Chapter 280 — Allrounder Marvel!

Allrounder Marvel!

A few minutes later, over the course of just 10 minutes in total, Heian Ciemnosc stopped sending his dark Power Energy into the cauldron from its butt. He stepped back and waited until the cauldron almost emptied out of water. Then he placed much dirt into the cauldron, covered by his dark Power Energy, after kneading it slightly. It fell into its mouth like a large piece of gum the size of a baby's head.

Ssssssssii.

With the sound of it burning inside the cauldron, Heian Ciemnosc began making a hole 5 meters away. His right foot simply stomped with his instep a few times, but even then, it was difficult for him to make a hole, forcing him to dig out a little, dirtying his shoe. When Heian Ciemnosc was over with it, he returned to the safe and stable cauldron and picked it up. It was still warm enough to burn anyone’s skin without energy protection.

He casually brought it to the hole half a meter deep and leaned over it to introduce his hands into its mouth. His head also went in as he seemed to be working on something. It wasn’t much from what could be heard except that dirt and ashes rubbed on a cold, enclosed surface; constantly. After another 5 minutes, he lifted his head, with some dirt and dust specks staining it.

“Teacher, do you have a thurible?” Heian Ciemnosc asked. The Teacher looked at the teenager before taking one with spirals in the middle and cicada wing’s-thin glass surrounding it up and down. He presented it to Heian Ciemnosc, who unceremoniously took it and returned his upper body to the cauldron.

Everyone: (゜ ロ゜)

Heian Ciemnosc began making sounds of scratching from the inside of the cauldron. After 20 seconds of doing so, he stood up and stepped away from the cauldron before presenting it to the Teacher. His thurible had become dirtied with some greenish dirt as if it had grown mold there for ages. The Teacher was too caught up on it, and the tiny puddle, more like swampy mud, in the center of the thurible of a similar but lighter color tone.

“Come on, light it up,” Heian Ciemnosc said. Then lifted the Teacher’s hands, holding the thurible. And before the Teacher noticed, he instinctively lit its base up, letting the swampy mud heat up with bubbles already appearing. The thurible’s sides. With its greenish dirt covering it emanating a smoke, reunited with the smoke from the liquid as it all went out of the thurible at its top.

“!” With a ‘whoosh’ - the Teacher left the space in front of Heian Ciemnosc, went past him, and came to the middle of the participants, still focused more on their presentation than the pale teenager AW.

Wheesh, swish~.

The Teacher arrived at the center, slightly swung his sleeves without moving, and seemingly conjured a large but not strong gust that started like a twirl in the space above him. The medicinal fragrance of the incense began to seep into that twirl, holding all of its contents. And gave it a competent capability to spread everywhere instead of in a small zone.

Then, the Teacher’s gust of air traveled everywhere, from the center to the borders of the participants' batch, even slightly reaching where Heian Ciemnosc was, who was currently watching everything happen with a little grin that lasted some seconds.

“Hmm, sniff sniff, what’s that? So good…” - “Ah… that’s better. Didn’t know we would be aided now. Seems weird.” - “I… am close to a breakthrough? No! I was before! I just didn’t notice!!” - “Well, I feel horny.” - “...”

Heian Ciemnosc’s incense drifted to the noses and pores of everyone taking the 2nd test, and their mind cleared swiftly. Their hearts thumped harshly once before smoothly continuing to beat sonorously but without distracting them. And their body movements became flawless for what they could accomplish. Some even felt their minds relax so much they could almost feel their breakthrough about to happen. Their foundation was still not solid enough, but their mentality at the moment would be enough for their next stage breakthrough to happen successfully!

Whoosh. Tap.

“In…credible.” The Teacher returned to Heian Ciemnosc’s side, behind his back. Saying straight as he looked at the incense left on the grass, still emitting that medicinal fragrance, the Teacher praised Heian Ciemnosc before adding. “Using the stalks of grass they so ignored and stepped on impatiently and eager to please them, calm them, and ease their minds. If this is not nature’s knowledge, nothing else could ever be. It’s the basics!”

“And these are even ordinary grass! It’s simply-” The Teacher continued. A smile on his face as Heian Ciemnosc turned around slowly with his hands behind his lower back. Interrupting the enthusiastic Teacher, Heian Ciemnosc completed his words, “The use of their intent on stepping on the grass. And the cultivation fluctuations they left in the dust on them without knowing. I also used my dark Power Energy to give them more than a relaxing mind. It is also intrusive and nails at one’s body via anywhere, even through clothes with protection for Obsidiafying realm cultivators or slightly higher; I believe. Though that can also be a sexual ‘reviver’ too.”

“Ah… indeed.” The Teacher nodded. He calmed down now and even seemed to receive instructions in Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes. After some moments, the Teacher smiled and proposed to Heian Ciemnosc, “Will you continue? How about you leave a piece of you behind for everything you’re good at?”

“I’ll continue with forging next. I don’t have a forge on me, though. I only have that cauldron with a Conjoint Space Array from my boss.” Heian Ciemnosc elaborated, crossing his arms below his armpits and looking straight into the Teacher’s eyes. The latter shook his head, raised his lips, pressed together, and shook his left palm facing Heian Ciemnosc.

“No worries, I’ll make one with the same version and model as your cauldron. When you make money, you can buy a good one. But don’t waste the cauldron. It is… an ancient item, more for its age than its value. But… with the right hands, it can be evolved. Don’t you think your boss would be impressed with that?” The Teacher said, humping his back a little and putting a ‘good uncle’s’ face and tone in his voice.

“... oh.” Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes widened for a moment. He looked at the Teacher and noticed something in his eyes, more after reacting like that. After agreeing with the Teacher, Heian Ciemnosc saw the Teacher take out some metal plates, some with incomplete cube-like designs, some longer and broader.

“Observe.” After saying that one word, the Teacher began pouring his strange energy all around, demonstrating for the onlookers and those participating who could allow themselves to watch the show. Immediately, clanking noises, followed by the clanking sounds of connecting and adhering to one another .- were heard constantly. Rapidly and effortlessly, a rectangular, ‘fatty’ shape was formed.

Then, the Teacher took out some more materials. A few looked like carbon was directly placed together and compressed with sheer energy. And others were of different colors and nature but had Fire and Water elemental affinity, which Heian Ciemnosc could realize but not about their names. It was once again as if he knew all flora but couldn’t identify their identity, only their most apparent nature, without utilizing Spirit Sense, just his instincts.

Whoosh, shash!

Without lifting a finger, an array formation was inscribed right before Heian Ciemnosc’s shocked, wide opened, and miserably amazed eyes! Because it was not only being created in seconds, there was no pure energy or energy from a cultivator used to inscribe it… It was Spirit Sense alone!!

Besides that, the array formation had a complexity Heian Ciemnosc had never seen before, and he was far incomparable to. The speed at which it was inscribed was seconds, not even 10 seconds, but 5 seconds and was something Heian Ciemnosc couldn’t ever do if he… perhaps… hadn’t come here. Ever.

The array formation was completed, and with it smashing against the ground, the colorful materials along the carbon-like materials were pushed into the middle of the array formation. Its drawn lines and inscriptions were of a light gray blue. It formed a cube, but only the perimeter was visible after it was done and smashed against the dirt ground.

The moment the materials fell into the middle, several designs appeared and engulfed them into the middle, processing them and turning them even tinier as the array formation compressed them and quickly mixed them around like a washing machine but more specifically and as if it had a mind of its own. Like a box munching down those materials, it rotated, went up and down, and slowly became as small as a simple drawer from an ordinary desk.

It all happened in another 10 seconds. Before Heian Ciemnosc could process, he saw the ‘box’ made of light gray blue open again. But instead of ‘spitting’ the result out, it became the result itself. The drawn lines of the array formation became part of whatever was inside as it materialized to the naked eye in the form of that drawer, giving it a luster that wasn’t there before.

Then, with Spirit Sense alone, Heian Ciemnosc saw the ‘drawer’ come to the Teacher, who had already finished the forge’s body and only needed its self-heating mechanism. It was relatively advanced due to its incorporation of technology and cultivation, that much Heian Ciemnosc was aware of, despite looking so simple.

“There you go.” Heian Ciemnosc received the Teacher along with his words, then looked back and saw many of the participants who looked at him shrug their shoulders. It wasn’t that much of an outstanding furnace, but it was advanced. Merely, it was but a tool, and not anything above that, so they didn’t have any negative feelings about this biased action from the Teacher.

Nodding at the Teacher, Heian Ciemnosc turned around, picked up his cauldron, this time with some care thanks to the Teacher’s words, and then set the furnace in a good place before starting to dig again. After 20 minutes of Heian Ciemnosc disappearing into the ground, with a Teacher whose face became helpless, and the mocking words of the crowd, Heian Ciemnosc returned, fully stained with dirt as he was carrying a few ores and stone from the underground with his shirt, baring his shirtless torso to the eyes of the crowd, teachers, and hidden experts.

While some girls had their candy to their eyes, and some fellas jealously and enviously looked at the girls instead, Heian Ciemnosc simply nodded at the Teacher after spitting some sand and began to place a few ores into the furnace to melt them. Then, with the stones, he took 7 parts out of 10 from them and started sculpting. With his fingers alone, not needing his Claws Out, Heian Ciemnosc created a few bowls and a couple molds. He also made a little hammer, which he left incomplete before waiting in front of the furnace.

Psssah! Gurgle, bubble~, squis squash, psssssssss.

After waiting a minute, Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes shone, and he opened the furnace’s lid. Hot steam that literally burnt the grass he was stepping on brushed his face and made some of his hair blowing about. With his hands, like a crazy motherfucker, Heian Ciemnosc scooped the melted liquid from within and brought it out with his left hand into some small bowls again and again.

He placed the bowls on the ground and continued scooping them out from the furnace with his left hand while his right hand put the remaining ores and stones into the furnace’s belly. Once he was done with such ‘savage’ behavior, Heian Ciemnosc closed the lid again and checked the bowls. After doing so, he nodded to himself, cracked his neck, and returned to the underground.

After 14 seconds, he returned, holding 3 huge boulders longer than himself. Heian Ciemnosc quickly put himself to work again, this time with chopping motions from his hands to make a workbench. Then a few security measures in case the bowls were overflown or some material was about to fall. Once he finished them, he got to work in the forging, at last. He took the unfinished little hammer and covered it with the melted liquid.

After covering it with a layer of dark Power Energy, the little hammer became a big mushroom-like hammer, its shaft still small, but its head was rather big. Women’s terror, and some men’s terror, too.

Heian Ciemnosc grinned while he looked at it, held it with his left hand, then began to pour the melted liquid all into one mold with his right hand. At that moment, the Teacher began to take some water out and prepared to lower its temperature with his cultivation base and a skill. But then saw Heian Ciemnosc rush into the distance silently, not bothering anyone else. He went farther than 10 km away, escaping the naked eye.

Half a minute later, Heian Ciemnosc returned holding some bushes and tree branches, all seemingly dry. But as he returned to the workbench, he began squeezing them hard, like a cow’s udders. From them, several litres of water came down and poured it all over one of the security measures. It quickly became a little pool, nothing incredible about it, though.

“!!” The Teacher was a different story, however. Even as the Assistant Teachers and the Sub Teacher didn’t seem to care about it, the Teacher’s mind was wondrous. ‘He went to the little forest? The rain over there is always warm, but when drying up in those trees’ leaves and bushes, the strong Wind and Water elements within the land makes them ice cold.’.

Just as the Teacher was amazed, so were the hidden experts who couldn’t fathom if Heian Ciemnosc had such improbable senses. Because if he had, it was not a wonder why this teenager was taking so much of their attention from other participants. Even as the latter began to do ‘better’ after the teenager’s incense began working its magic on them.

Tapa tank clank clank clink claaank~.

Heian Ciemnosc, on the other hand, wasn’t amazed as he just felt like the smell of humidity from a particular direction was comfortable enough, almost like his skin and whole body’s temperature at one’s hand touch. Having decided on such water for his forging, he poured it on the safety measure before emptying it slightly onto the mold. And now, as he hammered it, Heian Ciemnosc was having fun so much he almost broke the hammer, the mold, the toughening liquid, and the stone workbench under them.

After toughening, reshaping, and elongating for hammering enough, he took it with his unprotected right hand from the ‘handle’ and out of the mold. Afterwards, he walked to the safety measure. Without a second thought Heian Ciemnosc poured it into the little pool of fresh cold water. The tiny affinity of Water and Wind elemental particles within it started to seep into it.

Splashh, whiiiiiistle.

As soon as Heian Ciemnosc pulled it from the water, a whistling noise surrounded the handle, from which Heian Ciemnosc let it be heard. If the show from earlier inspired the participants. Then they were even more inspired after seeing the work of Elemental affinity, even though it seemed tiny compared to what a real weapon with Elemental affinity would be like.

Heian Ciemnosc held a handle that was pretty large for a dagger and too damn short for a polearm. It was either a long sword, great sword, or large saber. Its handle was generally steel-black, and after looking at it without expression, inquisitive tilting his head. He dropped it on the stone workbench to the side and went to open the furnace’s lid. Right after opening it, he returned to the cleaner workbench and began hammering the handle more from all sides. At this point, it would either toughen to higher degrees than it should or, more likely, break apart.

Clank clank claank clank clank clink clank… Ssshhiii- psssss, gurgle gurgle bubble… PSSS…

Some minutes later, after hammering it, Heian Ciemnosc went to the opened furnace and did the same to scoop the melted liquid out of it with his hands and poured it separately into the bowls. Each is for a different purpose, but not necessarily of diverse materials. They had the same type of materials, only their concentration was different. And Heian Ciemnosc efficiently separated them however he wanted within his eye measurement only.

Once he filled up the bowls, he brought them to the workbench he worked on before. Quickly, he poured the bowls precisely how he wanted to, in the order and sections of the mold he chose. And as if by the art of magic, but nothing more other than science, the melted liquid didn’t mix and continued to remain separated without him needing to make a move with his dark Power Energy or through some tools he made just in case.

Heian Ciemnosc was showing them; not the crowd, not the Sub Teachers and their Assistant Teacher, but the Teacher and the hidden examinators watching over them. The difference between the lake of Spirit Sense dancing about and nervously, trying to make each of their moves perfect, and his… solely using his body and knowledge to create a significant weapon like an ordinary person would!

CLANK, clank clank clank clink clank clank clank clank…

The mold didn’t last long in its place before Heian Ciemnosc took it to the other workbench and started hammering it down. The strange thing was, with the previous hammering and Heian Ciemnosc not washing it because he simply did not want to. The big mushroom-headed little hammer was actually… letting tiny particles and dust from the shaft’s structure fall onto the melted liquid in the mold.

Those particles incorporated into the melted liquid, changing the concentration of everything as every section and part of the mold filled with melted liquid, which used to separate itself stubbornly. To mix together with twirls wherever they used to separate themselves from each other.

Splasshh- pssssssss!

When that began to happen. Heian Ciemnosc instantly brought it to the other workbench’s safety measure, where he plunged it into the water. A severe blast of steaming hot water droplets burst everywhere, lots landing on his bare torso and face. But it did nothing to even his pants, let alone his formidable skin and resistant skin. On the other hand, the ice cold fresh water was ‘swallowed’ by the blade at a rapid swiftness to the naked eye.
