Crimsonbreaking Faction's Territory
When the chief of operations was in a meeting with the other 2 representatives in the Mountain Pass meeting tower, the southern forces were put into motion. As the meeting began, a force of nearly 50 million soldier units, comprised by cultivators and citizens, marched from the south's north to the Mountain Pass. Some time ago, tunnels were excavated from underneath the mountain range. Their tough structure spread further below the ground level, but it wasn't difficult to perforate it. The only problem was hiding their actions.
Thus, besides the former, another 2 forces, 70 million soldier units each, advanced northwards towards the center between the Est Soul Empire and Flora-Sweet White-Heavens Dynasty territories. They were mainly tasked to crush any possible assistance between them.
The underground tunnels, penetrating through the mountain range’s underground levels, wasn’t the only way the Crimsonbreaking Faction advanced through land towards the north. In the western mountain range, several hundred million soldier units mounted their Blue Drakes and crawled through the mountains while instilling fear in every Fauna they encountered, unnoticed.
200 million flew over the westernmost mountain range section, directly targeting a route towards the Est Soul Empire’s much less protected west, where only 1 organization’s fort blocked the path to the enemy’s headquarters; their Medium City.
The other 200 million directly went through the mountain range’s center and into the Est Soul Empire territory’s center, targeting a large variety of cities, towns, and tasked with taking down 2 fort inhabitant organizations. Although the Est Soul Empire had 1 less inhabitant organization fort than the northeastern territory, they had a plethora of cities and some towns. They didn’t even build Cities, but they were pretty good for defenses.
Thus, 400,000,000 soldier units invaded the Est Soul Empire territory after countless days of silently crawling within the mountains, blending with the surroundings and avoiding the northern territories’ detection.
In the east, the soldier units were less, but they were divided into 3 different armies. One moved through the mountain range before moving slightly to the west of the Dynasty’s territory. They had it much easier after the meeting and the show of their chief’s prowess. Thus, after battling for half a day, most inhabitants surrendered, and the Dynasty’s people yielded when they took everything that was happening into consideration.
105 million soldier units were deployed near the border between those 2 northern territories as a result. They stopped their advancement with conquering procedures and dispersed in Armies of a few million at most to apprehend every cultivator. Meanwhile, the auxiliary units commenced planning for the whole Dynasty territory’s reconstruction. They walked the land like it was their next patio’s project.
Another 105 million soldier units were deployed to mobilize in a flash towards the Dynasty territory’s center. They burned everything they touched, only sparing the civilians who listened and walked out of the settlements in time. The rest were downed in the fire and destruction.
This army was in the middle of battling an inhabitant organization, when the latter surrendered half their remaining troops, while the other half still wished to fight. In a fit of survival instincts, the surrendered troops cooperated with the Crimsons to take down their strong-willed brethren. After killing each other until late at night, they became prisoners of their new masters.
Later on, the army continued towards the Medium City, which they occupied after only 2 days, of travel whilst the auxiliary units spent a whole week to catch up to. Afterwards, the latter started planning as the civilians were gradually evacuated.
Lastly, a 110 million soldier units army was sent to the Dynasty territory’s east. This one had the fort organization they were meant to destroy completely surrender to them, but nearly every town, City, and cities near the cliffed coasts decided to fight it out and escape the Region. However, that’s when the navy entered the board.
The naval Fleets set off a day before the day of the meeting, whereas the land forces were already prepared to strike out. They spent an entire day directly navigating through the eastern and western coasts before being noticed when they were near the mountain range’s northern soil. Thus, they started bombarding the enemy settlements like there was no tomorrow a few hours after the Dynasty territory surrendered.
From the south’s east, the southeastern port sent 1 Fleet to the southern coasts in the Dynasty territory. It sent another 2 Fleets towards the northeastern coasts, decimating any settlement with arsenals, before 1 of the Fleets spread to the central northern coasts to catch any flies.
The south’s northeastern port sent its 3 Fleets to the whole eastern coasts, directly annihilating countless spaceships and cultivators who tried flying away in desperation. After a few days, it was confirmed that no Flora-Sweet White-Heavens Dynasty people escaped. Much less remaining alive after disobeying their representative’s pleas. They formed a blockade afterwards.
For the south’s western ports, it wasn’t as smooth sailing. The Est Soul Empire had no qualms to fighting the Crimsons all out. The chief had no hand to force them for anything. Besides, with their Soul Race’s pride, they’d just self-detonate their Souls than to allow an enemy to gain advantage over their kidnapping, like the ‘soft’ Dynasty had done.
Unfortunately for them, even if Heian Ciemnosc had a perfect opportunity to do the same with them as he did with the Dynasty, he wouldn’t have become interested in them for anything. The troops in the northwest were slowed down, while the soldier units in the northeast placated things before leaving them into the auxiliary units’ hands.
The south’s southwestern port sent 1 Fleet to the Est Soul Empire’s southwest coasts. They were alone, but they took a defensive, slow approach with their Elemental Water Eye barriers up all the time. The port’s remaining 2 Fleets were sent throughout the rest of the Empire’s eastern and northern coasts, along with the south’s northwestern port’s 3 Fleets.
When they arrived at their positions, despite the land forces already full-on against the Empire territory’s forces, they received heavy fire and accurate bombardment. However, the Fleets didn’t take a full-on defensive position like the Fleet sent to the enemy’s southwestern coasts.
During the battle’s first few weeks, the Est Soul Empire attempted contacting the Crimson Fleets, but these only responded after every few days with dismissing commentaries. The Soul Race members tried speaking sense into the Fleets’ ‘commanders’ and the like, but they only received mockery before being destroyed. In the end, the Empire’s people became determined to only strike back and defend.
The south’s land forces rapidly penetrating into the Est Soul Empire territory, they crippled the opportunities of direct counteroffensive for the Empire to defend themselves with and could only take the damage while lying down. After several days, the Empire soldier units had become prepared and waited for the enemy advancement. However, unlike before, the Crimsons didn’t rapidly advance.
They realized that the Crimsons in the northeast were slowly approaching their territory from the border, which nearly 300 million soldier units smoothly cleared out in the first days of the war. This left the border between the northern territories completely in the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s hands. Thus, once they were done with the west, they’d come crush their west.
The Crimson soldier units slowly advanced from temporary bases, which they fortified to the teeth, and slowly formed more defensive structures in a line as they advanced throughout the Est Soul Empire territory without a hurry.
Meanwhile, the Fleet at the eastern and northern Est Soul Empire’s territory besieged the enemy settlements with tremendous firepower, backed by tens of thousands of Fighters from every Carrier and Flotilla. They one-sidedly destroyed the coastal settlements, suffering only superficial losses.
The situation became somewhat of a stalemate after the Crimson land forces and navy made a great impact damaging the Est Soul Empire’s military, leaving only 70% of its land operable, of which 30% was helpless. The Empire wouldn’t be able to send help before the Crimson occupied that 30% of the 70% of their territory, but they could still attempt a few things.
For example, while the war was only a few weeks old, the Est Soul Empire sent a 500 million strong army in a suicidal advancement through air as they amassed all their spaceships and the inhabitants' aircraft. They attempted to force an all-out, decisive move to win everything… or nothing at all.
Their trajectory was from the Medium City, which faked an output of energy malfunction to draw the Crimson soldier units in. When they were amidst a charge towards the Medium City, thousands of enemy large, medium, and small vessels, Frigates, Fighters, and countless aircraft operated by brand-new citizens rushed directly to the south.
During the attempt, the enemy only lost about 30 million soldier units besides basically all aircraft before rushing up the mountain range. Then, they dove to the southern territory, and lost another 10 million soldier units to the bombardment from the large watchtower nearest to the western mountain range.
Their landing was rough, but the Frigates and many Fighters were used of their structure to cushion the fall of the vessels, where the soldier units were concentrated in. After landing, they ignored any settlement and even the large watchtowers, immediately rushing towards the south’s center to target the Medium Cities and Turtle Fortress.

However, even though they had strict orders, some of them wanted small victories to boost their troops and ego. But when they neared them, they found emergency protective array formations popping up light green barriers everywhere, already delaying their occupation. Then, the settlements, even small villages, bombarded them with countless bullets and shells.
They had no choice but to continue with their original plan, but their losses had only just begun. Even though they ignored the settlements and the large watchtowers, these didn’t ignore the enemies. The enemy soldier units were bombarded and barraged constantly, suffering more than a few million losses every day just from passing far away from these. The large watchtowers were especially damaging, and they destroyed whichever spaceship they had left.
The war became only more savage after the Farsighted realm officials in the enemy’s territory relayed the news to their troops. The siege on the enemy Medium City only intensified. Although the enemy lost their leading figure before the war was even fully on, they never thought of giving up. They only raised and continued fighting despite the odds.
Although Est Soul Empire territory had better defenses than the Dynasty’s ex-territory, it didn’t mean they had an endless influx of soldier units to send 500 million on a suicidal mission and still restrain the Crimsons in their territory. The majority of the new soldier units they recruited were citizens. These were more like a project, as Ogork ordered to ‘copy’ as much as they could from the east after they showed signs of a breakthrough in learning the citizens’ training regimen.
Of course, it was not successful, but these were better than the citizens the Est Soul Empire cultivated before. Even then, as they were spread throughout their territory, it only amounted to a couple of a hundred million.
As for the inhabitant cultivators joining the Est Soul Empire, it was for the same goal: to defend against the Crimsonbreaking Faction!
They had about 1.1 billion soldier units, and sending those 500 million soldier units to the south in their last attempt was bound to leave their territory more fragile than it already was. However, they had no choice. History told them that holing up against Heian Ciemnosc was meaningless.
The dissonance of pure energy Heian Ciemnosc’s dark array formations caused was resolved easily by the Est Soul Empire people. Especially so by the Soul Race Craftspeople. If it was others, without previous experience in these niche gadgets, they would have taken half a day to resolve it.
But this was the Soul Race, from an organization that has always maintained itself to the second-highest peak, if not the highest.
Nevertheless, the enemy’s offensive capabilities weren’t mediocre. As soon as they neared the first Medium City in the south, the easternmost Medium City at the center, they rained their mayhem on it. After several days, it only had a few green protective barriers remaining, and their eastern walls, with parts from their southern and northern sections, were decimated down to rubble.
But instead of continuing besieging 1 Medium City, the enemy could no longer take the immense bombardment from the other Medium Cities and the Turtle Fortress. Thus, they spread out, intending to do the same with the other Medium Cities, while a major force separated from the rest and went for the Turtle Fortress.
Their attempt wasn’t fruitless, and even the Turtle Fortress descended into losses and astronomical damage, but its protective barriers were never destroyed completely. On the other hand, the enemy’s numbers suddenly suffered 100,000,000 soldier units losses.
Without auxiliary units, they lost a lot of opportunities, and now that they spread out, the Crimsons punished them accordingly. After that ginormous loss, the enemy started losing 10 million per day, and the number only increased each new day.
On the other hand, a couple of months passed, and the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s land forces in the operation reunited and were finally prepared. After the enemy left their other opportunities off the table, the rest of the Est Soul Empire fell into the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s hands.
Once only the Medium City remained, with the navy ready to bombard its last defensive layers and arsenal, and the Carries’ Fighters flying around it, waiting for the signal, the finally time came. More than 700 million soldier units watched the world dimmer yet brighten up as the Medium City was bombarded with everything the navy had.
Once the last green barriers were finished, along with the grand array formation protecting the enemy’s last defensive point, the Fighters rushed in, like a plethora of birds in flocks. They released everything they had in several passes before the land forces rushed into it.
The Blue Drakes flew into the sky and rushed the fastest towards the smoke-filled, cloudy Medium City. They cleared the initial obstacles to deeply enter the City, just in time for their foot comrades to step in and push the prepared yet exhausted and weak-minded enemy cultivators and fearful citizens.
After more than 2 months of war against the Crimsonbreaking Faction, without possible allies in the east, the Est Soul Empire’s forces were tired. Some wanted to surrender, but they remembered the chief’s words and knew it was impossible. Others wanted this to end already. They couldn’t flee, as the Crimson Fleets were enough to destroy any of them, even if they all rushed out to give it a go.
What’s more, who is to say their enemy hasn’t prepared more spaceships themselves? With that crazy black monster, they might have never stopped creating war instruments and ammunition, not even during the war. Especially not during the war.
A week later, the Medium City was cleaned of any life that once belonged to the people protected by the Est Soul Empire. Most civilians were evacuated beforehand and were already in the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s hands. Those that stayed and didn’t show themselves because of fear, or anything else, suffered the feeling and terror of falling or exploding along a building.
It didn’t matter how tall and bulky a building was, they all fell under the elite soldier units flying around, making things a little easier for their auxiliary units after the battle was won and the Medium City occupied. Of course, that occupation was of little value.
Nevertheless, in the south, the enemy helplessly fell. After the Medium Cities and the rest of the south showed timidness, the Medium Cities and Turtle Fortress resisted a little more before they made a counterattack. For starters, the Medium City that was almost breached open by the limited yet abundant enemy focusing on it for a couple of days, was the first to act.
It sent nearly a hundred million garrison units to the rear of the enemy force attacking the Turtle Fortress. Despite being outnumbered by a few tens of millions, the enemy was tired and had less to respond, while the Turtle Fortress suddenly increased their bombardment as if they hadn’t gone all-out before.
As soon as the enemy noticed, they wanted to support each other. But the other Medium Cities did the same. Furthermore, other settlements around the south had amounted a billion garrison units, which they sent to the center to eradicate the enemy without suffering losses. While the first day since the counterattack brought some losses to the garrison units, the rest was merely a cleanup. The enemy was finished.
After 2 months, with the Crimsonbreaking Faction demonstrating their Kingdom-type full-on offensive, the war ended.
. . .
2 days after the Est Soul Empire was confirmed to be vanquished from the Turtle Hiding Region.
Today was the 93rd year, 3rd month, 3rd week, and 3rd day of the Change. Heian Ciemnosc is now 93 years old but still looking like a fine young man, getting more handsome as he evolved his [All-Devouring Force Chronicles] innate Divine Art. Even he was astounded by the strangeness of the date he decided to step out from cultivation.
He walked through the Turtle Fortress, which was rumored to change its name after a little while. The Region’s south was currently in festivities mode. Although they heard the war was astronomically bloodier than what they experienced, news of civilian refugees arriving daily was heard like a godly golden bell sounding throughout the south.
Etherea, Tulla, Floris, and Molto walked behind him, while Xue Yoler aimlessly walked beside his left. Every time she nearly fell half a step behind, Heian Ciemnosc would slow down, causing her to pay attention to her steps. Her face was low, and although her eyes weren’t lost, they contained suffering.
“Sir,” after diligently engrossing in her digital clipboard, Etherea stepped up on Heian Ciemnosc’s right and greeted before commencing. Her voice was professional, as always, but it contained traces of excitement and pride. “The war has concluded, and the Universal Conveyance is in full discussion after the Region’s event.”
Etherea showed screens in her clipboard from people commenting in forums and speaking in live shows, debating and questioning. There were all kinds of sides and faces the world was giving to Heian Ciemnosc’s actions.
One particular forum was still in heated debate even a couple of days after the war was confirmed to have ended.
“But did you see that Crimson maneuver? They can’t be trusted!” - “Indeed. Look at what a Security Elder can do. Who knows what kind of monstrosity others are capable of?” - “Bah. You are all forgetting who he is? It’s been only a few decades, nothing for even idiotic cultivators like you to forget. He’s the black monster…” - “So what? His actions were probably without the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s consent.”
“The Faction? Ha! His actions were nothing that anyone would ever agree on.” - “Yes. We literally attacked our own ally. It’s because of the Heraxle Clan that the Uster Orion Grotto and the Axe-Filany Sect haven’t gone to ‘bigger’ talks with the Empire, you know?” - “This is clearly the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s selfish goals, and they will be punished for it!”
“You’re right about that. This was only the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s doing. Your Heraxle Clan might have never intended for this, but… will they, now? After taking over one of the richest Regions any Kingdom, even Divine Kingdoms, can have, will they slap themselves and imprison your black monster?”
The forum only became more intense after that comment from someone from another Universal Land, probably from the Demi-Eternal Soulgrounds Universal Land, judging by how heated and counteroffensive the comments between that person and others became.
Heian Ciemnosc then watched a small segment of a finished live show, where a Human and a half Fairy and half Human woman with light purple skin but blonde hair, debated 1 on 1. The subject was naturally about Heian Ciemnosc’s actions and the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s near-future sentence for their crimes… Or rewards for their achievements.
“The black monster is sure enjoying of his achievements, right? But didn’t he also cause many civilian deaths? Honestly, it’s a surprise the Entente hasn’t bathed all the Crimsonbreaking Faction in red. Is the world waiting for an invitation?” The man said, gesturing to the woman with an open smile, sarcastic and challenging.
