Chapter 135 — Go!

Chapter 135 — Go!

Go!

Step, step, step, step...!

Sometimes, when one wishes for a thing, the whole other, opposite and contrary result would happen. And it just so happened that as Ciemnosc was making his way down the stairs, at some point, he felt the presence, very detailedly, of someone who was busy building up something. This person was looking at the entrance of the basement not in an alarmed but in an expectant way.

"Eh, Teacher Apegos, is it done already?" Enaro said as he heard the footsteps coming down the stairs. He immediately turned his body fully to the place where a column from a spot for training in arrays was and heavily focused on getting back to constructing the thingie. It wasn't really difficult, but creating these types of training devices would put to the test one's basic foundational knowledge. He then added, “Is that Ciemnosc done for, Teacher?”

Not knowing really why, Ciemnosc smiled hearing those words and especially that last phrase which contained a soft and appreciative tone, both because of ‘being’ Enaro’s teacher and because of killing Ciemnosc for Enaro. Of course, it was Enaro the only one who didn’t know of the situation surrounding him at these moments, nor that he was talking to the devil.

“Oh, that?” Ciemnosc commented on Enaro’s work. The moment he did, Enaro flinched and began to shake crazily for a few seconds. Not only because of Ciemnosc being alive, but because according to that distant explosion from before, Enaro’s Teacher at least did try to kill Ciemnosc… But only Ciemnosc was around while his Teacher was nowhere to be seen.

“It isn’t bad and it is correct, but that is in Apegos’s terms. His nefarious skill at creating the most simple things, just because he wants them all to have his ‘mark’, is always malfunctioning in one way or another. That is why there are many times that ‘our’ sect has lost quite a few battles in the last 10 years, really, one just needs to read the public reports and know what kind of shittery he does to his creations all of the time.”

“!...” Enaro heard Ciemnosc’s words, explanations, his speech. But as soon as he turned around to face Ciemnosc, he immediately went right to the important matter at hand not going around any bushes. “Ciemnosc, please!! Please don’t hurt me, I didn’t know that Teacher was this kind of person, just a few nights with my Master and he did all that, but please! I had nothing to do with it!”

“...” Though Ciemnosc was surprised to know the reason for elder Apegos’s scent being somewhat differing from before, as foul as before of course, he remained all too impassive and indifferent as he now had a disgusted face looking down at the still seated Enaro.

“You…” But suddenly, gaining strength and bravery from somewhere, Enaro stood up at last. Twisting his body to face Ciemnosc as he stood up and walked 3 semi long steps towards Ciemnosc, Enaro then said with his voice gaining a type of boastful confidence.

“You can’t kill me, Ciemnosc! And judging by the hurry of your steps when coming down the stairs, you can barely hold yourself from rushing all around, you have no time to waste here so you can’t cripple me!!”

But although Enaro himself felt that he was going too far, just like a non-productive businessman or businesswoman, he greedily went on without stopping right after. “But listen to me Ciemnosc, listen to me! I- if you don’t hurt me, I’ll tell Master to let you go, to give you m- more time to escape! To convince the other to waste an-”

“Your ‘master’ is the sect’s upper echelon’s whore, going from house to house, from residence to residence, and even up to the grand ancestor’s free use when she is found alone with any other of the firsts at command. You call that ‘convincing’? How many nights have you spent with her? I wonder if she has gotten inside your ass already. Ey, how many toys did sh-”

“Shut up!!!” Surprisingly, when going up to a certain part in his words, Enaro interrupted Ciemnosc with a very damn loud shout, which made Ciemnosc raise his eyebrows without any actual expression capable of being read on his face. Then, Enaro’s eyes were already wide relaxed but remained full, and as they glinted, he said…

“You, how do you kn-” Enaro’s voice became timid and even acquiescing. But in the next pair of seconds, all he got in response was being manhandled by Ciemnosc’s brutal strength. His shoulders were grabbed momentarily before suddenly being turned upside down in the air. The next thing was, Ciemnosc impaled his head on the floor, which Enaro protected with his Power Energy at the Spirit Gathering ream 9th stage.

Bam- crrrck…!

“Not bad, you are somehow getting a high cultivation base. This speed is somewhat as good as mine, but… Your cultivation base is shaky and it seems you have relied on too many pills and raw herbs and used energy gathering arrays too much. You could implode if you continue to cultivate like this.” Ciemnosc commented while looking down at Enaro’s body being buried up to his shoulders on the floor.

“Mffhh, menu, mmhgff…”

All that Ciemnosc received in response were muffled sounds coming from Enaro’s buried head, his body squirming a little. Ciemnosc watched and enjoyed the little show a bit more before taking his right hand and slowly raising it up towards Enaro’s soles, “Well, you guessed it yourself. Since I’m short of time, let’s deal with your property, aight?”

…phhshk, crreeshhk crreeshhk crreeshhk… …phhshk, crreeshhk crreeshhk…

“Aaaammfmf… Fmfmfmaaaaaaaaaah!” Ciemnosc started slowly, first with just his right hand entering the sole of Enaro’s right foot from its sole, then making its way slowly and relaxingly up towards his shin. The bones it touched needed a bit of grinding, as the Power Energy protecting them was still insistent on protecting those bones. Hence Ciemnosc took a few minutes before managing to reach the knee.

Once getting into the knee, as bones crumbled to the passing of his right claw-like feral hand, Ciemnosc had suddenly pulled off the entire thigh, leaving an empty-growling Enaro shaking even more crazily at the lack of pain but also to the sensation of voidness at his whole right leg!

Yet, it didn’t end there, as Ciemnosc then used the same right hand to enter the sole of Enaro’s left foot. The same thing happened, with his left thigh being yanked off his body in the next few minutes, as Enaro had less conscience and less Power Energy to protect himself.

Only a set of certain things remained untouched and dangling down towards Enaro’s own pelvis and, because of the lack of mass around them, towards his own ass as well. Ciemnosc looked on a bit, cutely at the thing that was quite small. Even the pair of bros hanging around his ass was tiny, awww. But after a few more pitiful looks at the poor little, young ones, Ciemnosc took his feral claw-like right hand and began cutting them off one by one until even Enaro’s buttcheeks were all gone and half his pelvis showed and remained.

By the time Ciemnosc finished sculpting this fine piece of cruel art, too much blood had flooded the floor 1 meter around them, with small chunks of flesh that were badly mutilating as well as tiny thin pieces of bones littering around Ciemnosc’s artistic sculpture.

Though one, as a cultivator, could no longer have to eat nor sleep for several days even when just becoming a Spiritual Ligament realm cultivator, losing blood for them was the same as losing one’s Power Energy. But unlike the latter, the former doesn’t regenerate at all. If such things could happen, then there wouldn’t be a need for pills that help restore a bit of blood, enough to keep one awake or even up to fighting.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

There wasn’t even a pill that could help recuperate one’s lost hair or appearance, let alone flesh, severed or destroyed limbs. And though Enaro had a high cultivation base now, even a Spirit Gathering realm 8th stage might be able to win against him as long as the other party wasn’t pessimistic and gave up on the fight from the gecko.

As such, Enaro was already half dead by the time Ciemnosc finished sculpting his body in a rather literal way indeed. And then, Ciemnosc simply walked around, perfectly moving and seemingly knowing where every little stuff was. While Enaro could only feel as if his head was bamboozled and was ringing like crazy nonstop.

He was lucky to already be bleeding out, or else all that blood slowly getting into his head while being paralyzed to move without anything holding his body in place, only his head having been traumatized and his lower body gone with his arms somewhat locked in the floor.

In any case, Enaro was already dead, and as Ciemnosc walked around, picking up things in his Covert Space bags and even taking out 5 other successfully made Covert Space bags for himself as he had let his commanders keep the others that were the loot from that one battle.

Now, he had 8 Cover Space bags for his main thingies, while 5 others were for his currency, which after going around Apegos’s hidden storages, hella increased as well. Going from a bit over 100,000 Inferior grade Powerful Stones to almost 900,000 of such. And he also found another 40 Supreme grade Powerful Stones within the previous ones, for a total of 211 Supreme Powerful Stones now in his hands.

As for his top notch quality swords and blades, Ciemnosc still had over 130 of those, and his 11 Mortal grade swords were still there, ready to be bathed and reeked in blood, flesh, and whatnot.

In the end, Ciemnosc also took all of the materials basically made for the creation of Mortal grade weapons into his pockets, as well as some herbs, plants, extra books, and a few strange materials that weren’t yet known to Ciemnosc but that looked pretty. All in all, Ciemnosc took everything and left nothing to be seen in those hidden storages, even letting them open for any future visitor to see through them.

And that would become a crazy sigh, as it was as if holes all around the basement had been suddenly carved out, reeking of either medicinal properties or energy, pure energy as well as some others of metal and strange metallic scents.

Step, step, step… creak~... whoosh…

But for that matter, Ciemnosc wouldn’t be able to care, as less than 15 minutes after arriving at the mountain-rock building, being betrayed by his previous teacher, and having had his fun sculpting Enaro’s body, Ciemnosc was already out and moving towards the west of the sect’s territory. Everyone was to find out he wasn’t around the west but on the north of the sect’s territory, and he then had to prepare for using such an opportunity to break through…

…trrrckrrr~... Thud, step step step step step step step…

“It’s op- what the- bluaaaarruuggh!” - “Holy sh- kgreuuughh-” - “BLUAARRGGHH…” - “Auwghhf, auw, afgghk! So- someone goes tell the rest, Ciemnosc definitely came over here and- BLUWAAARRGHHH…” - “Elder Apegos… Elder Apegos is dead! Shit, this is bad, really damn- fucking bad! BUWAAARRGGH…”

A couple of patrolling teams arrived 15 minutes after he himself had already left. They were walking towards the door of the mountain-rock building, not realizing what could that rosy, rotten-dark fleshy thing on the ground be. But when they got close enough to really see what it was all about, they were struck dumb before beginning to bend their backs and holding their tummies to puke out heavy loads of their everything.

When seeing the flies around the quickly rotting meat, and then an eye to its side not far away with a few thread-thin worms coming out from it and devouring half the iris of the eyes, the smell of it all finally reached their senses, and they even began convulsing.

When there was an order to notify the higher-ups, several members of both patrolling teams directly went back to their cars and hid in them until the scent and even flavor of what they saw disappeared from their minds and bodies. Still, they remained in the car even after notifying their higher-ups and being told to surround the area before more patrolling teams arrived. They were all of the Spirit Gathering realm cultivators anyways, and there was nothing to be feared, right?

Tick, step step step step… … …step step step step!

“Shit! Someone go tell the bosses, there is no one here, Enaro’s corpse was also found in the basement, and… and… There’s nothing else around! Those storages are all completely emptied out… shit!”

Suddenly seeing someone running up the stairs and then out of the mountain-rock building, the other patrols were about to engage. But seeing it was their fellow patrol’s face and his voice, they stopped. Then, hearing his words, everyone around became pale, and someone even said, “Sect master will b-”

“Shhh! Shut up, shut the fuck up, and look around everywhere!” One of the patrolling team’s leaders said, shutting everyone the hell up before coming closer to them and revealing a few sacks… “Take one each, these seem unfinished, but they are good anyways. Don’t put too many things in there. These break easily, and don’t tell anyone!”

. . .

The northwestern side of the sect’s territory, close to the intersecting road and sidewalk leading to the actual and official west side of the sect’s territory.

Step, step, step, step, step, step…

Ciemnosc was now moving with his two feet on the ground, outside walls and rooftops of the buildings, one after another, and using his incredibly 80 meters large range of his Spirit Sense’s detecting. He was very careful, only taking a step several seconds later and even up to a few minutes. Leading to him finding out many little parties of patrols and onlookers walking around, avoiding revealing himself to their eyes from far away.

That was the reason he even took minutes to make another step sometimes. Several patrols were rushing around as well, all to cover the overall northern side of the sect’s territory, planning to surround it and make a blockade; even on the outskirts of the walls, just in case.

However, as it was indeed a rapid response and these patrols were quick, they were actually all moving towards the north. While Ciemnosc was taking detours from the north towards the west and was not beginning to reach the western side of the sect’s territory. In such a way, the more Ciemnosc took to arrive at his initial destination, the fewer patrols and patrolling teams were around the west.

… …boom… …poom… …KANG… … …Pom pum pam pam- BOOM… …

‘Ugh, are they still at it? What’s going on?’ When Ciemnosc escaped at first from the stadium, whereas everyone else thought he was moving towards the western gate, already packed with patrols and even the weakest of acting elders, Ciemnosc could still hear many huge fighting sounds happening on his back as he was making his way towards the northern side.

Not knowing why, nor having an idea about it, Ciemnosc could only think that he had somehow confused his pursuers and made them fight each other or something. He was also surprised at how easy it was for him to have escaped so fast from the hands of the quickly growing restless Obsidiafying realm cultivators. But he wouldn’t look back just to check.

“!... Wow.” But now that he had to even wait for several seconds to minutes long before moving, and with how incredibly large the stadiums were, he could see how in the westernmost stadium of the sect’s territory, from the floor he had escaped before, ice-covered it all. From the first time he saw it to the umpteenth time after almost reaching the west, Ciemnosc could still feel himself admiring the sight, somehow and somewhat…getting inspired as well…

As Ciemnosc came closer and closer to the western side, he also began to notice and sense fewer and fewer patrolling teams and patrols, naturally being able to walk several times quicker than before until he was finally no longer forced to remain on the same stop for seconds and could even walk; but slowly.

From hanging off some balconies, tiles sticking out from the perimeter of their buildings at the rooftops, and even from some cables and cords here and there, to using his Claws Out to practically adhere himself to the walls and move around as if he was on the right side of gravity and not laterally walking on the outside walls of every building.

POOM, bam bam, puam! Poom, bam- bam- bam- bam- bam- tshhhhiaaah~...

At last, Ciemnosc could see the stadium rather up close and the western gate while still a few dozen of kilometers away from his current position. While louder and more constant sounds came from the stadium itself, he slid down from the rooftop, using his hands’ nails to slowly slide down, making obvious marks down the building’s walls. But who would goddamn care when they are already running away?

Step step.

After a few more seconds of slowly sliding and with his always inexhaustible Spirit Sense remaining alert at all times, checking every single little angle at all times and without getting lazy or careless for a single moment. Ciemnosc had a stern face as he landed on the ground, then he slowly turned around before once more returning to face both the stadium and the western gate.

“...” Looking up ahead, Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes looked to be clear with some of the sunlight finally landing on his face after so much time in the daylight shadows of the sect’s territory.

Step step step step step step step. Patt.

From Ciemnosc’s back, someone came and patted his left shoulder before standing shoulder to shoulder with him, then said with a low voice as he also looked at the stadium and the western gate. “Let’s get you out of here, Ciemnosc.”

As Taldes said so, Ciemnosc turned his head to look at Taldes with a regular speed, his back a bit bent, and as he looked to his left, said, “Did grand el- Gramma Jing Zhu send you?”
