Chapter 130 — It Breaks...

Chapter 130 — It Breaks...

It Breaks...

Ciemnosc's eyes gazing on his eyes, the sect master Holoriu felt a jolt for a moment, a type of thing he hadn't felt even after dozens and dozens of years from having become all that he is now. But yet, the sect master let that strange and feeble passing feeling of being afraid to go away, shoving it aside before returning the glare to Ciemnosc's eyes. And in them, he saw the increasingly growing dangerous eyes of a beast.

“Animal.” Spat out the sect master towards the inner sect disciple of the same sect that he was the master of, making even grand ancestor Xing Kei lower his head, blinking his eyes with his head glancing at sect master Holoriu’s back left profile with his head tilted and with his left eyebrow furrowed.

“...” On the other hand, still without talking, Ciemnosc looked back at ‘his’ sect master Holoriu’s eyes for a few more seconds before returning them to sect master Yolin’s, who were now eased up and…and carried the same glint that was in the Moribund Yearning Cult, Self-Mutilating Honores Sect and, hell, even the Eagerburning Flames Sect’s group’s eyes.

“Huu, heerf~...” Looking at the difference in them, also seeing almost all of those behind sect master Yolin share the same kind of glint in their eyes, with Helala and the Preferential Light Justice Sect’s grand elder and grand ancestor remaining quite neutral and constantly looking at the sect master who seemed to be the one and only to call the shots.

Breathing through his nostrils Ciemnosc’s breathing sound was all that remained ‘alive’ within the entire floor’s arena. Whereas everyone else was slowly but forcefully evacuated outside of the arena, with rows and rows of thousands emerging from the sides behind and under the bleachers towards the perfect center of the arena, where Ciemnosc just happened to be.

“And here I thought everyone was thinking too much. So it is my fault I ‘defended’ you, all, saying that there was no way such a boorish and brainless, idiotic thing would happen; no way, right? Then, what is it that you want?” Without moving a single iota, Ciemnosc spoke as if he was a dead corpse because corpses are dead. Looking still towards the general direction of the sect master of the Preferential Light Justice, but no longer at the sect master of said sect, just at their group in general.

“Ciemnosc, is- a i- is there any cultivation method that you can give us? The one that has granted you this much knowledge, information, and power?” Sect master Yolin was the one to speak this time, but it was somehow fitting, as her still somewhat soft yet now really cold voice.

However, she could also be heard to be affected by the words Ciemnosc spoke. There was nothing stopping them from ‘disciplining’ this boy, it would be just a matter of motioning for a slapping motion, and he would be gone - but!

“...” And Ciemnosc, all he did, was look back at her another time. Leaving his eyes on her, they were like nothing that he has shown her before, not the same kind of eyes that only a child his age could only have but the ones that she figured would be used only for the sake…of facing an enemy. But, perhaps, this…was just fitting - as well.

“No.” Answered Ciemnosc at last, but rather slowly and definitively. And that, that alone seemed to have made it, as sect master Yolin looked on with her eyes and demeanor changing from ever possible having a tiny tad of wanting to speak with him. In actuality, it seemed like sect master Yolin suddenly could no longer hold her disgust for him and shoved it all onto his face right in front of him just 3 meters away from him as a matter of fact.

“Then you leave us no choice, Ciemnosc…it’s like that how you wanted it.” Spoke the cold sect master Yolin, leaving Ciemnosc still befuddled about what kind of thing they were even supposed to do with him, sacrifice him? That was simply too ridiculous, or what, perhaps…

Just as Ciemnosc was beginning to feel that there was more fresh air due to the lack of people around them, from his back and his front came thousands and thousands of cultivators ranging from the Link Consolidation realm to the Spirit Gathering realm, there even being some at the 10th stage of the latter. He felt as if someone or something, or both at the same time, were trying to put pressure on the whole left side of his body.

“...” Looking to his left, where the sensation could easily be felt that it came from, Ciemnosc saw with his darkest eyes consuming all of the sunlight falling onto it and disappearing without a bit of reflection on nor in them, as pastor Erquiles seemed to have made some kind of move, but also seemed to fail. “!”

The pastor himself was shocked appearance, not only that, he felt like his body was somewhat weakened as he looked at Ciemnosc in terror and could not help but step backwards a few times. Yet, nobody noticed as they were looking at Ciemnosc even worse than before, or more specifically, at his body…

Only the next pastor in line, preacher Noles, caught the pastor’s body that seemed to not visibly but internally age for decades out of nowhere. Such findings did indeed also surprise him in the worst way, but seeing that Ciemnosc was still fine and all that, he knew that he had to continue in the name of the Moribund Yearning Cult and to keep maintaining the high profile they have been having all this long in this particular situation.

“Ciemnosc, you must understand. That even with all the things that you have done, which are all unforgivable… There is a way that you can repay the world with just one single nod from your head.” Preacher Noles said, his tone was severe but he wasn’t being condescending, as Ciemnosc has been treated with this whole time; on a whole other level at that.

“Haha, aeh, and with all this public around to commemorate this day in the future where I will surely be a euro, right? Oh, please do tell, oh.” Ciemnosc chortled out a laugh, walking a bit on his spot with his feet raising unnecessarily high, gesturing towards the more than 10,000 sudden ‘infiltrators’ that had now fully taken all exits away from Ciemnosc’s hands. With the upper floors and lower floors naturally already being closed off by the arenas themselves spread through the entire diameter of each floor.

“...Ciemnosc, this is no matter to laugh at. It concerns the future of the whole world!” Preacher Noles pressed on, with Shaman Doney showing her support on those words by nodding, her cute dumb-looking self and her yellow long hair with braids making her look impossible to say no to.

“Ciemnosc, your body holds the secret of the world!” Preacher Noles said, not suddenly, but the thousands of people, who were still around and some of the younger generation among the groups of the 4 major organizations had an abrupt change in their expressions. Leaving their ‘in battle’ stances for seconds, they looked at the preacher, who then continued.

“The kind of knowledge you possess and the ability you have to understand everything. Ciemnosc, it is understandable if you are not aware of it, but there is definitely something wrong with you. Something different, and it is exactly what the world needs to keep progressing. Even the world itself might become stronger because of you and not just us- everyone.”

As preacher Noles spoke, he did with such passionate facial expression and eyes that the youngsters listening to it were becoming riled up by the possibility after hearing those meaningful words. Then, the preacher continued, not letting the youngsters have some more murmur among each other.

“For hundreds of thousands of years, we’ve been stuck at the Obsidiafying realm as our apex, but that is obviously not the limit! When those stranger outsiders came from another place, there were many methods we tried to prove, but none were willing to aid us. They said it was something that we all had to figure out, and so we have been trying for the last year, but to no avail have we found any clue on where to look for them.”

“Ciemnosc,” the preacher took a few steps forwards. The cult pastor was already fine on his own and could even stand up straight without a hurdle. Coming closer than sect master Yolin to a 2 meters distance from Ciemnosc, making sect master Yolin’s eyebrows shake, but just a tiny bit.

Then, his eyes landed on Ciemnosc’s forehead. The heart, and then at his dantian before returning once more to his eyebrows, as the preacher didn’t dare look into those darkest eyes so up close, the preacher went on. “In your body, that the heavens have sent to us, are what is necessary for us- for the world to go on. Without you coming to us, showing your magnificence and the type of things someone with secrets in you, we…might really be lost.”

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

The preacher’s voice became somewhat desolate as if he couldn’t nor dared to imagine such a cruel and desolate fate, it was just horrible. So, he continued, “We just need- the world just needs you to give up your body, it’s all that is needed, Ciemnosc! Once we can study it, know what it’s behind it all and make use of it for the sake of- of this world!”

“Then… Only then can we emerge from the terrible fate that this injustice has caused us for almost a million years!!” But alright, at this point, the preacher’s eyes were…mad. His voice went up a few hitches and his hands began trembling as he stepped toward Ciemnosc and was just this close to placing his palms on Ciemnosc’s shoulders.

He continued speaking, his hands aiming at those shoulders and eyes all crazy, “That’s all we need. That’s all! Ciemnosc, we may even gain a new way to revive you…revive…yes, revive…revive you. Nature cannot just simply give us the answer, it must also give us a a-a- a long term goal to find the truth and become beings that are illuminated by light, finally shrouding away from this darkness!”

Pat…whoosh, tap tap.

But just as the preacher’s palms were about to land on Ciemnosc’s weak and vulnerable, pathetic shoulders of a Link consolidation realm 10th stage cultivator, Ciemnosc lowered his body just a few inches, rotated his body around and tapped the floor with the ball under both his feet’s toes before landing a meter and half away from his previous position and closer to the thousands of cultivators— sect disciples —of the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect; giving them his back.

“...” - “...” - “...” - “...” - “...” All 5, the preacher and the 4 groups of major organizations, upon seeing Ciemnosc evade that ‘move’, became awfully silent. Deadly silent; forebodingly silent.

“Injustice? You have been lazing around, seeking ways to gain domination over this or that, treating ‘mortals’ like cockroaches, except you fuck them! You need them to even exist! You come from them! You are born mortal!!” Ciemnosc’s voice's sudden elevation wasn’t a toy-like sensation, it really reached even outside of his floor’s arena and traveled around the entire stadium - without anyone doing a single thing to enhance his voice.

And his tone, ooh, his tone. It was filled with some kind of berating, as if enraged but non-raging; disciplining kids but talking to the oldest and most powerful people in the entire world! And that didn’t stop him, oh no ohh, he continued.

“Laws of nature? Yo- ahh- hkahahaha, you dare to talk about nature when you have been stuck in the same realm for hundreds of thousands of years?! Laughable! Too laughable! So very laughable…” Though Ciemnosc yelled so loudly at first, his last few words were like a wheezing breeze against their necks, softly passing but unknowingly arriving so close to the most vulnerable parts of their necks, yet it wasn’t an intimate touch.

“If you even understood nature, then what is the point of ‘mother nature’ sending me to you just to satiate your stupidity?! You are not even laughable clowns and much less pitiful ones! You are mere trash that doesn’t allow anything to progress and coexist, defecating on all sorts of life that don’t agree with you, or as long as you want it!!”

Not knowing why, though, Ciemnosc became extremely incensed now, all of a sudden and coming from who knew where. As he took a little pause, everyone else looked on seemingly not attempting to even try and take a word for it, they all just waited.

‘How am I this angry?? Was it their betrayal? …I couldn’t care less! Was it their words? Did they humiliate me too much and did the things that I believe they did? …No, I also don’t care! … … Was it…their- despite- no, yes, YES!’

‘They want to…eat me, that’s it… They want to…they want to…EAT- no, DEVOUR ME?!’

“And what about the darkness?! What’s even that supposed to be? To mean? Hahaha! You don’t even know what you’re talking about. You all are so incredibly self-destructive, not even doing anything for yourselves, you just go ahead and tour around the ‘mortal world’ that you so much antagonize and put below your already too high up feat in your heavenly horse”

“What a facade!!!” Ciemnosc suddenly spat out in a bark, then continued just as before, “You don’t even know a single Element. Oh, but you move around wagging those tails that say you do when all you do is make battles that lead to war! All you do is find places to terrorize because you don’t even feel threatened by any possible natural disaster! Haehehaheehahaha, oh! The irony! Ha!”

“Cowardice, lust, that feeling of false bravado when dealing with the weakest and fragile lives of those who made you…” But abruptly, as Ciemnosc continued, his voice suddenly turned awfully quiet, calm, and soft, very so softly. “You’ve long since become deranged, you think you own every place around, even if it is not actually even in your territory. And do the atrocities you’ve been doing for who knows so long…”

“None of you, even if all that you said could- eheh, somehow be true, do not deserve it.” Ciemnosc looked around him, spinning thrice in a row and pointing with just his left index finger towards the crowds and the 4 groups of the major organizations that were slowly moving back and letting the thousands of disciples take the ‘front’.

“In fact,” in yet another sudden change - high-pitched tone, Ciemnosc spoke those 2 words before going to the same voice from before; calm, soft, and very damnably quiet. “Since it’s my body since those are my ‘secrets’ and since I am the one who is your god… Then, it’s all up to me, and I tell you, you’ll get nothing from this body of mine.”

“You won’t eat me! No! And even if you try it, I’ll rather bring it all to the darkness that you so much fear!!!!” To the last spoken- no, roared word, Ciemnosc’s cute and sweet voice seemed to turn incomprehensibly brutal. As if aged but not aged at the same time, to a look that seemed to allow them to see the Ciemnosc in the future, a simple thought that terrorized everyone around as everyone was aware of the capabilities of the current, ‘weak’ Ciemnosc.

“Ci- Cie- Little Ciemnosc, look, if you let this happen, everything will be alright in the future!” shaman Doney spoke at this moment, her eyebrows sank worriedly. If anything, she was basically the last hope for Ciemnosc’s for a way out of here, but why…would he…in any FUCKING mind…accept that?!

“What if I say no?” Ciemnosc answered right away, without any hesitation. And his eyes, darkest and lifeless, seemed to make a huge number on her out of nowhere, but she just stepped back furthermore and didn’t seem to intend to partake in what was to come.

Step, step step, step step step, step step step step, step step, step step, step, step step step…

The sound of thousands of sect disciples could be heard, and without receiving any words in return, Ciemnosc took out 3 different items. One was the device that he was already used to using, putting it on his back and with several swords and some blades, all top notch quality, set into each of the available holes for resting such a type of blade weapons. Then, he took out 2 top notch quality blades from his Covert Space bags as well and held them in his hands.

Oh, he was ready. Blood boiling and fingertips getting itchy, the same for his little toes.

“Then, we will have to see how long can a little actual monstrous being like you can last against those who can already overcome you one on one, haha- ha!” The voice of the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect’s sect master was heard by Ciemnosc, those words echoing from behind him, as his right was always silent coming from the Eagerburning Flames Sect.

“Oh, what~. You won’t be getting into it as well? I’m sure the thrill of it is getting to you, guys.” Ciemnosc said, not directing his words towards his previous sect master, but every single group from a major organization. Hell, they even brought their entire utmost upper echelon and highest status members just to witness ‘his’ fall, weren’t they so nice to him?! Time to return it…

“Oh no, no, Ciemnosc…” Pastor Erquiles spoke this time as the faces of all major organizations began to disappear among the crowd to one’s naked eyesight; except Ciemnosc. And as Ciemnosc had spoken those words before, the sect master of the Preferential Light Justice Sect was the one walking backwards, taking her steps backwards…the slowest...

Her eyes widely opened more and more the more her legs moved on her own without her heart’s consent; was it regret? Pity? Sadness? Just tragedy, or perhaps, ongoing rue?

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps; but Ciemnosc gave those eyes of such power that they could make a whole planet lose their spirit, with lifelessness and indifferently turned his head to the pastor, who continued to speak as he did. Then it was only then that…broken heart pieces fell to pieces in the dark.

“There’s no need for us to act. You will get to be ours one way or another,” the pastor spoke while putting emphasis on the second half of his words before going on, this time with a rather stern, deadly serious tone. “They will give your body to us, take it as a heroic last moment where you can last until you realize that your choice was wrong, then kneel in surrender before us, begging us to use your body for the sake of the world.”

“... Or so will the records tell; you, as the pathetic wrong person!” Spitting along with the last few words being almost screamed shrilly, the pastor’s voice then disappeared… And in its place then came a sword’s shining lower edge blade due to the sunlight - unlike Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes that turned around just to glance at the incoming blade aiming now to cut his head into two through his right eye.

His eyes consumed even the shine coming off from the edge of the sword’s blade!

Swish…clang- cuuh cuuh cuuuh~...CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR…~!!
