Interrogation... For What?
An hour before the Frigate could reach at the Crimsonbreaking Faction's base, still in stealth mode.
Heian Ciemnosc was in one of the Frigates' containment modules. He was inside a small bedroom, obscure, with a table in the middle where he sat before 2 men. They wore elegant suits and sat before Heian Ciemnosc in a slightly imposing demeanor. One had the Crimsonbreaking Faction emblem and the other of the Obscure Orb Sect. They put physical documents on the table and had already made some questions to Heian Ciemnosc. As they began, they stopped for a minute before resuming.
“How did the entrance to the Interconnecting Rupture Dimension occur on your side?” The Obscure Orb Sect asked. He was a Core Disciple, and at the later reams of the Third Step. On the other hand, the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s person was a Soldier in the Mythical realm.
“It was fast and was met just like everyone else,” Heian Ciemnosc said. The Core Disciple and Soldier nodded to each other. Heian Ciemnosc casually added, “I fell from the Dimension’s sky with a group of First Step cultivators and slowly made our way to the meeting point. Halfway there, I decided to move on my own to harvest resources and plant more detection devices. I asked those I brought there if they wanted to leave or stay. In the end, they chose to go with me.”
“...” The Soldier nodded suddenly, and they flipped through some documents that Heian Ciemnosc did not have the brainless guts to scan. The Core Disciple continued looking through them as the Soldier looked up at Heian Ciemnosc’s face to continue. All Heian Ciemnosc could discern was that these papers could only be read by one’s eyes at a mildly faster speed than civilians.
The interrogation continued for a quarter of an hour, with the Soldier asking many miscellaneous things to Heian Ciemnosc. Heian Ciemnosc answered them all truthfully, not needing to hide himself in any way. Whenever they asked about his cultivation, it was only time and which stage or progress.
“... Between the last months of the first year and after, what happened that pushed the ‘coalition force’ to the decision to rush their mission?” Finally, coming to a significant question, the Core Disciple formulated. Heian Ciemnosc looked a bit over their heads before elaborating, looking at their foreheads. “Between those months, I advised to shorten our waiting time to none because… my reading nature allowed me to glimpse into the Motherblood Expiritus’s situation.”
“Your nature reading?” The Core Disciple asked, his eyebrows sinking. The Soldier smiled a bit proudly. The Core Disciple asked, “Nature reading… What stage is it in? How far have you gone into it? What’s its range?”
“I… don’t think it is in any stage,” Heian Ciemnosc looked at the Core Disciple’s eyes directly and continued, “My nature reading is evolving with me, my cultivation base, and Soul cultivation. Ever since… I made my dark Soul. It had skyrocketed. I believe it reached the maximum my body can hold whenever I break through realms.”
“My point of view was supported by the other leading figures, and it was accorded that we’ll immediately move towards the swamp,” Heian Ciemnosc continued. By now, all details of the Interconnecting Rupture Dimension were known, and Heian Ciemnosc could take shortcuts to explain. “After the war ended in the enemy’s defeat, we trod through the swamp entrance and found the Motherblood Expiritus Tree already bloomed.”
“The Interchanging Dust Dynasty’s representative took the fruit, but he would later give it to my team leader if he was ambushed when returning. It would give us time to move away and escape if the situation was dire, but it wasn’t without fissures. Anyone with a brain would’ve thought of this, too.” Heian Ciemnosc went on. “Afterwards, we stayed there a little longer and let everyone cultivate for 10 to 15 minutes…”
Then, a series of miscellaneous questions resumed in the interrogation room. Heian Ciemnosc was bombarded for another half an hour before he was asked about the last moments in the Dimension before they took the portals to join the space battle.
“... When I moved to intercept Chosen Ezquivel, his protectors flew towards me, faster and capable of killing me in one blow. That’s when Beto, my team leader, bit his skin off and gashed open his veins…. He used a blood essence forbidden Art to strike the first protector to death in one go, and another, nearly exhausting himself, to trap the other.”
“That’s when the Motherblood Expiritus was crushed. I had used an Art that allowed me to move fast in a short period to attack Chosen Ezquivel, but it was too late when I did. Despite my successful attack, the young boy’s emotions made him move the Motherblood Expiritus away from my claws. But the Chosen also squeezed it until it became unrecognizable… Calamity started spreading throughout the Dimension since then.” Heian Ciemnosc’s voice was calm as he lowered and suddenly raised his head constantly.
“I tried bringing Beto with me, but with Yun Tang already back there and my team leader only having so little consciousness left, he used it to strike me with his head and send me into the portal…” Heian Ciemnosc began recounting the events from those days, from exiting the portal and dragging Beto’s Soul back to a proper burial. When they asked him about the space battle, Heian Ciemnosc conveyed what happened and his choices, a typical scenario he had already written for his commander to read and pass on to the upper echelons or higher.
“... Lastly,” the Soldier had already nodded at Heian Ciemnosc and crossed his left thigh with his right leg when the Obscure Orb Sect’s Core Disciple leaned over the table and asked Heian Ciemnosc one last time, “How well do you know how to pilot a Frigate?”
“...?” Heian Ciemnosc looked at the Core Disciple blankly, slowly tilting his head rightwards. In the end, since this was still his interrogation, he said, “I am still not a match for any other Frigate commander in the Crimsonbreaking Faction, but I should do regularly in any other organization’s armada.”
“Hahaha! Alright, then. This interrogation’s over. Thank you for your cooperation, young black monster. The Obscure Orb Sect will take a long time to read through your record during this tragedy. The Existence will have its answer soon enough,” the Core Disciple said before semi-rapidly standing up and walking to the door. He gave Heian Ciemnosc a smile and an encouraging nod before turning around the doorstep.
“Well then, it was a smooth interrogation. You can return to your old and new activities, young black monster.” The soldier stood up, bending his back a little, and said to Heian Ciemnosc. Heian Ciemnosc looked at him and became pensive momentarily, quickly speaking to the Soldier before he could also leave. “Senior apprentice-brother, that Core Disciple said something about records, but… Oh, is it possible he wasn’t just talking about the investigation?
“... Alright then, farewell,” the Soldier smiled greatly before turning around and bidding Heian Ciemnosc goodbye. Heian Ciemnosc was left in that chair, thinking about many things and possibilities to himself. One thing was the observation, which he knew was crucial to get to the bottom of these perpetrators. However… why were the Core Disciple’s words so curious? Hm…
. . .
A few hours later, Heian Ciemnosc was already back at the port in the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s Space Station. As the new Team Leader, he led the Fighters out of the Frigate to be checked, but the worshiping auxiliary units found them to be in perfect condition, resupplied, and a new Defensive Frigate coming with them. It was docked with Heian Ciemnosc’s Fighter Team.
While they were salivating in space over the tremendous change this Team received, the Team members and Team Leader in question were already in a vessel on their way to the incomplete Fleet’s headquarters. Inside there, everyone was waiting for the lucky fellas who fought in the battle.
“Come over here, haha! And what did you do, eh?” - “Ah- no, haha… I’m just an auxiliary unit. I could only help repair a few Fighters quickly before they returned to battle, y’know?” - “That’s already more than most of us did!” - “Yup, so many of us sent there, yet we all heard about the battle but couldn’t do a thing. Sigh, when Chairwoman led the Carrie and some Supreme Battleships, we were torn apart.” - “Hurrah for these lucky bastards!!” - “Hurrah!”
“...” When Heian Ciemnosc’s Team arrived at the headquarters, it was bustling. They were recognized quickly, but not many came close to them other than suitors asking Cara for dates, refused by the already taken fancy lady. Or others who had once shared Moy or Ruo Wei’s pain, the whole Team’s. They weren’t interrupted, and Heian Ciemnosc was finally given glances different from what he had experienced before. Things had changed, alright.

When Heian Ciemnosc was a few tens of meters from their Team’s base, a large portion of the crowd, not all crew members were here since it was time for celebration and were out, shouted at Heian Ciemnosc so loud he almost fell from losing balance. “Congratulations, welcome!! Team Leader Heian Ciemnosc, Team Leader… young black monster!!!”
“...!” Heian Ciemnosc didn’t know how to react, but just as he doubted, his right shoulder was caressed by Ruo Wei. Heian Ciemnosc turned to look at her, lower and tilting his head. She looked up at him, spirited and vibrant, causing him to turn around and observe the crew members. After his darkest eyes darted around, he lightly clasped his hands and bowed.
“...” The rest lifted their cups, plates with delicious food on them, squeezed the boob they were grabbing, or pulled the family’s heavenly jewels. It was all about symbolism, nothing else.
Afterwards, Heian Ciemnosc entered the base with his Team, being the first to step in as the Team Leader… And as this Team’s Team Leader for the first time. When Heian Ciemnosc went inside, he felt the place was a little cold and empty, like a humid jungle, going from heat to warm coldness. It reminded Heian Ciemnosc somewhat of himself. His body was still ultimately cold, and he wondered how he could react if he found ghosts again. But also if he could evolve his seemingly… ‘incomplete’ body.
“Come on, I want to rest already, yaawn…” Ruo Wei exclaimed, stretching her arms as her bones cracked everywhere. She wasn’t in the best mental state possible, but she knew her man was… ‘safe’ for now. It was difficult, still, but she was a big girlie, the sweetest of ladies. Heian Ciemnosc watched as Ruo Wei scratched her armpits and entered her and Beto’s bedroom, undoubtedly about to drop in bed to smell the last of him.
“Sigh, I’ll start arranging changes to my bedroom,” Clanton walked forth and brought his women inside. Heian Ciemnosc jolted his neck and head and said, “We aren’t that far from obtaining an Offensive Frigate. We can take care of this cottage. I’ll start making plans.”
“Thanks,” Moy said before he was dragged away by Sandra, who smiled at Heian Ciemnosc in gratitude. Loma squeezed the middle of Heian Ciemnosc’s reverse hand before walking to her bedroom. Suddenly, Cara hugged him from behind, her hands forming a lock below his ribcage. Her voice sounded on his back after yawning, “Try to get some rest, alright? As lonely people in the Team, we have to support each other and talk shit about feeling disastrous for not being close to our-”
“Milyy should be aware of my presence here already,” Heian Ciemnosc grinned and said. Cara stopped, and he could feel her eyelashes opening wide against the fabric of his clothes on his back. Cara bemoaned sadly before slumping towards her bedroom. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t bother with her. She would come to learn about sexting soon enough.
Step… knock, knock…!
“?” Just as Heian Ciemnosc was about to step towards his lonely bedroom, of which his Spirit Sense already told him reeked of Milyy everywhere, even the walls and ceiling, that playful, naughty kitten. The gate at their Team’s base’s entrance was knocked on, and Heian Ciemnosc stopped.
“Who?” Heian Ciemnosc said before opening the door to their residence and then the gate at the perimeter. A young, tall man with a square face looked at Heian Ciemnosc and scrutinized his face with his own eyes before delivering the news. “Young black monster, the Chairwoman has personally asked you to report to the Carrier’s central command. Move on as quickly as possible!”
“Good evening,” the messenger said before turning sideways and walking away. Meanwhile, the crowd outside overheard, and their responses came to light rapidly. “Woah, so… it’s like… that, huh?” - “You know how it is. It isn’t just us. Even the Interchanging Dust Dynasty and Obscure Orb Sect showed interest in our Auxiliary Soldier here.” - “Eh? That much? But I didn’t see any coming from the Obscure Orb Sect. I’ve only heard what the others know, especially thanked by the almighty Celestial of the Dynasty.” - “Sheep!” - “...”
“I will, thank you,” Heian Ciemnosc reacted casually. But deep inside, he felt like the crowd’s response was… completely nothing like he imagined it would. He is now a Team Leader, but that didn’t mean everyone here would start treating him like their daddy. Heian Ciemnosc was content, though.
“Aye,” the messenger nudged, already 50 meters away, and continued walking with a simple call. Heian Ciemnosc turned to the interiors of the residence building, the only one in his Team’ base, and sent them all a notice of his departure and reason before stepping out and closing the door. Finally, he turned around and looked at the outside world of the Space Station.
It felt like he was looking at everything through a different glass. It was the same color, transparency, and field of vision, but it felt different in his eyes. He walked down the entrance stairs and a few hundred meters towards the gates to exit his Team’s base’s perimeter. He wasn’t watched all the way, but he received constant glances from the others as he headed towards one of the headquarter’s gates.
Crrgh, crrgh, crrggh…
Heian Ciemnosc exited the headquarters and requested a rapid transporting vehicle. As a Team Leader, he had to get to places quickly. More of a right than an obligation since he could use this service for free whenever he wanted. It was all about one’s status. However, he still had many limitations. He was also still an Auxiliary Soldier.
The one to arrive was an aerial vehicle. It had 3 seats, one for the pilot and 2 for possible clients. Heian Ciemnosc was the only client, and it was colored black. So far, he would rate the service with 5 stars without a doubt. It rapidly moved towards the Carrier’s port while watching the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s beloved Mothership being completed.
… In under 15 minutes, Heian Ciemnosc arrived at the port, where he was greeted by a few Soldiers he recognized from when he started learning how to pilot spaceships. He was met with smiles, but they were only teasing. They were not favorable or sarcastic. He was led into the Carrier held by 2 cuties’ arms as if he were both a prisoner and a top-notch VIP guest.
Step, step, step, step, step… vroooooooom~...
After entering the Carrier, Heian Ciemnosc was helped into a transporting vehicle, just like the ones Alyona used to bring him in his first days, knowing the true face of the world. Reminiscing over the not-so-long past, Heian Ciemnosc didn’t feel the passing of time as his guides were silent. The transporting vehicle was stopped upon arriving at the central command’s entrance, and Heian Ciemnosc was dropped off before it sped in the distance.
“...” Heian Ciemnosc looked at the open gates and felt pensive again. He felt it. Something in the air, perhaps… The atmosphere seemed different, and he felt as if somewhere, between everything that exists and there is, he was standing on a sort of string stabilizing with everything else. There was an infinitude of these… and they were all unmistakably looking at the same prize in the middle.
“...Young black monster?”
Heian Ciemnosc was awakened by a female voice. His seemingly lifted chin slowly descended after Heian Ciemnosc sobered up, and he saw an Officer in stylish Earth grade, comfortable uniform with a skirt, speak to him, wearing a little dull-crimson hat atop her head. When he looked at her, she reacted. “Over here, please. The Chairwoman and company are waiting for you inside.”
Step, step… The Officer smiled lightly at Heian Ciemnosc, somewhat flirtatiously, before turning around and leading the way. Heian Ciemnosc looked at those purposely swinging hips and started doubting a special someone but still followed after the Officer.
After entering the Carrier’s central command, Heian Ciemnosc recognized the familiar module just as he had when he regularly visited the place a couple decades ago. In the center, before the farther panels, where nobody worked except for a few experts working on the daily checking of the Carrier, 3 mightily beautiful heavenly universe-destroyers stood with their backs against him.
“Chairwoman, Disciplinary Elder, Big Sister Milyy, I’ve brought sir young black monster to you.” The Officer hurriedly took 3 steps and bowed halfway through her waist level to report before turning around to sit before a nearby panel. Heian Ciemnosc looked surprised as she didn’t recognize most people around them. They had to be recently promoted, male and female, from all Races. Not many, still. It seemed like the Chairwoman was planning on having some privacy with trustable eyes and tongues.
“...” Alyona was the first to turn around, as the 3 were facing the Mothership. Her black-coffee eyes met Heian Ciemnosc, making him feel like he was in her hands already. Before he could react, Alyona’s figure disappeared from the spot and appeared right before him. The tips of her shoes against his.
Soft- rustlee~. Because of Alyona’s bosom, Heian Ciemnosc was nearly pushed backwards, but he only leaned 3 centimeters backwards before stopping. Meanwhile, Alyona was accommodating his collar and dusting his dark coat off. Her black-coffee eyes were only so-so slightly narrowed, caressing his clothes to make him look more handsome and presentable. Her body shrunk a little as she projected her shoulders forth, and her eyes darted around his collar, arranging it neatly.
Tap, pat- ruffle♡.
Alyona patted his shoulders before caressing his pitchest-blackest hair, grown to a short-long length, with her eyes stuck on it as she bit her lower lip. Finally, her tantalizingly enthralling voice reached Heian Ciemnosc’s ears as she spoke to his face while her feet tiptoed and her mouth just at the tip of his nose. “There, all ready.”
“Ready… ready for what?” Heian Ciemnosc asked as the other 2 walked towards them. Milyy’s eyes glowed intensely while the always sweet Hong Mei looked at him with squinted, loving eyes and smiled sweetly at his pervertedly handsome ‘baby’ face. Heian Ciemnosc had nothing of a baby, but in her eyes, he was still that vulnerable child they found somewhere in space.
Things have changed, and… He was now their man. Hong Mei actually managed to make Alyona share this fine piece of husband material, trained him well, and now were creating a monster out of him together. They couldn’t be any more proud!
“Heeheenng~!” Milyy walked over to his right side and crossed her arms before resting her chin on them atop his right shoulder. Hong Mei leaned her head on his left ear, showering him in all tenderness. Meanwhile, Alyona pushed forth, her utmost gigantic breast flattening against his strong chest. She cupped his face with her hands, gently holding him, and said. “For rumors to grow, of course.”
