Chapter 681 — Many Powers' Call

Many Powers' Call

Ruo Wei and Cara didn't notice when, but Vocón Link had already extended from Heian Ciemnosc's body, and 2 of its sub-bodies had already been sent towards them. They coiled around their hips, wrapping them tightly before harshly swinging them against the ground as they felt the strength that their bodies were swinging with, breaking the air a little. They fell flat on the ground, with dark Neutral Energy eating away the remnants from their last exchange. Their bums faced the ceiling as Heian Ciemnosc walked towards them, gently starting a chat.

“Thank you… for using only your Mythical realm 6th stage to spar with me. Because I wouldn’t be able to fight you like this even if you limited your cultivation bases at the 7th stage.” Heian Ciemnosc’s word reached them. Ruo Wei felt dizzy as her cheek ‘bumped’ against the floor, and Cara fell face first. It only hurt, as these training rooms were designed not to injure them.

They also felt the gravity pull dissipate, making them sigh in relief inside their minds as they reunited strength and let the pain of their bodies smacking the cushioning yet solid floor slowly subside. Ruo Wei moved her lips as Cara turned her head towards her, showcasing the same pain from her expressive face.

“Team Leader, don’t jest. Even if we were at the 7th stage, you still haven’t used your full strength. Your Claws Out isn’t even out, and Vocón Link only showed a few times!” Ruo Wei complained, followed by Cara, who gave her sweet, loving eyes before flashing with mischief. “That’s right~! Your dark Soul Arts haven’t been used, too. And all you did was react to us. Hmph!”

“That’s because my nature is to kill. I can’t fight you both like that. I can only kill, and it is hard for me to contain myself. If you were in this body of mine, you would understand how difficult it is not to easily kill someone,” Heian Ciemnosc said, crouching beside them and bragging a little.

“Bagh! Show off!” Cara effeminately completed, turning her head the other way to show her unwillingness to even look at his shoes. Ruo Wei nodded, effectively rubbing her right cheek back and forth on the floor. “Silly blackie, you can’t fool us. You just wanted to win.”

“Well, no matter.” Heian Ciemnosc didn’t refute it. He passed his arms around their lower backs. Cara shivered, her body seemingly reminiscing past touches before calming down. Heian Ciemnosc helped them stand up while hugging their low backs and waists before slowly pulling them closer. His pale red lips whispered, “You’ve lost the bet. Now, I’ll immediately decide what you should pay me with… You will pay me with your bodies…”

The 2 fragile young women looked into each other’s eyes and felt the other’s helplessness, but they did nothing to stop him and placed their left and right hand on his chest while their other arm hugged Heian Ciemnosc’s back and clasped their hands with each other. They gave up…

… 3 days later, they stayed in the same living room. Heian Ciemnosc sat behind Cara and Ruo Wei, who had been sitting before him after the sparring session and losing the bet. And after showering, of course. Their cultivation base already neared the Mythical realm 9th stage, and they would soon break into it with their Team Leader’s help. They still had 9 days left to do this because of the lost bet, so they had time.

The Eternal Return Team had also finished their monthly quote of going out 5 times and was still 11 days before the next month. They didn’t have any pressure. But as for the training with the incomplete Flotilla and the personnel in their free time. The other Team members were capable enough to instruct them without error.

No wonder their Team Leader wanted to do a complete chain of hunting missions in the first 2 weeks of the month instead of the usual breaks in between. They felt terribly content as they judged the gates of the 9th stage inching ever closer to them.

Stay here, I’ll return swiftly.” Heian Ciemnosc suddenly stood up as he said. Cara and Ruo Wei nodded slightly, not wanting to stop cultivation despite the big boost leaving their backs as Heian Ciemnosc stopped circulating his cultivation method. They lightly sounded ‘mns’ before he left.

Just now, Heian Ciemnosc received a message from none other but his Master. It wasn’t from his medallion but directly into his inner endless, pure darkness. She already knew of his strange cultivation, so she found ways to contact him and even help him cultivate faster during these 2 years. Of course, she used this information for her own gains sometimes.

Heian Ciemnosc hurried outside the base. It was enormous now, and after remodeling it with ample sums of money, he needed 2 minutes to walk out. As he moved to the headquarters’ entrance after appearing in public, those who looked at him were attentive and gave him nods or ceded a pass to Heian Ciemnosc so he could walk between them.

It wasn’t a status effect but a short trace of honor to walk by a famed rising star within the Faction. Fortunately, it wasn’t something stupid like trying to get in Heian Ciemnosc’s good books by showing him a good-natured attitude. Heian Ciemnosc would walk with a few groups. Some just stood and relaxed before they escorted him long enough, and another group followed him.

It was unnecessary and seemed silly, but this was another one of the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s traditions. It was like a brief hallway of honor, and if Heian Ciemnosc was ignored instead, that would mean there was a ceremony, mobilization, or strict situation happening.

Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t bothered and quickly became used to these things. This was just the result of power, after all. This was the usual thing in the world, and in the Crimsonbreaking Faction, it meant much more.

While other organizations might react differently, like gifting Heian Ciemnosc many items from his comrades to show appreciation and be remembered by him. Females dropping to his door and inhabiting his bedroom, and even senior figures taking him for a stroll to teach him a thing or two.

In the Crimsonbreaking Faction, while sexual activity wasn’t prohibited and was well seen across notorious soldier units in the Faction, the act of walking by, saluting, and simply conversing as if they knew each other since childhood was the show of respect the strong would bathe in.

A vessel was waiting for Heian Ciemnosc already. Although he could ask for a speeding vehicle, his Master would know if he hurried from wherever he was to her atop the colossal tree in the Carrier’s core. She would tease him to death while he bed her, and he could only leave his Master gasping after strenuous hours. It was dignity-striking!

Thus, Heian Ciemnosc calmly entered the vessel and patiently spent about 15 minutes before arriving at the Carrier’s port. When Heian Ciemnosc went in and exited the transporting spaceship, the pilot greeted and nodded at him, and Heian Ciemnosc politely thanked him for the ride before stepping out.

Once there, one of the Soldiers who had already slept in Heian Ciemnosc’s lap several times waited for him with bright eyes. Without a doubt, 2 minutes later, she was fast asleep on his lap while he drove the transporting vehicle. She nearly salivated, to which Heian Ciemnosc’s dark Neutral Energy immediately cleaned away by devouring it.

While his Master was understanding of his other wives, she didn’t appreciate if he were to move about to eat some grass outside his garden. Even if nothing happened, as long as a fluid that wasn’t his reached him, she would frown at him even when she was delirious in pleasure under, atop, sideways, or in a strange pose with him.

Having a female’s aroma was allowed since he had a strange image in any female’s eyes for whatever reason his Master couldn’t figure out just yet. Thus, until Heian Ciemnosc arrived at his destination, he cleaned the young woman’s saliva before the core’s module’s gigantic gates, nearly dropping onto his pants several times.

When he arrived, Heian Ciemnosc pulled his dark coat from the Soldier’s body, used as a blanket as her hands lightly let go of it. He left the sleeping lass there and walked to the core module. They slowly opened ajar, and Heian Ciemnosc went inside, closing with a thud as soon as he stepped in.

Heian Ciemnosc walked the usual path, meeting the few roots that caressed the hem of his clothes and silently begged for his caress. They had become more blunt after he broke into the Dark realm, but they didn’t try anything funny when he was playing with either of his wives here.

“Hehehe, eh??”

Tap! Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap… Just as Heian Ciemnosc noticed 2 figures standing before each other. The slimmest silhouette holding something or a little someone. He heard a childish giggle stop as a confused sound sounded from the childish voice’s mouth. Then, a slight falling sound went off, followed by little tapping noses moving towards Heian Ciemnosc.

“Fa- Fa- Fa- Faaatheeeeer!” The mist dissipated quickly to only reveal the little child walking towards him. Anastasia had grown enough dark green hair to paint the top of her head with it. Her black eyes flashed with thrill as she concluded who it was that made her feel more joyous after he arrived.

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

Anastasia rushed to Heian Ciemnosc with tiny steps. Her legs were too small, so Heian Ciemnosc waited for several seconds before she finally arrived at his feet. At the same time, Milyy followed after Calisneia to walk towards him, wearing a feline, insufferable smile on her face.

Heian Ciemnosc picked up the little child wearing a thin, bright green dress with yellow-colored floral designs. Anastasia immediately pressed her right ear on Heian Ciemnosc’s collarbone, taking him hostage and avoiding the separation of her father. He promised he wouldn’t leave but hadn’t visited her in days! How dare he?!

Heian Ciemnosc grinned and let her keep quiet as her cute, breathing sounds resounded, making the garden an extra layer of calmness. Calisneia walked to him and immediately felt her waist and ack grappled by a pair of pale hands. She felt helpless as her daughter and granddaughter were here, but she didn’t stop him.

“I called you here not to… not only to spend time with you… husband.” Calisneia seemed to struggle to speak all those words. Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes slightly widened, making her feel it was worth it. At the side, Milyy smiled and walked towards them while pressing her hands on her mother-co-wife and husband, “See? You two look so cute when being cute to each other. Mom! Now, hold hands! Come on!”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc was speechless, but he was also grateful. Calisneia only showed him caring and love when they were alone, not just during coitus or when taking care of Anastasia together. As if to show Milyy’s words were valid, Anastasia’s tiny dark tail, of similar appearance to Heian Ciemnosc’s Vocón Link, swagged and curled for as miniature as it currently was a baby’s thump in size.

“That’s… enough,” Calisneia said, blushing as she finished her 2 words. She did hold Heian Ciemnosc’s hands as he embraced Anastasia, and her eyes became much more gentle, but she rapidly sobered up and steeled her eyes. Her hands didn’t move, though.

“I’ll warn you this time,” Calisneia suddenly said. Heian Ciemnosc’s complexion changed, and he became more serious. In his previous times, from his first hunting mission to a few situations where he lost a few Fighters but no lives, his Master advised him. But now, she directly told him she was warning him… It had to be deadly serious.

“There is too much movement,” Calisneia didn’t beat around the bush and said. Her right hand held the back of Anastasia’s head and caressed it, cutely making the tiny mouth exclaim under her breath. Calisneia’s pale, white, and golden eyes, glistening and powerful, looked at Heian Ciemnosc upwardly with all so seriousness.

“There are reasons, but I won’t say anything for now. Just know one thing,” Calisneia moved her hands from his and Anastasia’s head to cup Heian Ciemnosc’s face. “You must prepare your troops. This is perhaps something that shouldn’t have happened. But there’s no turning back. It’s not your fault if you’re wondering. At least not entirely. You are maybe only one-third the reason this is happening.”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc didn’t know what to say. It was as if his Master was admonishing him for causing so much trouble, but, at the same time, it felt as if she was encouraging him to become more powerful and stand in the limelight more. Telling him he was doing a good job!

“Did you understand?” Calisneia asked him. Her chin above Anastasia’s resting body as Heian Ciemnosc gulped and understood the veracity of the situation. He looked at his Master’s eyes and nodded, “I will heed your words, my wife.”

“...” Calisneia’s glowing eyes convulsed out of nowhere with the mention of his words. She looked up and down at his face. No one knew what went through her head before she suddenly pushed his cheeks forth and kissed his protruded lip with closed eyes. Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t slow to follow her and exerted his willingness as he closed his eyes in the pecking kiss.

“Kyaaaaaa~~, prrr!” Milyy joined her hands before her neck and exclaimed. Anastasia ‘woke up’ and looked at her orange-haired Mommy strangely. What happened? Meanwhile, Calisneia opened her eyes abruptly, followed by Heian Ciemnosc, whose darkest eyes softly opened, venturing into her brain and seizing her heart as she closed her glowing eyes again and smooched his lips repeatedly.

Milyy: (σ゚∀゚)σ

. . .

Heian Ciemnosc soon returned to the base with his Master’s words in mind. Heian Ciemnosc brought Anastasia with him since he would only cultivate harshly the following days with his whole Team members. After receiving Calisneia’s words, he didn’t doubt it for an iota and immediately called them, telling them to prepare for several days’ worth of cultivating with him in a row. Cara and Ruo Wei felt weird about his strange decision.

According to previous happenings, he should’ve come back in a good mood and willing to give everyone a good rest and perhaps a full, relaxing day in the living room, spending it like in the old days. But no. Heian Ciemnosc suddenly became super serious, and he even scheduled a full 10 days’ worth of cultivation spree with the twin Frigates’ personnel.

Anastasia following them only made things better, though. She lovably sat on her daddy’s lap and mimicked them in cultivation, sitting cross-legged and clasping her hands with closed eyes. But she constantly became bored, so Heian Ciemnosc brought her to the kitchen with his dark Soul and Spirit Sense and prepared a few snacks before returning her to his lap.

Even with her eating noises and constant movement against his body, she didn’t interrupt anyone cultivating, and she also knew to be cautious. Every time, after a meal, she lazily hung from her father’s neck or lay across his lap to rest.

… After cultivating with them, days passed, and the schedule was made known to the twin Frigates’ personnel. Heian Ciemnosc only let his Team have 3 days of rest before the cultivation program started again. Nobody outside the Eternal Return Team knew this was happening until half a week into the cultivation session.

That was when the incomplete Fleet realized Heian Ciemnosc had suddenly placed a tight hold over his personnel. He still was no vice commander, let alone commander. However, whether Heian Ciemnosc was or wasn’t, the incomplete Fleet already saw him as a viable Frigate leader. If it wasn’t for a co-leading Team Leader who had to overly stand out from the rest, if not wait for at least 5 years in this program, Heian Ciemnosc would’ve become an official vice commander or commander and Officer even if he wasn’t at the Third Step yet.

However, after the famous ER twin Frigates’ personnel became freed, they didn’t return to normalcy and instead started practicing harder and spending more time cultivating individually. No matter what others did to inquire, those people were unwilling to waste time just chatting.

A strange commotion arose. It was light, and it didn’t really matter. But the incomplete Flotilla was affected first, followed by commander Choliac’s incomplete Fleet. They started appearing less on the headquarters grounds and spent more time cultivating, training, or practicing with their respective spaceships and Teams.

Yet, nobody knew that no one from the twin Eternal Return Team’s Frigates knew why they were so adamant. Not even Heian Ciemnosc was aware exactly, but his words were his words, and they followed them to the letter. If they didn’t venerate Heian Ciemnosc as the co-leading Team Leader who guided them to fight so many times and remain victorious each, they wouldn’t have become Heian Ciemnosc’s recruits to start with.

Some of the personnel were talented enough to catch any Flotilla commander’s eye, but the majority weren’t that good. They were mediocre, more or less. While many of these were at the Third Step, they wouldn’t advance to the next realm at any time. Yet, they all worked hard even after they gained enough fame to become soldier units of a better spaceship and official commanding figure. Instead, their attitude was that which earned them a spot in Heian Ciemnosc’s carousel of victory and fame!

Time passed. Thus, another 3 months went by. During this time, a movement was visible wherever one looked through the news. Then, it could be the Universal conveyance’s general news from their Universe, Galaxy, or Existence, showing hundreds of Flotillas and some Fleets moving in the same direction. Many incomplete Flotillas showed their face, too, and followed beside the rest.

But, at other times, it was the organizations’ Universal Conveyance forums, showing some Flotillas and incomplete Fleets flying near their space territory, passing by peacefully and with no accidents. Conflicts suddenly seemed to stop, and those about to brew were stopped out of nowhere. Something was coming, and whatever it was, it had everyone’s blood boiling in anticipation.

… The Crimsonbreaking Faction was an important organization stationed in this Existence. Of course, they also moved after the first month. Their forces reunited, and the last tiny dots of fleeing enemies would be targeted by other organizations. However, intentional or not, everyone in the Faction seemingly understood that whatever would happen… would be catastrophically big.

Today was the Change’s 37th year, 3rd month, 3rd week and 1st day. When everyone knew that the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s base would arrive at its desired location in a few days, every headquarters commander called their people for a meeting in the middle of their precincts.

Heian Ciemnosc, his Eternal Return Team, and its twin Frigates’ personnel were with him, covering his back and standing beside him. Ruo Wei was on his right, behind his shoulder, as they looked up at commander Choliac. The commander wore a stern, utterly serious countenance with crossed arms.

Whoosh… A gigantic screen hovered upwards behind commander Choliac as he gradually released his arms and faced his troops. They became tensed for no reason, and the commander knew what they were going through. He spread his arms and lightly commenced, his words halting everyone’s heartbeats for a second. “The Existence has met a dangerous foe.”

“... … …” The crowd was deadly silent. Nobody wanted to talk, but some felt the dire need to clarify things inside their heads. “Commander is someone attacking us?!” - “But why?! There’s absolutely no reason right now! It’s only been 3 decades since the fearsome 10 year war!!”

“Silence.” Commander Choliac’s eyes landed on everyone, not targeting the doubtful ones. It was reasonable to be like that. There was genuinely no apparent reason this should happen. But the Heraxle Clan didn’t stop what was happening…

“This isn’t something we can discuss. Not because of our status within the Existence, but because it is set and done! There’s no backing away! There should never be such a thing when our natal Existence is the eyes of another!” The commander’s words gained silence over the headquarters again. Everyone was here, so it was deadly silent after hearing him.

“Our Existence has been eyed by our neighbor, the Evergazing Existence.” The commander said before promptly continuing, “The Heraxle Clan has seen through this event and has reached to our Quiongu Fanhui Existence to form a scenario… While both sides have their frontline solid and complete, both Existences’ leading organizations’ younger generations will face each other in a battle to decide the outcome of this imminent war.”

“Listen to these words carefully,” the commander warned them before continuing, “While the younger generation will battle for the outcome, all battles elsewhere that do not harm the younger generation’s battle will be acceptable. So if one of the sides is winning… the losing side can force the all-out war between Existences…”

“!!” Heian Ciemnosc felt the Heraxle Clan’s doings…he felt shocked!
