Dimmer Infinitely At Some Point Or…
“… is the 33rd year after the Turtle Hiding Region formally initiated experiencing the change it needed. It began in the south, but it ended with the entire Region embracing it,” Heian Ciemnosc spoke with his left palm softly landing on his sternum. He advanced 1 step and a half before resuming. The stadium was silent, waiting for more of his words. He calmly continued, “34 years will soon happen. I intend to gift the Lsefattern Kingdom enormously by the time that moment arrives.”
Heian Ciemnosc’s words brought a lot of attention, but he immediately continued with others, “But today is not that day. It is one worthy of celebration, where the Turtle Hiding Region no longer hides… and the world welcomes it!”
“Hurraaaaah!” The crowd cheered lightly yet loud nonetheless. Heian Ciemnosc spread his arms a little and lowered his face ever so slightly. His tone became slightly quiet as he said, “I’d like to declare the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s arrival in the Turtle Hiding Region as where the Ascending Era of the Lsefattern Kingdom begins.”
Before the crowd, or any viewer for that matter, could respond or react in any way, Heian Ciemnosc followed suit with even more words. “We’ll celebrate this day of the year as the date where our beginning spread for the first time. But also as the day when Dinayid, daughter of Disciplinary Elder Grietta and Vice chairman Elyor, was born!”
“WUUUUUUUUUUUUHHH!!” The crowd roared again, erupting with contentment as those words reached their ears. Through the Universal Conveyances, many could feel the sensations the inhabitants went through. The stadium calmed down quickly as the tiny daughter smiled innocently.
Grietta seemed a little tired as she dearly showed the tiny baby that sprout from her body just a few hours ago. Although she wouldn’t bleed much, and the sweat was cleaned off, being a cultivator didn’t mean everything would be easier. A female’s first time might not be as painful, but their delivery was a tremendous task still. After all, neither party would suffer, and the baby would even share the mother and father’s innate talents and capabilities.
“It is a day when only wonderful things will be recorded for the future generations, no matter how old, or distant from today it is,” Heian Ciemnosc continued. His words drew attention back to himself, although he’d rather it didn’t. Even Grietta and Elyor looked at him. Their eyes blazed with more than thankfulness and appreciation of his gift towards them, which had only started.
“Because, today, that Ascending Era will spread…” Heian Ciemnosc’s tone became… inherently dark. His darkest eyes seemed more enchanting than ever, and his words became soulstealer spells. “It started in the Turtle Hiding Region as a beginning, and now… it will spread to the rest of the Lsefattern Kingdom.”
“…!!!” The world, as a whole, including the Turtle Hiding Region’s inhabitants and the Lsefattern Kingdom, fell absolutely silent. After a while, they seemed to understand something. But just then, Heian Ciemnosc stood with a steel-like back as his countenance became calm, serene, and his eyes radiated ultimate coldness.
“I, as the chief of operations of the forces sent to deal with the Turtle Hiding Region, now ruler of said Region, declare war on all Regions in the Lsefattern Kingdom who do no immediately surrender.” Heian Ciemnosc’s words vacantly echoed throughout.
“…~” Alyona and Milyy formed smiles from the moment they knew Heian Ciemnosc was about to reveal it, to the moment he finished his words. Hong Mei lowered her head slightly and helplessly shook her head. The others either smirked or kept a straight face. In Elyor and Grietta’s case, they showed pride.
“With this being said, I really hope the Heraxle Clan won’t send me a letter trying to stop this. It is for the Universitalities of Yore Universal Land’s sake. If there is no such movement now, it will be too late when the next ‘10 year war’ erupts.” Heian Ciemnosc suddenly added, placing his hands behind his back, and facing a different direction in the crowd.
“HAHAHA!!” A person uproariously laughed, before a figure flew out of the bleachers and stood in the sky, 40 kilometers above the ground. He was barely discernible to civilians. They fidgeted their seat’s features a few seconds before focusing on the ‘hidden’ cultivator among them. The person in question seemed to notice as he pointed at Heian Ciemnosc and spoke.
“Sir black monster, or should I say, Chief.” The person smirked, and he was none other but that Godly envoy, Yok Kasau. He had a smile on his face as he took his hood and concealing robes off, letting them float downwards. “No doubt. This is within the Heraxle Clan’s likability. Chief, you’ve opted to attack your enemies before they could do you. Well done!”
“Oh. Thanks,” Heian Ciemnosc looked up and tilted his head to the right. Yok Kasau chuckled a few times before standing straight like a blade. He declared as the world had their eyes on the Lsefattern Kingdom, or more accurately, in a showdown between Existential Sixth Step organizations to decide the future place the Heraxle Clan might take between all 7 Universal Land.
“The Heraxle Clan will spectate this one, Chief. From now on, anyone who dares to breach the agreement with the other Existential Sixth Step organizations will be met with a war declaration on our part.” The envoy’s words reverberated across the Lsefattern Kingdom. Then, he looked down at Heian Ciemnosc and concluded, “Let this be the Heraxle Clan’s matters and strife between the weaker Steps.”
“Many thanks, Heraxle Clan,” Heian Ciemnosc politely said, still looking up with his tilted head, nearly leaning his body to the right. The envoy nodded. Without saying anything else, he shot into the universe, disappearing from the Lsefattern Kingdom. Back at the empty area in the City Governor office, Heian Ciemnosc calmly returned his sight to one of the news anchors’ cameras.
“From today onwards, the Lsefattern Kingdom is claimed by my forces, by me. As a Chief, directly under the Heraxle Clan’s wishes, this Kingdom will become the Heraxle Clan’s solely! If anyone wishes to form relationships with the Heraxle Clan in it, they must bow before the Large City’s gates.” Heian Ciemnosc’s words finished with a calm, soothing, yet domineering effect.
Clap, clap, clap, clap… The people behind him immediately celebrated, and although some people were missing, Heian Ciemnosc could feel their gazes on him. Even then, he kept a straight face, and his darkest eyes remained as impassive as always, lifeless even.
“Hmph! Whatever. This so-called ‘Chief’ is just as the rumors said, tyrannical and a mindless slaughterer. My Turtle Shell Region won’t stay here anymore. Although we came uninvited, we can leave without your permission, too.” A voice spread from the bleachers again. This time, it was from a low level. It was followed by a few dozen people flying away like this was their patio.
“Indeed… The now Chief seems to have no one in his sights. If that’s the case, let me see what your sole 3* Region can do against just the Stormy Calm Sea. Heian Ciemnosc, this was your bringing.” An older voice sounded. Like before, this one was followed by a couple of dozen people who directly flew away, led by an old man with silver-white hair airily combed upwards.
“Oh, no. You can stay,” Heian Ciemnosc’s voice finally resounded, just as the inhabitants felt a bit weirdly pressurized and weak. Their Chief’s voice was like a slap to their backs, helping them erupt, vomit disease, or contaminated, black blood.
The 2 groups stopped in midair, but their leading figures didn’t look back. Some from their younger generation turned their heads and gazed towards Heian Ciemnosc’s general direction, evading his darkest eyes, before shouting.
“What do you think you’re doing?! Would you dare to harm the people who came here with no ill intentions? This is really who you are, huh?!” - “Heian Ciemnosc, I assure you that this won’t end well. Instead of looking for neutral parties, you made everyone your enemy. Now, you’re forcing us to hate you. Can’t you see through your actions? Can’t they see? At the very least?!”
“…” Heian Ciemnosc merely looked at them. His darkest eyes darted up and down a little as he scanned their faces. They were mindlessly waiting for his response. At last, Heian Ciemnosc gave it to them, calmly and lackadaisically. “Look. I don’t want to kill before a newborn. Especially in this day. Kneel, and you will be spared. Do anything else, and you’ll be executed after your Regions are conquered. Mm, did I mention your Regions are under attack?”
“Heng. Our Regions? Attacked? That’s… are you this stupid?” A Human female, young beauty said, turning around. She was quite close to the people of the Turtle Shell Region, whose leading figure had similar hair and skin color as hers. Her face showed disdain and erupting displeasure. She even added, “The Heian Ciemnosc we were told about wasn’t so threatening with words but empty of brains! Did you think we’d believe it just because you say so?”
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
“Layel,” the person who confronted Heian Ciemnosc first, finally turned his head to bark and throw her a warning glare. The young beauty stopped and looked at her father, albeit somewhat unconvinced. Heian Ciemnosc scratched his right ear’s helix and lightly commented, “But it’s true. Decide your fates now.”
“Heh heh heh,” the old person in the other group crackled charmingly as any grandpa would. He turned around and faced Heian Ciemnosc as if looking at an idiot, while the young beauty’s father knitted his eyebrows and seemed in deep thought. The old man spoke in a hearty laughter, “Black monster. Do you not notice? Just look at your people’s faces. They were applauding you just now. But now, they are terrified of your existence. You just made their ‘better lives’ the worst ever.”
Heian Ciemnosc scratched his right nostril before calmly saying, “Oh, well. It’s also your Weeping Viper Region who is under siege. Aren’t you afraid? More than my people’s confusion, and your people’s terror as we speak?”
“…?” The old man was about to bark out if Heian Ciemnosc was really going to continue with the act. If their Regions ever perceived danger to them, they would’ve been notified. And if the Crimsons made a move, they would’ve sensed it since they were here. So, why did none of that happen? He could even discern the 18 Fleets. Who was Heian Ciemnosc trying to fool?
“You…!” But the middle-aged man, leader of the Turtle Shell Region, a 2* Region, turned around completely and faced Heian Ciemnosc with panic-stricken, widened eyes. His daughter was scared for a moment before she asked him with a frown, “What is it, Father?”
“H- how? I can’t sense anything past the Turtle Hiding Region’s sea territory. Not even the usual traders and Faunae. What is going on, Heian Ciemnosc?! Explain yourself!” The middle-aged man said, nearly raging as he seemed restrained for something.
“…” The old man frowned and seemed to attempt the same thing, only for his eyes to widen and his ‘breathing’ hair to tremble after a hard minute. During the silence, the people in the bleachers suddenly felt… funny. Were they really attacking a couple of 2* Regions? Even as a 3* Region in the Third Step, was this normal?
“Well…” The middle-aged man seemed about to acquiesce, feeling the veracity of being so close to such a monster. Moreover, having participated in an even that was now, as the black monster said, their Region’s getting conquered, he felt apprehensive. But remembering something made him change his mind in the last minute.
“Even if… even if…” the middle-aged man looked at Heian Ciemnosc, whose cultivation base was at the Universal realm 3rd stage, equal to Heian Ciemnosc, and bravely concluded. “You sent your navy to our Regions, it shouldn’t be possible without using all your forces. That means your Turtle Hiding Region is ‘empty’. Wouldn’t that become a rather sarc-”
“Well, that’s your ticket to a proximate death. Come.” Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head all the way to the left. Lifting his left arm, he shot Vocón Link through his left palm, and several dark energy shapeless limbs from his right arm and hand.
… … … … PSHIFT PSHIFT PSHIFT PSHIFT PSHIFT PSHIFT PSHIFT PSHIFT~!!!
Vocón Link shot at a speed nobody could see, at least not from those present except Milyy and Alyona. As for the rest, they only heard a sound after the fact, and as various dark Vigor Energy shot from Heian Ciemnosc’s body towards the few dozens of people flying above his head, a few kilometers away, heading northwards.
Subsequently, everyone felt their bodies lose all strength. Some struggled, especially the middle-aged and old men, but it didn’t last. A few seconds later, like the rest, they became limp and looked at Heian Ciemnosc, still without accepting their situation.
“Heian Ciemnosc!” The middle-aged man looked at Heian Ciemnosc and screamed. His eyes diverted to his daughter. Heian Ciemnosc granted him a few seconds to speak with a calm visage. The middle-aged man implored loudly, as if not surrendering still, defiant. “Leave Layel out of this. She isn’t even in the Third Step. This is uncalled-for. I will surrender my troops, but you must take the Turtle Shell Region by force if you want it! Just like you did here. And like you think you can do with the rest of the Lsefattern Kingdom. Hahahaha, kill me! You lunatic!”
‘Ugh, I’m starting to hate hearing my name from others’ mouths.’ Heian Ciemnosc thought in his head, giving half a fart to what the middle-aged man was saying. Sara nodded in her usual pose, lying her belly down. She nodded and asked, “Mn, mn, mn! I know, right?”
The old man saw through Heian Ciemnosc’s antics and said after lowering his voice gravely, “Chief, I brought my people to see how you would conduct your grand celebration. Please, let me speak.”
Heian Ciemnosc looked at the old man while the middle-aged lost consciousness to his energy sucked from nowhere. The old man hurriedly shot words like machine guns do to bullets, “The Flora-Sweet White-Heavens Dynasty, Bluenet Nation, and even your ally, the Est Soul Empire, have colluded to bring their people and numerous mercenaries from… the Universitalities of Yore Universal Land.”
“I know this seems… insulting. But they couldn’t bring more people from their Universal Land. They are acting like they’re choosing a new General. This is treated like a sport for them to train their younger generation. It’s not just us… or the Lsefattern Kingdom. Many others in the Ossinox Galaxy have been approached by them.”
“Your point is? What do you want?” Heian Ciemnosc said, not showing any importance to the information the old fella granted to the public. He already knew this, and much more than a pawn like this could figure out and investigate.
“My sons and daughters back at my Weeping Viper Region, please spare them! They will serve you well. I’ve trained them to be smart. This was just my attempt to see the ‘opponent’ and figure a move against them. It was my old, senile mindset that brought me to think I was capable of even planning against you. Please…” The old man humbly laid his dignity down and implored.
“Okay, but everyone else with you today will be beheaded or have their brains explode in a few days.” Heian Ciemnosc said, not asking or reaffirming anything. The old man painfully nodded, feeling some solace, before Heian Ciemnosc wagged his dark tail and the new prisoners disappeared from everyone’s view.
“The Lsefattern Kingdom may think whatever you may want, but my actions are backed with the acceptance of nature. If there is anything I’m at fault, it is for not being able to do it earlier. The Large City has prepared for several days’ worth of celebration. Eat and drink to your hearts’ contents… The Turtle Hiding Region has only experienced their first step to the peak heights only I can offer.” Heian Ciemnosc calmly faced the cameras again and said, finishing with an ever so slightly bow of his head towards the people in the stadium.
Afterwards, Heian Ciemnosc walked back to Grietta and Elyor, as they were already surrounded by the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s highest hierarchy. As the successive events happened one after the other, the crowd finally seemed about to sober up. The stadium gradually grew in noise, from hushes, spreading everywhere, to an excited atmosphere that rapidly covered it.
The loud noise increased as Heian Ciemnosc and company walked away. That was when the crowd went crazy, and they erupted with extra cheers and clamoring whenever one of the people walking away with the others waved at them. Little Dina wasn’t bothered by it, and she seemed impassive to it.
Heian Ciemnosc was quickly grabbed by his wives, who grabbed his arms and hugged him. Hong Mei on his left, and Milyy on his right. Meanwhile, Alyona walked 1 step behind Heian Ciemnosc, keeping their lovey-dovey secret within the Faction.
Meanwhile, the watching world crazedly reacted to these war declarations, warnings, and shows of power the black monster displayed just minutes after his first sighting after 23 years. He had presumably exited cultivation, but he already made the entire world feel stupid. A Third Step organization’s force under a Chief, appointed by the Heraxle Clan, was now facing an entire Kingdom while only ruling over 1 Region? How crazy was that?
Nevertheless, it is what happened, and the Universal Conveyance wasn’t one to forget about it. The people, connected to it, immediately commented as the cameras changed to some people talking about the recent events with smaller frames of the Large City around them.
“Okay, whaaaaaaat?!” - “Yeah, exactly.” - “They can do that, sure… But, can they really do that?” - “Shouldn’t they go against the Entente with all these ‘projects’? What if they aim for ‘higher’ after conquering the Lsefattern Kingdom?” - “Hold on, you’re saying they can conquer the Kingdom? Aren’t you… too much?” - “I was just saying, what IF…” - “No! It cannot happen!”
“Wow. Did you hear what black monster said? Days!” - “Can a 3* Region’s forces really beat a couple of 2* Regions’ forces in ‘just a few days’? Quite exaggerated, don’t you think?” - “We’ll see. It’s the Crimsonbreaking Faction, after all. If there’s someone who can be recognized for having quality over quantity, it is them.” - “Fanboy alert.” - “Speak one more time, and I’m gonna kiss yo ass.” - “Deadly threat detected. Initia- ah, my god!”
… A few minutes after the group on the ground walked away, Heian Ciemnosc was pulled to a cliffed coast near the northwestern port in the Turtle Hiding Region. Nothing that a sneaky Halonso couldn’t do. Although he shouldn’t have, because this didn’t help Heian Ciemnosc for cultivation, he wanted to see the red carmine-haired beauty with his Father again. They looked so splendid together.
Alyona looked at the sky as Heian Ciemnosc looked at her like looking at an open, gold, endless paradise which she was imagining in the sky. Meanwhile, Milyy and Hong Mei played with the new three Fairy lovers as they seemed to speak with another person who wasn’t present.
“It was nice coming here, hm~.” Alyona said, feeling an arm slide through her lower back as she spoke. She instinctively placed her hands together and up against her left ear before falling on Heian Ciemnosc’s chest. Heian Ciemnosc leaned his chin on her head as they looked at the sea and sky. From afar, their Spirit Sense caught signs of heated, nonstop bombardment.
The ports were actually empty, but they were concealed. As for how Heian Ciemnosc’s array formations blocked and easily tricked Universe realm experts’ Spirit Sense… He spent some of the 20 years studying different inscriptions of array formations. Those were just one of them.
Alyona and Heian Ciemnosc enjoyed their time peacefully before Alyona grabbed something from his neck, a bluish collar, and asked with a knowing smile on her pretty, luscious red lips. “Eh, what is this? I don’t remember Elena giving you a collar like this. Are you cheating on us again? Who? Did you record it? Please tell me you at least ‘saved’ the sensation of smacking her body and butt.”
…
