Chapter 235 — The Wind Whistles

The Wind Whistles

From time to time, during the weekdays and ever since the Nulla Kingdom decided to hold large banquets for the young that came from anywhere to find a partner. Whether from their own race or not, these young people, beasts, from the Beast Race organizations one way or another.

During weekdays, many young girls would come out of Ciemnosc's guest house. During weekends, they would be finding their male and either mark him right away by marrying them in the Nulla Kingdom or getting their bellies with babies. Being a cultivator allowed oneself to easily detect if life was forming within oneself. It was just very effortless and uncomplicated to figure out.

So in this way, Ciemnosc was a major contributor to the Beast Race’s sudden growth in couples that were more than willing to do some love-baby-making with abandon. That was, of course, not only because of his marvelous… ways and methods he had to awaken the sexuality of those ranging from 15 to 18. While there were some indeed who had their ages well over a decade than 18 years old, those were negligible numbers of young women within his… ‘clients’.

Then there were the times that Ciemnosc was just doing his work and teaching the people of the Beast Race all he knew about array formations… to the basics. It was an impossible task to teach them everything. But Ciemnosc was content to know they were both exemplary for learning and adequate for being interested in learning. When he first started teaching, there was a bit of a lack of reaction from his ‘new students’, but it all changed as time went by.

For the moment, all he could do was give large groups of beasts the knowledge of a subject he knew in its entirety which was everything. When it came to array formations, they had their nature’s protection for a muse. When it was about alchemy, they had a relentless satisfaction in knowing about nature and the plants or herbs that had it rapidly got into their hearts. When forging was shown to their eyes, their hearts trembled with the endless possibilities, especially with the ways one could ‘adorn’ oneself with dangerous or safe items on their bodies.

The Beast Race ended up being Ciemnosc’s best students ever. They had nothing to compare to other than the most elementary and almost useless array formations. What they knew of pills, potions, and healing incense, was too little. They were ignorant of poison, venom, mistakes, and of the works of nature when devoted to alchemy. Forging became their solid base ground. Many could be seen simply learning as fast and as good as possible just to give a little something to their new wives or future children.

Tools were their hardest finding, for they were a bunch of nature adorers. Ciemnosc spent an extra couple of weeks imprinting into their mind the uses of tools. And that refusing them was refusing nature. He gave them the most simplistic of reasons and used the most apparent methods to show it. With that time, as it was repeated into their minds, it began echoing inside them without Ciemnosc needing to say another word.

And also, women could learn to do all kinds of tools, from beauty kits, even for cultivators, to pleasure self-inducing items of lewd. For men… they were men, so they were either making some things that didn’t have sense or might in the future or were just messing around. Of course, there was no doubt that they would also make ‘gifts’ for females who have female intimate parts and are not nuns or so. That was whenever they were not being responsible, which was a lot of the time, but still capable of being immeasurably helpful in the future.

When it came to the caretaking of Creatures, however, it was Ciemnosc who was taught; and was given enormous pieces of information. New knowledge and this knowledge were just fitting for Ciemnosc in his way of dealing with Creatures; and wildlife.

Instead of just using the food that Creatures liked, being nice to them by caressing them whenever he went through the shelters and showing them he could understand them before any training. Ciemnosc was now taught to be cruelly detached, before training, after training, and more so during training. However, when training was over and a large amount of experience the Creature in question had gained it, that was the time to be soft and even loving towards said Creature.

The results were different from before in the sense that instead of being fond of him and innately affectionate towards him, the Creatures just… came to respect him a lot.

In the past, Ciemnosc was of course aware that even if his Creatures were trained well, they would’ve at most been unwilling but still do it if dangerous times came across their lives. His Creatures might give their life for him, but they would rather not. And if they had families, they would for sure sacrifice themselves to the enemy or trouble ahead, just like the most honorable and brave of Creatures and any living being could. But even then, it wouldn’t be without fear.

Now, however, if he did as much as to seriously tell one of his newly caretaken Creatures to die, they would only hope he was glad about their deaths… Naturally, both Ciemnosc and his teachers on this matter were aware that if he was any ordinary living being, such things wouldn’t happen, as it is one of the rarest of things even among Beast over a Creature.

Nevertheless, even if Ciemnosc did atrocities such as eating the flesh and remains of the same race that his teammates were, that his troops were and that his Mommy and Sister were, simply telling someone to off themselves was the same as doing nothing and watching his Mommy die and not meeting her, it was just that way… that way.

All in all, while Ciemnosc was taught, teached and played with the bodies of many young girls daily, he was also observing and studying all about a beast’s anatomy and their different work with nature and pure energy itself.

Ciemnosc himself had a good example of both, and at the same time already some time ago. The Little Lake and the pure energy that was unleashed with the destruction of 1 Supreme Powerful Stone and the activation of pure energy shells, it wasn’t just a matter of ‘science’ or ‘nature’. Both had to do with what Ciemnosc has been lacking the most among his professions and bits of knowledge alone, without anything nor anywhere to put it to use: plain knowledge about nature and pure energy.

He might be a hellish talented boy when it came to being an allrounder Craftsman. But Ciemnosc was still unaware of pure energy or nature itself, other than his findings when he was in the middle of both back in that day. Other than that, he has no vital information about such things, and yet he knew they were perhaps the most important things he… could discover and need.

But that would be left for other times. Within the 100+ days spent within the Nulla Kingdom, Ciemnosc received many students. But his most valued time was whenever he walked through the kingdom’s streets, observed the beasts, from very young to very old, and studied their bodies simply with his Spirit Sense covering them without any ill intent.

Sometimes, he would just spend some time with little kids that weren’t even younger by more than 5 years, yet they could only reach up to his waist or abdomen at most. He would mimic playing with them, but in reality, he was trying to move their bodies while running on the streets or ‘fighting’ and wrestling, sending them flying softly with the force of his body forcing wind but leaving his ‘subjects’ harmless.

That, however, could not be said it was the same for the prisoners that Ciemnosc was delivered every night.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

There were rumors that the Nulla Kingdom had accepted a new form of imprisoning their criminals and whoever dared to see them as slaves and to-be-slaved. From humans to beats, but mainly beasts as those humans who dared humiliate them were mostly killed on the spot. They were delivered to the hell-screams of the Beast Race’s Milord, and it was said that nobody would ever be seen again when delivered to him in the night.

Young girls who were promising wives were said to be safe during the daytime. But at night, the guesthouse the Milord lived in would turn into hell itself and the incarnation of the word ‘torment’. However, every promising and innocent wife that left with a smile and a blush on their faces, along with some other sisters from the guesthouse would just talk about how life is wonderful and easy after coming out of it.

While Ciemnosc didn’t know he was a sort of gigolo during the day, only he knew he was feeding himself while also studying the rest of a beast’s body reactions and functions when the worst happen to them. Not using his Vocón Link at the beginning, Ciemnosc would only give them the chance to become his dark Power Energy after he was done experimenting with each of their bodies. For he was also reacting to their fear and desperation; even hopelessness and hope as he let them watch one by one…

Other than that were the moments that Ciemnosc was given— forced —free time into his agenda and he could relax— taking on dates —by either Torme, some of the bunnies, and even other Beast Race organizations and… the queen Olga herself.

… On this one occasion, Ciemnosc and queen Oolga were flying through the skies. A ‘little’ bat was their ride as they glided through the skies. The bat was so large and ginormous that its wingspan alone was enough to cover an entire small village of a dozen houses or so. And should it fly over the sky and its shadow descended upon the land, it could even cover an entire town.

It was, of course, at night, and the queen took Ciemnosc out to witness the entirety of the Beast Race’s residing place. When coming out of the natural array formation, Ciemnosc wasn’t sure of what he would see but…what he saw was the beauty of nature once more in his life; this time without any suffering or weirdness; it was plain beauty.

Like a house of domes, such as a convention of beehives, or like a nest full of eggs; golden and godly-looking domes were apparent throughout the entire land that spanned over thousands of kilometers. Each one had roads that led anywhere they wanted. There were wide, long roads that would then separate into smaller and thinner ones to reach the rest of the world outside this zone through such.

It was breathtaking to just see it from thousands of meters above the ground, as the natural array formations were way too tall for any living being to try and go over them without detection, and that was just one of many positive things about depending on a naturally formed array formation.

However, even as they were beautiful, they would sometimes have fractions on their barriers blinking and showing signs of… being worn out. It was a bit of a tragic situation. But with queen Olgaon on his side, they were a beautiful tragedy to witness as she held his waist from his back.

“The old ones and the First say these natural barriers will last for only 1,000 years more. A thousand years later, they will be gone, and we-” Queen Olga’s voice resounded, and Ciemnosc felt her front body all up against his back. Even the upper sections of his bum were fully coated with her scent and fabulous body. But it was just then that Ciemnosc interrupted, though he completed her words more than anything, “And you will be ready to fight out of your home.”

“...” Queen Olga looked at Ciemnosc with her head and eyes turning to face him directly, her head behind the back of his head to his left. She saw his profile face and, very un-queen-ly, she closed her face to his left cheek and smooched it once, then twice with both smooches sounding a crispy noise without trying to. “Yes.”

“And there,” queen Olga pressed herself, her body, even more against Ciemnosc’s back as she leaned over to him and even separated her butt slightly from her mount’s back. Her left arm thrust forwards, she pointed with her index finger at a road while her mount was gilding very slowly around a dome below them. “That is where, as it is in every other organization, merchants are starting to arrive and have initiated trade with us.”

“Mn,” Ciemnosc ‘mned’ as usual, but queen Olga’s eyes shone brighter and intensely when he did. After exclaiming as such, as Ciemnosc then added with a soft voice, “The academy has done its part. Now they will start pressing for you to join. Do not until-”

This time, it was the queen’s turn, who has learned much either from hearing about Ciemnosc’s other dates from those dates themselves or from the dates she has had with him - to interrupt the other. “Until 100 or 1,000 years. Yes, I know, Milord. Unless our nature’s protection is gone, not a single Beast Race will come out to die for another race. We are but too few and uncivilized, sigh.”

Even as she sighed, she did so into his left ear, all while her arms took his neck, shoulders and heartbeat hostage. The night eventually came to go on and on, and as the sun was about to come out, they returned to the Nulla Kingdom on the back of a gigantic flying bat.

… On another day, when Ciemnosc was brought to meet the First, it was in the very first few days since he joined the Beast Race in teaching and studying them.

He was brought over to a building that was within the Nulla Kingdom’s natural array formation but was away from both the palace and Torme’s mansion. It wasn’t a lavish construction, but it was smaller than anything else around. However, all that was shown on the surface was simply the… room for the stairs leading underneath, where a majestic resting place had been built over the last thousands of years.

Looking and inspecting around himself, Ciemnosc saw the multiple tiny array formations at every corner of the perimeter in each and every room. Each step he made was sensed and sent through somewhere. It was ingenious, and Ciemnosc had to praise it. But it wasn’t as if he could never have thought of it, only that he didn’t need such well-made protection from array formations for himself. If anything, it could help the students with a lower cultivation base.

As he went down the stairs, with only queen Olga guiding him down and through the several array formations needing identification, Ciemnosc noticed that the latter were actually foolproof and even Ciemnosc would need to have permission to go through them immediately. Though he could crack them up, he would take time, and if not extremely careful, he would easily warn anyone who was checking this place and guarded it.

Many layers after layers of array formations and tiny array formations, all going down the stairs, queen Olga successfully presented Ciemnosc with the way down to the only flat surface after almost an hour of going down a… considerable number of steps down the stairs. The layout was simple and without decorations. Only plain gray was visible, and a large arching width was available to go through, whereas the other side of the room opposite the last step of the stairs was just a plain, gray wall.

As this reversed ‘U’ shaped room was approached by queen Olga, Ciemnosc seemed to smell the burning of one’s blood. However, it was not in the same way that any living being’s blood would boil, it was just… something else and different that he had never seen before, not even in humans completely but somewhat similar.

Later on, when he would be training under the beasts to learn the greatest secrets of Creatures, Ciemnosc, he would also come to understand more about bloodline. And furthermore experiment with it as he used his prisoners or even simply studying of the Beast Race’s people. It was all about one’s bloodline. And though humans could have similar functions within their own bodies, it was not bloodline that they could use; rather it was blood essence.

As queen Olga placed her right hand onto the ‘wall’, she looked back at Ciemnosc, and her eyes glowed without any color or light, but they glowed like never before. Just as Ciemnosc felt the presence of the next realm on another cultivator, at last, the wall cracked from the middle of its uppermost section before spreading all the way to the last millimeter before the ground could crack apart as well.

The crack went silent after it had divided the ‘wall’ of plain gray into two. And as queen Olga returned to face it, the wall began moving on its own, sliding to the sides and adhering itself to the lower corners of the wall. Like a bunch of dirt being dug out, it piled up to the sides and from its center revealed a large yet humble-sized hall.

There was a change in the air. Ciemnosc also felt hundreds of different layers of array formations, not overlapping each other only but also sharing space within other array formations, yet maintaining their autonomy as different from each other. There were sad, dark blue particles all around, and the walls reflected that blue, though they seemed to be made of a bright gray, metallic source.

With that already being interesting enough, the hall was no more than 10 meters in diameter. But it had a roof-floor distance of… hundreds of meters before finally ending.

“Olga…” In the middle, which was also from where that voice and such spoken word was heard from, was a simple yet magnificent bed made of stone, a stone so smooth it rivaled the polish of the metallic walls. On top of it was a living being, a person with ears so big they could almost be the size of Ciemnosc’s body. He wasn’t breathing, and he had large eyes that were yet of normal size. Only his long ears were the most dumbfounding sight. And they were of course of fur.
