Chapter 389 — Faithful To One's Wives!

Faithful To One's Wives!

"Student Heian Ciemnosc, it is nice to finally meet the kid that the Academy's Headmaster went to the Heraxle Clan to calm those dogs down. I'd like to congratulate you and thank you for everything you've done and accomplished for the Wrath Nihility Academy." The Vice headmaster smiled beautifully and added, "With how times are changing, and now more than ever, you might have a lot of things to do in the future. Cultivate well and prepare, Heian Ciemnosc. You have barely seen the world even now."

“Mn, I understand, Vice headmaster,” Heian Ciemnosc said as he nodded. The Vice headmaster nodded back, and then at Teacher Conde, the latter presented Heian Ciemnosc a polite smile and placed his right shoulder on Heian Ciemnosc’s left. “I have no idea what you may become in the future, but we’ll have you know we expect success at the very least. If you ever want to accompany Elena, come train whenever you have time. It’s been nice having you come to my residence before the war. It hasn’t changed.”

“...” Heian Ciemnosc nodded and said no more. The Headmaster chatted with the 3 for a bit before bringing Heian Ciemnosc around to meet other upper echelons of the Wrath Nihility Academy. He didn’t know, but most of these people discussed about him even before the war occurred, let alone now that his capabilities were finally in the light. Afterwards, the headmaster walked Heian Ciemnosc back to the table where the former sat at its extreme and the latter at the corner of the side with Milyy on his right.

“Everyone,” half an hour went by with Heian Ciemnosc catching up to the current Elena and playing with Milyy, who couldn’t get calm as the Headmaster, sitting down, announced. “It’s been several months since the Academy’s hidden enemy forces were destroyed. Our students and teachers fought, died, and killed for a period of time, bloodier than ever thought it would have been.”

“Many fell, of which they either had such potential it would make anyone here grit their teeth in jealousy or as common and ordinary as a wooden stick in the forest.” The Headmaster saw everyone sit down slowly as they looked at him respectfully. “But every single one of them didn’t let their fear, cowardice, or prejudice get in between. They moved and fought with difficulty over the terrain they believed was theirs, to begin with, but didn’t understand how far apart from our territory these Cities and cities were.”

“I hope this insight can help the current generation to improve these features further. It is not the first time it has happened… but it may not be the last. The enemy has rested, but their unrest is simply asleep. Many First Step organizations have known ignorance in other ways possible. The Academy isn’t a kindergarten for anyone to be protected by it. Every decade, a strong First Step organization falls under the struggle to survive.”

“Any Second Step organization trying to rise has better chances and a more dedicated lifespan than the former… But as soon as they try taking in vassals, all they do is fall in a matter of months for what cost them hundreds of years to attempt to gain.” The Headmaster looked at Heian Ciemnosc at the end of these words. But it was a passing glance before continuing and looking around everywhere. “It is but the simplest of rules within our Second Step Kingdom. For Archeons, it has been stagnant in this way. There’s nothing that can change it now. All we can do to help is improve our territory’s infrastructure and treat them better.”

“Now, allow me to begin the military ceremony! Awarding all the leading figures in our armies from the First Step to the Second Step. They have created awe-inspiring achievements in the war and will be rewarded equally!” The Headmaster commanded, saying no more and causing navy blue flags to fall from the ceiling, decorating everyone’s retinas. Several tall people came out of their hiding by concealment array formations.

They seemed to be around here in order to protect, and Heian Ciemnosc felt their energy fluctuations to be slightly inferior to the current Teacher Puru’s cultivation base. He watched as they formed an extensive line spanning the backstage, fully visible to the cameras and people below, now atop some platforms, recording and enjoying the ceremony’s procedures. Those hidden Academy experts were covered by a layer of something similar to pure energy, like a mask but not as armor. It was simply aesthetic.

“Huang Yun! Second Step commander!” - “... Yara! Second Step, second-in-command!” - “... Niloh! Second Step sub-commander!” - “Borba! First Step commander…”

These Academy experts began shouting several names, covering a variety of Second Step leading figures and some of the First Step ones. Afterwards, their lines were reached by another 3 batches of First Step leading figures, one of them being Elena, Clarke, and Yon from the Saberbone Diabolical Club and Cari from Heian Ciemnosc’s army. Heian Ciemnosc waited for him to be named, just as other elite students were being called. Although they were Leading Students and not just Students like him.

However, he didn’t expect that…

“Heian Ciemnosc! First Step, elite Student, commander!”

‘... huh?’ Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes were wide open, and he immediately thought of many things as he stood up and walked to the Academy expert who called him. He looked at Cari, now seated on the table, and saw his helpless look. Heian Ciemnosc thought of something but didn’t delve into it. He quickly arrived before the Academy expert and presented his neck. The Academy expert looked at Heian Ciemnosc with analysis before slightly nodding several times.

Clatter, clatter.

“Student Heian Ciemnosc, as the major contributor to the war effort in the First Step section, you were appointed as an immediate commander in the death of your ex-commander, Lionel! You brought as many benefits to the Academy as terror in its enemies. Wherever you went, the words ‘Concealed Ornament Team’ resounded in everyone’s hearts, even the Kingdom’s! This can be further attested by the Headmaster and others.”

“You were conferred the honor to become all First Step student troops’ temporary Commander, but you never assumed the charge directly. Nevertheless, with your participation in the last battle against the enemy, assisting the person with major contribution in the Second Step, respected Teacher Puru. You’ve achieved what hasn’t been seen in many Eons. Congratulations!!”

‘That much? Damn, why did Cari not try harder to tell me something?!’ Heian Ciemnosc’s expression, heart, and locked Soul were calm. However, he was thundering with wonderment and shock inside his little head! Heian Ciemnosc received the celebratory collar and an… insignia. It had a little book and a couple feathers forming a cross in the lower middle. After he inspected it, it flashed and moved towards his coat’s Wrath Nihility Emblem before appearing in every other clothes he had.

Heian Ciemnosc was stunned, amazed too, but he saw the Academy expert nod. So he bowed before stepping back and turning around to return. However, he saw half a dozen figures sitting around the Headmaster in his seat and around his chair, which they moved to position beside the Headmaster’s. The extreme where the Headmaster was seated had 5 chairs before it, with Heian Ciemnosc and the Headmaster surrounded by the other 3.

Screech- tap. Heian Ciemnosc frowned but didn’t think much of that. When he arrived before his moved seat and walked behind it, he sensed the enormous energy fluctuations of the man seated slightly behind his and the Headmaster’s chairs. Of course, this man was only the most powerful among the Wrath Nihility Academy currently. But Milyy wasn’t part of the Academy.

As soon as he arrived, Milyy, who hadn’t paid any attention to this half a dozen people, stood up in a flash and screeched her chair to sit beside Heian Ciemnosc’s, directly connected so their legs would touch. Already seated and looking up at Heian Ciemnosc, who hadn’t taken his seat, she smiled and narrowed her eyes, the cameras far away flashing with relish as they captured this monumentally essential frame.

After being slightly startled, Heian Ciemnosc shook his head and sat down, his right hand holding Milyy’s left hand as she became docile and quiet as a kitten. These successive events didn’t cause a commotion. But the netizens around the Universal Conveyance began doing their job to escalate things and make them worse. After glancing at her, noticing the hidden mirth in her eyes as she lowered her head and looked at her knees and exposed shins, he faced the Headmaster.

“!” - “Hello! You must be the talk of the town, huh? Haha!” However, as soon as he turned his face, Heian Ciemnosc saw the powerful man from the Heraxle Clan instead of the Headmaster’s tall chest. Looking further up, Heian Ciemnosc noticed the Headmaster’s eyes looking down at him helplessly. What was to say? Heian Ciemnosc felt comical.

“This sir is?” Heian Ciemnosc asked tentatively. He didn’t emphasize his words and sounded casual, but that didn’t matter to the person. With an enthusiastic demeanor and tone, he loudly spoke to Heian Ciemnosc’s face. “Name’s Yok Kasav. I’m the Heraxle Clan envoy. That is the Existential Sixth Step organization ruling everything in this Universal Land. You did know this, right?”

“I do know, I’ve known for a long time now,” Heian Ciemnosc calmly said. He looked at the envoy without feeling pressure, eliciting some surprise from the envoy as he slightly raised his eyebrows and nodded. He then said as he looked at Milyy with side eyes, “And who is this girl?”

“Let’s see, she has no Wrath Nihility Academy’s emblem on her pretty dress, nor does she seem to wear those uniforms. There’s no aura of them around her body. She also doesn’t appear in your Academy’s records. So, where does she come from? Why has the Heracles Clan not known of her all along?” The envoy alternated his eyes between Heian Ciemnosc, Milyy, which attracted Heian Ciemnosc’s mind, and the Headmaster. But the latter only looked down without saying anything and made a facial expression saying, ‘you really dare ask’?

On the other hand, Milyy remained calm and said nothing, not even changing her attitude of being coy and drunk in mellowness even as she felt the envoy’s prying eyes on her. Of course, the envoy didn’t dare send his Spirit Sene lest the special guest here was waiting for such a thing to happen to cause trouble. Milyy simply let Heian Ciemnosc hold her hand and did nothing she did not ask him to do.

When he turned his head to face her as the envoy directly spoke to the Headmaster, she looked at him with upturned eyes from the corner. She smiled in delight. She had done well! Not causing trouble! As long as her ‘Senior’ Apprentice Brother led the charge, everything would be fine!

“Sir, may I know why you are here? Is the Heraxle Clan interested in me?” Without going around the bush, nor wanting more pleasantries exchange, Heian Ciemnosc went to the grain and spoke to the envoy. The envoy returned to face Heian Ciemnosc head-on and nodded after looking at the latter for a few seconds. “That’s right, Heian Ciemnosc. Your potential and incredible future can only be said to be astounding. You may have become a Genius in this Academy. But our Heraxle Clan can give you the key to the doors to becoming a Gifted or even a Chosen. What do you say?”

“I don’t-” Heian Ciemnosc spoke calmly again. But the envoy’s eyes narrowed, and he interrupted him as if he didn’t want to wait anymore. “The Heraxle Clan promises to grant you enough resources to become a peak Second Step with just the level of Genius you’ve shown to the world. It can still increase after we examine your combat capabilities and logistics. And the resources will increase after you are entitled as a Gifted to the peak of the Third Step.”

“If you become a Chosen, you’ll be assured to become in less than a million years under the Heraxle Clan. Wives and concubines will flock towards you. Every daughter and niece of the Heraxle Clan, as many as you ask for, will become yours to do as you please. But you may only take them and not think about trading them for benefits, or the Heraxle Clan will hunt you down.”

“Any enemies you have will be accordingly dealt with by the Heraxle, even if it is another Existential Sixth Step organization you have a deadly feud with. We won’t hesitate to make things easier to at least let you become stronger through severe difficulties. If you want to seize more beauties and create a vassal force as a subsidiary Clan to the Heraxle Clan. We will help you with your harem, not taking any say in your organization.”

“The Wrath Nihility Academy will be aided. Its influence can be spread through the Universal Land. In the future, it will be the entire Universal Lands once we’ve occupied it. This can only happen with the help of grown-up Generals such as yourself. We won’t mistreat you. And in the future, if you can show potential equal to a highest favored title, you will be given marriage to any other favored title daughter that may be born in the future.”

“... … … … … … … …” This was poaching. At its utmost and the most blatant form. It was so much that it made the entire main hall silent, where one’s silent breathing could be heard, and the blinking eyes of those nearby were like a clock’s ticking arms. Everyone was soddened with the feeling of ridicule. The Headmaster evidently wanted to speak up and say something, but he waited for Heian Ciemnosc’s response.

Heian Ciemnosc’s face became somewhat sharp but still relaxed. He looked at the envoy as he relaxed his back on the back of the chair. Milyy was still on her own, keeping quiet and acting all meekly. With his head lowering momentarily, Heian Ciemnosc quickly faced the envoy again and said with a wry smile. “Sir, since I was born in this Universal Land, I can only help the Heraxle Clan in the future to gain territory and glory. Why ask me so many things like this?”

The envoy seemed about to speak as he slowly opened his mouth. But Heian Ciemnosc continued without losing decorum or sounding offensive, but also nothing like boot-licking. “I am starting my path. I’d also like to continue it at the Wrath Nihility Academy for as long as I can until graduation. Other than that, I also have my wives, whom I will help after graduating and leaving the Academy. After that, I’m sure there won’t be a problem for me to start working for the Heraxle Clan.”

“Mnn, that sounds good.” The envoy seemed calm now and gladdened with Heian Ciemnosc’s words. But then, he added inquisitively. “Who are these wives you speak of that they entice you more than the daughters and nieces of the Heraxle Clan??”

“Sir, they are my wives. Hence, another man shouldn’t care about it anymore.”

“!!” The crowd felt their eyes popping out as their mouths morphed into the lips of fish gasping for air. Heian Ciemnosc’s words left the envoy speechless and paused-in-time that the Headmaster’s flashing grin wasn’t noticed. Before the situation became too awkward, the Headmaster coughed and lightened the mood with some words. “Hoohoohooh! Well, the Academy just knows how to tame them, ey?! Now, let’s continue with the feast! All boring celebrations are over. It’s time to fill one’s belly and return to bed full of energy! Hohohoho…”

“...” - “...” Heian Ciemnosc smiled wryly and drank from a cup filled with top-notch liquor for a First Step as Milyy slightly blushed. Elena looked at the two of them and fell pensive. A sense of urgency swelled inside her heart, and she finally chose. Her eyes were determined when Heian Ciemnosc noticed something and looked at her. His eyes hadn’t changed one bit. Nor had hers.

… The feast began, and the war’s heroes filled their bellies as per orders from the respected and honorable Headmaster. Even though the Headmaster was tall and a Beast, he barely ate anything. He spent most of his time drinking and watching everyone else enjoy their food and time in the press conference as cameras and interviewers walked around the table to ask the heroes many questions. There was a barrier isolating Heian Ciemnosc, his Concealed Ornament Team, and the Headmaster.

During the feast, Heian Ciemnosc was told by the Headmaster about a little, important meeting that all commanders and second-in-commands must attend. Thus, as the diner was nearing its end, he informed his team members about it first before walking to Elena and Milyy, who were already finished being interviewed with millions of questions by heart-eyed men and women from every corner of the world, including other Universal Land.

Step, step, step, step.

“Hey girls,” Heian Ciemnosc voiced, still 20 meters behind them. They turned around and looked at him. Milyy cutely smiled at once and swayed in a silly demeanor towards him. Elena’s brown eyes glinted as she walked over. Both had their own characteristics, but they also had quite the relationship with the same boy. “I’m going somewhere to have a meeting. It is for second-in-commands and commanders only, so Elena wasn’t notified.”

“Are you bragging against me?” Elena’s right eyebrow rose as she asked with a threatening tone. Heian Ciemnosc looked at her directly and grinned, making her cheeks slightly blush in delight. It was her weakness. Whenever those eyes were all for her… how could she continue fighting him? Sigh, time does change things. Heian Ciemnosc spoke to Milyy before stepping towards Elena. “It seems to be something really critical. I will first walk Milyy back to Master’s abode, then…”

Heian Ciemnosc softly embraced Elena’s waist. It was no longer the type of touch similar to a friendly hug or an occasional but meaningless skinship. He was going straight for an intimate moment. Elena didn’t stop him. And she even ‘activated’ her back and spine so he would feel even more intimate embracing her. Feeling his fingertips at her abdomen’s sides and his hands sliding through her ribs, back, and until forming a lock, right above her nonexistent but firm buttocks, she gasped . But felt her body instinctively protruding forwards to feel his body.

With his head moving beside her to her right, her ear went from pale to crimson, and her semi-long hair length did nothing to hide it, not to his eyes. His stimulating, hoarse voice invaded her senses. “Then, as the morning comes, I will deliver your husband to you. Let’s meet in your Student’s personal apartment, alright?”

“Will you?” Elena asked 2 seconds later when she felt she was sufficiently brave enough to ask, her throat continued gulping as she heard his response. “Oh yes, he’s magnificent. He’ll help you a lot on your road to becoming the next Headmaster. Even if that old Headmaster doesn’t want to leave his seat. You’ll be able to take it from him. He’ll do whatever you want him to.”

“Alright then,” Elena said without emotion. But her body still trembled and felt warm despite the cold and freshness of his body skin through clothing. She deeply breathed in a couple times before saying, as she pushed her body away from his. “Wel then. Tell my new husband I’ll be waiting for him. Thank you, Heian Ciemnosc, you’re truthful to your word.”

Step, step, step, step.

“... What was that about?” Milyy and Heian Ciemnosc looked at Elena’s back as she departed when Milyy turned her head to look at him. Heian Ciemnosc grinned and flicked his nose before walking to where the Headmaster and those dozen figures had come from. As they walked, he said as his left palm was placed on her upper back. “Those are things only adults can understand. Don’t ask about such things until you grow up, alright?”

“Grywaaah!” Milyy bared her feline teeth and claws at him, threatening him with a ferocious expression, wrinkling her nose and glabella. She looked adamantly cute and adorable. “Don’t try calling me little! I know what it means to be an adult! To become a woman! Just you wait. I’ll get you thinking about me day and night for eternity when I’m done with you!”

Although Milyy’s words were indeed scary, especially since Heian Ciemnosc still remembered the scent of death from her claws, she acted with terrible cuteness that he couldn’t help but instinctively pull her closer to him. His head leaning on top of hers, she became stiff as a doll before softening like a warm and cozy kitten resting on a mat.
