Chapter 516 — Mightiness Demonstration

Mightiness Demonstration

"M-m-... Blauw Empire's Empress?!!" One of the Azure Dragon's Bloodline stuttered before pausing and changing his words prior to even speaking them out. Blauw Monstorm had enough spare time to look at the person who stuttered before slowly turning around. His neck hung low, and as he fearfully sighted the azure energy dragon moving stupidly faster than before towards them, his eyes darted towards the Ornament. Meanwhile, Heian Ciemnosc retreated to his Fighter's side and waited for the Empress.

WHOOOOOOOOSHH… WHOOOOOOOOSHHH~! FUTOMP!~~~!

The azure energy dragon didn’t force time to pass before finally arriving before the top organizations, their vassals, Heian Ciemnosc and his Ornament. Although Heian Ciemnosc was giving the former his back, he turned around when the others were frowning and saw something additional, particularly memorable, happening in front of their eyes… An azure beam shot from the azure energy dragon’s head’s center, nearly 10 meters in diameter.

PSHIFT! Swish, swish, swish, swish~! The azure beam morphed into several figures as thousands and thousands of royal guards flocked behind a majestic figure standing proud, indifferent, and unreachable higher in the sky than the top organizations’ people. She looked ahead, at first, before lowering her gaze. Her strongly determined eyes landed on these individuals, making them shudder from her presence alone. Her eyes were as impactful as the azure energy dragon’s sun-like azure eyes.

In fact, now that they could see the azure energy dragon up close, they realized these consisted of over hundreds of thousands of Imperial Guards. It’s just that they weren’t aware these Imperial Guards were moderately new and didn’t exist a couple months ago… Nevertheless, the Empress was present, and all attention was brought to her and her aura, which soared higher than the clouds and shone brighter than any sun. Even as it was invisible.

“Who is it?” The Empress questioned. Everyone felt the focus of that attention, but nobody dared to bask in it. Seconds went by, and Empress Shuna gazed at everyone’s faces, including those of dead ones whose bodies rapidly shrunk and were devoid of any life before being eaten away by something dark. She ogled Heian Ciemnosc once, blinked, and stared straight into the Head of the True Dragon House’s azure eyes with her aquamarine, azure, strongly determined eyes before asking again. “What gave you the galls to try persecuting my daughter?”

“... T-th- this… m- Empress… Empress… Shuna, m-may I speak,” another person from the True Dragon House echoed out. His build was tall and somewhat robust in a muscular aesthetic, but before this Empress, he humped and shrank his neck, not daring to stand straight. Blauw Monstorm’s silent gaze descended on his back. Memories flooded him of how haughty these people were after his grandparents died. His parents refused the position, leaving him and his sister to rule over the House.

The tall man sensed the Head’s glare, but he couldn’t care anymore at this point. He clasped his hands and bowed towards Empress Shuna before humbly addressing her, “I am shocked, too! But I-... I believe this is all a misunderstanding- I-”

“Mommy!”

Pfush! Whooosh… Heian Ciemnosc suddenly jumped his eyebrows before the sound of his Ornament’s cabin opening, and a little girl floated out and shouted to the top of her lungs in such a cutesy way before throwing herself to the majestic Empress’s abdomen. Throwing her arms around her mother’s dainty tummy, Little Ish buried her face in her mother’s body before slowly lifting her face.

“Why did you come out?” Although the Empress was caressing her daughter’s head and hair and lovingly probing her with her Soul and Spirit Sense, her voice and words were cold and demanding. Little Ish frowned slightly and parted her little lips before her eyes went wide, and she hurriedly turned around to float back to Heian Ciemnosc again. Heian Ciemnosc raised his right arm and threw a dark Neutral Energy loop before grasping the little rat back into his Ornament after threatening her bum with a glare.

While Little Ish felt the need to cover her growing buttocks and entered the cabin as it instantly closed shut and became locked, the top organizations looked with ample expectation… to fawn and survive. However, the Empress’s subsequent actions and words gradually depleted that expectation. “As a traitor, what you sought first is the taking of the authentic Blauw bloodline and royalty? You have seen and sought an outsider’s aid for this matter, even… You and your people, all of your family members, no longer have any shame left, do they?”

The Empress looked at the man who had spoken, but his words were clearly not for him. As she continued staring at the man, the latter began feeling… guilty. But before he could speak about anything, something, or everything all at once, Empress Shuna broke every possible thoughts in his and any other person from the same organization in their minds. “Desist your thoughts of camaraderie with your traitorous folk. And do not dare believe you can ever return!”

“I, Empress Shuna, leader of the Blauw Empire, evict the imperial decree issued by my father, the First Emperor of the Blauw Empire!” Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes slightly widened, while everyone else was shocked at Empress Shuna’s words. But she continued, “The lost Blauws, abandoning their roots and family members, cannot return to the Blauw Empire! The Empire no longer extends its hand to your miserable people. You shall forever remain an exiled branch from the Azure Dragon’s Bloodline.”

“...” The True Dragon House’s Head looked at the Empress directly but didn’t last more than 20 seconds before lowering his gaze. On the other hand, Empress Shuna’s indifferent eyes continued gazing at his drooped head until it was nearly bowing to her from sheer mental pressure without employing any move. Empress Shuna then looked at the dispersing clouds before staring into the distance and spoke dully. “You may leave.”

… Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…. Whoooooosh~!

The Head remained silent for a few more seconds before straightening his back but kept his head low. Turning around, he noticed he was exhausted, but so did his sister, who came to help him and bring him into their Fighter. After a minute of silence, the group entered their Fighter and fled, executing maximum speed without thinking twice about face. The Empress wore a definite, indifferent expression and looked at the sky while her back glowed with the sun. Her majestic, golden robes fluttered below her body, hiding her shoes and forming a small bubble below her feet. Her shoulders were slightly adorned with white fur, but it wasn’t from her dress.

“Move on. Each top organization will leave a head behind,” Empress Shuna commanded. The royal guards behind her lifted harpoons and shouted in unison. It was a simple syllable without any meaning other than to acquiesce to Her orders. These words were excruciating for the present people, but after witnessing the Empress’s sheer aura, they didn’t dare object, hoping they wouldn’t select one of their leading figures. However, before the royal guards moved, the Empress said a few words, finally letting them get into action.

“The others… exterminate them.” Her simple command didn’t make the royal guards flinch or waste an instant to contest. They shouted in unison again before taking flight. Dantreulity realm fluctuations bathed everyone’s senses as they watched hundreds and hundreds of golden armored warriors fly below and start slaughtering all the bad apples. Without delay, above the slaughter, the top organizations were surrounded by a few hundred royal guards each, and that was enough to paralyze them from fear.

Even the Feathered Valley Pavilion and the Clashing Dust Cult’s people were surrounded, although they didn’t seem to bother Heian Ciemnosc, who was beside them. Little Ish, on the other hand, no longer pouted inside his Ornament and looked in newfound delight as she and her mother’s royal guards showcased their might, reaping life like Heian Ciemnosc with each move he made before the big shots’ arrival.

Phhshk! Phhshk! Crrreeesshhhhkk! Cuh, cuh, cuh, cuh, cuh… Pshift! Pshift! Pshift!...

“Noo! Just wait- noo!!” - “Arrgghh, Grotto Master, save meee!! Bwoogh…” - “No, no, nooo! Why me? Why?! They are stronger than me, whyyyyy?!!” - “Huh?! We’re just their vassals! Why are you attacking us?!! Please- bwaah, noo! AAAH!” - “AAAAHHH!!!” - “No- do not- please!! My famil- NOOO!! AAAAH!!”

Heartbreaking, sonorous, and high-pitched or hoarse cries resounded everywhere on the battlefield for a while. The first to scream and implore were, of course, the upper echelons of the top organizations. They were pale purple or purple clothed folk, proudly wearing their respective emblems and colors wherever they went. But now… one of each of the 5 groups could only implore while those surrounding the Pavilion and Cult’s people pressured them but did nothing more.

Heads rolled, spinning down the air before a royal guard picked it up and stored it in his Covert Space bag. After taking one life from each group, the royal guards surrounding them backed away slowly, impeding any movement as their vassals were all massacred, leaving them with no leading figure to return to their organizations. This would keep the top organizations busy for some time, delaying any plans they had formulated for the near future.

Of course, one thing was foolproof. The near future would become even closer. Despite the frightened, pale, and submissive faces now, Heian Ciemnosc could smell the urgency and hatred within each of them. They couldn’t wait to return and assess the situation, probably already devising plans to keep the vassal organizations under their wing at ease and cursing the Blauw Empire’s stupidity and its Empress’s naivete to let them live after causing this much trouble.

The Blauw Empire had the chance to kill them now and increase the time needed for the top organizations to prepare another plan, giving them enough time to grow an authentic army, but they didn’t. It was the law of the jungle, of the world: if you don’t conquer, others will conquer it before you, and you will be next.

It wasn’t until the sounds of death from below, harpoons penetrating, stabbing, slashing, halving, and destroying bodies and reaping lives, finally ended that the royal guards surrounding the big shots returned to the Empress’s side and became as still and quiet as puppets, and as loyal as dogs waiting for their master’s command. Feeling like the world had enough air for them again, the top organizations’ people looked at the Empress Shuna, still gazing into the distance, and bowed deeply with their hands clasped and faces solemn before turning around, returning to their Fighters. However…

“Did I say you could leave?”

“...” - “...!” - “!” The top organizations’ people turned around again, facing the Empress whose indifferent face looked at them from above, infinitely far from their reach, from anything they could ever be! Understanding this fact alone, Blue Emirate Grotto’s Vice master, Azulina, pointed at the Empress and viciously shouted, “Don’t you dare treat us like your ‘lost’ dogs, Shuna! We will be shown the respect we deserve from the damage your anc-”

Pshiift~ whooosh~...slap! Whoosh!

Vice master Azulina’s face turned a whole lot to the right and downwards, shocking her silly for several seconds before waking up. Her face was hot, and her eyes became wet from the hit but more sober as well. She didn’t even see it, but the others saw as a trace of azure energy flew through the air and landed squarely on her left cheek, leaving a handprint behind with long fingers marking their spot the most.

Directly after, Empress Shuna flew lower to stand before them. In fact, she positioned her body so she was one head shorter than the shortest person in their group and looked slightly up at the line of 5 top organizations’ upper echelons calmly before opening her aquamarine, azure lips and speaking with a strange softness only a true ruler like her could have. However, some well-deserved arrogance was added from her throat, as if by her nature and innate right.

“This is MY Far East Region. If there’s something happening in this Region, I will know it, my Empire will know it, and if I don’t, then I will see it in the future, the Empire will see it fit in the future, and the future will see the Blauw Empire in it. Only it, nothing else… nobody else.” She turned her head left and right to speak those last 2 words. Afterwards, for a minute, a silence so devastatingly deafening and powerful descended onto them, their chests, leaving them breathless and thoughtless.

“Leave. Stop dirtying my daughter’s eyes. She is not of enough age to have to deal with filth and dross, such as your mugs.” Empress Shuna casually said at last, looking at them without any care, but not going to turn her back on these people. Not because they were her enemies, but because nobody was worthy enough to see her walk away amidst such a place… Only Heian Ciemnosc, perhaps, is the second strongest cultivator in the Region. And then, she lackadaisically added, “Yet.”

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…

The top organizations, except for the Feathered Valley Pavilion and the Clashing Dust Cult, bowed more profoundly this time, afraid they weren’t too humble and subservient last time and turned around to flee into their Fighters. It didn’t take them even half a minute compared to the True Dragon House before they were seen streaking far into the distance. Among them, Vice master Azulina glared back with her neck twisting, but she was scared silly when she noticed Empress Shuna’s narrowed aquamarine, azure eyes slowly tracking her visage.

“...” Empress Shuna floated midair, once again gazing into the far distance, where the sun wasn’t coming out of, and turned this battlefield into the most beautiful, verdant green scenery with the azure energy dragon behind her taking form with her body lined with its glabella. Her eyes looked in the same direction that those azure suns-like eyes, but her appearance was indefinitely more breathtaking, while the azure energy dragon looked majestic and mighty; she was like the hidden beauty of all terror and overbearingness.

Pfuh- whooooooosh. Little Ish was finally allowed out with a command from Heian Ciemnosc’s Spirit Sense as he thought of ways to communicate with one’s spaceship in better ways, something he hadn’t done since he had a stupid ass Spirit Sense range, but that was unique of himself. Meanwhile, the little girl rushed towards her mother again, arriving from her right, and stopped to silently admire her mother’s profile face like never before.

‘Mother is so incredible… I see, I see…’ Little Ish thought, her mind returning to Heian Ciemnosc’s image and her first days in the jungle. She instantly remembered all the long, hard crying she endured before becoming used to and beginning to understand her ‘role’ as an Azure Dragon’s Bloodline. Even then, she still wept from time to time whenever she spent unique days in the jungle.

Slap! Suddenly, Little Ish felt her right cheek burn as her mother slapped the shit out of her face. Next, her mother faced her and looked down at her while pinching her jaw with both hands’ fingers. Her voice traveled to her face as Little Ish brought her little right hand to her bluing skin. “What made you come out at such a moment? You fool! Can’t you think for once when there can be danger?! What will you do if there’s someone who can threaten me or if everyone here could harm me? What do you think they’d be capable of doing to you then?!”

Before her royal guards, Heian Ciemnosc, and the Pavilion and Cult’s leading figures, Empress Shuna exited Empress’s mode and started going all mommy on her daughter. Little Ish's response left her mother speechless yet feeling satisfied… and proud.

“I know, Mommy! I was silly, too dumb! I know, I know… I won’t do it again, Mom, I won’t.” Little Ish hugged her mother’s waist, leaving her mother’s shoulders and arms up, before slowly coming down to land on Little Ish’s delicate back. She wasn’t blaming her and didn’t even raise her voice for being hit, but softly spoke before ardently hugging her. Empress Shuna’s face lowered, showing a face of narrowed, strongly determined eyes going soft and delicate, motherly love plastered on her countenance.

“Come here,” Empress Shuna said before picking her daughter up. Little Ish grappled her mother’s bosom and neck like a monkey, not caring about the outsiders around. Heian Ciemnosc was her personal Imperial Teacher. The royal guards were like the brothers and sisters her mother couldn’t give her, and the Pavilion and Cult fellows were like distanced uncles, aunties, and grandpas. One of them was her fellow cultivator’s master, even.

Whoosh.

“Come, I’ll give us a quick travel back home,” Empress Shuna said as she turned, flew to stop beside Heian Ciemnosc, and spoke those words. Not even she knew why her lips protruded extra, and her lips emphasized that word, but Heian Ciemnosc felt slightly taken aback with his eyebrows dancing a little but quickly calming down. He nodded and turned around, but he stopped and turned to look at the Pavilion and Cult’s leading figures. This made Empress Shuna, who had already flown a few tens of meters forward, stop and wait for him…

“... You are not invited per se, but I’ll remind you and let the other know that if you want to watch something, you can come to the Far East Region’s northernmost sea.” Heian Ciemnosc glared at the Clashing Dust Cult and the Feathered Valley Pavilion’s leading people, respectively, as he began speaking. When he finished his speech, he turned around and rejoined the Empress. The Pastor and Preacher looked at each other before gazing at the Head and Grand Master, who were confusingly looking at each other before looking at the Cult’s leading figures.

“... You sure dared make the Empress wait,” Empress Shuna conveyed with her little girl still in her arms, whose jaw rested on her left shoulder and looked down with closed eyes. After Heian Ciemnosc played with the little girl’s tiny, cute nose and gained a furious nibble from the mommy’s girl, he grinned with his open mouth, turned it into a thin smile with closed lips, and softly said. “I can make a lady wait. But you’re right. I can’t make a woman waste her time.”

Empress Shuna: “...?”

Little Ish: (o ・★)

As the little girl blinked her eyes awake stupidly, understanding many more things about adults in that one single moment, discovering the complexity of adult relationships, she feigned sleep. Meanwhile, Empress Shuna lifted her left eyebrow, slightly turned, and tilted her head to the left out of her own volition but inadvertently to her instincts. She looked at Heian Ciemnosc, but her questioning, silent glance quickly turned into an observing one as he kept looking ahead, seemingly oblivious to her stare.

‘It feels… really good to have those eyes on me.’ Heian Ciemnosc grinned before turning to the right, deciding to meet those strongly determined, aquamarine, azure eyes without playfulness anymore. He immediately became dazzled by the beautiful colors, while she became mesmerized and self-absorbed in the darkest of his eyes.
