Chapter 492 — Far East Region's Topography

Chapter 492 — Far East Region's Topography

Far East Region's Topography

"Sigh!" The Headmaster stopped his words and sighed. It was pretty loud, but he exposed all his mixed feelings. After staring at the ceiling for a long while, the Headmaster lowered his eyes and set them on Heian Ciemnosc's shoulders. Then, he continued telling the history between their two organizations. "Millions of years after, when our Progenitor, our First Headmaster, perished with a content smile, our contemporary Headmaster unleashed a dispute between our organizations."

“This dispute has not been resolved even until today, and that is because we won,” the Headmaster gave everyone a dull face, expressing his thoughts on the matter. Heian Ciemnosc’s eyebrows slowly jumped up as he tilted his head to the left, keeping his hands before his pelvis together, as the Headmaster continued yet again. “We had divided the Blackotia Kingdom in a 30-70 ratio, with the Azure Dragon’s descendants keeping most of what belonged to them for who knew how long.”

“But our dispute started with the erroneous distribution of some fruits. They belonged to the Floreal Agonizing Mist Tree’s forest.” The Headmaster’s words elicited tremendous gasps, exclamations, and disbelieving, surprised noises. Rosfalto nodded and sternly gestured for everyone to calm down. As they gradually kept their silence, he continued. “There was indeed a forest filled with these trees between our Academy and the sea.”

“However, when our Headmaster wanted more and grabbed more than he should’ve, as the Azure Dragon had turned a blind eye since they had millions of these fruits in their storage, and the Wrath Nihility Academy came like an ally and not an invasive force to devour anything on its surroundings. Still, our Academy sinned and thoroughly humiliated the Azure Dragon’s descendants at that time. They were repugnant of our actions, as they should.”

“A battle broke out between our guards at the borders. They weren’t weak, and some upper echelons from both sides were there… Everything broke loose in less than half an hour, and both organizations had no time to stop the incoming war. When the respective organizations’ leaders arrived, both sides had already drawn their lines, and more than half were fighting their battles. There was no going back…”

The Headmaster’s face turned poignant, taking 3 breaths before he managed to continue with his speech. “That was just the beginning, and more than a couple hundred Headmasters later, we were finally drawing a peace. However, the damage was far too much. The Azure Dragon’s descendants held the advantage at the beginning. But the Academy had their Progenitor’s teachings and inheritance.”

“After several Eras facing defeat, and our 4th generation Headmaster falling to his depression, our Academy was led by one of the most fantastic Headmasters in our history.” At last, the Headmaster seemed to show pride and admiration in his wide, growing older eyes. “Under his banner, the Academy took the defensive and started preparing for the future generations of Headmasters. Everyone thought he was simply preparing before launching an all-out attack. But in truth, he was planning the Academy’s victory against the most fearsome enemy we have found ourselves against in our entire history, at the same level.”

“When he perished of old age, the Academy was left with uncertainty, and it doubted the legacy that our 5th Headmaster left. But time proved what being a leader meant. With his example to follow and his orders way before his dying words, obeyed by the following several Headmasters, his will lived through each generation… Until the Azure Dragon’s descendants gave birth to a leader of their own, which amassed the entire Kingdom population under their name against ours.”

“While our 5th Headmaster had ended up creating the foundations of our Academy’s training-battle practices, the Azure Dragon’s descendants became warlords. This is a title not seen since the time that the Lords still inhabited our world. This was approved by nature and had nothing to do with the Existential Sixth Step organizations at the time.” The Headmaster was really incensed as he arrived at this point.

“Their tactics, resolve, determination, strategy, and all of their offensive or defensive measures were impregnable, unbreakable, and unstoppable!” The Headmaster was excitedly shouting, definitely aware he was doing so but not caring one bit. The others looked at him, from Supervisors to the Vice headmaster, but their eyes contained admiration, too. “But… everything has to go through change every now and then…”

“Despite the Azure Dragon’s descendants’ numbers and mighty evolution through war, they dwindled, and their family became tired of endlessly fighting for so long. Needless to say, their part of the Kingdom was even more exhausted. In the end, some turned their backs on them. But our Academy wasn’t as strong nor as influential as them. While the Azure Dragon’s descendant’s side wanted relief and to live in peace, ours had trouble keeping our Academy together.”

“The war became inevitably slow. But, gradually, the Azure Dragon’s territory shrunk until it held 30% of the Blackotia Kingdom. Many Eras, after the war reached this point, the contemporary Headmaster signed a peace treaty with the Azure Dragon’s descendants and the rest of the Kingdom. It would be a catastrophic change for the latter.” The Headmaster became rather sad as he got to this point.

Our Academy will have a small portion of the Kingdom, keeping the largest, one and only 3* Region to ourselves, while the rest of the world gained nearly everything else, leaving the Azure Dragon’s descendants with only a memory. Their territory no longer existed, and they were reduced to a single individual territory as everything they owned.” It seemed impossible, but the Headmaster’s voice turned even sadder.

“They live in this place,” the Headmaster pointed at the digital screen, showing a place, showing several Cities surrounding a Small City in the middle, like isles to a continent. This Small City ‘continent’ had a tremendously tall tower at the side, seemingly overlooking everything. A few naval ships sailed around, but they were too small and barely equipped with any weaponry or armor even. They looked relatively weak, and that’s when the Headmaster’s words poured cold water over everybody’s shoulders, reminding them of this place.

“This is their little land, and even though they are ‘owners’ of the whole Far East Region in-name, they had tried regaining some territory in-land through history but always failed. The neighboring organizations near the shore they were close to would ally with any organization, even from faraway Regions. They had been peaceful for over 2 Ages, and their current situation isn’t 100% known.”

“Once upon a time, the Floreal Agonizing Mist Tree forest was the Kingdom’s richest source of income, but it only aided the Azure Dragon’s descendants back then. However, nowadays, it has been known how useful this item is to any cultivator, especially in the last three Steps. They have long gone extinct, along with many other flora or Fauna that followed the disappearance of the Lords.” The Headmaster’s words became determined again and confident.

“In the middle of our war against them, we destroyed that beautiful place, one-in-an-all that exists. And while our organizations were falling apart and into decadence, we still fought with renewed verve, furious for such stupidity, blaming it on the other. Their loss was our victory but also our loss of an ally that could’ve become our brother or sister organization. That was a mistake of our past, but now…” The Headmaster paused there. He looked at Heian Ciemnosc, and the latter looked directly at the former, awaiting any instructions.

“... They had asked for our help!” The Headmaster pressed on the remote control again, and a larger screen popped in the opposite of the first, smaller one. It showed the Wrath Nihility Academy in the Blackotia Kingdom, only that it wasn’t expanding, smaller, and without any students patrolling the entirety of the Kingdom. Heian Ciemnosc’s mind clicked, ‘The time before the Blackotia Kingdom entered its megannum battle!’

“When Enec’s forces exploded within the Blackotia Kingdom, he selected everything he could, bending every organization that didn’t join them.” The large screen showed the passing of time as green colors, balls, and dots sprouted everywhere as blue colors slowly spread from the Academy’s individual territory. The Headmaster continued, his tone was grave. “Many of our fellow organizations were felled before the overlord war to decide whether or not we could become an overlord organization.”

“The Azure Dragon’s descendants, who had formed the Blauw Empire, had now asked for our help. They were the few who dared not join the enemy’s side, not even when the overlord war began. Now that we have established our rule over the Kingdom and our expansion smooth and solid beyond our expectations, the Academy has decided to rekindle our old flame with this old organization. We… have resolved to help it soar again. If they wish to, they can choose another Kingdom or Godly Spatial Station to stay in the future.”

“Naturally, such a time will arrive much later on. Even though the Blauw Empire is this weak, they are still considered a Second Step organization, overly suppressing any other weak, First Step organization, and there is no Second Step organization in the immediate Regions around the Far East Region. Heian Ciemnosc!” The Headmaster unexpectedly shouted and stopped, startling the pensive people in the main hall.

“Yes, Headmaster?” Heian Ciemnosc responded calmly, his hands behind his back and his back straight. Headmaster Rosfalto wore a serious expression, and even his big eyes were slightly closed. “Your mission to supervise the Blauw Empire is to ensure they can rise back to glory. This assigned mission to you is expected to take at least 10 years before you receive a takeover notice. You can recommend the next person to take your place in supervising the Blauw Empire. But, before that, you have to diligently do your work. Are you up for the task?!”

‘No teacher is allowed to refuse an assignation, let alone a Leading Student, Headmaster. I understand, but…’ Heian Ciemnosc remained calm despite thousands of eyes placed on his being. Just as he was thinking about how to refuse, he received a silent notification from his Universal Conveyance. When he realized it was from someone, he entered his Universal Conveyance with Spirit Sense to the awe of the higher-ups and upper echelons.

“... Yes, I am ready.” Heian Ciemnosc lifted his face after his darkest eyes dulled, seemingly focused on something else. A tiny grin flashed on his pale red lips before placing his hands before his pelvis again and declaring with a soft, quiet voice. The Headmaster ignored all his antics and smiled when he finally accepted. “You may have the Wrath Nihility Academy’s word and permission to act on its name, as every action of yours is us, the Academy.”

“I will gladly accept that,” Heian Ciemnosc responded as he should, and the Headmaster continued. “In case your mission goes excellently well, you may finish your assignation early on and can decide whether the Blauw Empire, the Azure Dragon’s descendants, require another supervisor. Should it be that it does not, the Academy will provide an ambassador to help them deal with matters they cannot currently withhold. That’s in case you’d like to leave. The minimum time for deciding those matters will be 4 years.”

“I understand,” Heian Ciemnosc answered positively. The Headmaster, speaking these terms without looking anywhere and smoothly, paused to nod at his consent. The Headmaster, thus, continued. “You will hold complete authority over the Blauw Empire. Heian Ciemnosc, you must remember all the concerns and tests that a supervision task means to the Academy. We need not speak of your achievements. You are eligible for this mission — whether you think it’s right or not.”

“I do not have complaints, Headmaster,” Heian Ciemnosc lightly declared, but his voice reached every corner in the main hall. Seeing this kid’s cultivation base, the higher-ups and upper echelons all nodded, satisfied with his performance. The Headmaster lightly nodded again before continuing, “Despite your authority in the Far East Region, you will have no such thing in the Academy. You are still a Leading Student, but one that has shown, time and again, what he is worth.”

“Any request, be it material or personnel, will be first evaluated by your descriptions and through the Academy’s Grand Array Formation’s surveillance before you receive an answer. Expect between 3 to 4 days delay before you receive a response and up to 2 weeks to welcome the Academy’s choice. Other than that, you may act as you see fit. Treat it as your territory, as if it’s your blood and torment shredded through its every nanometer, for it's your responsibility to aid the Blauw Empire.”

“I will, Headmaster. In the name of the Wrath Nihility Academy, I will complete this task one way or another.” Heian Ciemnosc felt the burden weight upon his shoulders. He stood straight, his shoulders already up and his chin aimed at the ceiling. Headmaster Rosfalto slowly nodded and sent 2 objects through the air, smoothly flying through to arrive in his hands. Catching them, Heian Ciemnosc looked at them at his face level while the Headmaster explained.

“These are your identification items as an Academy’s assigned supervisor. One is the token of your role, and the other is a mobile digital map that will record the Blauw Empire’s territory control and expansion. One of your obvious goals will be to take the entire Far East Region into your hands. But there’s no limit to what you must conquer. The Blauw Empire is no vassal to the Wrath Nihility Academy, but it is allowed to take action as long as a supervisor is with them.”

“It will update as the Blauw Empire expands. Shine yourself a nice little sun, kid.” The Headmaster added, encouraging Heian Ciemnosc’s ambitions and potential to whatever he could create from this task. Heian Ciemnosc looked at a circular ‘red button’ on his right palm, storing the assigned supervisor token. He activated it and watched as the Cities and the Small City appeared before him in a red digital infrastructure before turning to perfect definition.

“Ah, one last thing, little black monster.” The Headmaster’s humorous tone returned, gaining everyone’s attention again. Heian Ciemnosc stored his 2nd toy and looked up at the Headmaster, who continued. “Everyone here and outside is expecting great things from you. Make them not only not disappointed. Have them see you as an equal by the time you return, or else… oh ho ho ho ho!”

“... This assigned supervisor understands.” Heian Ciemnosc clasped his hands and slightly bowed. The Headmaster seemed more relieved now, and the rest of the higher-ups, and even some upper echelons, teased the shit out of him, feeling more light after everything had been decided. “Tsk, this kid doesn’t even praise us! Where did his manners go?” - “Where did your youth go? Aren’t you too old for asking the younger generations to venerate you?” - “Look at him, such a great future ahead of him, but he already doesn’t behave meekly to his senior, tsk tsk.”

… Step, step, step, step, step.

The fellas started leaving all at once. Heian Ciemnosc remained in the middle of the empty space as Elena and the others walked towards him. The Headmaster and Vice headmaster remained in their seats, seemingly calmer and more relaxed than just a couple minutes ago. Teacher Conde accompanied his and Elena’s people as Heian Ciemnosc’s wife arrived before him first.

“When are you leaving?” Elena rapidly asked, pinching his chin with her right hand and tenderly, but rapidly, smooching his forehead. Heian Ciemnosc gladly let it happen before showing his medallion to her. She looked at his right hand up to his face level at the side as he spoke. “In the 2nd month’s 2nd week… Hmm, it seems I can receive visits from people and even choose a person whom I deem fit to aid me in my task. Although… it looks more like a campaign.”

“Hehe, it does. But if I didn’t know you were not going with an army but to a place to manage affairs, I wouldn’t let you take any further step anywhere until you promised to bring me with you!” Elena coquettishly said, having already learned from her senior co-wives and her friends who didn’t doubt engaging in lesbo-lovo whenever they spent time together in bed. She then added, “But since I know you, and we will be far away from each other for several years, my love…”

“Uh oh, you used ‘my love’ just now. You don’t just use it for anything. Are you about to break up with me and tell me I should find real, perfect love elsewhere?” Heian Ciemnosc interrupted Elena’s momentary pause. However, she shook her head, narrowed her eyes to slits, showing her pale blonde eyelashes even more, and declared. “Oooh no, you’re not getting free of me even after death. Even if you go extinct, I’ll destroy the world, return time to the destroyed world, and bring you back. How ‘bout that?”

“Charming,” Heian Ciemnosc honestly answered with a nod and a blink of his darkest, adorable eyes. Elena gently smiled before her face blushed, and she struggled to erase that smile, but this made Heian Ciemnosc smile so pervertedly handsomely, which, in turn, made Elena’s face grow a stronger smile with every passing moment. After some antics, she finally patted his chest with hidden love, at least in her eyes, as Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes glossed in gentleness.

“I will be trained by my Master, husband. A bunch of resources have been pouring into the Academy lately, and I recently heard from our future Mother that they were asked to the Academy by Father. I think I’m in trouble,” Elena’s brown eyes faced Heian Ciemnosc’s face, who read through every little word and expression she made. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t act coy or praise her like a dog licking her hand. But he held her shoulders, eskimo kissed as their pale skin conveyed the other, and softly spoke directly into her mind. Her inner being trembled in delight.

“I’m just going overseas to secure another chip for you. If you don’t welcome me back with your whole body and Soul laying on my bed so that I can do with you however I please, how are you supposed to be a good wife? Just look at me being the best husband any girl could ask for. I even bring you to my lovers and all. Mn. Miss me, and show me what Elena is made of. I want to taste you better.”

“Mn~~...” Elena slightly nodded before resting the left side of her face on his left shoulder. The iconically silent, yet beating heart sounded in her ears, seemingly as one with her own.

Rustle… Heian Ciemnosc’s hands went up to hold her head from the back, spending these moments together as warmly as possible. Starting from today until the day of his departure, he would let go of all cultivation and studies, except for the Soul-exalting Old World parchment, and focus it on his wife and lovers.

“Right! Which transport will carry you? Did your medallion receive any news?” Elena rose from his shoulder. Her face was directly in front of his, touching the tip of the other’s noses as her brown eyes crazily glinted. “Heh, the new one they just bought.”

“The new one? Let me check…” Elena took her Universal Conveyance out to check the news. As she searched and found a clickbait title posted 2 hours ago, she spoke to him, somewhat distracted. “Since you still have some days before departing, you have to make your girls really content and satisfied. Understand? I will reserve some restaurants, hotels, paradise residences, and… MY GOD!”

Heian Ciemnosc grinned, glad he had Elena become this interested in keeping his harem in check, even if it was just with his little lovers. It was at that moment that she saw what piece of metal her husband would ride to the other end of the Kingdom. She. Was. De. Ligh-ted!!
