Fuel The Fire
"No, no, no, no..." Heian Ciemnosc shook his head and waved his right hand at the idiots before him. Blauw Bristorm jolted her head backwards, and her eyes widened, not expecting Heian Ciemnosc to shut her trap. But he didn't give them any chance before directly swinging his wrist down and lowering his arm. His hand sounded with several 'pshift-click' as 5 dark claws emerged from his nails. Everyone became alert. Their eyes widened, and pupils shrank as even those pairs behind him took a stance.
“Are you gonna shut the fuck up and dance, or do you want to keep getting shit on verbally?” Heian Ciemnosc’s right hand showed his 4 inches long dark claws, drawing attention to his person with much more hostility and danger than ever. It was crazy for him, too. And if he hadn’t lived what he did in the past, he would’ve been pretty startled to have these people suddenly turn on him after 2 years of peace to ambush him and plan his early retirement.
“Esteemed Pavilion Head and Pastor, what do you say now? Can’t you see it even now that he is threatening us?!” Orsome, the Sand Emirate Grotto’s Grotto Master shouted, flinging his hand upwards at them and opening his mouth wide to exclaim. Pastor Miguel’s little smile remained, but he lowered his face, and the aura he expelled became somber with every passing second. The Pavilion Head was silent, but he nodded slightly with a firm and inexpressive face.
“... Move behind me!” True Dragon House’s Head, Blauw Monstorm, shouted, swinging his Earth jian sword from his left chest to beside his right knee. The others created a little formation behind him after nodding at each other and stood behind the Head and Vice head of the True Dragon House. Blauw Monstorm spoke again, while Head Mo Liao and Pastor Miguel maintained their position since they were too far from their ally group.
“This vile, corrupted Academy worker has gone rogue! I will send a warning to the Academy so they can apprehend him. But for now, attack him whenever I do! This bastard’s at the 8th stage, and we won’t be able to face him if we don’t all cooperate together. Follow me!” Head Monstorm shouted with effort before taking a long stride with his right leg forwards. Vice head Bristorm followed suit, “You’ve heard him. Stand behind us! We’ll lead the operation to drive this scum back to where it came from!”
“Ayayay, enough.”
Swish! Pshift- pshift, pshift, pshiiiiiftt~... boom, boom, boooooom~! Heian Ciemnosc hung his head and rotated his neck before keeping his head tilting leftwards. He disdainfully narrowed his darkest eyes before flashing his left hand with dark claws, leaving a dark flash in their retinas. But in the next second, he was already rushing towards them, flying at an incredible speed, but they could still see and react to it!
Blauw Monstorm and Blauw Bristorm were the first and fastest to put up a front. Their Neutral Energy emerged and covered their bodies. Without underestimating Heian Ciemnosc, their forearms gained azure scales, and their eyes turned draconic. Their eyebrows fluttered with their Neutral Energy as Blauw Monstorm’s Earth jian sword swung upwards and aimed at the little black monster’s incoming upper body.
The other responded altogether, seeing and reacting at nearly the exact same time. The weaker leading figures’ Neutral Energy was shared among each other outside their bodies, forming a type of barrier covering their front and up sides. Heian Ciemnosc arrived in a strange manner. His right claw descended towards them as his body leaned leftwards but only inclined. His left claw thrust forwards below his ribs, trying to gain the right angle before shooting towards them.
From his back, a tail-like thing seemed to spread backwards as he flew towards them as if it had become stuck somewhere he could use to jank his body out of danger. The Blue Emirate Grotto’s Vice master, Azulina, watched this and employed a rapid, long energy attack. As a puddle of Neutral Energy condensed and was shot towards Heian Ciemnosc’s Vocón Link, she suddenly realized that many small things, like dark blades, appeared around them like maggots coming from a corpse.
“!” Her eyes widened, and she wanted to turn her head, boost her throat, and shout at the top of her lungs to warn everyone else and try to neutralize some of the incoming dark wind blades. However, while she was having fun looking around, Heian Ciemnosc had already tightened his right fist and stiffened his left hand, causing the dark claws on the latter to suddenly look terrible and creepy.
Pum! Pom! Cuh! …Pshift~~! Swish, swish, swish, swish… Pshift~! Paaaaaahhh…
Blauw Monstorm took the brunt of Heian Ciemnosc’s sudden right punch. He utilized the Neutral Energy circulating in his body just in case and was glad to have prepared. The hit from Heian Ciemnosc’s punch completely destroyed the barriers and broke apart his jacket, landing squarely against his uniform and dislocating his bones before he rapidly accommodated them. However, Heian Ciemnosc suddenly emitted a noise through his nostrils, which made him look up to notice a cold grin from the left corners of those pale red lips.
Heian Ciemnosc was no longer playing, but his strength was obviously held back. If he didn’t use the battle prowess from his Neutrality realm 10th stage, these fellows would just be one shot by a trace of his dark Neutral Energy, even the traitorous Blauws. Although that Earth grade sword might save its owner’s life once. The only thing he wasn’t limiting himself with was his Spirit Sense and bodily strength… it wasn’t debased to stretch every now and then, anyway.
The dark wind blades started raining all around the group. Blauw Monstorm looked at his surroundings and understood that their current position was terrible and had to be changed. He waited 2 more seconds, reuniting his Neutral Energy before shooting backwards, “Disperse!! Attack from all sides!”
His yell wasn’t made purely out of desperation, as it ‘struck’ Heian Ciemnosc and sent him flying. While Heian Ciemnosc was sent flying upwards, he saw the little ants becoming even smaller started dispersing everywhere… targeting him.
Swish, whoosh, whoosh, whistle, whistle- whoosh! … Tararararara- boom! Boom! Booooom…! Dozens of figures moved towards him, leading figures from the top organizations and their vassals. Everyone moved in different directions and looked like missiles targeting the same objective. Some who dared attack the Ornament and ‘free’ the little royal princess were instead machine-gunned by it, and others directly turned into a cloudly explosion without any remains left.
‘Imperial Teacher… Little black monster? Mmn… good luck…’ Little Ish wasn’t sure what to think of anymore. After the first few leading figures from vassal organizations were downed by the Ornament’s defensive mechanisms, she no longer cared about them and looked up at the sky. The sight of dozens of contrails forming and targeting her teacher filled her with anxiousness, but she could only believe all the rumors and the words her mother used to praise him.
Pshift, pshift, pshift…! Heian Ciemnosc grinned a little as he started shooting small dark Neutral Energy blasts from his palms, thrusting them downwards and guiding them towards each leading figure. Those blasts were like bullets from a building-sized pistol, but also like missiles flying as they changed directions and followed the trajectory to land on their target. What’s more, they were faster than their flight speed, and despite their timely reactions, a vassal organization’s leader fell to one every half a second.
Boom, boom, boom, boom…! “Godamit! Protect yourselves first! Distract the little black monster. We’ll attack him alone!” True Dragon House’s Head shouted, throwing protective tools at his vassal organizations’ leaders before rushing upwards and zigzagged, using his Earth jian sword to deflect and cut through any dark Neutral Energy blast. The others followed suit with their own methods, with the Grottoes’ highest hierarchy finding it difficult but capable of ascending while defending themselves and the Pavilion and Cult’s respective highest hierarchy having it much easier.
The latter executed exquisite Elemental manipulation and flew through the Wind like it couldn’t be any more non-existent. On the other hand, the Pavilion’s Head and Grand Master rode their draconic birds without many feathers other than around their extremities and like a horse’s mane. Their eyes were yellow and green, and rhomboid-shaped pupils. They flew through the air, streaking even faster than the Cult’s Pastor and Preacher.
Pshift… pshift… pshift…! … … swung, swing, whoosh, swish! Po- pom!
Heian Ciemnosc watched as the Head and Grand Master arrived first. Their faces weren’t faking anything as they faced Heian Ciemnosc with utmost respect for his strength, which they had already witnessed. Closing in with their Creatures, they struck towards Heian Ciemnosc with their arms swinging left and right as the last dark Neutral Energy blasts passed by them after they dodged, or Heian Ciemnosc simply targeted more vassal organizations’ leading figures.

Heian Ciemnosc expressionlessly stopped sending those blasts, and his retreating speed diminished. His body no longer flew upwards and halted, but before it did, 2 fists came aiming at his face. Without even trying, he crossed his arms and stopped a fist coming for the left side of his face with his right palm and another with his left palm, directed to the right side of his face. Then, Heian Ciemnosc was bombarded with attacks, starting with the Head on his right and the Grand Master on his left sending a kick with their shins, aiming at his sides.
Furthermore, Pastor Miguel and Preacher Alex send 2 bouts of Light and Wind elemental attacks, respectively. Before those 2 attacks were even halfway through the air to land on Heian Ciemnosc like guided missiles like Heian Ciemnosc’s dark energy blasts from before, they sent a Wind and Light elemental attack, respectively. A beautiful contrast between 4 contrails emerged, one transparent grayish yellow and the other was simply a pure white light shooting up first, followed by the same colors but vice versa.
Tu- tom! Fwoh- fwoh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whiiiiistle- pah, pah! Whiiistle! Pshift!... Pshift~!~! Whistle, whistle- swoosh, swoosh! Boom! Boom!
Heian Ciemnosc grinned. His dark fangs showed, making everyone who was still rushing up towards him to stare with widened eyes… They couldn’t believe or understand how and why such ‘ordinary’ image settled inside their hearts and caused a primitive fear to rise! But then, Heian Ciemnosc faced off the incoming Light and Wind attacks.
Heian Ciemnosc first met the Head and Grand Master’s shins with his forearms, forcing them backwards and to his front to their disbelief. They couldn’t control their bodies and saw Heian Ciemnosc grazing his dark claws against their calves. They immediately exploded with their organization’s Art and escaped his grasp and possible mortal wounds. Right then, the first 2 Light and Wind elemental bouts came to him, threatening to blow his torso with 2 new holes.
His palms swapped in the opposite direction, flattening both attacks to his back. A pure white light charged behind his left, and a transparent grayish yellow bout flew past him to his right, exploding into an area of an adult human before dissipating soon after. But not even 2 seconds later, the remaining 2 Wind and Light attacks flew up towards him, directly stopping 15 meters before him and ‘rotating’ to face him before shooting at him!
Heian Ciemnosc could sense the threatening danger of these attacks… if he didn’t have a stupidly, brainlessly retarded body tempering innate ‘Supreme’ Art method. His body would end up with gaping holes, further destroyed over time by their Elemental properties. Instead, Heian Ciemnosc momentarily formed fists as dark Neutral Energy fully enveloped his palms and between his pale fingers.
Crazily, and as if life didn’t matter, Heian Ciemnosc… sent his hands forwards… to grab a hold of those Elemental bouts! As Head Monstorm, the closest to Heian Ciemnosc with Vice head Birstorm right behind him, looked at this, their speed slightly decreased, and their eyes widened enormously. Because… Heian Ciemnosc’s hands were completely fine!
‘... Hm… it seems more difficult than I thought.’ Heian Ciemnosc thought. Dark blood left his nostrils, streaming down his philtrum, and rounded to behind the left corner of his mouth. His shoulders trembled, and his hands were against the upper sections of his chest. The Light and Wind elemental attacks the Cult’s folk sent him were in them. The Wind bout wasn’t difficult to grasp in his right hand. It was the process that taxed him, but the Light elemental attack caused constant damage to his hand and wasted copious amounts of dark Neutral Energy.
After 3 seconds like this, and just as the Pastor and Preacher were closing in even more, frowning. Heian Ciemnosc suddenly opened his hands as his darkest eyes were ‘stained’ with some extra dark covering his sclera. However, the white was still visible, and although it didn’t seem to damage anyone mentally or scare them, they slowly felt some creeping sensation running up their skin from everywhere.
On the other hand, Heian Ciemnosc threw the Light and Wind bouts in his dark palms down… towards the Pastor and the Preacher. They flew at an incredible speed, instantly scaring the shit out of their brains as they exploded with Wind particles covering them, creating a pathway to slip away as those bouts were perfectly guided to their current position. More shockingly, while those bouts traveled down, they became… dark.
The Clashin Dust Cult’s highest hierarchy was like fish or squid escaping for their lives, and the truth wasn’t different from that. Just half a second before those bouts neared their position and self-detonated, both flashed away with their utmost under Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes’ indifferently observing glints. Then, the bouts exploded, bringing about a 50 meters explosive radius, with dark sparkles creating rumble and succumbing to everything they touched that wasn’t part of Heian Ciemnosc’s dark Neutral Energy.
Air and hidden Water particles were consumed before going, who knew where… at least for everyone else but Heian Ciemnosc, who felt his Vocón Link circulating with many Elemental particles in his body. But suddenly, Heian Ciemnosc turned his head to the left, and from the Ornament, Little Ish’s brightest, cutest aquamarine azure shrunk within the white of her eyes. In her head, bells ran frenetically. ‘Imperial Teacher! Imperial Teacher!!’
… thud!~!~! Swish- cuuuh! CLANK!~~~~!...
“!?” Blauw Mosntrom, who had just feinted an all-out attack with his left palm, whose attack was blocked by Heian Ciemnosc’s right elbow. And whose Earth sword tried beheading Heian Ciemnosc from his right trapezius muscle to his heart, found himself astonished like never before in his whole fucking life. Not even when his parents told him he would own what the Blauw Empire did for now, in the future.
When his sword swung downwards with his majestic Neutral Energy flashing around the golden blade, almost turning golden itself, flashing ever so proudly in Blauw Monstorm’s retinas, he felt inexplicably satisfied!! However, half a second later, he saw Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head to the right, nearly slapping the side of his sword. Yet, as if in slow motion, with an indifferent expression and darkest eyes looking ultimately coldly at him, Heian Ciemnosc lightly tapped that Earth grade sword with his right ear.
“!!!” Instantly, the Earth sword’s golden blade became stuck as its edge touched the back of Heian Ciemnosc’s right shoulder. Coupled with Heian Ciemnosc’s ear putting pressure on it, like a sword stuck in a rock, it didn’t budge no matter how much Neutral Energy Head Monstorm injected it with or which angle he moved it. His bodily strength wasn’t bad, but it was nothing comparable to what an Azure Dragon’s Bloodline in the Empire with the same cultivation base would have. Heian Ciemnosc saw it now. These ‘Blauws’ were definitely… strayed from their path.
Swoosh~... grab, fwoosh!! Swiiiiiish- futomp!
“...” After Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes glowed strangely, discomforting Head Monstorm. But before he could try retaking his Earth sword back, no longer caring about injuring Heian Ciemnosc right now, the latter’s left pale hand thrust into his right shoulder. Head Monstorm had no time to react. His body was jerked behind Heian Ciemnosc by his hand before being flung with an all-out throw. Blauw Monstorm’s body crazily spun irregularly, with bones breaking from the sheer force of the throw.
Only after Blauw Bristorm rushed to catch him and used her Neutral Energy together with his to stop him, suffering a little setback from the stupidly mighty force Heian Ciemnosc left on Blauw Mosntorm’s body, did she manage to help her House’s Head. Blauw Monstorm’s eyeballs uncontrollably rolled in their sockets with blood stains covering some spots. After he used Neutral Energy to momentarily recuperate, he looked directly into Vice head Bristorm’s eyes, grabbed her left shoulder, forming a claw with his right hand, but without harming her, and shouted. “We’ve got to destroy him… destroy him now! They can’t have this kind of helper!”
“They cannot!! They do not deserve this kind of power!!” His face became veiny. They protruded from everywhere, slightly bluing his skin and reddening from the previous assault. Blauw Bristorm could see his craziness, but after she saw and slightly experienced Heian Ciemnosc’s might, she too felt that way. Nodding at him, she resolutely spoke straight to his face while tapping his face to sober him up as quickly as possible. “He will be done. Nothing can delay the Empire’s fall.”
“Not even the gods!” Blauw Monstorm seemed to become alive and reasonable again, but only in his appearance. His words were still as vicious and obsessed as before. After nodding at each other once again, they looked at Heian Ciemnosc, who was actively fending off melee against everyone. His backands, forearms, elbows, knees, and shins were used to block any incoming attack. Sometimes, an elbow, weapon, or energy technique landed on his chest or back, but they all broke like crystal smashed against a rock.
His palms, calves, soles, shoulders, and sides of his head were used to ‘strike’ the others, sending them flying or throwing them, although the force they were sent flying was many times lesser than how Head Monstorm was thrown before. Every now and then, Heian Ciemnosc’s fingers would point and thrust, or flick, and a dark Neutral Energy vestige, as small as a person’s arm and as thin as one’s index, middle, and ring fingers put together. Thrusting or shooting towards the top 7 organizations’ leading figures or the remaining living leading figures from their vassal organizations.
“This… we must stop him now!” Blauw Monstorm lowly roared sternly. Blauw Bristorm solemnly nodded, and they were about to fly to rejoin the fight… when they saw something approaching from the distance.
“!!” Blauw Monstorm was, finally, too shocked to even ramble some more. It was Vice head Bristorm who inadvertently exclaimed with a light, incredulous tone. “How… can… how… do they… how can they do this?!”
On the horizon, from where the sea beautifully looked like an adorable blue with a few islands barely seen from the jungle’s skies, a dragon made of azure energy flowed up and down in the air, over several tens of kilometers long, and more than 40 kilometers wide… was flying towards them… faster than even they could fly at maximum speed.
…
