Chapter 111 — Lethal Jealousy (4—Last Part)

Lethal Jealousy (4—Last Part)

Fweeiish. Plaka-ka-ka-akaka~.

"Aaaah!" The moment that a fiery tongue slipped in one of the holes at the right side of the armored car came in, the sect disciple inside of it retracted his hand with real pain showing on his face. His teammates looked at him as he hurriedly threw his hand and smacked it against the wall of the armored car. Immediately at a visible, rapid speed, his flaming hot flame became quelled, and the redness of it slowly disappeared as well.

As for the little tongue of a flame that slipped into the armored car, it bounced randomly in the interiors of the armored car for quite some time before ending up dissipating in midair before hitting any other place, becoming tinier and losing a portion of its flames over and over again with each bounce again the walls, ceiling or floor of the interiors.

“Just a bit more, hold it!” The team leader spoke, giving the other team that had a few lifeless bodies on their floor while they themselves only had 2 corpses among their ranks. The injured disciple, seeing the same and understanding what little time is left for these motherfuckers to get fucked, fiercely went back to the hole leading to the outside and began putting his whole strength into sending what else he had left of Power Energy outwards!

“Rgraaaaah!” Time and time again, one after the other, each time a tool broke from its overuse, another one would be picked up by that incensed disciple, giving the rest of the team and even from the other team an example to follow.

From the outside, the armored car could be seen getting closer and closer in, and what was supposed to be about ten or a dozen of armored cars in the mini blockade was now only with 8 armored cars while some at the outer perimeter of the blockade were melted down and the disciples within it… also melted down with their contents sliding outwardly from their respective armored cars.

From the armored cars’ holes, dozens and dozens of lights representing weapons, thrown weapons, dangerous tools, and defensive tools being used and used up. Endlessly aiming at any living being outside of it and simply counting the accorded time before those auxiliary disciples and subordinates of lower cultivation base were done ‘reloading’ and could bombard the pests once again, but it was quite a long now that more than 10 minutes have gone by.

Despite how little time it has actually been, ever since all battles in all outposts started, only several minutes had gone by, but that didn’t stop the sect and their armored cars from killing about 150,000 enemies in this amount of time altogether when counting all of the outposts’ kills.

The most frenetic outposts in battle were outpost 1 and outpost 2. And while outpost 1 had to deal with the bizarreness of the Moribund Yearning Cult’s methods, they also had to deal with 2 whole groups of the Preferential Light Justice Sect, instead of 1 like in outpost 2. But additionally, outpost 2 was facing the 2 groups of Eagerburning Flames Sect, which also had its whole members in a prongs attack against outpost 2, making it who knew how many times harder than the battles before - and even more so as they were so prepared…

“Now!” Suddenly, the armored cars that were being pushed back before but were now ordered to hold a semi-line of defense, hence ending up with such casualties. Their team leaders suddenly shouted, and with some taking a look at the outside, the driver of each armored car went out of their hiding spot and began rushing into the enemy disciples’ ranks without a care!

TRRCCRKKRRR… TRRCCRKKRRR… TRRCCRKKRRR… TRRCCRKKRRR…

In a mere moment, all armored cars that were previously seemingly cowardly hiding like a turtle over the southern and northern sides of outpost 2 began taking place in a sudden mobilization to roll over and run over all and every single enemy disciple possible!

“AAH!” - “Hurry, set the barrier, the barri- AAGHK!-” - “Heeelp! Help me, please, please help meeee!” - “They’re moving again. They can still move! Help!!”

Within just a few seconds’ worth of time, hundreds, thousands of enemy disciples became a sigh that the drivers could see from standing perplexed or running away in desperation in front of the armored cars or slightly towards the left and right, to suddenly fall down before not even a bump was felt by the armored car yet there was a sensation as if something squishy and sticky became latched onto the belly of each armored car that went through bodies of enemy disciples alike…

There was no mercy even following up on those occasions as the armored cars killed almost 20,000 other enemy disciples just with this, considering they all had a larger amount of troops in their ranks unlike in outpost 1, and the casualties suffered so far from their side, the sect’s troops were still facing a huge amount of enemies all rallied up and already encircling the rear of those fellow sect disciples at the eastern battlefield of the central outpost.

“Come, get those fuckers! GET THEM!” - “ENCIRCLE THEM! Don’t let them believe they have a way, meltdown every single one of them!!” - “Our brothers and sisters on the other side are already fearlessly charging against them, GOOOO!!” - “For the fucking mission! For ourselves!! For the Commander and our glory!!!”

After rolling to death a severe amount of casualties to the enemy but still not enough to rout them out, as they didn’t even seem to be bothered by such a thing happening, the armored cars had all the necessary time in the world to fully surround and entrap the enemy disciples spewing flames and trying to melt down the Phrenic realm and lower cultivation base troops on the other side.

Though they were of a lower cultivation base, the Eagerburning Flames Sect disciples weren’t in the known that they had been injected with chicken blood to the point that they no longer even cared about who the fuck and what the fucking level of their enemy in front was and had.

Being charged at by thousands and thousands of weaker enemies, though the first thought into the minds of the enemy disciples was to heroically and war god-like make them disappear with just a single and slow sweep of their arms from one side to another - it was a completely different situation in reality.

The moment that the ‘grand’ and ‘righteous and magical’ attacks they performed were only worth it to make the sect disciples have their clothes burn out at once and their skin and flesh start blazing, it didn’t even make them flinch more than necessary!

As a result, when the charging, fearless, and even mindless sect disciples charged into the enemy disciples, a brutal onslaught by nature and laws as organic met fire and inertia, speed and a sudden stop made their magic; it all came to one and a single line where countless lives were lost in a moment, the moment of the initial clash.

But that wasn’t it, as when the enemy disciples found themselves already surrounded just as their bosses were thinking of a possible retreat, even if letting it become a full rout as not even an orderly retreat was possible at all!

However, when they looked around, just for a second… that was enough for said bosses to realize what kind… of deep shit they were now in.

Armored cars at their left and right flanks, their entire rear as well and even farther to their sides. And not only that, but they all also had some defecting troops of their own that were instead met with an instantaneous death the moment they tried to jump over the armored cars or did as much as running towards the same. The thought of surrendering wasn’t so bad now.

And it happened, as a matter of fact, after the bosses of the Eagerburning Flame Sect could only watch as their numbers quickly went down to such an utterly impossible degree, and of how there was virtually not a single casualty from the sect disciples since such an offensive reached its full, complete function.

However, as they sent hundreds of messengers that ended up all dying except for one that their greatest boss asked a few remaining thousands to protect, finally came back alive with a response while those few thousands were basically gone. Yet, the outpost’s commander, Shidar’s response was…

Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

“We will kill you all until the very last of you.”

With such a message, besides appearing grim, the only thing that the Eagerburning Flames Sect disciples could do was to numbly… keep going.

They were, of course, not the only ones in a grim position, and, in fact…it could be said that they even got the nicest part of the central outpost’s 3 battlefields that ended up turning into a large, single one battlefield.

On the other side of the encirclement, the Preferential Light Justice Sect disciples weren’t anywhere as dumb or slow as what many ‘mortal’ generals of humanity mostly were, which meant that they quickly caught on the situation, the predicament, of the Eagerburning Flames Sect on the other side of the sudden brawl full of blood and tiny flashes of Power Energy and skills and techniques here and there.

And as the good and kind allies that they were, the icy enemy disciples immediately began to formulate an ordered retreat to let the flamy enemy disciples take the brunt of the sect’s troop’s whole fury and hatred, their bloodthirst, and bloodshot eyes that would be kept away from the bodies and souls of their fellow icy enemy disciples of the sect to run away safely.

But things just do not always go as planned, things, not just a thing or two…

When the icy enemy disciples were already turning around at the rear. There was a huge. Both in quantity and volume, of ‘Trckrr, trckrr, trckrr’. In desperation, from already knowing what it could all be about, the enemy disciples simply saw a large convoy of armored cars driving towards them, all together and orderly, but with blood and pieces of flesh that wore different colors including those of their own sect all over their steel silver armored bodies.

For the Preferential Light Justice Sect, it was death. What else could they do then? The Eagerburning Flames Sect’s side still had a way to deal with things as a last report, but… but they didn’t! But for the sect to see these enemy disciples being surrounded by not only their own armored cars… But also those from the relief forces, it was a majestic sight of extreme beauty!!

As if they weren’t incensed enough before, now that they saw the cavalry arrive, the whole sect disciples corps of the eastern outpost became one goddamn fiery warlord-like entity, laying waste to anything they saw which wasn’t their fellow trooper.

However… when the Eagerburning Flames Sect was just facing the last of whatever they could offer at all, figures appeared all around the walls of flames that were beginning to lose power. Those walls of flames have at the very least incinerated most of whatever projectile was sent to them and directly burned to ashes some other projectiles; it was now dwindling of color quickly with their yellowish-orange and bright yellow disappearing as mere seconds passed by.

“!!” Shidar and Li Saer, at this very moment, looked on with their eyes’ pupils and irises all shrinking, for as those figures that appeared amidst the flames at the worst situation of their respective sect was in were Conflagrate realm cultivators hovering above the walls of flames!

There were 2 such enemy cultivators, 1 was at the left flank from the sect’s point of view, while the other was at the right flank instead. Their figures were flying in the flames themselves, but as the walls continued to lose power rather quickly, their image became visible. And they were looking down with disgust at their fallen members as well as with disdain at the sect’s troops.

“Quick,” with a low breath, Shidar said to Li Saer as he closed his eyes. The cannon before them went on the move, aiming at the one at the left flank first, shooting quickly at him and without waiting for any cooldown of the sort for the cannon, aimed it at the one at the right flank before similarly shooting as well just as they were beginning to connect with the walls of flames!

“Hmph, you should just die altogether. Shame on the Eagerburning Flames Sect! Trash!!” The one at the left flank said, sending his arms downwards and letting his body rotate 90 degrees, a long tongue of flame came out from the wall of flames and moved towards the other wall of flames in a slithery motion in the air.

“Pathetic scoundrels, useless rats! And you all will die under the name and hegemony of the precious, powerful sect!!” The one at the right flank also said equal disgust and disdain for his own felled members and his enemies, who were looking up in apprehension but not forgetting about madly killing the enemy. There wasn’t a word from the Conflagrate realm cultivators about the Preferential Light Justice Sect disciples. Only some reluctant glint could be seen as they looked at them beauties, mostly the young ones around 14-15 years old.

But they still continued on with what they started, yet, at that moment… a whistling noise suddenly sounded, twice, as another 3 figures appeared around the long tongues of flames in midair in the middle trying to hold their arms up to ‘connect’ them fully to one another - also hovering in the air.

Pssss- Boom! Psssssss- Boom!

“!!!” At once, those other Conflagrate realm cultivators of a much lower stage than the first 2 who appeared were shocked, even halting their movements as the long tongues of flames stopped in midair and the walls of flames began to lose power yet again, putting in danger the tongues of flames that were beginning to thin out…

“!!!” As they watched how those 3 other Conflagrate realm cultivators were then panicky moving about their arms, flinging them so that the tongues of flames would connect sooner than ever later, Shidar took the Identification Token from Li Saer’s hands and used it herself.

The cannon quickly moved, like a chicken that found 3 grains of rice spread in 3 different directions. It quickly and nimbly moved, shooting a bout of pure energy from its mouth that was somehow silent and mute to the ears of Shidar and Li Saer and even of the troops fighting in the battlefield - but not for the 3 Conflagrate realm enemy cultivators.

Psss- Boom!

The first one fell, directly becoming a beautiful cloud, only Shidar knew of how damn difficult it was to land a hit on just a person that was well over 10 kilometers away without a guidance system that their Commander Ciemnosc had talked about before. The other 2 remaining enemy cultivators persisted after a little bit of time, however, and went back to their own.

Psss- Booom! Whoooooosh~!

There was another explosion, mute and silent for the sect and its troops on the battlefield yet again, but not to the enemy. The tongues of flames were just a short 1 meter away from each other as the explosion occurred, receding half a meter instantly backwards and forcing the remaining enemy Conflagrate realm cultivator to sacrifice the skin and some flesh from his left arm to catch the remaining tongue of flame that receded just a little bit backwards with a tiny tongue of flame from his left palm - he was now holding both of them with the utmost difficulty.

But right then, from the back of where Shidar’s armored car was, a figure that zoomed in the distance moved towards the battlefield, the very center of it above the sect disciples’ heads and right where the remaining enemy Conflagrate realm cultivator was holding on… and actually joining both long tongues of flames!!

Psss-...boom- SSHHHAAA.

Shidar did it, the blast of purely energy clashed against the Conflagrate realm enemy cultivator, but the enemy cultivator in question managed to attract both tongues of flames to each other just a little more… a little extra… enough for them to connect!

The most attention grabbing sound came out the moment the explosion from the cannon went off and the enemy cultivator disappeared in a simple outburst of white, beautiful translucent energy for 1.5 seconds as it disappeared abruptly… only to reveal a huge ball of fire that only ‘thumped’ twice like a heart - before it became a world full of yellowish-dark orange flames for all sect disciples below.

BOUOOMP!- Whoosh! SWISH SWISH~...

The air up above, just several meters above their heads, turned into a screen of flames that came right down at the eyes of everybody down below. But at the same time that a cocoon of flames with its interior full of flames instead of beauty or a living being, flames that were made to kill, burn and devastate - the previous figure from before moved right into the center of the sect disciples and disappeared into the flames… Wantonly.

“...!!?” Shidar was awestruck silent, and… simply dumbfounded. Only when she and Li Saer watched as flames acted like lava, melting the bodies of anyone that they touched, even if it was either friend or foe and even more so organic. While the armored cars were in fact mostly fine with some getting a few extra dents from the impact of the flames bursting out so powerfully.

As they then saw the flames disappear, seemingly not allowed to persist by the laws of nature and laws that they are unknown of still, which they are sure to find out when they break through into the Obsidiafying realm and are forced to dissipate after just a few seconds. Revealing to their awestruck eyes a most disastrous, tragic, and sad result.

Thousands and thousands of sect disciples but mostly subordinate cultivators died, not even having a single piece of cloth, hair, or skin remaining, let alone organs or bones. Only a most grotesque image of what their skin color used to be remained melted on the ground, the dirt that had already become grassless with all the fierce and fearless charges and footwork of all troops within the battlefield.

The melted down remains from these and literally, almost every single enemy disciple from both the Eagerburning Flames Sect and from actually every Preferential Light Justice Sect disciple became extended as if their bodies were forcefully stretched to 3 times their volume and sizes before finally melting down, creating a puddle of death that was impossible to… accept.
