Mission Selection
"Woah..." - "GASP..." - "He killed him off just like that?" - "He did..." - "Damn, did you see that look on his face at the end? It was like Ciemnosc went crazy! Is he as crazy as Goddess Valeria? No wonder they...all night...phewsh!"
Ssssiiing~.
Ciemnosc took out a towel from his Covert Space bag and cleaned the blade with his left hand, holding it with his right one, as he walked towards the referee. But what only Ciemnosc understood, not even Valeria, who was once again seated with Fu Lan and the latter seemed even to have just become frustrated and stood up, was that Ciemnosc was using the towel to clean his left handed fingernails filled with blood, a bit of a vein from somewhere and some mushy, soft flesh. His mind eased the more he properly cleaned his brutal nails.
“H-ey, you aren’t…just leaving yet, right?” The referee entered the arena and semi-blocked the exit of the same just as Ciemnosc had already kept the bloodied and dirtied towel away and was checking all his fingernails, which made him look as if he was being a bit arrogant eh. Ciemnosc didn’t even raise his head to look at the referee, he passed through the arm that the referee ‘blocked’ him with, which only remained unmoving for 3 seconds before it gave way without Ciemnosc needing to even utter a noise.
“...” On the other hand, while Ciemnosc himself was silent and enjoying the silence of the arena, walking towards Valeria’s seat when the blondie Fu Lan appeared before him. She had already stood up and, with a face that was anything but content. She glared a bit down at Ciemnosc and her bright azure eyes twinkled with non-friendly lights.
“Have you ever seen the Regional map? You should take a look at the Little Lake. I heard that an incoming huge event will be starting soon, though I can’t tell for sure when it will be. Maybe be careful?” Fu Lan spoke, perhaps for the first time so directly to him, and only now did Ciemnosc lift his head up to gaze at her eyes, some tempted feral emotion still caught in his eyes.
“!” Fu Lan jolted her neck backwards a little, her eyes opened fully as she took a look at Ciemnosc, feelings of being lower than low and more common than a commoner ignited fully in her heart without her noticing at first. But then, as she became aware of such embarrassing notions that Ciemnosc instilled in her heart as she looked at him, she wrinkled up her beautiful blonde eyebrows and formed a ‘to terrify with’ image of her face and closed in on Ciemnosc’s personal space.
“I hope you know your place before it is. Too, late! You’ll better never find me alone. Because the moment I do will be the same moment you’ll start running!” Fu Lan spouted, barking at Ciemnosc and trying to make him step back with her great bosom pressing almost against his neck. But a clear, young woman’s voice came from behind her, a bit far away, and was rather haughty; challenging.
“I hope you are not trying to actually kill a cultivator 2 realms below you, Miss Lan? That would be too much, I would then have to protect my little Junior Brother then.” When Valeria reached both Ciemnosc and Fu Lan, the crowd woke up from looking at ‘tiger’, but they couldn’t loudly cheer anymore due to the ongoing drama.
Right now, as Fu Lan heard Valeria’s words, her chest heaved up and down, and Ciemnosc’s chin got quite a bit itchy, so he put her large breasts away with his hands and said in still a mostly cute voice, “Hey, Senior Sister. They smell good, and they are really nice to grab, huh? But uh, I’m not really comfortable with doing it right now.”
Valeria: “...”
The crowd: ゞ◎Д◎ヾゞ◎Д◎ヾゞ◎Д◎ヾ
Fu Lan: ᭥(º෴º)𐃳 ☜(`o´) Ψ(`_´ # )↝
Ciemnosc: ( • )( • )ԅ(≖⌣≖ԅ)
“...Fine!” After fuming, her very bright pale skin to a pinkening color, Fu Lan retracted her breasts ‘furiously’ and gave Ciemnosc a last, most powerful threatening glare as she rushed away. Following her were her 3 remaining minions as they looked at Ciemnosc like he raped their 18 daughters as a young boy.
Step, step, step, step, step, step…
“... …WOOOOOOOOO!!...” The crowd finally erupted. The entire arena rumbled while Ciemnosc scrunched up his face with his left ear not really feeling pain but his face expressing he was feeling a lot of pain, ah.
Swoosh, rustle~.
From afar, came a pair of arms that hugged his head, uncaring about the crowd around who grew silent…before becoming angry and fuming at Ciemnosc, understanding the vileness that Fu Lan sees in him, very well at that.
With words such as devil’s spawn, lecherous, and even ‘evil man’ hurling towards Ciemnosc, he also ignored them all as he felt and smelled those small breasts that love to have his head in-between and on them; sigh.
Looking up, Ciemnosc saw Valeria’s beautiful face. She had a playful glint in her black eyes as well as praising. Then, they became warmer and showed pride, bathing Ciemnosc with nice feelings. She spoke to him amidst the clamoring crowd. “Congratulations on becoming an Inner Disciple of the sect. I’m proud of you, Little Ciemnosc.”
‘Now ‘little’ too? Tsk.’ Ciemnosc pouted mentally, he kept his darkest, now calmed eyes locked at hers, but he said with a correcting and annoying tone. “I’m still not an inner sect disciple, big sis. That’s not how it works~. I gotta wait until someone comes and gives me the thumbs up. Or something.”
“...” Valeria looked down at him, her expression deadpan, she said flatly and slightly pressing him tight against her chest. “Keep talking; keep talking little boy. We’ll see if you come alive out of the stadium if I open my shirt and get you in.”
“!!!” Ciemnosc immediately restrained his shocked face, using his blood flow to make his face show off warm tears, he cutely and sweetly spoke. “Big sis is such an incredible sis. She protected me from an evil witch, I could’ve been eaten away without finding my wifey first!”
“...Alright, alright. Nobody is gonna eat you, should we go? I’ll drop you off at your old enclave, pack your th- nevermind, just get ready to receive whoever is gonna show you to your promotion.” Valeria smirked lightly, a rare sight. She was naturally taken advantage of as skilled stalker girls took hundreds of photos of her smirk in just a couple of seconds with straight and even some with deadpan faces.
“Okay.” Ciemnosc stopped his act, stood with his back straight, and presented his right arm to his great, heroic big sis. She smiled for half a moment before taking his arm, and locking it with her left one, and started walking off to the exit of the stadium’s floor. But she made a little turn of her head towards the referee, and the latter immediately shrunk his pupils!
Whoosh whoosh.
“Eh? EH?! No, no no no, wait!” A pair of flowing figures moved towards the referee, their backs having a robe with the words ‘acting elder’ read on their backs. Their cultivation base was felt by the crowd and they could instantly deduce that these weren’t simply acting elders like the rest - they were at the Conflagrate Realm!
As the referee began struggling to be freed and yelled and yelled, the acting elders ignored and directly, lawlessly, flew out of the stadium to deal with that referee. None of what the referee might have had been promised as a protection in case of anything happening was active, he was taken away and he was never to be seen again.
. . .
In front of the gates leading to the Outer Sect Disciple enclave.
Ciemnosc went down the motorcycle and began walking towards the enclave, but Valeria stopped and dragged him back down, his helmet still on and without saying anything when leaving. How can this unruly boy behave like this?!
Tap-lack.
With her helmet, she pushed him against her helmet. They kissed like this for a few seconds as her upturned eyes at him softened and looked at him knowingly. Ciemnosc instead smiled with victory on his side as he hugged her shoulders a little tight, making angery Valeria into a content Valeria instead.
Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
“Take care. Pick you up in a few hours. I have to check something… let’s talk about it when I come back and… don’t make any ‘rash’ decisions, understood?” Valeria only let their kiss break off when he saw Ciemnosc nodding with his eyes, too unwilling to possibly stop the kiss prematurely, the little bastard.
“Hm, see you soon then, Ciemnosc.” With that, Valeria sat up on her seat and gave Ciemnosc a clear view of her front body before finally leaning over her motorcycle and zooming off in the distance.
Trckrr~~...
“Sigh,” Ciemnosc exhaled out, looking at a butt that was so firm that even if it was small, he would’ve given it so many massages from his hands whose experience had been enhanced after many times of going back to his memories of being with Aola and Samina.
Step, step.
Walking towards the enclave, the new dude at the casement looked at Ciemnosc lazily and uncaringly. Ciemnosc went past the gate and walked towards his bedroom. Arriving at it, Ciemnosc entered it and picked a few stuff that he wouldn’t mind getting robbed of, like a few tens of thousands of Inferior grade Powerful Stones that every outer sect disciple would kill 1,000 just to get one.
And after Ciemnosc was done with keeping it all into one of these 3 Covert Space bags to carry his currency around, also tied at the left of his waist, Ciemnosc opened the door only to see a Taldes looking at him with his right hand raised and about to knock on the door.
“You came.” Ciemnosc blinked rapidly and nodded with a tilted head. Taldes nodded with a gulp as he dared not dilly dally, speaking with a quick pace and debriefing tone. “Sir Ciemnosc, there were only 100 Supreme grade Powerful Stones that the Grand Elder could trade for you, she didn’t take any of them, but the cost was double…so you lost 200,000 Inferior grade Powerful Stones in return…sorry.”
“...” Ciemnosc shook his head quite slightly and lifted his left hand to gesture to Taldes to go on, “Well, here they, gulp, are. And here’s the letter so you can see I’m not cheating you from Grand Elder’s very own hands. But…she also ordered me to tell you, well..”
“Speak.” Ciemnosc looked into Taldes’s face and said lightly, not putting any pressure on the latter, but still making him feel like a subordinate anyway. Tolde spoke after once more gulping and breathing a bit deeper into his lungs, “Grand Elder won’t be… able to visit you, sir Ciemnosc, I’m afraid. She is currently held by her duty all around the borders with the Preferential Light Justice Sect. Since she can’t come here, she ordered me to relay to you the words that she will still try her best to find you at any time, and as soon as possible.”
Tap, tap.
“...” Ciemnosc looked at Taldes, more or less disappointed for sure, which Taldes could read even if he was dumb. After some more time, Ciemnosc looked down at the Covert Space bag, transferring it all into his currency bags and then returning the Covert Bag before looking at Taldes,” If that’s all, then I’m leaving.”
Step step step step, step step.
Ciemnosc tapped Taldes’s right arm twice with his left hand as he stepped out from his ex-bedroom, not caring about the bedroom nor the Supreme Powerful Stones being given… And just as he was halfway through his way to reach the gates, Taldes came rushing back at him from behind before stopping in front of Ciemnosc once he turned around and said while taking a few documents from his own Covert Space bag.
“AH- I- I’m sorry, almost forgot- haahh~! Ahkeum, ahem.” Taldes was, for some reason, actually tired, to which Ciemnosc didn’t know if he should attribute that to the scene that they ‘played’ just now and just plainly looked at Taldes, kinda annoyed though.
Rustle, flip flip.
“...? …!” Looking at the documents, Ciemnosc took them from the extended out arms and hands of Taldes, reading through them with an expressionless face before raising his left eyebrow. After indifferently looking at it for a couple of seconds extra, as if to reaffirm his reading through earlier, Ciemnosc then selected one of the documents and made it clear to Taldes before once again leaving with an exchange of ‘manly’ nods.
…Step, step, step…
“!!” Looking at the back of Ciemnosc as he walked away, Taldes felt the pressure building from the incoming moves of ‘all’. He needed to deeply breathe in and out a few more times until he watched Ciemnosc hope on a motorcycle to basically dry hump a beauty, which had not much meat to speak of, which made the jealousy even more powerful since their whole bodies would be against each other even more tightly.
Then, once he was finally calmed and remembered his mission, he walked off to his bedroom, which was also his office to take care of certain - few - matters within the Outer Sect Disciple enclave. But while starting to walk away, he looked down at the document Ciemnosc selected, and his eyes explosively opened wider… his blood boiling!
…VVRRRUUUUUUU~~...
Meanwhile, Ciemnosc, who was with his body hugging Valeria from the back began to ponder in silence and, having understood his current mood, Valeria let him be quiet and stick his flaccid phallus all over her bum and back, even wiggling a bit without shying away anymore with a serious, semi indifferent expression. She couldn’t help herself from it anymore.
‘...’ At this moment, Ciemnosc had his eyes closed for a few minutes already on their way to the new Inner Sect Disciples enclave. His soon-to-be upgraded Identification Token already with the notification to head out towards the Inner Sect Disciple enclave in order to retrieve his new gifts and to update his status and Identification Token.
However, he suddenly opened his eyes; his closed eyelids which had a serene look despite the fast speed of the motorcycle at all times. Opened as if having decided something following ample premeditation. They became indifferent, seemingly dead in an emotionless demeanor, Valeria in return could feel some more fresh coolness coming from his head through his helmet - for as crazy as that sounded as Ciemnosc showed no signs of Elemental ‘use’.
There were a total of 2 options for Ciemnosc to choose from, and it was basically a huge, great mission ongoing that was bordering on becoming a whole operation but was still not quite there yet. From such, and due to his renown growing as of lately and just today as well, Ciemnosc was allowed to choose from whichever type of mission he wanted… because he would be leading it!
Even then, this wasn’t a mission that even Inner Sect Disciples could come and join it or be selected to attend it, let alone lead it. Only those that were thought out well over matter and that had been either showing a great performance without ‘fakeness’ of any kind or had attained a lot of merit through their actions overall.
But that was for inner disciples, core disciples could actually enlist themselves to the mission in question, and lots of them were being selected left and right over the last week, which was growing sonorous as many core disciples of the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect began returning to the sect and the news of conflict sparkling within the Little Lake…were true.
Little Lake, the one and only actual source, a body of water that wasn’t as small as any lake or river yet wasn’t anything like a sea as well, as the rumored sea far away, very far away from this Region was filled with dangerous maritime Creatures - the Little Lake wasn’t.
However, this Little Lake had a most basic natural defensive position. From the south, it had mountains. From its southeastern, it had mountains in-between the Little Lake and the Moribund Yearning Cult’s territory. And from the west, there were even more mountains that covered any enemy that had previously attacked the west in an ‘easier than easy’ way.
It was all just a pity that the Little Lake wasn’t any ordinary body of water. Besides being almost as big as the whole west, northwestern, and southwestern of the Region, it never dried up, nor did it ever shrink down a bit despite taking industrial amounts of water from it. Be t from the most shallow waters to the darkest deep blue waters of the same.
It also had a couple of forests on its east, and from all of that, the Preferential Light Justice Sect was already contending with the sect. Not only that, the Moribund Yearning Cult was beginning to ferociously make their way into the center of the Region once more. They weren’t going to be left behind in this!
And the Eagerburning Flames Sect, though silent from the moment, it could, at any time, burst out of their safe haven of desert, hottest temperatures, and unbearable territory to be invaded - and also attack the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect all the same. Such pincer-like attacks happened, always… before a great war was to erupt…
And now, Ciemnosc had 2 options for that matter, for the sake of advancing the plans of trying to conquer the Little Lake for the umpteenth time, a thing which Ciemnosc has known of for a few months already. And thinking back to it… it sounds rather crazy, very superficial that… Ciemnosc himself has achieved so damn much and broken through so much in so little time… he wondered how his Sister was doing; if Aola and Samina were doing alright… maybe he really shouldn’t have let them go.
Core disciples weren’t even going to gain any leading position for these 2 choices for the mission. It was even going to be a rather hefty position. If Oro back then leading a Squad was already spacious and troublesome enough, with many mistakes and clear errors being committed one after the other as if the entire Hidden squad was addicted to it, then the role of leading about tens of thousands of disciples ranging from the Inner Sect Disciple enclave to the Core Disciple Enclave was bound to be even more drastically involving action and losses.
Yet, only one of them would really have tens of thousands of disciples to lead, and the other one not that much more than 10,000 or so; the leaders of both such divisions of the mission were to be acting elders and not disciples, at the very least.
Yet, Ciemnosc, who was a ‘mere’ inner sect disciple. Was given free choice over any other person and decision taken by anyone else? Signed up by not only the Grand Elder but even the Sect Master, Grand Elder, and the richest, most capable Elder Tin?! Well shit, it was it for Ciemnosc…
Yet, once again. What made Ciemnosc surprised to see the documents and made him ‘reaffirm’ his reading through it wasn’t any of that…but a hidden little signature left behind by an Array, one that only those near Ciemnosc’s level could comprehend. It wasn’t visible to anyone else, of course, and Ciemnosc deleted it right after, and there were no words yet it could be understood in the language and idiom of array formation.
“Heh,” Ciemnosc grinned, sending out a little chuckle through his sharp teeth, plain white and…looking like horribly sharp fangs when opened up without lips to cover them.
“...” From the way she felt on her back, hearing Ciemnosc’s chuckle and ‘hearing’ him smile, Valeria seemingly felt at ease, she looked at the darkening sky and also felt free. A pure, little girl’s smile flourished on her heroic, pretty face - and Ciemnosc hugged her some more eh.
…
