Blauw Empire's Northern Regions
Pfiush, pfiush, pfiush, pfisuh, pfiush, pfiush, pfiush, pfiush, pfiush...!
The Fighters launched missiles one last time before rushing above the enemy's soldier units. The enemy was astounded, but how could they not when seeing hundreds of massive missiles coming towards them? Immediately, they tried attacking in the same way, launching all their arsenal towards the Empire's missiles as their Fighters continued rushing deeper behind the enemy's frontline and sending yet more missiles. The enemy's anti-missile turrets never worked so hard, and their machine guns were focused in the air while their own missiles also flew towards the Empire's.
Boom! Boom!! Boom!! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!... Ta- rararararara- rararara, pfiush, pfiush, pum! While the enemy sent their arsenal to the Empire’s accumulation of missiles, the ground forces’ helicopters didn’t hesitate to open fire at the enemy and break apart their formation as the Empire’s missiles detonated in the air and created a wonder but scary, massive cloud of destruction spreading for kilometers wide and a hundred meters tall.
The Empire’s helicopters flying below them were not affected, and they started destroying enemy armored vehicles left and right, advancing without stopping as the wheels and tanks were just behind them. When the enemy began falling to this utterly lethal combination, they gave up on contending the Emipre with equal numbers and vehicles. They set their armored cars, helicopters, and tanks to auto-pilot before jumping out of them and retreating!
Not everyone was saved, as some of the missiles the Empire’s Fighters brought helplessly reached them, exploding their shields and their bodies as they flew away, or in rare cases, whenever a missile warhead penetrated and directly blew the cultivators’ bodies. It didn’t matter how much Neutral Energy they used or if their crystallized armor was active. No one in the Second Step’s lower realms could withstand a missile head-on.
The enemy was surpassed, but they weren’t giving up. While their armored vehicles were being destroyed nonstop, the Empire’s helicopters didn’t target the cultivators, as these could at least defend themselves against machine guns somewhat, still threatening their lives, and would take too much time from driving their attention away. Thus, as the helicopters destroyed every enemy armored vehicle, the enemy cultivators retreated a few kilometers in under a minute while the helicopters waited for the rest of their armored folk.
Even then, the helicopters didn’t slow down, and when the enemy became ready to face the incoming Empire’s ground forces despite not having any armored vehicle in their hands, the Empire was uncaringly rushing towards them. Some enemy forces had array formations, but it seemed they lacked in those, as not even 20% of their army had such. Still… that they stopped and were ready to confront the Blauw Empire like this was commendable.
But the Blauw Empire had no time to waste, so instead of exiting their vehicles and offering them a melee combat with cultivators against cultivators, among other types of fights, they rushed forwards while the tanks and helicopters aimed their entire arsenal at the enemy army. Thus, under the rain of shells and bullets, enemy energy barriers and bodies turned to bloated balloons, losing air and popping, with even their skin reduced to the smallest volume before falling on the grass and turning into non-efficient fertilizer.
Meanwhile, the armored vehicles tried not to disperse their rests, but some wind blew their remains, shortening their thin and tiny volume. But it didn’t matter, and the armored vehicles continued moving forward, driving through the Lightglassed Region’s land as they headed to the center, but still several distances away. When they passed through what their Fighters had already gone through, they witnessed the outcome they predicted.
Hundreds of enemy armored vehicles turned into trash as they littered the ground, while some puddles of metallic liquid lay everywhere, some accompanied by corpses and an enemy army filled with hatred and thirst for revenge. But, like their comrades from before, they also used their array formations to speed up the process of catching up to the Empire’s invasive force. Thus, they had little to no resistance as they charged towards the ground forces and were mowed down like grass before the tanks and helicopters’ concentrated firepower.
Those that flew high enough and attacked some armored vehicles with energy attacks stained the cars and tanks below them with red droplets and flesh. The enemy could barely touch the armored vehicles before they all died, and became yet more remains were blown by the wind and the roaring surge of motors. The Blauw Empire continued their rush and neared a little bit closer to the enemy’s headquarters and Small City.
The Empire’s ground forces continued to see more defeated enemies whose strength was halved by the passing of the Fighters. In return, some of the Fighters were destroyed, and nearly everyone in each piloting team died along them, but the amount was between the dozens, while the Fighters were thousands. Even if not as many as a single Carrier would have, those were all the ground forces’ Fighters and were valuable, as were their lives.
The Empire’s ground forces continued to beat the enemy while they were down, kicking them to death as their wheels, tracks, and main motors worked at top capacity, and their massive weapons destroyed the defenseless enemy. However, as they continued to move as fast as possible, they realized the enemy was keeping their array formations to boost their speed and started keeping them.
The more the ground forces advanced, the more they saw the enemy wearing array formations beside their armored cars already on auto-pilot and weapons ready to strike back at the Empire’s armored vehicles. Thus, as more waves were broken and crossed through by the unstoppable Empire, the Lightglassed Region’s resistance became more and more proficient in defending against them.
They were definitely sharing information and were doing so better than before. The enemy started causing not only some damage to the armored vehicles but destroying them! The Imperial Guards rushed out of those armored vehicles, bringing their hopeless citizens to stand on foot. But while they were trained to exit an armored vehicle about to explode or become the enemy’s target practice, some couldn’t leave on time or were trapped by the enemy energy attacks and enemy cultivators flocking around them.
In the end, before the Empire could travel halfway through the distance to reach the enemy’s overall base of operations, their waves and waves of defensive forces became a tougher and tougher nut to crack. In another hour, the Empire’s ground forces had advanced another third of the remaining distance, leaving them with yet another third before their armored vehicles could start opening fire on them.
However, while their tanks and helicopters were still many, there were no more armored cars left! The enemy had been so suicidal yet effective that they virtually destroyed every armored car they had found, forcing most soldier units to keep on rushing on foot. The soldier units had to activate and deactivate their pre-inscribed array formations to keep fighting, moving as fast as possible, and continue the rush towards the enemy’s center.
This was too taxing to the citizens, so whenever it was time to only rush forwards, they would enter tanks or helicopters before being deployed back on the field to face off the enemy. While they could just attack from them, they fearlessly followed the flying, faster, and insanely more bodily able cultivators to battle with just their rifles and a little bit of immense guts. While the enemy was always befuddled to see people like them in battle, no matter how much they heard and was warned against these guys, the enemy cultivators fought them afterwards just like they would to any other enemy. What’s more of their Region’s enemy.
The battles continued, and at some point, with half the tanks gone, it became a massive run of tens of millions of Blauw Empire’s soldier units, meeting a few million enemy soldier units each wave. While this happened, the enemy that had been stationed on other sides of their square-shaped Regionwide formation rushed towards the center. Strangely, the Blauw Empire didn’t bombard the southerner side, and those and the eastern side rushed past their headquarters to join the defensive forces.
The Blauw Empire continued to rush towards there, but the enemy continued to pour into their way, delaying so the northern side could arrive on time and flank them. They still had a bit over ten million soldier units from that side anyway. Meanwhile, the enemy’s morale was rising as they practically forced the undefeatable Blauw Empire to their feet, destroying their armored vehicles little by little!
However, when the enemy’s armies were preparing to create immediate defenses with higher numbers, protective array formations, and tools, ready to stop the Blauw Empire’s rush that had cost them far too many lives. The Empire’s fleets at the beach acted. Over 60,000 Fighters rushed from the shores to inland.

The world had become silent as it happened. The ground forces watched from afar after finishing off another few million enemy troops, and the special forces were getting tired after salvaging many situations, but the sight of too many Fighters rushing at maximum speed towards the Lightglassed Region’s north left them with nothing but… raging spirit for glory!
On the other hand, the enemy armies outside the headquarters and Small City could only feel relieved that those weren’t the tens of thousands of Fighters overflying past them. However, when the Fighters' direction was known to be the north, they could only feel an impeding and deepest doom. Their fellows at the north were… definitely… They could only resolve themselves to die with their cause on their shoulders. They’d have to do more than they planned and die harder for their comrades in the north.
Lastly, those in the Small City and headquarters felt and became desolate as they watched rapidly flying Fighters cross over their heads and head northwards. From a distance, still with everything shuddered in the dark of the night, the desperation grew as they imagined seeing clouds of fireworks from tens of thousands of kilometers away. If thousands were already deathly enough to a few million, what could tens of thousands do to a little over 10,000,000 troops?
But the fight at the ‘front’ continued. The empire was rejuvenated, and their exhaustion was slowly being replaced as those who hadn’t even had a chance to go all-out in every battle were put at the vanguard, and the tanks remained right behind them, protecting those who were nearly exhausted, allowing them to rest after every fight. It came to the point where even citizens gave their spots in tanks and helicopters to those cultivators. Especially a bloody royal princess who was ensuring everyone in her Blue Force was kept alive, even if they were critically injured and had to be sent back, no longer able to fight.
A few battles later, the Empire finally faced a definitive defensive line from the enemy, no longer a wave, having won enough time to build it, and several more. But just as the Empire’s soldier units were terrifyingly mighty, and their methods were simply formidable, even if they didn’t employ them seamlessly. The enemy was fighting to die! It wasn’t simply defending their home. They were actively dying for a reason, a cause… something that’d make nearly every First Step cultivator jealous of.
Most First Step cultivators perished with little to no worthwhile wars or defending their organization. And when they had to fight wars, they were similar to how civilians fought, only faster and more casually, with deaths amounting to dozens every few seconds being not that strange in the most intense battles with cultivators at the peak. However, these Second Step cultivators, whose Region’s sovereignty was threatened, began losing their power as more of their cultivators died, but their strength remained!!
However, a chance occurred in the middle of that battle. As the enemy defense force was being obliterated by the ferocious, bloodthirsty, formidable Imperial Guards and murderous citizens, and their numbers fell like trees in the middle of a Second Step peak cultivator self-imploding.
… At the north, when the Empire’s Fighters were just a minute from being reached by the prepared missiles from afar, following behind and forming cloudy smokes, as their artillery guns and machine guns aimed at the lower sky and the ground… the enemy received the order.
“... Stand down! This is the headquarters, the Empire… they… we… we’ve lost. Stand down! Accept their demands. Do not fight!”
“!!...” The enemy cultivators, in their intact armored vehicles or flying behind their helicopters slowly halted. They looked ahead as thousands and thousands of Fighters with the Blauw Empire’s emblem on them appeared in the sky, and as seconds went by, they became tens of thousands. Immediately, shouting and throat-cut cries resounded everywhere like thunder. “We’re surrendering!!” - “Stand down!” - “Step down the vehicles!” - “Come out! We’re over here! Stand down already!!” - “We’re surrendering… it’s over…”
Whoooooooooshh~!! Pew, pew, pew, pew… booooooooooooooom~!
As the enemy commenced to come out of their stopped armored vehicles, and the helicopters immediately went down with their motors off and the piloting teams exiting it without storing them, the missiles that were just 30 seconds from reaching them slowly arched back up. After coursing through hundreds of kilometers, they self-detonated behind the enemy’s northern defensive forces, making the earth tremble as this was the response nature could only have with nearly 10,000 missiles exploding at once.
They went off where only mountains, Fauna, and flora lived. It wasn’t optimal, and the detonation occurred in the sky, but it had to be done. However, that wasn’t all. As the first few thousand Fighters stopped above the enemy’s heads with consecutive ‘futomp!’ sounds, they saw how several more tens of thousands of missiles flew from the large formation of Fighters towards other empty plots of land. Some were deeply buried underneath before being allowed to detonate, and others rose into the sky after reaching the desired location.
Ruuuuuuummmmbleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~! Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmbleeeeeeeee~!!
“!!!...” However, the enemy watched those missiles go off and detonate everywhere around them, hundreds of kilometers away, but still as loud as it was happening beside them, lifting grass before creating lasting tremors over the land they were standing on. This put a clear meaning into their hearts if it wasn’t already there after seeing tens of thousands of Fighters suddenly peek from the sky. Fear.
… Thud, thud, thud! After the missiles’ explosions dissipated, and the enemy no longer felt the sensation of their pants, uniform, or robes fluttering like crazy and never stopping as if it had always been this way. Imperial Guards jumped down their Fighters and looked at the enemy like prey caught in their trap, satisfied and not planning to eat it. At least not just yet.
Citizens came down to watch the surrendered enemy with their rifles aiming down. In this case, they should’ve been afraid and comprehensive of their situation. After all, one’s will was one thing. It wasn’t determined by others just because of an order. It wasn’t the same in the Blauw Empire as it was anywhere else. However, and obviously, the citizens were unafraid as they walked around the surrendered folk.
Whoosh! Pew! Cuh- phhshk! Phhshk! Phhshk! Phhshk! Phhshk!
When a citizen was looking around, walking sideways while inspecting the enemy cultivators, there was one of them who felt too ashamed of being looked upon by a non-cultivator and charged towards the citizen in question. Their Neutral Energy exploded in the air, and his own comrades’ eyes widened, but they didn’t follow after. Then, they watched as the citizen they already saw as a bag of mangled flesh and flattened organs candidly lifted his rifle and pulled the trigger.
A light blue laser-ish beam shot from its barrel and immediately penetrated the enemy’s forehead, bringing his pupils to instantly jerk in the direction the beam shot. Afterwards, it traveled further and reached towards another cultivator who wasn’t in a surrendering position anymore and was eyeing the nearest citizen towards them. It looked like, in the end, other enemies were inspired by the first one and wanted to go off ‘greatly’ however they could.
The beam landed on that cultivator’s right eye, which he suddenly darted towards the light blue beam. The eyeball exploded, and the brain followed. His Neutral Energy had no chance to protect himself, and he fell leftwards as another 2 such cultivators were struck by the same beam. Suddenly, silence stomped hard on everyone’s senses, and even more as they noticed something different in that citizen after firing that shot and killing 5 cultivators in the Second Step!!
“Alright, you’ve made it. Want to play, ah? On your knees!!” The Imperial Guard in charge of 15,000 Fighters, a Carrier’s number, and from none other but the First fleet yelled. His voice thundered in everyone’s heads as they noticed it was someone barely in the Hana-Saga realm 3rd stage, but the Spirit Sense added to his voice was efficient, to say the least. The rest of the ex-enemy cultivators knelt, and even if they weren’t affected by that Carrier’s Fighter commander, the machine guns aimed at them and already rolling were enough convincing.
… On the other hand, where the ground forces had just finished apprehending every ex-enemy cultivator and were no longer rushing onwards. The Blauw Empire’s troops were just over 2,000 km from the Lightglassed Region’s headquarters and Small City, when they saw their dozen layers of protective array formation barriers turn off one by one, and transporting ships, rushed out without any forcibly installed weapon on them, not even below top-notch.
Whoooooosh…!
After traveling the whole distance in under 10 minutes, deplorable compared to Fighters but better than armored vehicles, the Blauw Empire’s Generals had already come here with their Fighters and the piloting teams of the ground forces’ Fighters. They ordered none other but the Blue Force’s leader, the royal princess, to assess the situation.
Thus, as the vessel descended as all the leading figures’ faces in the citizens and Imperial Guards’ minds showed one after another, with some of their people. The Generals stepped forwards and protected Ishikyy while her royal guards formed a square formation around her except for her front. Before she could say anything or the Generals could warn them, one of the leading figures — the most important — stepped out of the group and knelt on the ground.
“The Lightglassed Region… wishes no more confrontation… We have nothing, no power or rights to put our conditions, so… From now on, this Region is the Blauw Empire’s. We give this Region for you to occupy… willingly. Our only thought is to believe this will be a good choice in the future, but we have no complaints… Spare our soldier units… they will be willing to serve you in future conquests!” The man wore a long, white robe with black stripes in the middle and around his hips, wearing the emblem of a Grotto, and had a very light, slightly feminine voice.
“...” Blauw Ishikyy held her bloody trident with stains coiling around it, and as long, gruesomely thick pieces of flesh fell down her Colorful Claw’s individual claws, also entangled in each.
…
