Chapter 666 — A New... Opportunity?

Chapter 666 — A New... Opportunity?

A New... Opportunity?

Heian Ciemnosc walked through the Carrier corridors. It was 2 days since he joined Loon and Oscilote that day, and he was now walking towards an even more respected module where, most of the time, only one person was present. As Heian Ciemnosc neared its entrance, the sightseeing module opened its entrance. Heian Ciemnosc stopped, but nobody came out. He understood it was a cordial invitation and entered it with a polite smile already forming on his face.

Knock, knock, knock… “Grandpa Fonso, it’s me, Heian Ciemnosc.” Heian Ciemnosc knocked confidently and slightly loudly before half-stepping into the sightseeing module. An oldie with bright blond hair and wide, green eyes looked back at a regulated pace, observing the irresistibly pale, handsome face before cracking and returning his sight to the universe. “Young black monster suits you just fine, kind. Haha. Sit here.”

Heian Ciemnosc walked towards the black cushion for 3, low height, and an extended rest for legs with 2 small plates at the sides, one for snacks and the other for drinks. The oldie had none, so Heian Ciemnosc opened one of the mini-fridges at the side and prepared lots of stuff with his dark Soul energy and Spirit Sense before returning to the oldie.

Heian Ciemnosc didn’t take more than a minute, and when he returned, grandpa Fonso was still looking at the blackness of everything as an occasional comet threatened to flash from an unknown distance not even he could see through. Heian Ciemnosc sat on the far left cushion while the grandpa sat on the far right. The latter tasted the drink and immediately smacked his lips, “Aah! I never realized how much I missed Little Mei’s fruity beverages. She spends most of her time with that carrier of a Bloodline lately. Doesn’t she?”

“Oh, they spent their time together a lot. Milyy is becoming better in nature as she learns more about herself. I believe she can become more formidable than anticipated if she were to continue down that path.” Heian Ciemnosc commented before gulping his drink and bringing a snack to his mouth.

“...” Silence prevailed until Heian Ciemnosc was munching with some crumbles of cookies and pastry matter on his cheeks, trying to keep more from exiting his mouth. Who told him to make such tasty food? But when he looked at grandpa Fonso, he realized he was being watched all this long by old, wise, assertive green eyes.

“Look at you, already talking like an expert.” Grandpa Fonso said, nudging her head just like elderly folk would while talking to a junior, and Heian Ciemnosc coughed inside his mouth. “Ahem… ah. Grandpa Fonso, I… hum…”

Heian Ciemnosc politely washed his mess with dark Neutral Energy. This was the oldie who taught him a lot of things he might’ve horribly made mistakes in if he hadn’t had as a half-mentor in his wars to come after arriving at the Wrath Nihility Academy and joining it. But when he processed his words, Heian Ciemnosc felt strange and tilted his head rightwards. “I… didn’t notice. Huh. Is it really so?”

“Har har,” grandpa laughed. He smacked his right thigh after crossing it over the other and looked at the universe with downturned eyes. Shaking his head, grandpa Fonso spoke in a low, somewhat grave, aged voice. “Nobody notices how old, mature, or capable one becomes if they don’t stop doing the same thing for years. It doesn’t change in cultivators’ lives. At least not entirely.”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc silently looked at the oldie. Grandpa Fonso started elaborating to his heart’s desire, “You haven’t led an army other than land forces. But, Heian Ciemnosc, that feeling of drowning in the leadership of an army isn’t going to wash away. It’s always there. At least for the small, well-reputed minority, we are.”

“When the desire is strong, it’s unavoidable. It is in our nature. We are born to become leaders of soldier and auxiliary units who die and sides that win. But what you felt back when you ordered but refused to command naval incomplete Fleets wasn’t fear or nervousness. You were just… afraid you might not want to let go of it after tasting its intricacy.”

“All of us go through it, child.” Grandpa Fonso said, explaining to his heart’s heaviness as he seemed to reminisce, and Heian Ciemnosc’s memories went back to the things Alyona and grandpa himself told him and the records he read through about the latter’s sudden absence before Alyona met him. Grandpa Fonso continued, “We decided to take a break. We either don’t feel we are enough or believe it’s not time yet.”

“However, child. While that might be true to your eyes now, it only works in the first time.”

“!” Heian Ciemnosc’s pitchest-blackest eyebrows rose in curiosity. Grandpa Fonso lowly sighed, but its heaviness could be heard. “The first time that happens, you understand more of yourself when you return to the role you were born to dominate. But, on the second chosen break, you realize how boring it is.”

“It is no longer meaningful, and you fight to discover what and why you should feel. Failing miserably all the time only to realize it was nothing. There’s no need for a break or a ‘second opinion’ of sorts… If, after the first break, you do return to this innate vocation, there is nothing else to be spoken. You’ve returned. That’s it. You were made for this. Failing to accept it. Be it by humbleness, superficiality, or vanity… It’s failing yourself, your instincts… everything one can consist of.”

“So, when the time comes, kid, and you think a second break will serve you well… Don’t go through the same wasted, old, terrible mistake. Like most of us old folk do. If you do, it’s up to you.” Grandpa Fonso said, lightly shaking his head in remorse.

“... I understand, and… Grandpa Fonso,” Heian Ciemnosc called out to the oldie, enjoying the peacefulness of black nothingness. The grandpa looked to his left, in which Heian Ciemnosc’s hands supported a 10 million Stones Mini Warlord table game board. “I have felt that, too. In my time at the Blackotia Kingdom, and when I see my superiors lording over their battles… My break was a mistake, too. I am made for killing, and my methods, strategies, and tactics that are just part of my nature.”

“...” Grandpa Fonso looked at Heian Ciemnosc with inexpressive, wise green eyes. Then, suddenly, he smiled and slapped Heian Ciemnosc’s back while gesturing to the cushion between them. “Haha! Come, put it here. Ah! I wanted to play this with you so many times. I made some of my pals let me test things with them before figuring out the definitive answer. The Universal Land so-called union won’t make a space battle simulator in their lifetime! Too afraid to raise mighty challengers. Ha! As if nobody knew how thin yet surmountable-wall-like their positions as rulers of a Universal Land is.”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc offered no words and let the old man speak of how much greater he would be if he had been the one in the Existential Sixth Step organizations’ leaders’ shoes. From the moment Heian Ciemnosc declared his inexperienced view, becoming slightly experienced in the world’s standards for old timers, and the grandpa spoke of so many things the world did wrong but never noticed or did yet still did nothing to stop it, the board was set and prepared to be used.

“Woah…” Heian Ciemnosc exclaimed. The grandpa nodded, looking at the board projecting a hologram showing 2 different screens to both sides. Heian Ciemnosc immediately registered with his Universal Conveyance while grandpa Fonso suddenly set the rules. Those rules, however, excited Heian Ciemnosc as he understood why he complained that no space battle simulators would be developed worldwide.

“Hm, this how we’ll play.” Grandpa Fonso said, licking his lips and narrowing his green eyes to pose for a serious stance. “The mounted soldier units are Frigates, archers are Destroyers, the more there are, the greater their class. And mounted archers are Cruisers. Each army section of warriors is a Battleship. 20,000 are a Low class while 100,000 a Supreme class.”

“Make it a custom match. Set 1,000,000 soldier units for each type. Only like this can we set the boundaries and the following rules… I might have taught you many things you should avoid, young black monster. But now, I will evaluate whether you can continue seeing me and… learn from me, my peers, and the Crimsonbreaking Faction as the Leader you can become.” Grandpa Fonso gave no room to Heian Ciemnosc to speak.

“If you can demonstrate you have those chances, I will no longer ‘precaution’ you. I will become your mentor, kid. With your Master’s permission, I will teach you everything I know and those I wish I knew. It’s all on you to decipher your path from thereon, but only if you succeed.”

“!!” Heian Ciemnosc didn’t expect this. He immediately gulped, sat upright, and chose the match settings before declaring. “Grandpa, I won’t ever betray your trust in me. This is a weight I welcome. Let me show you I won’t hide anymore.”

“Good!” Grandpa Fonso sternly exclaimed. He focused on the battlefield and its terrain with smooth plains, hills in between, and rocky-rooty land where the soldier units could move in varying, numerical ways. Thus, the battle session that lasted hundreds of headache-inducing, depression-enhancing Heian Ciemnosc suffered started.

… The battles went on for hours. After Heian Ciemnosc got the hang of it, he fought grandpa Fonso equally. The Low Battleships fought with a few groups of hundreds of warriors confronting each other while they sent a warrior or a group of the same to launch a suicidal attack on another spaceship, be it another Battleship or of a lower caliber.

Frigates moved everywhere, intercepting every possible movement, even separating from the main ‘armada’ as Heian Ciemnosc was constantly backstabbed where, when, and in ways he least expected. He learned to cover, even his in-game pants, to see if the enemy was sneaking around him.

Destroyers were lethal, the most dangerous kind in these battles, as Heian Ciemnosc learned to protect and secure the destruction of the enemy before they did too much damage to him. As for the Cruisers, they were fast and too efficient in whichever possible task grandpa Fonso sent them but were reduced to defensive fortresses in Heian Ciemnosc’s hands against the former.

Heian Ciemnosc learn to equal grandpa Fonso in battle, commanding his troops and setting them on the right track, but he would still be crushed. Sometimes slowly, and others in one go. Heian Ciemnosc was obliterated one way or another, time and again, and mercilessly.

Heian Ciemnosc spent the following 3 days preparing snacks, debating hard whether to poison the damned grandpa or continue suffering. Time passed, and Heian Ciemnosc learned to prolong the battle. He was still massacred whenever the oldie found the timing and the correct spots because Heian Ciemnosc was surpassed from several angles at once, even if slowly.

Finally, Heian Ciemnosc discovered not only how to prolong the battle. But also to quicken it by causing grandpa Fonso to witness near-defeat experiences that made him slightly widen his eyes. Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t content, but the grandpa was the one to rule. Thus, when Heian Ciemnosc was too comfortable leading many troops in many different ways, at the same time and different situations, the grandpa decided it was enough.

With a pat on his back and a ‘maybe, maybe not’ answer to Heian Ciemnosc questioning him if that was enough and he could learn from him, grandpa Fonso expelled the young man who nearly made him sweat externally. Because his inner body surely dropped sweat from within.

. . .

At last, Heian Ciemnosc bid farewell to his possible mentor. He took a transporting vehicle, acted as a pillow for a young girl, and dropped himself before a close-quarter combat training module. There, as the young girl was left to doze off in comfort. Heian Ciemnosc entered and saw Grietta and Tania giving an elite class to Third Step cultivators. From Soldiers to Officers, they were here.

“... Class,” Tania and Grietta looked at Heian Ciemnosc in surprise but elation. Tania spoke teasingly, making it appear as if they were an Academy when everyone curiously gazed at the intruder with frowns, Heian Ciemnosc. With that introduction, Heian Ciemnosc felt the mental pressure on him to weigh less. He took a few steps forwards, and Tania smiled deviously before raising her voice, “Come sit over here at the front. You’re a very talented kid, aren't you? Come, come. We only bite after class.”

“Hahaha, so this the young black monster, ah?” - “Heeey~, he pretty!” - “What that face do?!” - “Slide on it and tell us!” Heian Ciemnosc walked through his fellow ‘classmates’ without blushing. Not that he could blush. He glanced at the bold ladies who shouted their impulses and those who blushed while smiling at him. Heian Ciemnosc expelled a breath before sitting on the floor before the ‘teachers’ Tania and Grietta.

“... Where were we?” Grietta and Tania looked down at the dumb, pale ‘boy’ staring up at them for once before the former asked everyone else. The atmosphere became a little lighter, but the lecturers remained stern and strict as when Heian Ciemnosc showed up. The other cultivators roared as if in the middle of a battle, “Elemental energy in combat in space!! Space, close-combat space battles with spaceship support!!”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc was slightly astounded. He wasn’t allowed to attend these lectures in his first months in the world when he was picked up by Alyona in the middle of nowhere. Now that he was experiencing it, he felt Alyona was too naughty. Heian Ciemnosc focused on the ‘class’ like everyone else. But this also caused smiles on the lecturers’ faces. Whenever they looked at Heian Ciemnosc, his darkest eyes were stuck on them, looking adorable to die for. Nothing to do with the gaze he gave them when he pumped them beneath him or against any structure.

A couple hours later, with a few demonstrations with the lecturers doing the hard work, the cultivators took mental notes and frowned as they pondered. Heian Ciemnosc did the same, and he was even more curious about the possibilities of those methods and how they came to be invented… His mind was doing it again, but he couldn’t help it.

After the lecture, when everyone took their leave, Tania and Grietta stalled Heian Ciemnosc. When everyone had left, Grietta approached him before Tania, slightly sweaty after participating in the melee demonstrations. Her toned, sexily defined, sweaty abs flashed with the perfect lighting before planting him a lovely pecking kiss. Their lips are atop each other, with Grietta’s upper lip at the top.

After the kiss, what was initially a closed-eyes tender moment between lovers and Grietta’s right hand on his clothed abdomen became a little more heated. Her hand traveled down, pushing his clothes apart as his pelvis and navel were caressed by her skin. Then, his base was played with, teasing him to hell.

Tania followed after, grabbing Heian Ciemnosc’s neck and straddling his torso before engaging in a long session of lovely kissing. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t know if they had eaten something strange today or if Alyona had told them some things and given them some extra permissions. But, apparently, his scent improved… Heian Ciemnosc credited it to the 6th level of his [All-Devouring Force Chronicles].

… Over the following days, Heian Ciemnosc attended a few more classes from the early morning to late night. He still didn’t want to return to the headquarters, although he did notify his Eternal Return Team of the delicate operation they were going to in 2 months.

Thus, Heian Ciemnosc calmly spent his time in the Carrier, just like the first few days he experienced in the past, and learned from the close-quarter combat lectures Grietta or Tania, or both, gave other Soldiers. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t attend other classes since he only had so much time before reuniting with his Team, and everything returned to normal. Because, currently, he could do whatever he wanted. And that was clearly a preferential treatment.

When only Tania lectured, after the lecture, Heian Ciemnosc stayed to either spend time cuddling or sitting together and having a meal, or kissing at best, just like teenagers. When Heian Ciemnosc assisted with Grietta-only’s lectures, they would sit together, with Grietta somehow finding a way to put her bum against his crotch, even if just lightly, in a semi-amicable, semi-flirty way. However, one thing remained, Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t allowed any sexual activity, and the ‘deepest’ Heian Ciemnosc went with Grietta was smooches on each other’s cheeks, and she tugging his tube for a few minutes, no more.

After 4 days, Heian Ciemnosc had no more time to spend elsewhere. Traveling between the lectures and his wives’ residences inside the Carrier, Heian Ciemnosc’s life was extremely pleasant. But after 2 weeks spent reliving memories, making more, and broadening them with new members in his life, Heian Ciemnosc had to return to the headquarters.

However, in his last lecture, as Tania sat on his lap and violated his mouth endlessly…

“Mwuaah~!” Tania separated their faces, slurping the saliva hanging between their lips and suckling Heian Ciemnosc’s one last time before keeping her arms, lightly hugging his neck and saying with a tilted head to the left. “Hong Mei just contacted me. The little Sunflour you passed to her has shown a change. Want to go see it?”

“Really?” Heian Ciemnosc blinked, surprised. Tania nodded energetically, almost as vigorously as Sara would. She stood up and helped Heian Ciemnosc before continuing as they walked out of the training module and woke the young woman dozing off on its front seat. “Yep. she said you had to go there, something about a really important decision in many ‘peoples’ lives.”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc’s expression became unreadable, and he tilted his head to the left, pensive. Tania woke the young woman and placed her to the far right as she drove the transporting vehicle, and Heian Ciemnosc sat in between them. Then, she spoke, “Mn. It might be something important, don’t you think?... Huh…”

Tania looked down and saw the young woman look at Heian Ciemnosc dumbly. The young Soldier shrugged and leaned on Heian Ciemnosc’s lap to rest. As Tania observed along the way, she realized the position the Soldier got herself into and grinned… deviously.

“Tania…” Heian Ciemnosc looked down before staring at Tania, somewhat warning her. Tania stuck her tongue out, and her brown skin suddenly became brighter as Heian Ciemnosc felt his trunk taken out of its hideout and as the rest struck the sleeping young woman on his lap. Tania refused to listen to reason and guided the glans to the Soldier’s mouth, letting in completely as a corrupted Heian Ciemnosc surrendered to the sudden bout of pleasure after his daily teasing by Tania.

“Hahhh…” Heian Ciemnosc closed his eyelids as the mere sensation of entering a throat wrapped him in dismay. The young woman did nothing, not even move her tongue or close her lips, yet it only made the situation more unstoppable. Before Heian Ciemnosc knew it, he discharged, stuck in her throat, as they arrived before the core’s magnificently colossal gates.

“Tania!” When Heian Ciemnosc was finished finishing, and the throat he was inside moved to constrict him, as if liking what just happened, he looked at his violator that forced him to violate a sleeping confidant. Couldn’t they at least have woken her up?!

“Shhh, she’s still dormant. Come. Before your scent drills into her brain, and she’s enslaved like the rest of us! Besides, isn’t that helpful to her cultivation path? She’d have less trouble stabilizing and solidifying her foundations, thanks to your sperm!” Tania said, pulling Heian Ciemnosc’s arm and reminding him why she was so dangerous, and Alyona warned him of her multiple times.

Heian Ciemnosc hurriedly hid the pale behemoth and accommodated the Soldier, planted a smooch on her lip as an apology, and fled with his tail stuck between his legs… or tails.

Tania wore a grand smile on her lips and moved her head sideways as if listening to a pleasant beat. The doors opened in no time, and Tania gave Heian Ciemnosc a little spank before winking at him and departing. Heian Ciemnosc was somewhat glad she wasn’t coming. She didn’t know what would happen if they met an innocent Hong Mei here, all alone, with Tania’s evil corrupting Heian Ciemnosc’s innocence.

Step, step, step… step. Heian Ciemnosc walked through the usual path. When the fog started dissipating, Hong Mei’s crossed-arms figure was outlined, and Heian Ciemnosc felt a little strange, slightly frowning. Just then, Sara’s gasp alerted Heian Ciemnosc somewhat. “Gasp!”

“... Heian Ciemnosc? Come~! What are you waiting for? I won’t look into that matter. Just come here!” Hong Mei’s voice resounded as her silhouette showed she turned her head before rapidly moving it to her arms. That was when Heian Ciemnosc realized she wasn’t crossing her arms but holding something.

Heian Ciemnosc ignored her comments about his evil acts with Tania and walked forward faster. When he arrived meters before her, Heian Ciemnosc smelled a scent coming from himself and Hong Mei. He became astounded. What the hell was going on?

“Look…! Isn’t she… precious?” Hong Mei said as she turned towards Heian Ciemnosc a little, maintaining a soft tone as if a baby was sleeping nearby. Heian Ciemnosc looked at Hong Mei’s arms… and saw a tiny baby with creamy rosy skin open her eyes to look at Hong Mei before slowly staring at him while lifting her hands to her exposed gums.

“!!” It was as if he was struck by… life and nature itself akin to thunder!

Let It Rain's note: This chapter couldn't have come at a better time. What terrible, horrifying thing could I have created? Hm...
