Chapter 223 — Teacher Ciemnosc

Chapter 223 — Teacher Ciemnosc

Teacher Ciemnosc

In Ciemnosc and his team's bedroom. Within the dormitories and early in the morning.

Missa was looking at and playing with the piece of paper she had in her hands. It was a small piece of a mix between yellow and white, both pale and with a writing on it of a very dark ink. It was, in fact, darker than the ink that other such types of cultivator's 'tools' have. And it seemed more incredible because of it.

It had, now, been more than a week since the academy said goodbye to another million students and appointed a new ‘Chief in Command’ to the base near the Little Lake. In the minds of the students who were victims of propaganda for just a couple of days, and that was enough to convince them, the new Chief in Command was just going to continue with the previous Chief’s achievements just as much and even better, bla blah…

Meanwhile, other teachers and assistant teachers weren’t so well receiving of this change at the beginning. With time, even just days, everything was better, and the new Chief was getting more and more ‘meh, okay’ accepted.

On the other hand, Ciemnosc and his team, as well as those almost half a million that returned with him were spending their days with tranquility. They cultivated almost all day, sparing time for a meal every day and sometimes to do things during the night besides coitus. Ciemnosc, in particular, was extremely engaged in his knowledge about array formations and the ways that the world worked. He would, more often than not, seclude himself for a day and come out a little on another.

Step step step, step step.

At this moment, as Missa was looking at the paper in her hands, which was almost the size of her wrist, Ciemnosc came stepping up from down the stairs. He was cleaning his mouth from the little breakfast they made for him. He was now changed and didn’t smell of clothes from a week ago, which not even one’s Power Energy could take away from their overly used noses to him.

“Be careful with that. Remember that it is a one-time only.” Ciemnosc said as he looked at Missa, who didn’t even bother hiding her previous actions. Nobody could when around this monster Spirit Sense genius. Well, he is really a Genius indeed. She simply gave him a ‘frown’ and a pair of begrudging eyes before nodding her head as she looked at it. “I know, I know. You don’t have to be so demanding when we just fed you, you know?”

Ciemnosc, cleverly, said nothing in response and patted her head as he passed through her and then went directly to the outside through the large hallway to the door. Just as he was opening the door and about to take a step out, Missa peeked from the east wing of the room and wall, saying with a little exclamation in the name of all his teammates.

“Good luck in your new temporary job, mister teach!”

“...” Ciemnosc looked back, with a movement of his lips that somewhat looked to be that of a grin, before shaking his head slightly and closing the door while Missa showed him her big smile with her canines and all showing.

Afterwards, once he left the bedroom, Missa closed her lips but continued to smile. On the other hand, Gallah and the rest appeared, with Fatima and Gallah not having their top and Leen being the first to speak after Ciemnosc left. “I can’t believe they put him in such a boring job. How dare they~!”

“Eep!” Missa shrugged her shoulders when she saw her lover’s tatas being groped and massaged by the handsome fella, who then jerked Fatima back down the stairs. Before long, harsh slapping sounds sounded and made both Leen and Missa blink repeatedly. Maybe… today they could take another break from endless cultivation and meditation?

… Ciemnosc walked to his new little job, which was indeed no other than instructing the new cultivators of the academy to grow them into big brained students. Ciemnosc was asked such a thing just a few days ago, giving Ciemnosc a specific date to prepare himself or free himself from anything else. In fact, it seemed as if they wanted him to fully concentrate on teaching instead of cultivation; as if to halt his progress…

It was still slightly dark outside, but Ciemnosc could already see sunlight forming in the sky when he was just coming out of the bedroom. And once he was out of the dormitories, the light, clear blue of the sky was now showing a little as he continued to make his way towards the foot of the mountain.

Ciemnosc was completely at ease with his new little job. It was going to be 3 days of teaching every week, though strangely, such a job was ‘demanded’ by the academy for him to do basically in somewhat of a blackmail so that he wouldn’t see the court’s jury again for the time being. His session was left inconclusive, and most of the jury was simply unwilling to let such an adequate treasure be punished for… ‘nothing’ yet.

Whatever investigation could be going slow, but using Ciemnosc’s knowledge to begin training the new batch of students in the academy was definitely something they just couldn’t say no to. It was indeed weird that he got the job after he applied for a license so that he could manage his own Creature-renting service up the mountain, but he didn’t mind one bit. It was aight.

The results of his license were to be received by him tonight, and it was just right as his specifications weren’t too high. The location he wanted to build his own building for that matter was indeed tall in demand. But with the brand new spots around the mountain after the merging incident, it was more than clear that almost the whole mountain practically lacked enough Creature-renting services for all around it.

Some Creature-renting services were facing the side of the mountain where leading students and supervisors, more often than not, took their way up the mountain. While flying by oneself was so fascinating, one could get bored. The tiredness from it would also make it just embarrassing among other Conflagrate realm and Obsidiafying realm fellow cultivators. And big, powerful people like such had to take care of their image.

Thus, the other side had fewer buildings of Creature-renting services, only having 1 or 2 every few several floors of pathways. With the merging, there were even fewer such buildings every more floors all around the mountain. Even if Ciemnosc wanted a shallow floor around the mountain to build his own Creature-renting services, and he had asked for quite a lot for the range of his building which he himself would make, and he even selected the other sides of the mountain; it was to take a while to check everything up.

The place that Ciemnosc was going wasn’t to be around the mountain, nowhere on one of its floors. Instead, he was just going to the foot of the mountain, where some classes could be given. It was ‘could, specifically, because of the fact that the place Ciemnosc was to be going now wasn’t where students that already started cultivating would go. Maybe some would, but only within the early stages to late stages of the Spiritual Ligament realm, the very beginning of cultivation.

It was a department that had been brand newly constructed. It didn’t have anything that lacked, except for those who could teach these students, as even assistant teachers weren’t willing to teach them these quite obvious and unnecessary views of cultivation that everyone has instinctively. Even if leading students wanted to teach them all this, the academy wouldn’t allow it, they were very influential to the academy, and they just couldn’t waste their precious time.

As such, Ciemnosc was to take on the job!!

When Ciemnosc came closer to this department, he saw some 11 to 10 years old trying to mimic a few 16-year-olds eating each other’s mouths. He already felt as if he had grown older than even an old man for ordinary people. Nobody really noticed him at first as he entered the department, which consisted of a few buildings of only 1 floor, the main floor, but that was very large and incredibly spacious even from looking on an outsider’s perspective.

They were made of what seemed to be bricks, and there were about 4 different buildings, only 1 floor, but that was rather expansive. One even had a field in the middle and was of a ‘U’ shape surrounding that field. Others were clearly for water and aquatic purposes, which Ciemnosc became curious about right away.

When he entered through the large gates of the department’s main building’s main entrance, Ciemnosc was ignored as many students who were finally told they no longer had to pretend to read books inside a classroom and were going to have a teacher had already gone inside. It wasn’t allowed in other departments, but for these kind of departments, they were a normal thing to be allowed, even if a supervisor was around.

The other departments that dealt with the teachings of such things were different from this new one. Firstly, they were built in the past, when the academy was a turtle as a whole. Secondly, they were for the students’ families. And after so much time passed with no family losing its bloodline thoroughly, it was like everyone was a royal or a noble, and the newly recruited students from outside the filthy, dirty mortals; peasants.

Not this one, it was the first one to be built for newly recruited students from the outside, and it was supposed to hold up to a few thousand students all at the same time. But they had to wait every time for only one teacher to go around - which is now and at last… Ciemnosc himself…

As Ciemnosc went inside the main building, he saw only about a dozen or so little kids, of his age, around the hallways and looking at the different small classrooms. The hallway was incredibly long, and at the end of it was a letter that read about the fact that only one classroom was in use, which was the main classroom of the entire department. Only those who were at the end of the hallway were able to read it. While those still in the middle of inspecting the classroom to see where the teacher was would eventually see it.

Ciemnosc didn’t stop to look around. He had already done so with his eyes enhanced before entering the department as a whole. As such, he simply walked to the end of the hallway, which was more than 100 meters long. He took a couple of minutes before arriving there. He didn’t have anything out in his hands or below his armpits for attracting attention since that wasn’t needed for his job as a teacher. As a result, however, there were some little girls who wanted to ask him for directions and get their hands grabbed so he could bring them.

After simply resuming what that letter at the end of the hallways said, Ciemnosc continued on his tracks, leaving pouty little girls behind who didn’t get to be shown the way by this devilishly handsome boy.

Only when Ciemnosc stepped into the main classroom did he see a couple hundred students already filling up almost 8% of the whole classroom. He had to breathe in extensively and hold it in his chest for a good time before taking it all out. He wasn’t sure all of these seats that ‘had a name on it’ were to be occupied, but even half of them would be enough for him to not be able to cover them with his Spirit Sense… it was craaaaaaazy.

When he walked in, some glared at him. Upon noticing his more likeably age by his face and not his body, as if he was one of those crazy young girls who grew taller and ‘fatter’ in the most incredible of ways, they only locked their eyes on him for an extra couple of seconds before going back to meditate.

Seeing this, Ciemnosc felt at ease and peaceful. He also noticed that the chairs were seemingly somewhat made for the sake of meditation, and if one was capable enough, it could even be for cultivation. Knowing all of this, he felt like he would be very comfortable giving ‘his’ classes here and felt much more at ease than already. Even if he had already taught a lot of people at the same time before at his base, from being their only way to survive more to doing it because of a job… it was different alright. He now had a tiny % of understanding towards people who sold their bodies; not just for money. But not much more than that, as his respect was already enormous…

“...?” Murmur, murur…

However, when Ciemnosc began walking lower and lower to the lowest floors of the classroom, he attracted almost everybody’s attention. Immediately, he caught everyone’s attention once he went out of the seats for the new students, that was for everyone in this department, and directly stepped towards the podium!

“What is he doing. Is he here to do a prank?” - “I dun knoh. To me, it seems like he is just a boy?” - “He cute though, I’ll laugh off at anything he says…” - “...”

Now that Ciemnosc had virtually all the attention focused on him at this very moment, he gave a glance at the clock behind all the seats and in front of the podium before speaking in a low volume that yet reverberated everywhere softly. “There are still 12 minutes before the class starts. Let’s wait another 10 minutes after that in case not everyone knows where to go at first.”

“Oh, Genius Ciemnosc!” Someone who seemed to recognize him raised her little left hand into the air. She was all the way to the back of the classroom, somehow that could only be seen in insecure people, mostly with how she was hiding before Ciemnosc walked up to the podium. She added, “I can go and let everyone know where to go right away so that much time won’t be wasted, can I?!”

This was a little girl with a pair of ponytails and a cute, chubby face. It could be seen she was just a kid that was on her own,. Her voice, though shy, was headstrong, and a little stubborn even. Seeing her face, her information appeared inside Ciemnosc’s head, and he immediately recognized this little orphan ‘adopted’ by the academy itself through a program that was all around the west of the Region since the academy’s opening to the ‘world outside’.

“You can go ahead. Those 3 can help you.” Ciemnosc nodded flatly and with a flat tone. He also signaled to another 3 young women who stared incredulously at the little girl. When the ‘teacher’ pointed at them, still feeling incredulous even more of their ‘teachers’ age, they still stood up to help the tiny-bodied little girl with the task of informing their fellow students of where to go.

After the little girl and the 3 young women left. The classroom became deafeningly silent. Ciemnosc stood behind the podium and adopted a meditative state without closing his eyes. But his eyelashes were lowered, and only his eyebrows were clearly visible. It was a bit of a comical sight, but nobody thought about it too much.

On the other hand, feeling like this was beneath them. Some people began leaving. It was only among the dozens, and compared to the couple hundred that were already here, they were a good enough portion but not that good. Ciemnosc didn’t even blink or moved, a single digit as they left, but he knew they would wish they never did and would come back regretful the next day. He wasn’t going to hide his knowledge or something. He had to be high profile. Otherwise, he would be unfilial!

When the little girl and the 3 young women returned, they had a tail. This tail was almost a whole thousand new students just following them to their supposedly mixed class or to see if they were speaking the truth. When they followed to the end of the hallway, then passed through some interior, artificial gardens and another 2 hallways, finally arriving here… they became aware of the truth behind the little girl’s words as they entered the main classroom.

There were more following farther behind, but they were more spread out and not together in an orderly fashion like the tail that the little girl and the other 3 brought to the main classroom. This time, however, the little girl, as if she would die otherwise, ran to her old seat and picked up her stuff before rushing to thievery front of the classroom.

Ciemnosc saw all of this, from where she rushed with her little steps to when she was making her way down to the first seats, her face puffed up even more, appearing chubby+. Up until she sat at one of the seats right in front of the podium in a general direction and sat down with her big black eyes shining brighter than diamonds and the sun during a sunset.

“Is he the teach?” - “What tha hell?!” - “Shhh, sit down. You won’t regret it!” - “Who that b-” - “Shhh!” - “If you insult a teacher, you can be expelled as a new student! More so if you’re not from within the academy already, shhh!”

Ciemnosc, with time, saw as the thousands sat on their seats each. They chose seats that made them make long lines from the center of the main classroom to the sides instead of making little groups here and there, slowly and disorderly filling the classroom.

Before, this classroom might’ve been seen by some new students, and that is a truth, but none had remained here when they could just go to a more classical classroom that they might have even been in before joining the academy and pretend to read their books there where the sun at least illuminated it naturally. Here, not a single window was around, it was mostly dark for the students’ eats and only illuminated with focus at the podium where a boy was standing behind.

Before long, the thousand or so students sat down, and following after, but not right after were hundreds more. Little by little, hundreds more, and then dozens, came into the classroom. In the end, with Ciemnosc’s eyes, he calculated their total numbers to be around 70% of the total number of new students supposed to be here.

Among them were not only students from outside, but some from within the academy itself, even though it was built for the former in specific. Still, there was no way the academy would let some ‘meh’ students’ families study at these departments since they might not show enough talent for either cultivation or knowledge, becoming practically useless in the long run. Or were somewhat there just to see what’s up with the Genius despite showing a promising future and being from high- status-families from the academy.

“It’s class time, and since most of you have arrived, let’s not wait anymore. I’ll start now.” Ciemnosc opened his eyes fully to them, showing them his devilishly handsome face and causing hearts to feel with both envy and jealousy from both men and women and for some others to beat harsher, faster, and sonorously. Those who were cultivators and were beside the latter looked at them with disgust. He was just a kid!
