Chapter 808 — The Organizations And Forbloffende Traes Sect's Military System

The Organizations And Forbloffende Traes Sect's Military System

Todoro Kalavera was a young man in his sixteens who traveled the Vrida Region after her mother perished, old and contented to at least see past her son's first ten years. Father unknown, he left his settlement in the eastern forest. He had traveled for 3 years since then. His first attempt was at the brand-new organization in the small western territory. As fate had it, he was incapable of joining it.

It’s been 7 years since he started cultivating, but he remained stuck in the Spiritual Ligament 10th stage. When he arrived at the new organization a few months after he departed from his forest settlement, the organization gave him an ample rejection after knowing this. It didn’t matter that Todoro had more potential than the regular person, and that his attitude was commendable.

Being slow at cultivation wasn’t an excuse, but a blatant sign of not being born to become a cultivator, to tread the cultivation world. Yet, this good-seed citizen had wasted himself for a dream of many. It wasn’t a new sight to behold in the world, so Todoro was sent away with little to no fucks given.

What was a kid who promised their dying mother they’d be the best cultivator in the world if not stubborn? In a fit of rage, Todoro marched to the largest territory, not even bothering to try the other, older organization in the small western territory.

Believing the new organization didn’t know what’s good, Todoro was just in time to take the next yearly recruitment in one of the organizations in the largest territory. When his potential was seen, he was nearly conferred the status of a pale gray clothed member, making him happy. But then, he was asked about his cultivation age. Todoro knew better than trying to fool those far above him. Thus, he was kicked out as well

In time, it went from 1 of the 5 organizations in the largest territory, to all 5 rejecting and kicking him away for his lacking cultivation diligence. In under a year, before leaving to try it out in the east, Todoro was rejected by half the organizations. When he arrived in the east, believing this to be his lucky year as he returned to ‘his side’, Todoro was heartlessly rejected by the remaining organizations in the east.

At last, when he went to the small southern territory and was rejected by the last 2 organizations there, Todoro attempted the 15th time in the largest territory. Yet, he was once again rejected and left behind by those even younger than him by half.

Dejected, and without any future, the 16 year old had it one last time. Since he couldn’t do anything, he wanted to at least enter any organization so he could avoid making his mother feel too disappointed in death. Then, killing himself wouldn’t be too bad, or boring.

All of this, Heian Ciemnosc saw through it.

Today, it was barely late morning when Todoro finally arrived a few kilometers from the northwest. He looked at an invisible barrier that didn’t let him in and nearly burst in rage then and there. However, a fit of calmness after his mother’s face flashed across his mind stopped him.

During a few weeks, Todoro bordered the Forbloffende Traes Sect, he attempted to enter the northern and western entrances, but he still couldn’t. Only when he arrived at the southern entrance did he notice the recruitment area. It was quite a bit large, but it was empty, although it seemed clean and neat. Todoro was slightly numb by now, not caring anymore about the time he wasted walking at a regular pace.

There were kiosks everywhere, with walls of metallic, chrome blue color behind the thin pillars, where several reception desks waited for no one. Todoro Kalavera looked at the Sect’s recruitment area and thought back to how, when he first heard about this Sect when he was a 3 year old, he mocked and ridiculed such a silly organization.

He stopped a few dozen meters before a kiosk, with the paper and pen ready atop the reception desk. His eyes narrowed, looking down on the desolate aura this area was impregnated with. He thought, ‘If I don’t remember incorrectly, the elderly from my village said that organizations like these last 40-45 years before succumbing to loneliness… It’ll be enough time for me to waste myself then.’

Step, step.

Todoro walked to the reception desk. He wanted to shout if there was anyone alive because it seemed like the organization was already abandoned. Yet, when he came close to the desk, the paper and pen glowed, as it did the desk’s surface below it.

Todoro felt his chest calling something from within him. He instinctively took the pen and leaned over the paper. There was no one, but the desk and paper arranged themselves for his view as he moved. However, he stopped himself after sobering up. He looked up again, giving the place one last look to see if there’s anything that might indicate he’ll be entering a ghost organization.

Scribble, scribble…

Todoro filled up his name and age in the paper. Then, he answered the simple yet enjoyable gimmick-like questions one by one. At last, when he wanted to check the reverse side of the paper, as he felt engrossed writing on it, and he felt like it shouldn’t end there, the paper’s contents warped and changed before his eyes.

“Wow, what is this?” His still immature, inexperienced voice seriously called out in surprise. Todoro continued writing for 3 good minutes before his eyebrows frowned deeply. He had just answered a question that said ‘would you consider becoming a citizen or civilian again?’, to which he responded no. But then, with the rest of the sheet of paper intact, that sole question changed to ‘You could always waste your cultivation. Would you do it?’. It got him thinking.

Just as he wanted to write down ‘Only if it is the last resort’, his right hand tensed before he thought of his bedridden mother’s last few moments, with what remained of her hair on her face. Her eyes and mouth opened, looking towards him after he told her his resolve. Thus, he wrote, ‘No.’. But then, the words ‘I can’t’ followed up on his answer, only these had a bloody red tint.

When Todoro was feeling crazed, the questions changed again, stealing his attention away to continue answering them. After 5 minutes since he started answering questions, Todoro’s paper was finally taken under the desk as if the wind formed an invisible hand and snatched it away.

When he was stumbling on the spot, a small badge jumped from the surface’s desk as a hole opened. It landed on the desk and clanked a few times in circles before stabilizing. Todoro looked at it and read the words ‘ first generation, testing grounds participant #1’ on it. Todoro picked it in his left hand, slightly tightening his grip on it as he felt something guide him into another section of the testing grounds. ‘Am I the first to ever come here?’

Step, step, step. After a moment of thought, Todoro Kalavera walked through a different door, to the center of the testing grounds, where he saw a 10-story building tens of meters wide with the exterior stairs waiting for him to climb them up. There was a panel before the stairs, elevating in zigzag, with a hole of his badge’s shape. He walked forth towards his destiny…

… Heian Ciemnosc sat before his central cottage. His hands intertwined. He had only spent about 15 minutes there since Todoro neared the testing grounds. Since the fella was taking too long, he started meditating while Evans and mini Alejandro watched with interest and rapt attention.

There are 8 types of ‘regular’ organizations and 4 generational organizations. A total of 12 types. The first 8 are the Sect, Academy, Pavilion, House, Grotto, School, Cult, and Faction. The latter 4 are the Clan, Empire, Dynasty, and Nation.

These extend over the entire world and form the solid foundation of it all. Even then, in Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes, there was an unusual fixation on the organizations’ origins and classifications, but it still evened things out whenever there was conflict.

The Sect had many positions. There’s 10 of them, of which the favored title belong to the same status as below the Sect Master, just as it is with any other organization. In order from highest to lowest, it was the Sect Master, Grand Ancestor, Vice Sect Master, whose value was just below the Grand Ancestor but above the 3rd position, which are the Grand Elders.

Continuing down that line, there are the Ancestors, Elders, Core Disciples, Acting Elders, Inner Disciples, Outer Disciples, and Servants.

A Sect’s First Step full-fledged troops are 10,300,000. 70,000,000 at the Second Step, 400,000,000 at the Third Step, and from the Fourth Step onwards, it has 3 billion Godly troops at least. 550 billion at the Fifth Step, and 100 trillion at the Sixth Step. These are the most common in the world, with the Academies second.

The Academy’s 10 positions are the Headmaster, Deans, Vice headmaster, Supervisor, Teacher, Sub-Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Leading Student, Student, and Servant. Sub Students are merely the same as Students.

Their troops at the First Step are 6 million, with 54 million for the Second Step, 295 million for the Third Step, and from the Fourth Step onwards, it has 2 billion Godly troops. 300 billion at the Fifth Step, and 78 trillion at the Sixth Step.

Their First Step troops are 6 million, Second Step’s are 43 million, and Third Step’s are 260 million. The Empire is the most nefarious militaristic organization. Its 9 primary positions are Emperor/Empress, Ancestral Emperor/Empress, Imperial Prosecutor, Imperial Teacher, Imperial Elders, Imperial Guards, Princesses/Princes, not to confuse with crowned ones. Imperial Attendants, and Servants.

Their vassals’ 8 positions are the King/Queen, Imperial Inspector, Imperial Bodyguards, Teachers, Princesses/Princes, Attendants, Guards, and Servants.

It has 5 billion Godly troops at the Fourth Step. 700 billion at the Fifth Step, and 170 trillion at the Sixth Step.

Finally, at last… The Nation’s 9 positions are the President, Senate, Ministers, Head, which are below the Ministers as direct subordinates. Vice heads, Department’s Officers, or Department Officers, and Assistants.

Their First Step troops are 10,000,000, 75 million at the Second Step, and 500 million at the Third Step. From the Fourth Step onwards, it has 7 billion Godly troops. 800 billion at the Fifth Step, and 250 trillion at the Sixth Step.

… Todoro Kalavera felt the sweat all around his body, even in places he didn’t wish to think of right now. As he exited the 10-story building, his body had some blood and his clothes were majorly cut open, torn apart.

He walked to the panel from before and took his badge from it. When he looked at it, he realized the badge had changed to say ‘First Outer Sect Disciple of the Forbloffende Traes Sect’. Todoro panted, but a smile formed on his lips. He remembered the difficulties he went through to successfully ‘beat’ the test and felt it was all damn worth it.

At first, when he stepped onto the roof, as there were no more paths atop the stairs, he immediately fell down a floor. Then, immediately after, a puppet lunged at him with a pike in its hands from behind, targeting his upper back at the center, just below his nape.

Furthermore, another puppet was throwing a plastic, elastic bag with oil and fire already burning towards him. He rapidly dodged the puppet and slid his bum and soles of his feet to the side. An explosion sounded behind him, but he didn’t give it a glance and escaped the room, feeling chilly below his nape.

After running for 40 seconds, he realized something was streaming down his back, and when he touched it, his fingertips were covered in blood. But he continued, feeling mortified only in the first several tens of seconds before steeling his resolve and continuing down this path.

He faced more puppets, of which 1 out of 5 of them showed the Four Primary Elements and the Lightning element with perfect affinity. Many times, he was struck or nearly heavily attacked. But the puppets attacked with his cultivation base prowess, allowing him to get through the gaps and difficulties, albeit barely.

There was a floor in which puppets acted strange. Some sat down and didn’t move, appearing lonely, sad, perturbing, pitiful, and… very scary. Whenever he opened his mouth, Todoro felt his body shook with electric shocks. He learned how to keep his mentality still without biting his tongue or digging blood into his palms because any seemingly detected intense emotion also brought more torment.

It had been inconceivable… and heartless… but at last, he made it. Todoro limped to the other door leading further into the invisible barrier’s direction. He had the faint sensation that this was but an illusion, and that the Forbloffende Traes Sect wasn’t just a show-off hill and some buildings in the center.

‘Hmmm…’ Sitting cross-legged, Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes remained closed, but his chin tilted to the right. Sara lazily rubbed her bare body because of the comfort and relaxation she felt. Then, she commented, “His Special Body is being triggered. How cruel, hehe. Ah! His mentality is sooo good. I forgot how tremendous those people are. The last 2 were females, though.”

“Eh? Now that I remember, wasn’t one of them carmine red-haired? Yeah, she is Alyona’s ancestor from a few tens of Changes ago,” Sara seriously said with an energetic voice. Heian Ciemnosc shook his head and slapped her bum, making her smile teasingly as she felt his darkness embraced her waist and upper thighs.

“Enough, or you’ll get it.” Heian Ciemnosc said in his inner universe. Sara’s eyes dangerously narrowed. Her pink crosses became ridiculously seductive as she sultrily said, “Good. Ever since that [Life Reinforcement & Creation], your Soulish seed has given me pleeeenty nutrition. I feel I’ll be able to come out and really do it with you if this keeps up.”

“Oh, but keep it steady. Don’t waste the little ‘nutrition’ you’ve accumulated. Save it.” Heian Ciemnosc said, softly caressing her bare, thin, small back. Sara pouted and purred as she said, “I know~.”

“Come. He just finished the last little test. Time to greet the First Disciple.” Heian Ciemnosc stood up, received Sara’s nod, and smoothly flew southwards with Evans and mini Alejandro by his side. Halonso appeared midway there, also accompanying Heian Ciemnosc.

… A few minutes ago, Todoro Kalavera entered a small room with only 1 seat and desk conjoined. There, he received an extensive piece of information with what seemed military ranking systems. The paper sheet asked him to memorize them and rewrite them afterwards to the letter and numbers.

Todoro was already prepared. When he read the instructions, he stopped, didn’t read a thing, and closed his eyes to calm himself down. 3 minutes later, he opened them and began reading. A few minutes later, he finished it. The letters, words, and numbers disappeared as soon as he read through them, making him nervous at first.

But after experiencing what he had experienced, he grew used to it quickly. Although he couldn’t memorize everything, the last test result gave him a 37% completion, which somehow made him feel better. It was a weird, extended military rank system. He never heard of anything like that.

Usually, it was just commanders, sub-commanders, and second-in-commands. Their power and numbers depended on the mission, task, or operation. After finishing, Todoro walked through the door. He wanted to see how different the hill was, and if there were actually more people, or if he would have any lucky opportunity from being the first.

However, as soon as he crossed the last door, not noticing it also led into the barrier’s insides, he was shocked to see a Small City-like scenery. It was smaller, about 4 or 5 times lesser than a Small City, but it was still much bigger than any organization’s territory.

Moreover, the structures and infrastructure was simply better than any of the 5 Small Cities he’s been in before. Let alone the organizations’ inner territory. It was simply… inconceivable… all over again!

The only pity about this place was that it was empty. Not even insects or small animals, like rats and raccoons, existed in this inner territory. Yet, as he enjoyed its beauty and development, he suddenly saw 3 tiny dots and a white dot fly towards him.

Todoro Kalavera’s eyes widened as he witnessed this scene. He stopped in place and nervously gulped down. The 4 dots became 3 Fauna and a person’s figure. Only now did Todoro realize he was in front of an 8 meters tall statue of a young man, of which Heian Ciemnosc and the others landed in between it and the First Disciple.

‘What the hell?! Isn’t that a Peaksky Swan? How young is it to start at the peak of the First Step?’ Todoro was immediately convinced of the Forbloffende Traes Sect, as he felt a greater pressure from the Peaksky Swan and the overly pale young man than from the testers’ bodies when he traveled to the Vrida Region’s organizations.

“You, come and kneel. Swear allegiance to the Sect and the Sect Master if you wish to receive your emblem and medallion.” Heian Ciemnosc didn’t offer any greeting and pointed at Todoro. Todoro felt his body squirm when Heian Ciemnosc pointed at him, before setting his gaze on the statue. When he returned his gaze to Heian Ciemnosc, he donned a peculiar gaze.

“Senior, are you this Sect’s Sect Master?”

“Who else? Do you want to keep wasting time?” Heian Ciemnosc ultimately coldly yet calmly said, as Todoro Kalavera’s eyes widened. Todoro was absorbed in a hurried notion as he followed Heian Ciemnosc’s instructions and walked before the statue to half kneel.
