas, but before they could say something, and as their Spirit Sense was forcefully cut off in the air before it could extend to someone else, Heian Ciemnosc tightened his grip on the cultivator’s neck slightly, killing them instantly as their necks shrunk to a baby wrist’s size.

Heian Ciemnosc didn’t stop there, and his body flashed in and out of the couple hundred cultivator’s sights, appearing in front of one and then of another, gripping their necks until they became blood and wrung out the skin as their faces went flaccid and their heads rolled in the air for hundreds of meters before splattering on the ground or dividing in a tree’s shrub.

His appearance was already obvious, and everyone could see the dark tail and claws he flashed around whenever he stopped to kill. However, they failed to see the Vocón Link that remained in the middle, suspended, and falling towards the ground. But instead of aiding their dying, these cultivators surrounded a small group of their people and faced Heian Ciemnosc with notorious hatred but lacked fear.

“Heian Ciemnosc!!”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc let go of the pretty woman in his hands whose tongue shook nonstop before her headless torso fell in the air, followed by her rolling head midair, swinging violently because of her long, white hair. His darkest eyes narrowed, and he tilted his head to the right and lifted his chin leftwards. He eyed the prey that gathered together and protected the Grottoes, Wyrm Lord Nation, and True Dragon House’s leading figures. These were the last remaining upper echelons who didn’t appear in the battle before the Blue Emirate Grotto’s territory fell.

“We have waited for you!” An upper echelon said with a growing Dantreulity realm 2nd stage cultivation base. The others surrounding their leaders joined the fray and started showcasing their might before the acclaimed, undefeatable little black monster from the Wrath Nihility Academy. “It’s good that you’ve come out of your turtle shells. Did you come ready to wipe our asses? We’ll get them dirty for you.”

“Hahaha, you’ve fallen for it? Ah! You have! Prepare yourself, little black monster!” - “Heian Ciemnosc, hmm. What a good name. We could’ve been friends, I can tell that much, but you’ve chosen to antagonize us, kid. That’s… unfortunate.” - “It’s time to end a rising legend. Heh! And to think you were seen as a possible legend in the rise of the new Change. How pathetic!”

“Sands?” Heian Ciemnosc directly ignored the talkative enemy's upper echelons and crossed his arms. His pale hands went to his shoulders and under his armpits to stretch and scratch himself with pleasure. His darkest eyes, however, were lightly locked onto the Sand Emirate Grotto’s Grotto Master, Orsome, and Vice master, Orsome. Their expressions turned went from stern to startled, and they stepped backwards while the other top 4 organizations’ leaders gave them a side glance as if expecting them to respond swiftly.

“I see, so you don’t even need me to do a speech, huh? Oh, thank you,” Heian Ciemnosc said. His tone was light, but his mood was seemingly cheerful. It was strange, but it seemed fit. Heian Ciemnosc then ignored them and looked at the rest of the upper echelons surrounding their leaders as a dark, playful glint flashed across his darkest eyes as they narrowed slightly more, nearly turning into slits.

“Who the hell invited you?”

Flaaaawwwwsshhh~! Crrreeesshhhhkk! Crrreeesshhhhkk! Ckrsheeeeeerrrrr~~!

Heian Ciemnosc lifted his right elbow, bringing with it countless tiny tendrils from below, which the enemy cultivators barely noticed. When they saw them, their hearts turned cold and clenched with fear. Before they could act, though, Heian Ciemnosc’s right dark claw faced the ground. His claws hung aimlessly, but he clenched them. When he did, each tendril pried open, revealing tiny dark blades… that immediately shot silently upwards, cutting into 2 everybody they reached. Like that, more than a hundred upper echelons were dealt with, and Heian Ciemnosc only had to raise his arm a little.

“!!!” The top 5 organizations’ survivors, now for real, couldn’t look directly at Heian Ciemnosc and kept their heads low. They gradually lifted them, but by then, Heian Ciemnosc’s pale red lips revealed a row of dark fangs and a few of them larger than the rest. His right dark claw’s clenched claws slowly released when one of them, the True Dragon House’s Head, shouted at him after rushing to float before Heian Ciemnosc.

“You were always hiding your strength, weren’t you? But that’s fine. It doesn’t matter even if you’re in the Hana-Saga realm. Look at this,” Monstorm said as he mimicked Heian Ciemnosc’s previous motion and lifted his right arm. His elbow bent, and his left palm held an item. It was a crystallized gauntlet and looked fashionable and delicate.

‘Oh? An Artifact? Oh… and everyone else also has it… Nice!’ Heian Ciemnosc looked at the item but kept his facial expression impassive. The others also showed their Artifact, a gauntlet with great defense and attacking might. Heian Ciemnosc had to say this Artifact was definitely one of the best types.
