Wrath Nihility Academy’s Library
Besides the necessary expenditure on ingredients and keeping Jing Evan well cared for, Heian Ciemnosc's purse had less than 489,360 silver coins left. But beyond that, he bought pills and items to analyze and study them, from weapons, armor, and tools to pre-inscribed array formations. He even inspected some Fauna and flora taken care of by caretakers or alchemists. Such extra study sessions cost him 120,000 for the whole year, finally leaving him with 350,000 silver coins by the end of the year.
But that amount was more than enough for any Sub Student, even most Students only have some tens of thousands of silver coins at the end of every month once they have spent all of their well-earned money on their studies and other miscellaneous stuff. Heian Ciemnosc also bought food simply to perfect his chef skills. He now had a competition and had to impress the competition. Nothing better than returning to his Queen and Princess’s arms and letting them know his progress through his new and tastier dishes, right?
That also drained some silver coins, just to show how crazy things could go whenever Heian Ciemnosc took something seriously, despite the food ingredients being just that, food. Heian Ciemnosc achieved an expenditure of almost 20,000 silver coins in over a year, leaving him with 350,000 instead of nearly 370,000 silver coins.
The person to know of his culinary arts the most was none other than the lady who received a most beloved halberd of ‘regular’ size rather than a short one, and Mortal grade at that.
After Elena returned from her training with her master, she showed Heian Ciemnosc just how different it is from being on your own to having a master. She was at the Crabstynian realm in just over a month, in the 2nd stage, and though her cultivation base wasn’t fully stabilized, she oozed with might. Heian Ciemnosc couldn’t dare accept her sparring opportunities until the next couple of weeks when he also broke through to the 2nd stage of the Ashes Apperception realm.
But after she returned, she did so full of vigor and with the status of a Saberbone Diabolical Club’s leader in her eyes. For that, she had to beat Spirit Rebirth realm cultivators in the middle stages at the very least, so a long time before then would pass. Still, she often came with Heian Ciemnosc to the club’s headquarters. But also going out with Heian Ciemnosc to participate in fighting rings and gain some extra money, even betting on others.
But such things didn’t last long. They weren’t as exciting as going out on missions to exterminate organizations using the lives of many as fertilizer for spawning disgusting and illegal Sub-Fauna, even more so as they did so for the sake of power. After Elena returned, she and Heian Ciemnosc took some of those missions together, not most of them, but around half. They spent time together before, while, and after doing them.
It was especially so during the 6 months, the latter half of the year, when Heian Ciemnosc stopped sleeping and spent all his free time in the library. Following that strange bird’s advice, Heian Ciemnosc made quite the name and became well known among all Sub Students and most Students of the Wrath Nihility Academy.
Heian Ciemnosc would later on, as the latter half of the year came, with Elena, but no more in so much fighting or betting on others. More often than not, they started having calm discussions and simply watching over the obscure lands discolored by the night or the very skies.
Elena would simply start dancing for him, but not in that way. With her new halberd, made by Heian Ciemnosc by the 8th month of the year, she was finally taught an Art by her master. It was none other than an Art her master and masteress had delved into in their younger days. It was somewhat gracious, but it was majorly unadorned yet domineering. It didn’t contain any overbearingness, but Elena danced her Art slowly, giving Heian Ciemnosc sights of her and her body could have never seen before.
Her feet would move, but even Heian Ciemnosc could barely notice, even during the night, when he was seemingly capable of seeing everything, and nothing could stop him except anti-Spirit Sense clothing. He could only notice when her feet moved when they were already on their next stance, and she was slowly moving her body, brandishing her halberd so slowly it looked magnificently.
Each time she was during the process of swinging her halberd, as if dancing and turning about, she locked gazes with him as she wore a serious expression and appeared so determined. Yet, she was also shining and bright under the night, with pale skin and long blonde hair doing only honors to her image, while her Art did the rest of the work to make her seem like a mystic goddess.
As they were nearing the 10th month, even if they wanted to, none of them could deny the fact they were dating every night amidst their free time, and whenever Heian Ciemnosc took books from the Academy that were just simple but practical knowledge and could be brought out. It was simplistic, as they weren’t trying to impress the other. Nor did they show romantic feelings whatsoever. Only their company was well welcomed through the nights as their witness.
Nights were spent quickly. Heian Ciemnosc was mostly multitasking as he read so many books it made Elena roll her eyes for the first few months after he began going to the library. But by the end of the year, she would meekly press her forehead on either side of his body while lying on the ground or floor, with her right or left cheek against it as her nostrils smelled his natural aroma and was embraced below his arm on either side. The skies witnessed it all.
At the time when Heian Ciemnosc gave her the halberd, he did so only after 2 months and almost 3 of studying all sorts of Cratfsmaking forging books. The Wrath Nihility Academy had no ‘useless’ book, and their fantasy section for simple pleasure and enjoyment was well taken care of. But every book they had at the library, though not 100% different and unique, indeed had its own property, ideals, thoughts and provocative sensations.
Elena’s halberd was named Horror Blood Halberd. Heian Ciemnosc meant for her to name it, but when he showed it to her, she made him give it a name instead. After granting it an identification, the halberd gleaned a bright pale golden luster, which was the intended color for its Power Energy to be. It wasn’t like colors for the Mortal grade weapons were unique and couldn’t be changed, but one’s weapon was granted a marking, and this was it.
Just the same, Elena’s eyes grew brighter and rounder after Heian Ciemnosc named it. She immediately wielded it and swung it around, bonding it with her as her blood essence catalyzed their pact, with Heian Ciemnosc, its creator, witness and gave them a type of word-blessing.
Heian Ciemnosc didn’t shy away during the letter half a year. The moment he first stepped into the seemingly 2 floors-only building, he showed his medallion like he conquered the world just by doing so and demanded knowledge. Thus, the library staff, naturally aware of who this mothafacka was, let Heian Ciemnosc do as he pleased with his medallion being granted permission for any books at any time and with some conditions for certain authorized books and some not.
The first day, after Heian Ciemnosc entered the library. If it wasn’t because he had gained a strong perception of time some years ago, he would’ve missed a day of free classes, always helpful and necessary. Even more as Assistant Teachers would employ practices after rounding knowledge has been imparted to their students.
Those practices were very substantial, and no student wanted to miss them, as some Students would even take classes for such things. The faces of those Students showed just how crucial these practices were to them, warning the Sub Students of such fate though it wouldn’t be a 100% certainty they would listen. Still, practices were the most ‘fun’ within the classes all year round, especially for the crazy hungry ones for knowledge, such as Heian Ciemnosc.
But the things Heian Ciemnosc learned were what made him feel like he was a simple boy in a simple life. Suddenly learning all secrets about magic, it being true, of course.
One of the things that Heian Ciemnosc read first and foremost was what the library staff strongly advised him as soon as he was identified as the kid rumored to fight 2 whole realms above his own. It was called the [Disicplinary Laws of all that exists and there is]. Holding the absolute rule and power that nothing nor no one can bend. Laws and reality may change, but nature? Never!
There were less than a hundred such disciplinary laws, but as some of them, Heian Ciemnosc read were the most important. What really engaged him to read it first, as suggested, was its simple introduction. It read as follows: Signed by ever being and existence to have reached the highest. Minions of the world but rulers of the people. Every Universal Lands is witness and entrepreneur of these laws of creation, of nature. Unviolable and unquestionable, the world.

It wasn’t some sort of epic description, and it didn’t even seem to have been written any time soon… Almost as if these had been the rules every cultivator had known of since as a kid. Instead of stories, these would be told to their kids before going to sleep, over and over again. Not just the introduction. The entire set of ‘laws’ Heian Ciemnosc read afterwards. And sure enough, he only had to read a bit further to read the most shocking things he ever had.
These natural laws weren’t new, nor from the past few millions of years, which was something the current Heian Ciemnosc could still accept. These laws… have always been there! Before the Great Sage, before even spaceships! Before the world’s truth was discovered and way before Craftsmaking became the Craftsmaking Heian Ciemnosc knows and is passionate about and not just a job for cultivators. Way before the times when cultivators had an open, universal, and everlasting cultivation system!!
The ones Heian Ciemnosc considered the most important were named as follows: [Support & Supply Law], [Kingdom Safety Agreement], [Organizations Equal Universal Treat], [Life Integration of Organizations Laws], [Citizens and Cultivators], and [Glorious Nexus Entente]. Which were explained, mostly in short, subsequently.
The SS/L, also known as [Support & Supply Law], worked in function and correlation with the also-universal book [Resources Manual].
It was written that: — Organizations Steps of a higher level cannot interact directly with organizations Steps of lower levels. Trade can still occur between such parties, but only at a foolproof, heavily limited list and demand, according to the [Resources Manual].
It was also written that: — No support, of any kind, towards any organization can be done unless strict conditions are being met. For example, when aiding an attacked organization whose attacker is of a level not that much lower than the aiding organization, can they somewhat aid the attacked organization. But if all 3 parties are of the same level, the aiding organization can support the attacked organization unrestrainedly.
Furthermore, and lastly: — One can only support any organization of a lower Step level when a Step organization is attacked and enters a war, in which case, only one organization of a higher Step level can aid said organization Step.
The KSA, also known as [Kingdom Safety Agreement], simply complemented what would be the horrors of all life should this law actually not exist.
It read as follows: — A Spaceship with at least 1 type of each high-end technology (except for rocket launchers) such as machine guns, artillery, or more than 2 types of each will not be allowed to attack from orbit and other Space, Dimension, or Dominion. Nor within any Kingdom (only Frigates and Fighters without many modifications are allowed to).
The OEUT, also known as [Organizations Equal Universal Treat], was both a warning for the strong and a reminder for the weak that whoever is strong is strong for a reason.
Its contents were also simple: — Under no circumstances whatsoever (only if directly and purposely targeted in any/all possibilities) will a higher organization Step attack a lower organization Step. But should a lower leveled organization Step attack a higher leveled organization Step, the higher organization Step will be allowed to retaliate on a full-out basis against the perpetrators.
The LIOS/L, also known as [Life Integration of Organizations Laws], is the smallest of ‘limitations’ to the Steps, for only at particular Steps can an organization spread out and conquer the world, Kingdoms, or more.
It read as follows: — 1.- Only a top notch First Step organization can make an army consisting of cultivators and have citizens operating without taking any offensive roles for any motive or reason. — 2.- Only a Second Step organization can form a (all and any) business. And only a top notch Second Step organization can expand it outside their Galaxy.
— 3.- Only a Third Step organization and higher can form wars of a world-wide scale (them against the Kingdom or causing the entire Kingdom they are situated in to be riddled in one war at the very least). This is instead of being limited to only retaliating. — 4.- Only a Fourth Step organization and higher can form bases in space that can be as large as a Universe, and only a top notch Foruth Step organization can expand through the Universal Lands.
— 5.- Only a Fifth Step organization can rule over an Existence (1 only, but can fill with vassals more, and they can represent the Fifth Step organization they belong to). And finally: — 6.- Only a Sixth Step organization can rule over Existences full-fledgedly. While only Existential Sixth Step organizations can rule over a Universal Land and vie for becoming the one sole ‘lord’ over all of the Universal Lands: the Loss Eternal Universal Lands.
The C&C, also known as the [Citizens & Cultivators], is a law that protects the almighty from the powerless during a battle or any situation possible. But also a cruel extermination punishment for any who dare to disobey it on purpose.
It read as follows: — Under no circumstances should a cultivator ever attack a civilian or citizens’ people. Doing so, especially non-combatant troops, will have the immediate death sentence and be marked by ‘the red’ of the [Glorious Nexus Entente]. Marked by the red, even Existential Sixth Step organizations can join in the hunt for the criminals of the world and nature as a whole. Only when a citizen or civilian directly attacks a cultivator on purpose is the attacked side allowed to exterminate all the citizens and civilians who attacked them without any hidden, malignant purpose.
Lastly, from the most important natural laws in Heian Ciemnosc’s eyes, the GNE, also known as the [Glorious Nexus Entente]. This was when Heian Ciemnosc noticed a peculiarity, as the GNE was, in truth, the same as the Disciplinary Laws in all that exists and there is. The natural laws and the world itself!
It read as follows, and in short: — The heaviest and, by far, the grandest marvel of all that exists and there is. Signed by all beings in the world, even to other groups and sets of Universal Lands. Where beings and existences are in the millions. There was also a slight mention of the Great Sage being the only one to have ever seen such ‘natural-owing’ law. Which Heian Ciemnosc came to know of soon after.
When breaking laws and their derivates in accordance with the GNE, written by the world itself, nothing can stop it, and the world will bear witness to the criminals’ acts.
It was previously known as the Nexus Entente before the Great Sage’s Change. But when the Great Sage tried attacking it, miserably failing to the point he had to rest for a whole Archeon, all in order to fully recuperate himself, which was also the time when his tyranny only showed with the might of his armies.
Once any law is truthfully broken, said law-broken individual will be marked with humiliation with absolute will. But the GNE’s might vary depending on the criminal’s act, from just being marked by the red to indirectly harmed by the world…
These laws, which completely rocketed Heian Ciemnosc’s words, head, and understanding of the world, were known by all except for him until the day he read through the Disciplinary Laws. Also known as natural laws. Heian Ciemnosc was so shocked he could only be woken up and sobered by Elena after she was called. Heian Ciemnosc had her as a contact in his medallion, and such things could be read by Supervisors on special occasions, such as a Sub Student losing it in the middle of the library.
Afterwards, Heian Ciemnosc was simply more careful. He studied these laws very well, feeling like they were more than just significant and feeling like a part of him and everyone else who breathes or moves in any way throughout this world. His eyes were opening ‘more and more’ to the truths everyone has been aware of, more and more…
Heian Ciemnosc began reading the basics of everything, starting from Craftsmaking with alchemy to Spirit Sense and… the names, realms as well as stages within each realm of the higher Steps!
Souls and Elements were also, of course, read thoroughly and in excess. But Heian Ciemnosc didn’t dare delve into those subjects directly without being a Student. So he could only read theoretical and experiences of old geezers. But most of those books were written by people who died a long time ago.
That was also one of Heian Ciemnosc’s most important reads to understand the highest levels of time within the world, its different words and meanings, and all of it was within his grasp. He just had to exchange time. The most substantial books Heian Ciemnosc read were protected by an array formation. One that was way beyond Heian Ciemnosc’s understanding, which naturally marveled the pale, growing teenager slowly becoming the adult his Mother taught him to be.
Those array formations protecting the books and their contents forced anyone who wanted to go through them to read them by eye. It would interact with their inner selves to the point they couldn’t even read it rapidly and were ‘forced’ to read at a civilian’s pace. Yet, not Heian Ciemnosc nor anyone could ever think how someone would dare not to read these books, this… knowledge and natural truth.
