Crimsonbreaking Faction Feels Pride
The Offensive and Defensive Frigate remained at the enemy Frigate's center, rotating 90 and 270 degrees around it. Whenever the ER Team Frigates met at those points, they would spin together and launch constant artillery gun shells. Not coincidentally, those moments were also when the enemy Frigate was the most vulnerable as it rotated elliptically, and as the Frigates separated to return to their side and repeat the same on the opposite polar side, a couple missiles landed on the enemy Frigate as the others were forced to explode beforehand.
The enemy Frigate lost more and more energy for its shield and started suffering casualties within minutes. Their Fighter went out immediately, protecting their personnel assault as these flew from several hatches and rushed towards either Frigate, hoping to enter and deal damage.
However, the Offensive Frigate focused on attacking the enemy Frigate with its Fighter Teams, while the Defensive Frigate did the same. Its Fighter Teams were concentrated on dealing with these enemy cultivators who flew into space, knowing they could only die. The Defensive Frigate’s Fighter Teams flew and surrounded the enemy cultivators, blasting them to smithereens before they could land any energy attack on the Frigates.
Self-detonations occurred, but the Crimsonbreaking Faction Fighters wouldn’t have been allowed near a spaceship if they couldn’t dodge such situations. While some Fighters were damaged, and fewer soldier units were harmed, the battle continued, and the missiles continued to rage at the enemy Frigate!
Under co-leading Team Leader Heian Ciemnosc’s orders, these missiles rotated around the battle as the enemy Frigate was led a few hundred meters here and there, somewhat failing to fully accomplish the moon tactic the enemy was performing.
The enemy Frigate’s Fighters fought incredibly hard with the Defensive Frigate’s Fighters, but no matter how much and hard they tried, they couldn’t best them and target the Frigates. The Crimson Fighters were full of space battle experience, and these lackeys understood it as their Fighters didn’t last more than 2 minutes after they exited their Frigate.
Heian Ciemnosc’s Eternal Return Team led the Defensive Frigate’s Fighters. This was only for the first instances they would go out on missions, as they weren’t a Team meant for protecting. Although it was the most challenging job, especially as the Frigates started taking damage from the enemy Frigate’s missiles and weaponry occasionally, Heian Ciemnosc’s Team could do a much better job if they could lead a Fighter group.
Yun Tang wasn’t doing worse than they thought, but compared to experienced Fighters with decades and even with experience from the 10 year war, he lacked!
Heian Ciemnosc realized this, studying Yun Tang’s Fighter group as his Team led the Defensive Frigate’s Fighters until the enemy Fighters were destroyed and annihilated, and the enemy Frigate bashed them off constantly as it continued to move elliptically.
When the enemy Frigate realized none of their space aid was helpful, not even their self-detonating cultivators, they went all-out, keeping their arsenal covered with thick energy as they gave up protecting the rest, even the central command!
Boom… booom… boooom…!!
But that was also when Heian Ciemnosc gave the order, and the enemy Frigate experienced a missile explosion in its inner structure every few seconds. It did all it could to force the missiles to detonate and sent theirs towards the Crimson Frigates.
Unfortunately for the enemy, the Defensive Frigate’s Fighters detonated them immediately, even hurting the enemy Frigate’s structure a tad extra every time it happened. On the other hand, the enemy Frigate had to use machine guns with the highest fire rate to detonate the missiles aimed at itself. Otherwise, it would just not be enough.
This made the Crimson Frigates’ side even more leisurely to deal with the enemy Frigate. They smoothly bombarded and barraged the enemy Frigate with bullets and missiles, even sending a torpedo to cruelly separate their remaining living personnel within the middle. From then on, things only got worse for the enemy, and their arsenal, the only ones with shields to ensure the most damage to the Crimson Frigates, were actively targeted by every machine gun, artillery gun, and missile.
One by one, every 2 minutes or so, as the Frigates took more damage, but the Fighter Teams, mostly untouched, the fight came to an end as the enemy Frigate’s thrusters and arsenal were broken apart. Its energy system was also blown up, leaving it no escape.
… Thus, as the enemy Frigate was in shambles, with less than 70% of its structure remaining and the rest bathed in orange or blue flames, Heian Ciemnosc ordered all firepower to cease. At least for a few seconds, silence returned to their little battlefield as Heian Ciemnosc projected his hologram to the outside of the Defensive Frigate, gazing at the enemy’s central command with only a few dozen survivors, including the commander.
“As my Team’s and these 2 Frigates’ first hunting mission, you weren’t so bad. Congratulations.” Heian Ciemnosc’s tone was casual, direct, and with little feeling, just to avoid saying none. As soon as his words finished, the 30 remaining missiles rotating around them changed directions and headed towards the enemy Frigate’s central command, like sharks finding food after starving for weeks.
… Booom, booom, boom… KA- POBOOOOOOOM!...
The missiles only wasted a couple seconds to travel thousands of meters to their target. They ignored the open gaps of the enemy Frigate and rushed at the central command. Heian Ciemnosc’s well-trained Frigates’ personnel watched as the survivors looked at them.
There was little light in their eyes. Some hoped, and some wanted to kneel and beg. But under Heian Ciemnosc’s serene, ultimately cold gaze with his mouth spilling no orders, nobody bothered to ask for the enemies’ lives and deaths. The Crimsonbreaking Faction debuting Frigates watched as a mission was well over the finish. No enemy survived, and everything they had was destroyed, leaving not even a corpse as a 200 meters radius explosive wave became stagnant like a lasting firework launched last.
The firing bubble lasted 5 minutes before the Elemental Poisoning commenced and ate everything up, leaving only the scrap behind. When the Crimsons noticed this, they looked at each other, feeling lighter as a realization struck them that they couldn’t defend themselves against. They did it!
“Wueeeha!” - “This is how it’s done!” - “I can’t believe it… this was flawless!” - “We… we have a good leader, aight.” - “Mn!” - “I feel like a celebration should follow, but… why do I feel it’s not enough?” - “Parade?” - “Parade!” - “Shhh, we still don’t know that yet!” - “...” - “...”
With the mention of the word ‘Parade’ as the soldier units slapped each other’s arms and held one another’s shoulders, they turned silent and silently gazed at the Defensive Frigate. The piloting experts in the central command looked at Heian Ciemnosc, who held Anastasia and swung her up and down ever so slightly.
Heian Ciemnosc seemed to not feel their gazes, but their eyes burned, and their silence carried heavy momentum. Heian Ciemnosc slowly eased a tiny smile forming when seeing Anastasia become drowsy and about to fall asleep in his arms and chest for the umpteenth time.
“I recorded this directly, sending it to the base. I petitioned permission to continue hunting. There’s a nearby Space Station friendly with us… But they didn’t immediately agree. I had to let you prove yourselves you could deal with it. The recording ended a few seconds ago… they granted me, your co-leading Team Leader, permission. So, what are you waiting for?” Heian Ciemnosc said, calmly placing Anastasia down on Milyy’s fairer hands as only his face was visible to his people.
“The next target should be in your systems. Don’t waste any more time. Another 2, and we’ll resupply in that Space Station. Move out!” Heian Ciemnosc’s face became extra stern out of nowhere. He seemed to gaze at everyone, with the Incinerating Bolt battle array formation deactivated, and to the piloting experts in the Defensive Frigate as he commanded.
“Huaaaa!!” The 2 Frigates roared, calling out to their warmongering nature as the Fighters rushed back into their hatches, and the Frigates rapidly re-calibrated to aim towards their next objective. They were just 3 hours away at a medium speed. Heian Ciemnosc nodded at their protocol to rush to their destined location, proportioned by a helpful organization or various, and activated their engines to maximum potency!
They would advance like this for an hour, enough to traverse hundreds of thousands of kilometers, and stop to once again calculate the best plan to ambush their target. And this time, it was 2 Frigates and several merchant ships!
The auxiliary Fighters from the Frigates rapidly gathered the scraps and rushed back into the hatches, bringing a few spoils to their spaceships. They cleaned their sweat and were greeted by the soldier units after arriving at the main hangar before other auxiliary units rushed to them and started unloading the scraps in respective Covert Space bags to bring them to the storage modules.
The hunting was finished, but more were starting. Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t going to bathe his commanding career with just 1 small victory worth a few hundred thousand silver coins for his Team and approximately 100,000 silver coins for every other cultivator. This had just started!!
. . .
After Heian Ciemnosc broke into the Dark realm, and his Team finally went on a full-on mission, bringing its 2 Fighters to relieve the world from scum capable enough to destroy Kingdoms out of petty retaliation. One that was worth the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s history and image, to celebrate his breakthrough and the opportunities ahead after training those Frigates himself.

Several months passed. More than a year went by, with Heian Ciemnosc constantly erupting his Team’s Fighters in hunting missions, taking a good percentage of the fleeing enemies his incomplete Fleet got rid of among the whole Faction. He was slowly known as the young black monster who brought twin Frigates to the endless black only to bury it with at least 10 spaceships every trip.
It was no joke. The Eternal Return Team did missions even when his Flotilla flew out and finished their Flotilla’s goals for coming out of the base. The Eternal Return Team went from being another Frigate in the Flotilla to one of its largest contributors between the Second and Third Step battles. Additionally, there were rumors that Heian Ciemnosc used a rare cultivation method to help hundreds cultivate with him!
What did that mean? Heian Ciemnosc was already a crazy bastard regarding his cultivation efficiency and prowess. Now, hundreds of his personnel could cultivate with him once every week? And that was without adding the plethora of resources they received per month?! Too outstanding! They became a rising star, even in a growing-legendary organization like the Crimsonbreaking Faction!
This was only after a year since Heian Ciemnosc broke into the Dark realm. As more time passed, Heian Ciemnosc’s Eternal Return Team Fighters gained approval from the Flotilla commander, allowing him to battle through space in whichever way he wished. Although, on paper, Heian Ciemnosc still fought under the Flotilla commander’s direction.
Thus, the ER Team became the number 1 contributor to every space battle after the 1st year, dancing those beautiful twin Frigates around. Although they weren’t different from the other Frigates, whenever they knew who co-led them, or by simply glimpsing at them from afar or in a battle, they would gain direct praises from whichever eyes looked at them.
The Eternal Return Team Frigates went from making little money after Beto’s death to gaining a couple million silver coins every month, individually. And from 10 to 30 million silver coins for the Eternal Return Team. The other Teams under Heian Ciemnosc’s co-leadership gained a third of what his ER Team did, but they were immensely grateful for the ride.
Like this, in just a decade, every Team in Heian Ciemnosc’s co-lead Team Leader project would gain enough to buy an Offensive Frigate, spending those 180 million raw silver coins the best way possible.
Resupplying wasn’t a money issue, and the twin Fighters became so known that the world started paying attention to him, but only at the remotest levels. Such as civilians and citizens would know about them, and it was the same with First and early Second Step cultivators. But they still weren’t ‘famous’ enough to enter the eyes of all other Second Step organizations and forces’ elites, including the Overlord allies the Crimsonbreaking Faction recently made.
This wasn’t a bad thing. Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t aiming for fame or money but for experience. The 10,000+ personnel from the Eternal Return Team’s Frigates, counting soldier and auxiliary units, were slowly becoming experienced little monsters under his command.
Heian Ciemnosc’s Team members were also starting to know the commanding ways of a leader. Although they might not be ‘innately’ apt for such a role, that never meant a person couldn’t fight and struggle to become a General renowned throughout. Either way, if any of Heian Ciemnosc’s Team members wanted to become a commander in the future, significantly so as they advanced and might work in the same Flotilla or incomplete Fleet and Fleet as others already do, it was up to them.
A few more missions after their first hunting mission, Heian Ciemnosc commanded from the Offensive Frigate, and the battles only became heavier and bloodier then. His Team members learned more from them and him, and he slowly personally aided them to become the commanders he needed them to be in his possible absence. Be it during a battle, war, or just training and practice.
For a year, it was all about getting the hang of it. Then, after the first year since Heian Ciemnosc broke into the Dark realm, it was all about honing one’s battling capabilities and commanding for others.
Heian Ciemnosc spent quite some time with Anastasia and his wives, even though he spent nearly 90% of every day on his cultivation and checking his Eternal Return Team and the Frigates under its name. Anastasia was a tiny baby at the beginning, but she grew like any other ordinary baby would in the first year.
In the second year, Anastasia could already talk and cultivate! She started by eating many non-energy flora. Although she preferred milk and her father’s dishes, her teeth had all fully grown, and she germinated a tiny dark tail the size of a baby’s thump from her lower rear. She had dark nails, and her blood was 40% dark, like Heian Ciemnosc’s.
Her eyes were black, and her hair dark green, although she only sprouted a few stubs around her head.
Either way, Anastasia became the harem’s child everyone spent an 100% enjoyment with whenever it was their turn to take care of and teach the little lovable shit. Heian Ciemnosc spent less time with her than anyone else, but it was only natural, as there were too many Mothers she had to grow used to.
Nevertheless, Heian Ciemnosc had a cultivation base to increase. His Dantian storage was, as usual, much broader than anyone else’s. And when he started cultivating to the early Dark realm’s peak level, he already took a month just to do so. It could be seen that, as soon as he entered the phase where every other outstanding and even titled cultivator reaches fast but slows down like everyone else. He would suffer the most.
Others had slightly bigger tanks or better quality than most cultivators. But Heian Ciemnosc was a beast. He had already spent 2 years cultivating in the Dark realm, but he barely went from the Dark realm early to the Dark realm core level. This was a tremendous adventure to many, involving lucky opportunities, events, discoveries, and being filthy rich.
That was just what happened to Heian Ciemnosc. He was filthy rich because of the trips his Eternal Return Team twin Frigates took to space, and he used those silver coins and extra tens of thousands of Inferior grade Neutral Stones or tens of Supreme grade Inferior Stones to buy Craftsmaking and cultivation resources.
Heian Ciemnosc didn’t exchange for cultivation resources directly with money alone. He also made products of all kinds, from pills, potions, incense, and weaponry or armor sets to array formation discs.
It was a fortuitous business for him. His Second Step products had peaked beforehand when he was still at the Blauw Empire. But the Blackotia Kingdom was a Middle Kingdom, and he couldn’t find the means to help him train in the Third Step. After Heian Ciemnosc showed his Craftsmaking hand after remaining low-profile in that aspect for years, he finally showed himself!
When Heian Ciemnosc first showed his products, his little Universal Conveyance store in the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s forums went unnoticed. But after the statistics showed his electronic store having 200% efficiency from the get-go, it boomed like nobody’s fucking business.
It didn’t take long for Heian Ciemnosc to become ambitious and expand his little store’s corners, jumping to more forums as he built his skills and bought Third Step recipes, blueprints, and materials to start practicing. He used merit points or silver coins, depending on whether he bought them from the Faction or Universal Conveyance. He often visited Universal Conveyance terminals.
Slowly but surely. Heian Ciemnosc gained even more money as he turned his individual gains and bought goods into products, increasing his monthly revenue and sharing it with the Team’s bank. What was most important to Heian Ciemnosc was to rapidly reach the core Dark realm peak level, but he still used the money he got from selling products to improve their base.
The base now had 2 more floors, and each floor was 4 times the base’s original space. Heian Ciemnosc let the decorations and stuff to his Team members, keeping it how they and Beto wanted it, ensuring it wouldn’t look too alien when he returned.
On the other hand, Heian Ciemnosc’s cultivation method aided his Team the most. While he spent one day every week doing the same with the Team’s Frigates, he spent every possible minute helping them cultivate. Like this, while Heian Ciemnosc monstrously cultivated, his Team members caught the Faction’s attention with their efficient, rapid cultivation.
Clanton reached the 5th stage of the Mythical realm, Moy broke into the 10th stage of the Light realm, and was just 2 steps from being able to assail the Third Step’s gates! Cara elevated her cultivation base to the Mythical realm 8th stage and Sandra to the 6th stage. Ruo Wei and Loma reached the 8th stage, too. This was fashionably talented, considering Ruo Wei spent the second-most time in Craftsmaking from the rest of the Eternal Return Team.
… Today, 2 years and 2 months have passed since Heian Ciemnosc broke into the Dark realm. In the Eternal Return Team’s base, on the second floor, in the training room. Heian Ciemnosc faced Cara and Ruo Wei. Everyone was sweaty and exhausted, breathing from their mouths as their torsos rose and fell agitatedly.
“Hah, hah!” Ruo Wei gasped, nearly faltering as she bent her body, but she immediately exploded with force as she dashed towards Heian Ciemnosc. Cara was surprised, but only for half an instant, as she moved behind Ruo Wei 0.5 seconds later.
Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes looked down, following Ruo Wei’s trajectory. A pair of gauntlets appeared in her hands, covering her fingers and oozing with a pristine, white aura with a volume of 2 millimeters. A Sky weapon! Sky graded gauntlets!!
But, of course. With how rich the Eternal Return Team became, how could they not afford a few tens of millions to buy themselves at least one Sky weapon? All Heian Ciemnosc’s Team members could even pay the fee so the Crimsonbreaking Faction would proportionate them a Sky grade armor. And this was only until Heian Ciemnosc learned to craft them himself.
Step, step, step!!! Ruo Wei furiously rushed and arched her back as she floated upwards, sacrificing her speed to gain momentum as the gravity pull put her under harsh pressure, but her face only showed determination and tomboyishness!
Heian Ciemnosc looked up and raised his hands, directed to grab Ruo Wei’s wrists. At the same time, Cara rushed forth. Her hands summoned a sword and shield, with the same aura as Ruo Wei’s gauntlets and fiery, speedy wind covering their edges as she rushed and jabbed at Heian Ciemnosc’s abdomen!
… … … … fwip! Pah!!! WHOOSH! PSHIFT- SHIII- PSHIFT, PSHIFT!! BOOM! CRACK- THUD, THUD!...
Heian Ciemnosc didn’t hesitate as his 160,000 kg of bodily strength kicked at Cara’s incoming body with his left leg. Cara didn’t back down, not again, as she gritted her teeth and protected herself with her shield. Cara’s enhanced Neutral Energy protected her Sky shield from Heian Ciemnosc’s tyrannically mighty bodily strength. Even Sky grade armor and weapons are nothing before Heian Ciemnosc if they are left alone.
However, it wasn’t enough, and Cara was thrown away. Her mouth spouted some bits of saliva as she flew directly to Heian Ciemnosc’s right. Ruo Wei’s gauntlets were encompassed by warm light lime, but even with Heian Ciemnosc in a pose where his left side was vulnerable, she couldn’t injure him, and her mighty gauntlets couldn’t reach Heian Ciemnosc’s shoulders or head!
Then, Heian Ciemnosc’s Vocón Link exited his body, right above where his dark tail projects. The girls weren’t done, however. And as Cara passed behind Ruo Wei, still in the air, they both cast an Art to explode their Wind and Earth Arts, respectively, to blast Heian Ciemnosc’s face!
Heian Ciemnosc responded as his immediate surroundings changed. Particles formed like balls rolling down a cliff filled with snow, becoming bigger and gaining heaviness. They were dark and carried both Earth and Wind within them. He was prepared!
Their Elemental Arts simultaneously attacked, forming a flower with 17 petals, all made from Wind, while the pistil was made from Earth and exploded towards Heian Ciemnosc with enhanced Neutral Energy threats. They were guarded by their inner crystallized armor, but Heian Ciemnosc refused to use dark Neutral Energy to form his darkened skin other than at his hand and feet.
Heian Ciemnosc blew his dark Elemental particles towards them, forming a circle and pikes around it, with Fire suddenly covering their outlined figures as they rushed forth. It looked like a drawn sun but was made of the same Elements as their combined Art. Only his had Fire incorporated as the cream atop the pie.
BOOOOOOOOOM!
…
