Chapter 588 — The Wars... End Here! Blossoming Realm

The Wars... End Here! Blossoming Realm

Zzzzz... zzzzzz... zzzzzzz... zzzzzzz... zzzzzzzzzz-crack! Crack! Craaack! Zaa- zzzz- zap~!! THUNDER, ruuuumbleeee~~!

Ishikyy suddenly felt a new form of power coursing through her veins— her lithe body frame and her Dantian and Psychogenic regions. This reminded her of her childhood, causing her to close her eyes in contemplation. The Blue Force personnel below became frantic, abandoning their fights and rushing towards their royal princess, whose act of closing her eyes was like their hearts aching until becoming rotten and giving light to numerous emotion-devouring maggots.

But the sky above Ishikyy wasn’t resting at the end of her path, and her fists crackled, but not with the sound of her bounds. It was… with the sound of thunder!

“!” Ishikyy opened her eyes. As it happened, the air 10 meters around her became riddled with blue lightning, sparkling everywhere like dancing electricity for a few instants before turning darkish!

Ka- chaaa! Chaaaa! Chaaaa! Chaaaaa! Ka- chaaaaaaaaa! Five lightning strikes went off purely made of Ishikyy’s darkish Lightning element. The first sounded, and the following 3 only repeated the explosive noise. Meanwhile, the fifth lightning strike struck out after the first 4. Its 2 noises went off completely, unlike those 3. It also moved faster and reached the first lightning in no time. At the same time, the enemy missiles’ warheads were becoming scorched with a zig-zagging cut, melting their metallic luster off to the side.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! BOOM! The enemy missiles exploded instantly as the darkish Lightning element struck them as soon as they were touched. It was a wondrous revelation, but it only lasted a couple seconds before it was all gone. The missiles’ explosions seemed about to make their appearance for the umpteenth time in the battle to occupy the enemy Small City, but the darkish Lightning also blasted off when the missiles did.

One force repelled the other, and a shockwave from the darkish Lightning bolts dominated the missiles’. Ishikyy felt shocked, emotionally! Although she could do some Lightning combat now, it was not comparable to her Water elemental manipulation. However, with this transformation and whatever else she felt just now, she managed to accomplish such ground-breaking results! This was too much!!

“Hail the royal princess!...” A shout suddenly sounded from below. An Imperial Guard reddened his face as he shouted to the sky before stabbing a distracted enemy cultivator. It was uncomfortably silent at first, but after that cultivator fell on the ground, nearly all lifeless, with widened eyes that didn’t want to believe they would die just like that, the rest of the Empire’s troops responded in kind. “HAIL THE YOUNG DRAGON, ROYAL PRINCESS!!!!”

“HUAAA!!” STOMP!

The Empire’s army suddenly quaked the air with Neutral Energy as Ishikyy worked up from her stupor. She silently took a corpse out of her Covert Space bag and began eating it while watching the Empire’s troops gain territory and massacre the enemy. Her Blue Force was in all cheers, no longer rushing towards her, and turned to fight and achieve victory for this battle— their mission. Ishikyy then nodded and, with an excited, bloodthirsty, darkish stare, flew towards the detachment she had left behind.

Needless to say, Ishikyy’s ‘sudden’ learning of the Lightning element spread like wildfire around the Small City. The Generals, driven by the notion of the young, royal princess managing to showcase such might and encourage the army to fight, already giving their all, finally took action and started fighting the enemy’s last powerhouses. They had waited, and now, there was no more need to do so.

But even as the enemy’s highest hierarchy started dying one after another, their corpses fashionable falling from the sky and creating wide craters, showcasing their deaths. The enemy troops were all filled with fury and endless pain. With such emotions, who can ever say they can control themselves and not want to die fighting? Only a few could in the entire world, let alone just a Middle Kingdom. The fight went on.

But it was just fine. The royal princess regrouped her Blue Force before dividing it into 2. One was commanded by her, and the other by the married couple. This was done under the enemy’s restless rage, sobbing grief, and desire to destroy everything they saw. The Imperial Guards had to make quick work of them, as the cultivators were destroying the Small City wherever they went, and that could not happen!

The Empire’s citizens were starting to become fewer on the battlefield. Some were taken back and forced to stay behind as their bodies became limp, pale, coldly sweated, and lost many life signs. They would be alright as long as the Empire won the battle and they continued to be treated as intended. But it was still a portion of the Empire’s strength, diminishing their overall battling capabilities on the battlefields.

The Imperial Guards were slowly being left on their own, fighting the enemy cultivators in a frenzy as more and more loud ass ‘BOOM’ sounds went off since the Empire’s Generals started attacking their base and central building. Ishikyy and the other Forces in this Eclushisk Contrail Region’s last battle against the enemy were doing their best, but their Imperial Guards kept falling, trying to finish the grieving enemy off.

It was like waves, so at times, the Imperial Guards were being killed 2 for 1 as the enemy cultivators rushed at them in a suicidal manner, and not even needing to self-implode. Afterwards, the Imperial Guards would fight with a much heavier intensity and stabilize the vanguard, but the enemy would do the same at a later time and cause more casualties to their already high number of fallen comrades.

The Fighters had to join in, risk themselves at a low altitude, and even had to remain immobile in midair to strike the enemy, but it was necessary. No Fighter was lost in the previous battles. But now, a few tens were destroyed or damaged before they ended in a bloody, grievous victory for the Empire. But, they had a little darkish angel sharing her mighty prowess everywhere she could.

Ishikyy’s darkish Lightning and Water elemental manipulation proved key. It affected even her Blue Force’s combined Art techniques. She didn’t even have to use Neutral Energy as she replenished it little by little and slowly. But she couldn’t be anywhere, and even after dividing her Blue Force’s numbers, they were still too little. Fortunately, they were naturally very efficient, and in under 8 hours, they managed to bring most of the enemy forces down to the ground, lifeless and moistening the broken land with their raging tears.

But, little by little… the war in the Eclushisk Region ended. Ishikyy’s efforts were truly all it took for the enemy to falter. Their missiles went out after a couple hours, leaving them more vulnerable and allowing the Imperial Guards to strike with much more confidence of not being belated to pieces if they weren’t mindful of such things. This also eased Ishikyy’s actions as she toured the whole Small City in circles, using her darkish Elemental manipulation, combining Art techniques with her Blue Force’s half, and slowly recuperating her Neutral Energy storage.

Ishikyy was still new to the habit of eating corpses, and she was careful not to touch sensitive or weird areas, even for females. But after hours of tough, risky battles and constant interludes, prior to arriving at another battle while boarding her helicopters. She became used to it. It was in a time of dire need, and she couldn’t rest when her people needed her. She couldn’t even think of delaying for a second, let alone walking away from the war.

Ishikyy was exhausted, but she continued. Her Blue Force was becoming tired, but they followed her. In the end, the inevitable happened, and as she gained injuries, deep wounds stabbing and cutting her body, some of her Blue Force personnel’s lives suffered near-death scenarios, which had to be retreated to the rear. Ishikyy and the still-fighting special soldier units gained new injuries from such acts but kept their comrades’ lives.

The battle continued and continued until only a few battles remained in the Small City, all of which were far from each other, but the Blue Force was given Fighters to fly there immediately. It was a large mob against another, and as more time passed, the Imperial Guards would only continue to suffer more casualties before even managing to start defeating the enemy. In those last few battles, Ishikyy reached her limit time and again, but she continued fighting using either her darkish Elemental manipulation or severely potent bodily strength.

Whenever her storage was restored to at least 30%, she would go all-out and lunge into the enemy’s ranks, smashing their chests and limbs away and slashing and stabbing their heads or necks. Ishikyy was followed not only by her Blue Force but the exhausted, hurt, and bloodied Imperial Guards who were still holding their emotions but were already grieving inside. However… for the Empire… they couldn’t forget what they were doing. They could only go on.

It was becoming a tasteless victory if the battle was even won because, in their minds, even that became difficult. But, with Ishikyy’s presence, their resolve and eyes were guided, and their hands only had to repeat what they knew, had learned… and had been doing for hours. While they were cultivators, everyone battling in this stage of the Eclushisk Contrail Region’s war wasn’t underestimating the other side. They went practically all-out from the beginning and couldn’t just continue because they wanted to…

By the time the fighting sounds stopped in all over the Small City, only a few tens of millions of soldier units remained, with most of their bodies wounded, Souls exhausted, and minds drained. If they didn’t before, now they understood what real war in the world was like. Those young or lucky enough to not have participated in the 10 year war felt the ‘past’ world was incredible to endure 10 years like this, not because of the time, but because there was no rest.

While the time was small for even peak Second Step organizations, it was the fact that every organization was warring with each other for 10 years, meaning that there were barely any allies, and it was each organization on its own before the ‘sides’ were formed. 10 years of never-ending battling sounded exhausting, and after occupying 1 Small City, they felt like they could no longer give more. However, before they could wince at being sent to the Wheel of Presence Region, their Generals in the sky shouted… knowing how tired their troops must be.

“... The Wheel of Presence Region has capitulated! The Blauw Empire has struck a deal with the Indomitable Heartspree Region and has already conquered it! The Eclushisk Contrail Region has just been fully conquered, and the Wheel of Presence Region’s surrender… Have brought the ultimate victory for the Blauw Empire! We… have… won!!”

“...” - “..!” - “...?!” - “...!!” - “...!!!”

“Huaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!” Nobody knew who started it, but an Imperial Guard roared to the skies with his weapon and shield device falling to the ground. Like a plague, in the sound of roars, glorious calls, and hollers, the Blauw Empire’s exhausted forces began relieving their exhaustion. It wasn’t over, though. They still had to return the fallen comrades to their home, the Blauw Empire’s heart… to their farewell.

The Imperial Guards were too tired to notice or feel it now, and the citizens were unconscious. But the land of every sea Region lifted part of their sand, dirt grains, or stone dust. 5 meters above the ground level, all at once, from the Far East Region to the far southern Region, the Phoenix’s Cry Region, and the northern Regions, a smallish phenomenon that those in the Regions the Empire warred against thought was a sign, and those in the south believed it to be a premonition of something— became nature’s message.

The Blauw Empire’s conquests… are accepted, too!

“... haf, huff… huff, huff.” Ishikyy looked at the sky as her darkish transformation slowly receded. Her dark azure scales fell off. But instead of detaching from her cinnamon skin, they were absorbed. She suddenly felt heavy but continued looking at the lit-up sky, whose gray clouds let some sun land on the Small City’s center. Her expression crunched up a little as clothing appeared as her scales fell off, covering her genitals and rear… Then… she fell backwards.

“The royal princess!” - “Quick, help h-” - “Ah, it’s fine. Ishikyy just fell asleep. Look, her wounds bleed and all, but she is breathing like she was just playing with a shark. Let her rest, don’t make noise, shhh.” Just as the soldier units were scared that their royal princess was dying because she fell backwards, Fernanda chipped in and formed a circle with a rapid, harmless blast of Neutral Energy around Ishikyy’s sleeping like a log body.

2 days after the Blauw Empire’s wars in the eastern and most southeastern Regions ended, inside the Palace’s assigned supervisor’s cultivation room.

“...” Heian Ciemnosc sat on his cross-legged position in midair, which, if his Master saw, she wouldn’t know how to think about and be speechless about it. His pale eyelids slowly fluttered, and, in his eyes, there was some lost focus. His thoughts went back to Ishikyy and her short epiphany of the Lightning element when her transformation occurred thanks to his saliva and hidden drop of dark blood essence he gave her time before the wars began.

‘Ishikyy… such a good girl,’ Heian Ciemnosc thought, with his right corner forming a little grin he could not hide. His darkest eyes blinked, and his face regained a calm, collected, and indifferent expression. But he was still studying the scenes Ishikyy showed, from her initial darkish transformation to her last battle and afterwards, when she fell like a log on the ground.

If it wasn’t because of his constant monitoring of the young girl and helping her body take those nutrients, she would’ve definitely fallen unconscious in the first 4 hours before the war ended. Heian Ciemnosc grinned again, but this time, he shook his head a thought before slowly closing his adorable to-die-for darkest eyes. ‘Even you helped me a little here. But you still keep trying harder, thinking I don’t see you as mine? Oh, silly. Well, at least you’ve got a great heart.’

Pshiiiiiiiii~~fffttt~! Heian Ciemnosc’s thoughts were erased, and his mind was focused on one, sole thing… Breaking through! The time he spent in the Hana-Saga and Spirit Magna realms was far beyond what he thought he would have, far too much! But he could feel that was changing! There was something in the nature around him lately, making him feel like he was not the only one feeling excited about this breakthrough.

The moment Heian Ciemnosc had longed and waited for had finally come. His skin numbed and trembled with just the thought as his dark Soul started spreading everywhere inside his body, around his inner being… and through every already Linked millimeter within him. Wherever his dark Soul passed, it became linked to it, be it his bodily strength, consisting of his organs, tissue, skin, flesh, bones, hair, and even blood.

His Neutral Energy, Dantian and Psychogenic regions, Spirit Sense, and finally… the Links between all of these. Heian Ciemnosc’s body, inside out, and his inner being were all becoming linked to his dark Soul. It was exactly what impulsed most Soul energy of all cultivators. Those with enough potential in such could gain a deeper understanding, managing to breakthrough Soul realms beforehand at best, and learn better use and manipulation of it from varying degrees.

The process didn’t seem much, but it took Heian Ciemnosc a whole hour to complete it. It wasn’t the hardest breakthrough, although it felt painful yet harmless at certain points. It was like his skin was being peeled off, but it was like plastic, and he couldn’t feel a thing. Replaced by new layers, but not feeling any intrusive invasion on any nanometer of his body. A quizzical, profound sensation that repeated nonstop everywhere around his body.

“... Haaah,” Heian Ciemnosc exhaled in relief and contentment, but he refrained from continuing cultivation. He opened his eyes and intertwined his fingers before connecting his palms and opening his eyes. From now on, Heian Ciemnosc, the dark Spirit Link, was no longer in the Spirit Magna realm but the Blossoming realm— the 7th realm of 11 in the Second Step, almost at the peak of the middle realms, and a growing, mighty powerhouse in any Middle Kingdom.

Heian Ciemnosc became a Blossoming realm 1st stage cultivator. However, strangely enough, he felt as if, with just a thought, he could just break into the 2nd stage. But he then thought after dismissing that idea, ‘Nah, no. There’s no need. I have to do this part by part. Why would I become lazy now? I’ve worked to attain what has been achieved today. I need to do my hardest, too.’

Afterwards, Heian Ciemnosc stood up bare and walked out of his cultivation room. He went to his bedroom and let his body fall on his bed. There, 2 maids had fallen asleep after waiting for him to come out. When he fell on his bed, they bounced a little and slightly woke up but tried to continue sleeping. They were fully dressed, while Heian Ciemnosc was not. He felt their tights rub across his pale skin, and it felt goddamn comfortable, like an extra massage for every little movement they made. What’s more, his pale monster felt strangely well taken care of.

“Hmf.” - “Umg…” The maids bemoaned a little before falling asleep soundly. Heian Ciemnosc turned his head left and right and pulled theirs to smooch their foreheads before pulling them closer to him. His pale chest was taken as pillows by the sleeping maids, who became even more tranquil after smelling his scent. Heian Ciemnosc closed his eyes as his dark Soul moved the pitch-black, water-like moving blanket to cover their bodies.

His Spirit Sense grew to 500,000 kilometers, but he could barely reach the other side of the ocean and watch Ishikyy finally wake up to the sensation deep within her, finally realizing Heian Ciemnosc had put something in her when she was being mellow and acquiescent. She smiled lightly before addressing her Blue Force’s people, who rushed over when they heard the news of her body showing signs of waking up from her coma.

If one was a cultivator and went into a coma, that was something big. Especially when it wasn’t caused by a breakthrough. However, while Ishikyy was being bombarded with questions and cheers instead of missiles or shelling for a change, her concentration was on her inner body. She now understood a little something hidden within her, unbeknownst probably only to herself, granted her such things.

However, Ishikyy also understood it shouldn’t be that easy to use… before. Now, she felt as if the thing hidden within her was capable of working to its utmost capacity without her personal Imperial Teacher monitoring her. Thus, her mind quickly formed a thought as her little face frowned slightly. ‘Did he breakthrough?’
