Unprecedented Cultivation Speed
3 months later. In a Region whose festivities have been ongoing for a whole month.
In a Medium City, unique to this 2* Region. A coliseum was located near the center, beside the ruling organization's individual territory, bustling with billions of people around it wanting to get inside or get a glimpse of the show. It was focused around Life-Long realm cultivators in the early stages. But so long as someone stronger limited their cultivation to the 3rd stage's peak, they could participate.
Anastasia and Molto were up the stage. It was hundreds of kilometers long, allowing more than a million cultivators with that cultivation base to duel each other to decide a winner. This was but a celebration, not a contest to vie for the best spot, which is why the cultivation base was limited only to the Life-Long realm early stages.
Thus, too many people joined it. Killing wasn’t allowed, and the nearby Farsighted realm cultivators were at the ready to save anyone and imprison those who dared to break this and other rules. As for the issue of a wrongdoer unleashing their full cultivation base, only those in the Life-Long realm could participate, they just had to limit their cultivation base to the early stages.
Heian Ciemnosc could participate if he wanted. His body allowed him to mask and limit his cultivation base that efficiently. Besides, there were no Gods to see through his concealment. Of course, he didn’t join it. Although some people here were even a couple million years, who managed to last so long by cultivating cowardly yet for long, this was a thing for the kids and the weaklings. He had important things to deal with.
On the other hand, it was perfect for Anastasia, who hardly found a Life-Long realm enemy even when she was warring at the Central Formation realm. As for Molto, she scared the crap out of anyone she found with her assassination, concealment skills, and speed.
In the bleachers, Heian Ciemnosc watched his daughter wield a great sword up and down, bashing her opponents one by one, forcibly sending them to other rings to be disqualified before she accidentally hurt another one. Her first 3 opponents were nearly killed by her punches.
Throughout the journey, Anastasia broke into the Life-Long realm 2nd stage. She had thought using her fists to deal with a Life-Long realm 1st stage cultivator would be enough. Never did she imagine her opponents to be so weak. It didn’t help that they chose the Dark realm as their last choice at the peak of the Second Step, making them capable in the offensive but lacking defensive measures.
It didn’t matter, though. It was impossible for Anastasia and Heian Ciemnosc to not be recognized in the bleachers and the tournament. It only took a moment for Heian Ciemnosc to be discovered, showering him with endless glances ranging from curious and surprised to apprehensive and fearful.
A few seconds later, Anastasia gained the same number of pairs of eyes. Besides, Grietta and Elyor were sitting near him. Who could mistake them as look-alikes? Thus, after Anastasia nearly killed 3 of her opponents and the referees cut them some slack, the people became more cheerful with the black monster and vital figures from the Crimsonbreaking Faction present.
Step, step, step… At this very moment, as Heian Ciemnosc observed his daughter finish off her 14th opponent, where she’d immediately enter the next phase with another victory, a person walked to him from his left. It was a young girl. She stopped and looked at Heian Ciemnosc after bowing to Lu Cra, who sat on Heian Ciemnosc’s left, before asking. “May I sit beside you, sir?”
“Lu Cra, on my right,” Heian Ciemnosc didn’t glance at the young girl but spoke softly to Lu Cra, who swooned over his lap and sat on her sister Lu Cro’s lap before hugging Heian Ciemnosc’s right shoulder, watching Anastasia and Molto’s duels.
“Thank you,” the young girl said, picking her skirt before sitting on the chair on Heian Ciemnosc’s left. She accommodated herself before addressing him, “It’s a pleasant surprise for my Empire to welcome you, sir black monster. What brings you here?“
“I’m looking for relaxation. My cultivation base is near a breakthrough. Princess, your wedding has just been celebrated. Shouldn’t you have started continuing your family’s lineage?” Heian Ciemnosc calmly blinked before answering, holding Lu Cra’s head with his right palm and rubbed it softly.
“Ah, ahem. We’re taking a little break and wanted to see the tournament,” the young girl said, blushing as her eyes became round. She then faced her body a little towards Heian Ciemnosc and inquired with princess-like etiquette, “Sir, are you nearing the Bright/Silhouette realm peak? Congratulations, your cultivation speed is magnificent!”
“Mn, it is,” Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head to the left, leaving it hanging as he commented. His 3 Fairies on his right grinned. The young princess politely nodded before focusing on the tournament. She spent a few minutes praising Anastasia before Heian Ciemnosc addressed her himself with a calm tone, “Princess, your natural disposition is somewhat to my liking. Would you consider learning under me? At the very least?”
The young princess was surprised, to say the least. Her head jolted upwards before staring at Heian Ciemnosc. She seemed dubious, before finally saying in a light tone, with the most polite touch she could muster. “I apologize, sir black monster. Actually, I’m surprised and gladdened you could see it, too. A Fifth Step organization’s senior discovered me 2 years ago, and I became his in-name disciple. You must be capable of seeing through what senior did.”
“Although I understand my talent is extraordinary, I wish to follow that senior first, and if you don’t mind. I can’t be faulty to my word, and my parents’.” The young princess bowed apologetically. Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes glinted as he looked at the top of her head and her slight blow. His countenance was peaceful, and he didn’t seem to mind.
With a grin, Heian Ciemnosc closed his face to the young girl, who became surprised by his subsequent words. “Are you sure? It’s not really my intention to cause you trouble, but I won’t ask again. I came here to enjoy a break, too. Not to look for disciples.”
“S-… sir black monster, you must be joking!” The young princess tilted her head a lot to the right after straightening her back. She looked up at Heian Ciemnosc and delicately said, “You are young and have an incredible status to yourself. Every word of yours is backed by a mighty army belonging to you as the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s person. I know you won’t have time to deal with a little disciple.”
“Hmm, if that is so,” Heian Ciemnosc looked at her initial hesitation after his words rapidly disappear, and commented after she finished hers and followed it with a last, courtesy bow. He no longer paid her any heed and pressed his chin on his left backhand, supporting his elbow on his left knee.
“…” The young princess suddenly looked at the empty sky before Heian Ciemnosc’s face, pondering about something. She knitted her eyebrows and felt a momentary sense of loss. However, roaring cheers erupted, stealing attention from anywhere to the opponent Anastasia just beat as her 15th victory.
In the ring, Anastasia’s fighting stance with her fists up before her face were stained with blood. Meanwhile, 7 meters before her feet, a tall, brawny woman with a blonde ponytail laid unconscious on the floor. Her cultivation base was also in the Life-Long realm 2nd stage. The cheers were from Anastasia’s victory after using only her punches and a bit of Vigor Energy.
Despite the Arts and melee expertise Anastasia’s opponent showed, she fell under Anastasia’s barrage of punches. Heian Ciemnosc grinned when he saw this scene. As for the young princess beside him, she continued to sit with him, enjoying the tournament, but clearly a little less than before.
Heian Ciemnosc couldn’t care about the rejection. That Fifth Step organization’s senior couldn’t clearly see through what Heian Ciemnosc could. Thus, Heian Ciemnosc knew that the young princess’s hidden, potent Darkness elemental affinity might remain hidden for the rest of her life. As for her cultivation talent, it was good, but lesser than even Rosina.
CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP… As the crowd celebrated the black monster’s daughter’s victory, Heian Ciemnosc stood up and walked towards the stage, whereas Anastasia flew towards him in a rush. At the same time, Molto stopped wasting time and defeated her 15th opponent before following behind Anastasia.
‘Huh? They are like this, and in public…’ The young princess watched Heian Ciemnosc and his daughter from a distance. In her head, she thought all parents of high status like hers and Anastasia’s are supposed to be rule-following, authoritative, and impartial. For a moment, the young princess felt jealous of Anastasia, and the feeling of loss increased.
… The day wasn’t over, but it would take a while for the rest of the participants to be ruled out. In the preliminaries, anyone could take a break after a victory, but those that beat 15 opponents in a row would immediately enter the next phase. In this case, Anastasia and Molto were a rare sight, and it didn’t happen often enough to speed the tournament process.

After a few days, the preliminary segment finally ended. Anastasia was called to the stage the day before, and she presented herself to the coliseum the day after. Now, she was facing a Life-Long realm 2nd stage cultivator. From then on, her opponents would be the strongest from several tens of millions who participated and prevailed through the preliminaries. The best 10,000 were to be decided in a single battle.
Naturally, Anastasia won with less ease than before. Her Vigor Energy came to light more now than before, and her opponent lasted until she hit his body after 20 times, with her Vigor Energy injected into them. Anastasia was a little tired, but she began understanding the ways to correct her use of her prowess to an improved degree.
A day later, the 3 consecutive duels to decide the best 5,000, 2,500, and 1,000 were fought one after the other. The protocol brought ceaseless intensity and cheers to the crowd. It would be the most active day since the tournament began. Anastasia and Molto were more than ready for it.
While Molto won everything with her cultivation base limited to the peak of the Life-Long realm 3rd stage, Anastasia faced a mighty ribbon-armed Perkanai. Their fight ended in Anastasia’s victory soon after it began. Yet, their ring was huddled with the ribbon’s cuts on the floor, and the air around them was thin after numerous clashes where Anastasia was pushed off 3 of 10 times.
In her duel for the best 2,500, Anastasia faced a Demon with strong Fire elemental affinity. However, Anastasia’s knowledge of the Fire element was higher than her opponent. Through the duel, the Demon found his Elemental Arts useless unless he procured each of them with double the amount of his Vigor Energy. But even then, Anastasia blocked and resisted his Arts with ease, albeit gaining obvious burning marks and slight cuts through her skin that nearly spilled a complete drop of blood.
Those with the same cultivation base as Anastasia were on part with her, but she still had the capabilities to make them fall under her prowess. She just had to exert the correct pieces of knowledge she has learned, and execute them to the letter to beat the trickiest opponents.
For her best of 1,000 duel, Anastasia met a tough opponent wielding dual blades. He was fast, and each swing was equal to a full-out blow from a Life-Long realm 2nd stage cultivator. Anastasia was immediately surprised, forcing her back in a flurry numerous times before she recomposed. The speed she faced was the same her father used to spar with her.
After becoming used to her opponent’s speed, she started striking back, leaving punches, kicks, and Earth elemental energy bouts backed by her slightly greater bodily strength as inertia. In exchange, she received several cuts that drew a few droplets of her blood, nearly half as dark as Heian Ciemnosc’s.
A few streams of blood coated her clothes until the fight ended, with Anastasia holding her opponent as her dark tail was exposed, holding her opponent’s waist, gripping his constructed so tight it was nearly halving him into 2. Her left hand clawed his neck and lifted him up, declaring the winner with a thunderous applause to back her victory.
WHOOOSH!
As soon as the day ended, Anastasia flew towards Heian Ciemnosc, hugging his chest, not thinking about her surroundings anymore as she stabbed her chin on his solar plexus and went on. “Father, you saw?! I still haven’t gone all-out! I can win first place, I assure you!”
“…” Heian Ciemnosc helplessly grinned before caressing the sides of his daughter’s head. He didn’t reject her antics and doted on her. The young princess beside him watched with fully open eyes and a wordless countenance.
“Oh. But you still have a lot to work on. Don’t lose your mind now,” Heian Ciemnosc lightly said before turning around and leaving. He didn’t bid the young princess farewell, simply returning to the hotel he reserved for his people.
… That night. Just as the youngest of the 3 Fairies, Lu Cren, separated from his crotch with viscous and lewd noises and images pertaining to their act. Heian Ciemnosc’s eyelids trembled. His thoughts returned to that sensation from before, when he broke into the Planet Gate realm. However, this time, it was stronger, and more ‘invasive’ towards his inner universe.
“!!” Sara watched as the endless, pure darkness around her trembled, seemingly motioning through a streaming-down direction, but there was no up or down in an inner universe. Nevertheless, she was unaffected. She could also see some of the images of what Heian Ciemnosc envisioned. The more she looked, the more she felt entranced and figuring ‘something’ within the deepest corners of her mind.
If Heian Ciemnosc could be said to have swum to a spot of colder, thinner water in a river. He now went from a cozy, lukewarm river to a cold, vast, endless ocean. His body seemingly dissipated, and the sensation from his insides spread everywhere, as if he no longer had a body.
His dark Vigor Energy’s quality exponentially increased along his Spirit Sense, which became tougher and smoother. The images of lifeforms became brighter and more solid as mere seconds passed by. Just as Heian Ciemnosc felt the sensation becoming stronger, and his body turning even more into ‘everything’ and leaving his physical image behind, everything stopped.
‘…’ Heian Ciemnosc opened his darkest eyes calmly this time. However, the sight before him amazed him still. It was late morning. His Fairy lovers were sprawled before him, forming a cone formation with heir bums or tummies up. Their reproductive and one-way only holes were palpitating with copious amounts of sperm. Each exploded hole had a thick trail from their bodies to Heian Ciemnosc’s still active phallus.
“… Yo, so… Err… Want me to take care of it?” After waking up from the stupor as well, Sara said, already floating near his lower belly in his inner universe. Heian Ciemnosc thought for a few seconds before rapidly nodding. Sara rotated upside down before opening her mouth wide. In contrast, Heian Ciemnosc let out a comfortable sigh.
“Haa~…”
… The tournament continued 3 days after the best 1,000 were decided. From then on, everything became a duel to take notice of. At least for the Region and similar Regions with equal force and progress. A day after, the 500 best were victorious in yet another round, followed by the best 250 a day after.
Heian Ciemnosc’s breakthrough into the Planet Gate realm magnitude stage peak level sent him into another satisfied sensation. It was as if a part of him was being filled up with the memory muscle and reflects he thought he’d forgotten. But they were still there.
His Spirit Sense proficiency could now be compared to the might of a Star Universe, below the Grand Universe and above the Starlight Universe classification. As the days passed, he seemed to become more and more calm. In contrast, Elyor and Grietta were profoundly shocked for the first 2 days after Heian Ciemnosc’s breakthrough.
It had only been a few months, but Heian Ciemnosc was already breaking through again in the Planet Gate realm? The fuck?!
Nevertheless, this was perfect news for this time, and the imminent matters they ought to deal with after returning… But the tournament continued, with the best 100 decided with 2 battles in one day. Anastasia continued winning time after time, using her tail all-out as she punched and kicked the hell out of any opponent she faced despite the slight to mediocre injuries she suffered.
After a week, the best 50 were decided, followed by the best 20, and finishing with the last 10. Anastasia and Molto were within the top 10. To decide from the top 10 to the #1 in the tournament, they must fight each other once. Only one person could have 10 victories. But in case there was no such participant with 10 victories after everyone faced each other, the tournament would follow with an extra segment to decide between the best fighters.
Fortunately, it wasn’t needed. Furthermore, when everyone wanted to see a most requested duel between Molto and Anastasia, their meeting was not what they had hoped.
“… Miss, I will look forward to seeing your last struggle. Good luck,” Molto said and bowed before stepping backwards until she exited the ring. Anastasia pouted and looked at Molto ‘angrily’ but didn’t stop her. If they fought, it’ll be their toughest fight.
Anastasia was feeling a little breathless already, and Molto could still continue without obstruction. From the top 10, she was the only one who was barely tired.
“Thank you, Molto. I will remember you when I become strong, too,” Anastasia sweetly said. She then looked at the other top 10 while Molto flew towards Heian Ciemnosc. His left was empty today, so she sat there and watched the tournament with interest.
Soon after, the last battle Anastasia and the tournament would see commenced… because this was Anastasia’s 10th duel. Her opponent soon stepped into the ring, it was 1,000 square meters big, but Molto’s steps were fast and expansive, spanning a few hundred meters with every step. On the other hand, Anastasia’s opponent flew for a few seconds before arriving 100 meters before her, wielding a long spear in his right hand.
The duel commenced without further ado. Anastasia didn’t wait until her opponent forced her hand, surprising him as roots were summoned from seemingly nowhere and lunged towards him. His spear thrust and swooped, but it gave Anastasia enough time to land a right punch on his sternum. The first hit!
The duel began with the man flying backwards as Anastasia’s fully concentrated Vigor Energy traveled into his body and wroke havoc for a couple of seconds. The ring opened a vast, 4 meters wide crack in the floor. But this only led to an intense, all-out confrontation between a Life-Long realm 2nd stage early level cultivator against a Life-Long realm 3rd stage peak level opponent. A brand-new Change-worthy actress was about to become distinguished in the world!
The duel ensued several hundred blows within just a minute, causing the ring to become inoperable, making the referees immediately select another ring so they could continue their battle. With ring after ring destroyed by their duel, the last 2 opponents with 9 victories and 9 fights in the top 10 drew each other’s blood and tore the other’s flesh constantly.
Their bodies became more exhausted as they went on. Anastasia was a little breathless before the duel, but her opponent was still kicking and practically at his peak. Yet, he was panting and accidentally limping more than Anastasia as their fight continued.
Then, as the roots continued being summoned, coupled with her tail, that bodily strength, and her Elemental affinities, Anastasia’s roots continuously struck her opponent’s long spear, leaving gaps and marks on its metallic spearhead. It was a Sky grade weapon, so it was no joke, but it was getting damaged with every final bout after each round.
This left Anastasia’s opponent in distress. It was no cheap spear. Its quality was definitely not poor. After several more rounds, destroying a couple extra rings. Anastasia projected her dark tail towards her opponent, while her roots momentarily coiled around his wrists and shins, ensnaring him.
The tail was followed with other shadows with similar appearance to her tail. Despite the man offering all his Vigor Energy to protect himself, he was pierced by the dark tails, which were encompassed by a blue, gray, and golden blurry painting. Anastasia’s tail struck his sternum, sending him flying off the stage as a whole. The last hit!
