Chapter 836 — 110 Years Of Peace

110 Years Of Peace

The return of more than 25 million soldier units, and about 40 million auxiliary units, would have taken a long time if the Small Fleets hadn't suddenly disappeared. However, no enemy cared since 24 years ago. Thus, they returned with extra large vessels traveling from the Vrida Region to the 3* Region. The 3* Region's organizations didn't have a chance to stop this. They had already backed away by a lot, planning to return after a sabbatical year. How could everyone not know what it feels to lose tens of millions of troops in just a year and 2 months? It was excruciating!

Although there were some warships that chased them, and the Forbloffende Traes Sect retreated to their abandoned Region without saying a thing, the enemy didn’t really engage. Their warships returned after a while, no longer bothering to provoke or actually fire at the retreating Shadows. The battle zone… was truly over.

This left the 3* Region, which had many more First Step organizations and forces to invite to the battle zone, desolate without their opportunity to take revenge over these 24 years. Additionally, the 3* Region received no word from the Forbloffende Traes Sect.

Of course, they wouldn’t. The Forbloffende Traes Sect had nothing to say to this 3* Region. They came to prove themselves, not to bend their knee and bow their heads. What was done was done. It was time to return, which only meant one thing. The Forbloffende Traes Sect had successfully transitioned to the Second Step.

This could already be suspected. During the last couple of years, the Sect has sent newer and newer Spirit Rebirth realm cultivators out. Furthermore, the realms in the Second Step the Sect proposed a duel at had increased to the Spirit Magna realm, which is where Todoro and Olivia had challenged enemies with the same cultivation base… and, of course, won.

However, finally seeing the Shadows retreat, it became more obvious. Now, the 3* Region could only let things go as they returned to their home. But an existing conflict, and even hate, between both sides had already been formed.

The Vrida Region welcomed the troops back. There was a celebration that lasted 20 days, exhausting the cultivators, let alone the civilians who prepared everything. However, before all of that transpired, the central cottage was visited by Olivia.

Knock, knock… step, thud. Step, step.

After knocking, Olivia lowered her head, blushed, and stepped into the cottage. After closing the door, she immediately let her clothes fall from her skin. It had been 14 long days without her Master’s visits, and she wanted to start conversing about life already.

She walked to his bedroom, where Heian Ciemnosc sat cross-legged and just opened his darkest eyes to look at her amazingly nude body. She posed there like a dainty lady, definitely not the sexual deviant that’d go all-out on him when together in private. Still, like always, his disciple blushed as she waited for his command.

“Ah! Master, did you breakthrough?” Olivia suddenly exclaimed, breaking her silence as her right hand cutely held her left wrist behind her back. Her eyes widened, showcasing the tremendous beauty that a fine, perfect, young woman should have.

“Oh,” Heian Ciemnosc hummed before nodding. Olivia smiled, noticing Heian Ciemnosc’s difference from before with her nature reading. She didn’t wait anymore and walked to him, straddling his clothed body and hugging his neck. Her breasts were already impossible to ignore from kilometers away, let alone right in front of his face.

Seeing the adoration in her man’s eyes, Olivia smiled with mirth before swaying her torso left and right as his mouth tried to catch either large eraser. Then, as she thought of something, a sudden idea that formed during one of their talks, Sara’s courtesy unbeknownst to her. Olivia smiled and tenderly whispered in Heian Ciemnosc’s left ear.

“Daddy…”

“!” Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes widened. He no longer cared about his recent breakthrough into the High Dark God. His Spirit Sense extending to ¼ of a Universal Land, and his slight progress towards the [All-Devouring Force Chronicles] 9th level. He immediately grabbed Olivia’s waist and turned their positions around, slamming her against the bed while thinking in his head. ‘Sara, I warned you! I’ll deal with you later. First… this girl… grrr!’

Sara watched with guilt, kinky but guilty, hidden in his inner universe. Olivia smiled and kept calling Heian Ciemnosc that way. She was sweet and arousing. Definitely forgetting she has a living and breathing father. Heian Ciemnosc planned to restore her morals, but he wouldn’t throw it away without enjoying it first.

Sara placed her wrists behind her head and laid back. She spread her legs like it was her penetrating a wild Olivia instead, whose entire head and neck flushed, with part of her amazing breasts also colored red. Heian Ciemnosc’s movements made Olivia jump back and forth as she salivated and began speaking incoherently. Of course, she still sweetly ‘daddy-ed’ Heian Ciemnosc nonstop.

‘Dammit! Now it does look like I’m trying to steal someone’s daughter!’ Heian Ciemnosc furiously fucked his disciple as he began pulling Sara’s machinations away from his dear future Vice sect master.

. . .

3 hours later.

After meditating together for an hour, naked but with decency this time, Heian Ciemnosc and Olivia Clark met with the Forbloffende Traes Sect’s brand-new hierarchy. It wasn’t that the old were replaced. Instead, it was that the Sect’s progress through these years had become never seen before in any First Step organization or force.

Just the number of Dantreulity realm cultivators acting as temporary Grand Ancestors was a dozen hundred cultivators. The rest were simply too many and absurd. Either way, the ones who were guaranteed a Grand Ancestor position as the Sect continued to advance weren’t these, but those in the Hana-Saga realm, which is about a hundred people, including Saon and Pretieta Gori, Liliam, and Hexitia.

They were grouped before the central cottage. Although there was no notice, the Sect’s people have been watching whatever happened in the Sect Master’s quarters during these 3 weeks. Now that something happened, and the highest hierarchy was reunited, the word was spread quickly. Under no time at all, the central cottage became the congregation point of half a million people, with a fourth belonging to Shadow troops.

However, the highest hierarchy group ignored them for now and discussed among themselves. Currently, they were heatedly exchanging thoughts on the incoming inner territory reconstruction. The Vrida Region had gone through its rebuilding phase long ago. Now that the Forbloffende Traes Sect became a Second Step organization, a full-fledged one, it was its inner territory’s turn.

“That will be all for the inner territory’s matters,” Heian Ciemnosc interjected. The slight sound of voices was silenced. Olivia Clark stepped forth from standing beside the Sect Master and turned around to face him. The steel, strict, and warrior instinct in her eyes showed before the official Grand Ancestors follower her actions and stood before him.

Of all the Grand Ancestors, Pretieta Gori, Todoro Kalavera, Liliam, and Hexitia stood on Olivia’s sides. They looked at their Sect Master before Olivia bowed. Yet, her bow rapidly turned into prostration, as she delivered the utmost respect to her Master. Just as Heian Ciemnosc watched his disciple’s filial piety, making him feel silly yet honored at the same time, the others also followed these actions of hers.

“Sect Master!” - “Sect Master!” - “Sect Master!” - “Sect Master!”

After they called out to Heian Ciemnosc, the highest hierarchy before Heian Ciemnosc proceeded to do the same. They bowed, prostrated, and called him out like chanting a scripture. When even the civilians repeated this action and looked like they could wait for hours like this, Heian Ciemnosc’s widened darkest eyes gradually relaxed.

“At ease,” he called out calmly. The people slowly stood up after giving him a look to see him first. The sensation was weird as Heian Ciemnosc pondered on it while everyone got to their feet and faced him, awaiting his words.

‘I’ve taken 182 years to break into the High Dark God. The future breakthroughs will only last more and more. Olivia will even catch up to me. But she’ll be able to help me cultivate if so.’ Heian Ciemnosc’s growth couldn’t be any faster, but if an ordinary person was given the same chances as Heian Ciemnosc, with much fewer requirements to breakthrough, they might have already become Atmosphere Gods or higher.

“For 182 years,” Heian Ciemnosc suddenly voiced. The already semi-silent surroundings throughout the central cottage were filled with people. Each of them kept quiet and let one sole person speak. It could be said this was the first time the Sect had so much interaction with their acclaimed Sect Master.

“The Forbloffende Traes Sect has existed. It has seen the poorest state of a trying Sect. But now, look… Look at you, everyone, and everywhere around you now. This is nothing that First Step organizations can easily accomplish. Our home, this inner territory, has welcomed the lives of many and the deaths of less, but still many.”

“Before I speak of our future regarding our lives and triumphs, I will first speak to the future of our dead.” Heian Ciemnosc’s words rose in the air as 3 tombstones silently surged from his left. They already had words inscribed on them, seemingly by a rough tool, judging by the unreadable writing.

If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

“Every soldier unit of my Sect has to be remembered. Every auxiliary member who falls doing their duty, exposing themselves to the stronger enemy, deserve to accompany the soldier units. Those who fell during these past 24 years, and the Region war to bring the Vrida Region to where it belongs, now. Will forever be etched into our writings.”

The people saw the tombstones could be accessed with one’s Spirit Sense. However, those who had family members in the Sect and perished in any of those 2 events felt a calling from the only tombstone with names inscribed on it. Then, they saw a face, or various… each belonging to their close loved ones.

Meanwhile, the cultivators could use their Spirit Sense to travel through the tombstone’s inscribing and check anyone’s information. Be it from those they knew, or a name they quickly passed through, they could see their faces and accomplishment before their perfectly marked, universal death.

Only Heian Ciemnosc knew how brutally meaningful this was. Such that even if it was destroyed, as long as the will of the people and the Forbloffende Traes Sect remain, nothing will be destroyed. Either way, Heian Ciemnosc pointed at the tree before loudly saying, “This is our Sect’s core. Our most valuable treasure! The Mythical Tree of Evolution!”

Gaaaaaasp! Clamooooor~! Murmur…

The crowd reacted, becoming astounded at the official name of their humongous tree, which had grown again even during these 24 years. In fact, it only stopped after the Sect officially became a full-fledged Second Step organization.

“And this place for our dead to be remembered and waited upon will be the Sect’s and Vrida Region’s Memory Tomb. From now on, it will always lay in front of our Sect’s core, where the Forbloffende Traes Sect’s heart lies.” Heian Ciemnosc gestured to the 3 tombstones as Olivia’s stare became intense on the tombstones.

“To celebrate its inauguration, I’d beg for moments of silence,” Heian Ciemnosc softly said as his voice traveled everywhere. The crowd would have fallen more silent from their bewilderment of the words the Sect Master spoke if they could. Everyone expressed their silence differently, directed at their fallen. Some closed their eyes before opening them, of which some kept them close. Others knelt and ‘spoke’ to their loved ones, while others did so more stoically.

Whoever it was, they had their way of grieving.

“From now on.” After enough time, Heian Ciemnosc spoke. His loud voice woke everyone from the eerily calm and soothing silence. Their eyes opened, and they were listening. “The Sect will contact more with the outside world. The Universal Conveyances and their trade will become more accessible with the resources the Sect now gathers.”

“The Sect’s rules haven’t changed. Should anyone wish to try them, you will also experience their punishment.” Heian Ciemnosc momentarily paused before resuming, his calm voice was everywhere in the inner territory. “The Sect’s positions will be known in the future as our hierarchy keeps advancing, paving the way for the new hierarchy from our disciples, as they pave the way for our newest members.”

“Furthermore!” Heian Ciemnosc suddenly exclaimed loudly, increasing the slight tension between the listeners. “Our Forbloffende Traes Sect’s inner territory will expand, but so will its forces. Starting from today, Frigates and even Destroyers will be the cornerstone of our Vrida Region, our home, greatest protection.”

“From now on!” Heian Ciemnosc continued, elevating his voice even more. “The Sect will create its special forces, of which those with the following requirements can join them!”

“The Eternal Forces will belong to those soldier units and officials who excel in Spirit Sense from the [Chronicles of Life & Death]. They will be the most widely recognized special force of our Forbloffende Traes Sect!”

“The Disastrous Guards will belong to those soldier units and officials who excel in Body Tempering from the [Chronicles of Life & Death]. Their tasks might be similar to the Eternal Forces most of the time, but they are the backbone of every military unit and battle. During war, they will be the Sect’s most beloved protectors!”

“Finally, the Keepers of the Shadow!” Heian Ciemnosc shouted with even more volume, causing the inner territory’s ground and floor to rumble, harming no one in the process. “They will belong to those who excel in Soul from the [Chronicles of Life & Death]. The Sect’s most important factor for our every major move and to defend against such puny methods like the 3* Region utilized during those last 8 years at the battle zone.”

“YEAAAAH!” - “That’s right! That’s what we needed!” - “Uuugh! Just remembering those motherfuckers… aaagh!”

Throughout his speech, Heian Ciemnosc had been calm. It wasn’t different as he elevated his voice’s volume and down to now. As the crowd reacted, he let it be before slowly rising his right arm forwards. The crowd gradually hushed before it all became silent again.

“I now declare the Forbloffende Traes Sect as closed to recruiting new members. We will now consolidate our current members until it is as solid as it was before the 24 years in the battle zone commenced.” Heian Ciemnosc paused for 2 seconds before softly adding, “With this year’s process, we’ll amount 25 million soldier units, 48 million auxiliary units, of which 30 million are citizens, and 8 million engineers.”

“It isn’t enough to start building Fleets from our already created Small Fleets, but this solidification won’t last long. Until then, our numbers will remain thin, and our people will increase their cultivation base massively. This is to be expected, as all of you will become… the true first generation of the Forbloffende Traes Sect.” Heian Ciemnosc sternly stared at them before continuing. His voice became colder than before.

“You’ve learned for a long time. It has been slow and lacking from the military college’s part, among other things. Now, it is your turn to teach those experiences and understandings. Now, it is on your hands to bring about such Servants and disciples, not one of them lesser than the best of you now. Now… I can leave the Sect’s daily livelihood in its people’s hands.”

Heian Ciemnosc spread his arms, as if granting them an embrace. However, he really felt like that. As for the crowd, even those who were resting or dozing off in someone else’s bed in the inner territory felt like they were in the dearest embraces the world could offer. Then, as Heian Ciemnosc let them have enough to process the heavy meaning of his words, the crowd felt their blood heating and their hearts beating.

“Our Sect is now known throughout that Region. I can even swear we are a little recognized by the other Regions in this core zone. However, while they have always been like this: high, mighty, and petulant towards our home. This is only our beginning. We haven’t even started our first step towards our recognition being spread throughout the Divine Kingdom. Do you…”

Heian Ciemnosc suddenly halted his words, leaving everyone on the edge of their meaning. They could only stare at their Sect Master, waiting and waiting… until he finally asked it.

“Do you understand me?”

“We do, Sect Master!!!” The central cottage’s surroundings clamored loudly, louder than ever. The inner territory seemed greatly affected like beaten drums, as if there was a giant underneath hitting its foundation with palms. This echoed for a few seconds until the rumbling ceased and the cottage’s surroundings became festive.

“…” - “…” Heian Ciemnosc exchanged a glance with Olivia, who looked at him tenderly with endless adoration. Then, pride took her eyes as she smiled at him before joining her fellow Grand Ancestors. It was time to celebrate. This time for real. The Forbloffende Traes Sect was finally an ‘existent’ thing in the eyes of even the bored core Regions’ experts. And as the Sect Master said, this was just the beginning, wasn’t it?

. . .

Indeed, 110 years passed with peace reigning supreme in the Vrida Region. Peace between this island, no longer so unknown and abandoned Region, and the other shore 3* Regions.

A coincidence transpired after the initial 24 years, no matter how unrealistic and comical it became to the Forbloffende Traes Sect: it finally opened its gates for new recruits. At last, the beloved Sect that only completed missions and gave small lectures to cultivator groups that couldn’t join the Sect during the isolation period, officially became warm and welcoming after 2 dozen years of ignoring its people.

On the first day of the 856th year, 1st month, and 1st week, nearly 4 million new cultivator Servants, 6 million citizens, and 800,000 engineers were recruited throughout the rest of the month. The accumulated number of people wanting to join wasn’t as exaggerated as it was during the 8 sinister years. However, it was a brand-new welcome that surpassed the influx of any month prior to the 856th year of the Change.

The following Sect positions were distributed as follows: the Servants were those who recently entered the Sect. They must spend at least a year in this position. But the most drastic change were the requirements to become an Outer Disciple from a Servant. One is a Servant up to the Broken Crystallization realm, before attaining their Neutral Energy.

They are given free lodging and food, but their monthly payment is of 80 silver coins, with an additional 10 gold coins, and 10 Inferior Powerful or Neutral Stones. When turning 80 years in the Sect, their monthly rent of their stay in the Servant Quarters remains 20 silver or gold coins.

To become an Outer Disciple, one must break into the Neutrality realm and attain their Neutral Energy, and the Neutral Encephalon realm. They still must achieve peak Craftsmaking in 1 profession, although it was now only valid as a Second Step Craftsmaking profession… Their payment was increased to 100 Inferior Neutral Stones, but their monthly rent to 80 gold coins.

To become an Inner Disciple, one must break into the Dantreulity realm, with the same Craftsmaking requirements as an Outer Disciple. Their monthly payment is 1,000 Inferior Neutral Stones, but their rent increased to 600 gold coins.

To become a Core Disciple, one must become a Hana-Saga realm cultivator, with still only 1 peak profession at the Second Step. Their monthly pay is 1 Supreme Neutral Stone, while their monthly rent is of 1,000 gold coins per month.

There were many more Core Disciples than Inner Disciples, and more Inner Disciples than Outer Disciples because of the marvelous growth during the 24 years of isolation. Now that the Sect opened its yearly gates again, that would change. But for now, that was how the disciples in the Forbloffende Traes Sect were distributed.

Spirit Magna realm Core Disciples with 1 peak Second Step Craftsmaking profession and another mastered can become Acting Elders. While Blossoming realm Acting Elders with 2 peak Second Step Craftsmaking professions can become Elders of the Forbloffende Traes Sect.

A Heaven-Breaking realm Elder with 3 peak Second Step Craftsmaking professions can become an Ancestor. Subsequently, a Soul Spirit realm Ancestor with 4 peak Second Step Craftsmaking professions can become a Grand Elder.

Thus, a Grand Elder at either the Soul Spirit realm or Breaking Point realm and 5 peak Second Step Craftsmaking professions can become a Grand Ancestor. As a matter of fact, a third of the Grand Ancestors were at the Soul spirit realm. This was to show the Sect’s successful centralization of Craftsmaking.

The Forbloffende Traes Sect could put to shame any trade-focused or well-versed organization. Of course, that was exactly one of the most important reasons why the Sect was so open and didn’t force its members to make Mortal and Earth weapons for the Sect, but rewarded them if they did.

Every time someone confirmed a transaction with another fellow member, a tiny part would go to the Sect’s treasury. On the other hand, they could directly sell Mortal weapons for gold coins and Earth weapons or pieces of armor for merit points.

This was for everyone, and it greatly helped the hierarchy to exchange their Supreme Neutral Stones to assign up to hundreds of missions per Stone, or even request weaponry or a piece of armor from the Sect Master. This caused a smooth flow to occur within the Sect members’ economy, but for even more riches to fill the treasury back up, whence they came from.
