Chapter 587 — Hail The Royal Princess!

Chapter 587 — Hail The Royal Princess!

Hail The Royal Princess!

"She's coming!!" - "AAAH! Run! Run for your goddamn lives!" - "What the hell, man?! I thought she was done already!" - "She's unstoppable, we need help!" - "Shut up, she's already her-"

CRAAASHHHH! Ruumble~! Rumble~! Rumble~! Booom!

Inside a tall building, as the enemy cultivators were rushing about and trying to aim their missile launching system towards a closer range, Ishikyy's dark azure transformed body crashed against a wall. Her body immediately started taking lives as her tail impaled any enemy, male or female, and of any cultivation realm, and her upper and lower dark azure claws sent energy cuts through the air and lacerated any enemy to death.

“Raahwr!” Ishikyy roared at the rest as her body rolled in the sky, sideways but moving forward. She stopped and echoed that roar towards them, but it wasn’t cute or immature. It contained some strange echo and made every enemy feel like they were in the middle of an earthquake, but not even the air rippled. Before they could recompose themselves, the missile that had followed Ishikyy since the first building she raided finally caught up but went over her left shoulder and continued flying forwards.

The missile started self-detonating before it crashed against a pillar. When it did, that pillar broke apart from up and below, immediately sending the tall building everyone was in into a quake as it leaned and arched to Ishikyy’s left, making everyone stumble before flying into the air. But just as their bodies floated, and the tall building began falling, Ishikyy rushed forth, kicking the breaking ground and forcing the building to break into two beforehand.

Whoosh! Phhshk! Crrreeesshhhhkk! Ckrsheeeeeerrrrr!

Ishikyy’s massacre continued, and she rapidly dispatched every enemy with life still in their bodies. Those resisting a claw or energy attack from her had their heads smashed. She went up a level, ignoring those below her current floor, ignoring the fact the building was falling as she continued her massacre and kept going up. Wherever she went, screams and agony spread, turning the building into a bloody mess from the half to the base before it hit the ground.

CRAAAAAAASHSHHSHHH~~!

The noise resounded everywhere, garnering a loud of attention, but the enemy headquarters’ battlefield was still in the middle of the climax, just beginning to end this fight, and nobody could even send requests for information. The situation had grown far too heavy, far too tense. The last thing the Empire’s ground forces knew was that the navy successfully bombarded the enemy Small City’s protective barriers, and the assault had begun.

By then, Ishikyy had already finished slaughtering the first tall building after she returned the gift to the other with that missile. Now that she was facing off the second, she was still full of energy, and when it fell on the ground, lifting nearly 100 meters of dust and making the earth quake a little, only one little shadow flew up nonchalantly. Before those who had been at the base of the now fallen tall building realized they had to escape, their necks and heads were being slashed and stabbed by the same person.

Ishikyy didn’t waste time after finishing up another tall building and rushed on 4 limbs towards the nearest battle. Her Blue Force followed suit after dealing with every other tall building with missile launching systems installed within. They weren’t as fast as Ishikyy after she upgraded her transformation, but they also moved towards the same battle and were fearless to join the carnage.

As soon as Ishikyy neared them, the Empire’s soldier units were afraid and shocked to see her monster-like, dragon-like appearance. But after they read through her familiar outlined figure and her medallion confirmed her identity, they erupted in cheers and fought more as they saw the rest of the Blue Force and the soldier units under their command followed suit.

This meant the Blue Force’s rumored defeat after the sounds before Ishikyy transformed weren’t accurate, and they were just delayed at worst. And also that the soldier units under her command had won their first battle in destroying the enemy’s headquarters. They felt more glorious because of that! Amidst their cheers, Ishikyy plunged into the enemy ranks, directly massacring anyone who wasn’t in her realm and similar to her cultivation base.

Those in higher stages than her at the Neutral Encephalon realm targeted her, but she evaded them swiftly while being followed by a bunch of Neutral Encephalon realm Imperial Guards who bullied those with lower realms due to the enemy’s decision to target their royal princess all-out. It was a bad decision that the enemy didn’t take too long to respond to and changed to defend their fellow cultivators. But by then, everything was too late…

The damage Ishikyy had caused in the enemy force became a large wound that gained an infection, which the Empire’s force facing them helped open further, and the Blue Force and other soldier units under its command were in charge of spreading that infection. She could be seen moving left and right, recklessly and uniformly. But Ishikyy was untouchable. Only random energy attacks could land on her.

However, those enemy energy attacks were from those of the same stage or from lower realms. Whenever such energy bouts landed on her body, they were just like water balloons falling on a tank, splashing to scatter in the air without even making her move from the opposite direction it came from. Meanwhile, Ishikyy’s dark azure claws gained more and more entrails, veins, and organ tissue, becoming like tentacles that followed her and only became cleaner when she used darkish Water elemental techniques.

The war continued, and as she reunited with her Blue Force and the soldier units under her command, they regrouped with the force they aided and rushed towards the next battle. One after another, the Empire gained control of ⅓ of the enemy’s headquarters. Buildings fell wherever they went, but there were no more hidden missile launching systems, and corpses were left to rot from the enemy’s side as they picked up their fallen.

CRAAAASHHH- BOOOOOOMMMM~~!!... In under 3 hours, the enemy headquarters had become rubble and chunks of their tall buildings in craters and dirtied enemy corpses. At last, the battle for destroying the enemy headquarters was completed with the collapse of their central building after their Generals swept in and crashed the skies with potent Neutral Energy bouts threatening to reach and blast their bodies.

The enemy's leading figures didn't care anymore as they could feel the defeat of their Region, but the Generals did, and they defended their soldier units even when their opponent was being reckless without care. Those fights didn’t last long, however. The Empire’s Generals weren’t just Imperial Guards with a higher cultivation base. They were specifically trained to become the Imperial Guards and citizen soldier units’ Generals. They had to have more than just strategic, tactical, and logistics performance to match their army’s prowess.

After the Generals finished off their enemy, the central building was emptied by the Blue Force and then entered by other soldier units to plant bombs and explosive array formations. A few minutes later, the over 600 meters tall central building finally tumbled down after half its body, irregularly from the base to the top, was bathed in flames and explosives waves destroying walls and pillars from the inside.

To the Imperial Guards who saw thousands, or tens of thousands, die beside them in each battle, this was a small pat on their shoulders. And to the citizens, this was a small moment of relaxation, but their fingers on their rifle’s triggers were still waiting to push it a little more until they felt like they needed to lie down for a good while. The war was still ongoing in the enemy's Small City, and the Wheel of Presence Region was also still alive and kicking.

“... I… feel hungry!” While everyone else was relaxing a little as armored vehicles drove towards them, and Fighters also flew towards them from a far distance to pick them up and send them right on their day’s last hell before receiving their well-welcoming short rest. Ishikyy, their royal princess, bent while standing on her two dark azure claws, also watching the fall of the central building after arduous, bloody battles for both sides.

She bent her body slightly before clutching her abdomen. The Blue Force’s personnel’s eyes widened as only they could feel how little Neutral Energy their Captain had in her storage. It was so thin that it was a miracle Ishikyy could still stand. They gave credit to her potent bodily strength before moving towards her. Fernanda wore a curious, suspicious expression as she saw her fellow girlfriend clutch her stomach as if she was having a civilian’s tummy ache.

Quickly, she nodded at a special soldier unit, and the elite Imperial Guard rushed to one of the previous battles’ locations to retrieve something. When the imperial Guard returned, Ishikyy was nearly kneeling on the ground. Out of respect, the soldier units around her crouched and lowered their heads, but they didn’t know how to help her. Ishikyy downed some pills while the Imperial Guard Fernanda sent away was gone, but she was still seemingly hurting, and it was getting worse. But, finally, the Imperial Guard returned and passed ‘it’ to Fernanda.

“Hey, here,” Fernanda said as she stepped towards Ishikyy. Ishikyy struggled to stand straight back up. Her legs wobbled, and the nook of her knees couldn’t extend completely. Ishikyy turned her head to the side and saw a fresh corpse of a male facing the ground, supported by the chest on Fernanda’s right hand. Fernanda’s left hand was on her right shoulder, and the corpse… looked quite tasty.

Ishikyy glanced at her girlfriend’s face, filled with worry but not disgust, before looking at the corpse again. Not bothering anymore, Ishikyy grabbed it from behind and lunged her head downwards. Her scary fangs and wide open jaw didn’t scare or surprise the soldier units around her, let alone her Blue Force’s special soldier units. After taking a bite, she couldn’t hold herself any longer and knelt on the ground while her dark azure claws moved to clutch that neck instead and started skinning it before throwing it inside her mouth.

Putong, bite- crreeshhk… nom, nom, nom… splash, squishy-squash, nom nom… rawrrh…

Ishikyy felt a marvel happening inside her body. Before, she could only feel slight growth in her body when eating Fauna, raw or roasted, cooked or made into soup. It didn’t matter. Even snacks were enough to make her feel a little warm or fresh in her Dantian and Psychogenic regions. But now, as she started eating a recently perished corpse with only a stab going through its head, she felt her entire body brimming as a taste that never occurred to her invaded her taste buds.

Her hands continued crazily skinning the neck and back before directly starting to eat the entire corpse, leaving the genitals, hair, clothes, and things like nails and bones to rot on the ground in the future. Once she was done, her body felt a little stronger even, but she knew this was just a temporary effect. However, she did feel the influx of pure energy into Neutral Energy. It was slow, and it would need a while for her to refill her storage, and it was also not enough with only 1 corpse…

“...Ah.” Ishikyy suddenly looked up and noticed every soldier unit and special soldier unit from her Blue Force looking at her. They were wide-eyed and still crouching, with a small fraction kneeling, but they were all staring at her satisfied self. Ishikyy was still covered in azure, dark scales, but she was the royal princess they knew despite her new appearance/transformation and devouring new habits.

“You may leave. The war is still going on. There’s no need to watc- …” Ishikyy said, standing up as she was about to ask her Blue Force to give her new corpses, but before she could say anything. She became shocked. The soldier units around her all wore startled expressions, and her Blue Force’s soldier units were stone-faced. Nevertheless, everyone altogether… took a corpse out of their Covert Space bags, stunning her silly with a jaw-gaping mouth.

“You guys… sniff- ah… nom, nom, nom,” Ishikyy’s dragonish nose sniffled once before gaining the strong desire to continue eating it. Although the others were a bit awkward and weren’t receiving the same ‘nutrients’ as she did when everyone did this… It was more than a corny act. It was something that made her heart bolster with belonging, and she swore to end this war to bring their Blauw Empire back to the place it deserves, to the deaths of many of her Empire’s troops fought before her for…

… The armored vehicles and Fighters continued moving towards them. They were boarded by the Imperial Guards and citizens as they continued eating their corpses. Ishikyy was one of the firsts to be picked up, and by her Blue Force’s armored vehicles, for that matter. She kept eating corpse after corpse as Fernanda and Pou did the same. The former had an ‘eewie’ face, but she did her best. Pou was intense and serious enough to make the former want to keep going despite not enduring it anymore, but it was all for her dear girlfriend.

The army sent to the enemy headquarters in the Eclushisk Contrail Region was thus repositioned to the enemy Small City, whose protective barriers were long gone, and the fight inside was greater, and fire arose for even higher than 1,000 meters into the sky, but the machine guns and artillery guns still fired left and right, back and forth between sides.

As the armored vehicles Ishikyy was part of closed in, they started receiving enemy fire, but the ground forces in the Small City did a sudden, potent charge forward. The enemy was forced to keep the firepower down lest they were blasted to smithereens in energy, bullets, and shelling attacks. Even then, some bullets and enemy energy attacks still made their way to the sky, and damaged some helicopters and Fighters.

The terrestrial armored vehicles had it better, and their personnel quickly rushed into the battle to aid their tired fellow Imperial Guards and citizens. From the sky, numerous soldier units jumped, and even citizens hooked to Imperial Guards descended from their helicopters or Fighters, fired from the air, and started making contributions to the war effort already! The enemy sent enemy attacks into the air more than before, but so could the Imperial Guards.

What’s more, their Arts had already been studied, and Heian Ciemnosc had employed enough practice in their regimen so they could learn how to synchronize and merge theirs with others, individually or between groups. Now that the Imperial Guards were falling from the sky and had to protect their fellow citizen soldier units, they employed their combined Arts all-out, overthrowing most enemy energy attacks and smashing them with it.

Ishikyy was just one of the few who came down directly with their helicopter while the fighters dropped their personnel and did a circling round, bombarding and harassing the enemy from above before flying away. On the other hand, Ishikyy and her Blue Force rushed downwards in a nose-dive, protecting each other from incoming enemy missiles and following a path of mayhem that the Empire’s other fleets did for them so their incursion could be a little more successful.

It was a little bit of work, but the fleets couldn’t do much more. The ground forces were everywhere, and they couldn’t control them like ants with their Soul energy and Spirit Sense. What if they targeted a faraway place, but a small force rushed there after winning one battle? It might be too late since their rocket launchers and missiles are too fast for the Second Step cultivators in the early realms to get away from the bombarding zone.

As for why the Empire’s fleets weren’t just bombarding every enemy to death, it would be tremendously costly to repair a Small City’s structure and defensive measures and re-normalize the pure energy and nature around it. Thus, tens of millions of Imperial Guards and citizen soldier units fought with their goddamn lives to occupy the Small City and put an end to the enemy’s struggle to be conquered by their Blauw Empire!

… When Ishikyy fell on the ground, cracked it along her special soldier units, and received enemy energy attacks with lethality aimed at their persons, she blocked them all with her marvelous azure dark scales’ defensive capabilities before rushing at them! Her Blue Force followed her around, like always, but like before, when they were just bathing the enemy in bloody carnages, a sudden missile flew towards one of her Blue Force’s detachments.

Stomp! Whooooosh! Ishikyy didn’t doubt to throw herself into the air after confirming the detachment she was in was okay with her leaving. In fact, her detachment was already winning the battle she was participating in— a hill made from destroyed building’s debris turned into dirt, dust, and enemy corpses.

Thudd! -Whistle, whistle, whistle~!

When Ishikyy landed on the ground, just as she sent a whip of darkish Water element, her familiarized senses picked up an incoming group of enemy missiles. Her eyes widened, but her fangs gritted even harder. She first brought the missile down, breaking it into 2 and sending the warhead to the enemy’s aerial territory while the other half directly into the enemy ranks. The former exploded and caused extra disorder on the enemy side, while the latter directly obliterated several dozen enemy cultivators with her darkish Water exploding everywhere.

Immediately after, Ishikyy rose to the skies with her longer dark azure tail slapping the ground as her legs remained straight. She flew towards the trajectory of those other incoming enemy missiles trying to bombard her Blue Force detachment were going in, ready to intercept them herself. An azure dragon’s energy-based head appeared behind her to her right, but her energy storage depleted too rapidly…

Ishikyy’s body floated right where the enemy missiles were just seconds away from arriving. Her face was confident, even as she knew her Neutral Energy storage was dwindling. She spread her hands and sent strong bursts of it from her Spirit Bosom and Spirit Image. Her Neutral Energy became as thin as a glass of water, nearly void of liquid. But she still made her Spirit Image open its jaws wide before vomiting several azure energy chains from within.

They entangled around the missiles and crunched them, exploding each next to each other as they received the erroneous ‘signal’ that the Blauw Empire’s royal princess was near them, which couldn’t be done without Heian Ciemnosc’s teachings. They made fireworks everywhere before Ishikyy, just 1 second from reaching her position, mostly thanks to their speed, about a few kilometers away from where Ishikyy floated.

“Phew…” Ishikyy sighed a little when she realized her desire to protect her Blue Force from sure death. Not even Ishikyy, without this ‘darkish’ transformation, could deal with them, let alone her Blue Force’s special soldier units. However, her Spirit Sense suddenly saw their eyes turn wide-eyed, and their skin paled. Ishikyy’s ears tingled when hearing tiny ‘whistle, whistle’ noises. Soon after, she and everyone below her, enemy cultivators or soldier units from the Blauw Empire, saw a group of 5 missiles flying towards her.

“...” Ishikyy tightened her fists tightly, already feeling her royal guards stepping from their hidden spots… but… she was unwilling… So what if her Neutral Energy storage was basically empty now? She. Wasn’t. Willing!

Z… zz… zz… zzz-crack…
