Wan Kangzhe
"I will." A just, formidable, and simply solid voice sounded from a few tens of meters away from her. A young boy of about 16 years old stood up from his seat, a handsome face with a large scar on the left cheekbone of his face right below his eye and that was at least 7 cm long and 3 cm wide at its belly.
His right cheek had several smaller and less visible scars, as the one on his left cheek was of a grayish nature; for whatever reason. His eyes, however, were of a black that was as pure as its opposite word ‘impure’ is the perfect fit for it. His sharp eyebrows and a mouth that were closed, and despite his seriousness and stern aura despite his young age were all so attractive.
He stood up and said those words to her, the blondie willing to lend her money so ‘fairly’; but he was looking at Ciemnosc as he did. The blondie looked at this man, and after assessing his cultivation level and face, information about him came to her pretty head, making her narrow her eyes before intelligently attracting the hearts of the crowd towards her.
“Very well, I’m incredibly indebted to you with this favor. I won’t pester you with any more words as you’re even putting your life in a play just because of me, so I wish you the best of lucks.” She spoke softly but loudly and affirmatively, all that made the young woman sitting beside her to make a scowl with her face; silently.
“Mn.” The teenager nodded his head after giving miss blondie a side glance, not even presenting her with a greeting, while a fatty with similar cocoon dreadlocks but of a shorter volume than that of the impaled and deadass cocoon haired ‘cat’ went over to deliver exactly 17 Supreme grade Powerful Stones into the young man’s hands.
And, in case, just in case; someone wanted to ‘take a look’ at them, the fatty showcased his full cultivation base without being harmful to the rest of spectators. Ciemnosc directly senses the level of power exactly the same as the referee, he brought his left index finger to his lower lip but didn’t touch it and frowned a bit; pensive.
“Here you go,” the fatty said to the serious teenager, who equally responded with a murmur but this time without even giving the former a side glance. On the other hand, the handsome, just, and respectable looking teenager slowly walked down toward the arena as the crowd around him began talking.
“Wan Kangzhe?” - “It is him…” - “He doesn’t care about his fiancee’s broken marriage arrangement anymore? Been too depressed yet?” - “Hah, yeh, it seems he finally got tired of tearing up, but now it seems like that little kid is going down. For real this time.” - “Nah, bullshit.” -
“For real! I’m telling you!” - “Nay.” - “Wan Kangzhe has always been powerful, even when he was faced with his fiancee’s playboy whom she cheated on him with hundreds of times according to her dazed words that day after she and he…you know, ahem. Even then, and with the playboy’s background allowing him a Mortal grade weapon, he was defeated by Wan Kangzhe!”
“Yeah, but instead of getting the girl back due to a bet, he got the Mortal grade weapon back instead, right? Right?” - “Mhm, wow, a fellow gossiper, howdy!” - “Howd!” - “...” - “...Yet, after saying the words: ‘even this blade, which I’m about to break, is more valuable than a traitorous person like you!’ towards his fiancee, before breaking it.” - “Wooaah, so handsome~! I want him to break me~...” - “Shut up, bitch, I’m tryin’ to explain! And then, after months of learning under a renowned Craftswoman outside the sect, and then forged that blade into his own blade!” - “Wow, so emotive, I want him to forge me into his plaything.” - “Shut up, he ain’t gay!” - “Oww…”
‘Aaah, what a day to come out. First, that weird blonde beauty added me up a few years…it somehow… Why do I feel bothered by it? Never mind, then, this poor man, who is looking for death, there really is no worst day I could have picked, huh?’ Ciemnosc monologued inside his head, shaking his head a little bit, appearing to be disapproving of the history told by the others as everyone could hear them as people talked about it all around.
“Ciemnosc,” the tragic teenager called out, his voice was a bit raspy, and as he stopped right before the arena’s exit/entrance, he raised his right arm with a blade already being grasped by his hand. The crowd became ‘ooos’ and ‘woaaahs’ as they felt the unique properties of a blade they’ve never seen before but could only dream of!
“Mm, hwat?” Ciemnosc distractedly reacted. He could read anything that happened in his 80 meters surroundings and hear and see even better, the light up above in the skies was already a bit more light blue, but he still spoke a bit befuddled at the call from that Wan keke or whatever it’s called.
“Tsk. Ciemnosc, you are so young yet have killed without thinking, killed without purpose and even more so…killed for the sake of money only!” Wan Kangzhe said, neither too slow nor too fast, simply as if retelling a whole story short and simply - for idiots to barely understand. Ciemnosc responded flatly along with some nods, “Yeah- yuppies, aha.”
“Can you, right now, give me any word telling me why you must do this?! Who is convincing you or favoring you for the sake of this?!” The young woman, blondie, at the side of the other young woman was slightly frowning when Wan Kangzhe corrected her words of Ciemnosc being a man, to now being ‘too young’ instead. But when he spoke his next words and mentioned something very clear, she looked at the young woman seated to her left and gave out a tiny, knowing smile~.
“Oh, her.” Ciemnosc right away pointed at the beauty he’s been performing forever since the first ordinary fight. He then supported his right elbow on top of his left forearm and gazed at Wan Kangzhe without blinking. On the other hand, the beauty in the crowd gave out a chortling snort and smile ever so little.
“Why?” Asked Wan Kangzhe, seemingly looking at himself in this 6 years younger, small, and ignorant powerful boy. Ciemnosc said without considering his big dick manly pride, “I wanna know her name so I’m killing people in my name for the cause of knowing her, there.”
“...” It was Wan Kangzhe’s turn to blink a lot of times, while Ciemnosc remained blinkless for that matter. The beauty seated smiled a bit more, which didn’t escape the blondie’s bright azure eyes this time, and her effect from such was obvious. She swiftly turned her head around, almost brutally, and shrilled out. “Wan Kangzhe! I asked and gave you not to chat but to fight and kill!”
“Eh-heu!” Wan Kangzhe coughed lightly, his body pushed forth with the brunt of that yell reaching his back, white on the other hand. The referee protected both him, Ciemnosc, and the barrier from her move just now with the help of a mighty tool linked to the arena and stadium itself.
“M’lady, please, if you ever do that move again. I will be forced to ask you to leave.” The referee warned the blondie, who reacted with a bit of a distracted countenance and cocked her head a few times a little before sitting down and calmly and elegantly composing herself.
“Ahem, Mr. Wan, please decide whether or not you’ll be fighting. If not, please return the Powerful Stones back to-” Before the referee could continue on in his advice, Wan Kangzhe took a step forward, raising his left hand, and quickly handed over the 17 Supreme grade Powerful Spirit Stones to him and continued his footsteps onwards the arena’s entrance.
“Very well,” with emotion almost choking his dry throat, the referee took them and placed them down the ‘well’ of money of the arena today. Sooner than later, the entrance opened and a blade-wielding Wan Kangzhe entered it, his left hand now holding the blade’s body, probing it softly like caressing a pained lover’s face.
“Cool blade~.” Commented Ciemnosc, but Wan Kangzhe only glanced up at the boy before lowering his blade once more. The blade he had, which was a full fledged Mortal grade weapon, was at least 5 inches thick, with an all on each side of the blade, looking more like a cutlass with an almost non-curved blade and very thick, but short handle at the other end from the roughened tip.
It had a gray, corrupted-like steel that didn’t look like any of Ciemnosc’s Mortal grade swords. And the non-lethal part of the semi-curved blade had a perfectly silver steel color instead, almost bright white and shining without the use of anything; innate.
“I made it with…my blood.” Wan Kangzhe responded, leaving Ciemnosc breathless, breathlessly with headaches. ‘My Mommy, you see that it is not your son who wants to kill, it is them who wants to get killed.’

“Okay, okay; alright.” Ciemnosc put a stop to these exchanging words-moments and cut the air before his knees with his eyes closed, keeping all tension from raising up and garnering attention to himself. He then opened his eyes, which were really tightly shut, and under Wan Kangzhe’s weirded out eyes, he took his straight stance while facing Wan Kangzhe.
“You two…” The referee finally took a breath in sharply but said with a breathless demeanor before falling silent. And just as the crowd was thinking he fell asleep, somehow, the referee loudly announced with heroic sensations traversing the entire floor through his throat! With his cultivation base aiding him in the process!!
“...Until death, FIGHT!!!”
“FIGHT!!” - “FIGHT!!” - “FIGHT!!” - “FIGHT!!” - “FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT…” The crowd followed right after, both the young boy and teenager faced each other without any clear hatred between them and with money in between their goals - only their eyes looking at each other differed. The boy’s darkest eyes were as indifferent and serene as always, while the teenager was completely focused on the boy’s body and blade, lamenting the ways of others.
“You go, Ciemnosc…” The warm brown haired young woman softly whispered, gaining another turn of the head of the blondie, who then returned to face the arena once more, her fists forming and tightening so hard she didn’t even notice herself gritting her teeth harsher!
“It is for your own good. I won’t let others use you - as I was used. You’ll die before me today, Ciemnosc, but my hands will be guilty with your blood, and from here on carry on the strenuous resolve of your might and innocence.” Wan Kangzhe lifted his left hand, palm facing skywards as he spoke, an aura of something emanating from him somehow.
“Ah…” Ciemnosc slouched his shoulders and looked ahead at the Wan Kangzhe whose head was…somewhere, perhaps, alive. But without being impolite, he only resorted to his mind, ‘Sometimes one can really find weirdos, wonder how Mommy dealt with these shits, she must have been so strong…’
“You see, I saw you deal with that fellow you tormented before, you don’t seem to know much about Elements. Which, well…it is normal, given your actual age.” The raspy voice sounded and sounded. Ciemnosc heard and heard as Wan Kangzhe continued, “As such, I will allow you to witness more about them before you go before I free you.”
“Before, you witnessed the might of the Wind Element, but that Wind Element wasn’t even poorly trained, so barely anything could be seen. At most, he was able to strengthen his body, or enhance it, with the Wind Element to gain speed and nimbleness.” While speaking, Wan Kangzhe’s left hand seemed to become the beacon of an ever so light green light, which turned to air and began moving all across his body just like the transparent yellow did before; ‘air’.
“But when one truly knows their Element, which can be a gift that no one else could gain,” Wan Kangzhe continued, the arena’s floor beneath his feet becoming somehow more majestically as if something had turned it more alive, into a living and breathing life form. “And they train it, properly and vividly, they can do this…”
Fwush fwush fwush~.
The very light green ‘air’ around Wan Kangzhe suddenly went up and down his body at the exact same time. His front, back, and profile angles became blurry, no longer clearly visible. And his entire aura became ever much stronger, despite having a cultivation at the 8th stage of the Spiritual Condensation Realm, he was giving pressure even to those in the 1st stage of the Link Consolidation Realm.
“THIS!” Wan Kangzhe semi bellowed, ostensibly affected by the very own power he was feeling and filling himself up with. At the same time, his body began showing a manliness that wasn’t there before. And as his body became one with the very light green ‘air’, he seemed to become more radiant in light green with his clothes ripping open from such a blatant surge of strength!
“Power can only be gained, Ciemnosc! Only the powerful can gain it all!” Bellowed once more the teenager whose muscles and even part of his upper, handsome butt were showing to the ladies falling off their seats, and some boys too ah. He declared as well as loud as he has been so far, “And after I kill you, I’ll revenge us both for being used by those 2 people within the crowd~!! You will see!”
‘What shit do this be?’ Ciemnosc was, however, with an ugly face. And though it appeared to outsiders, to all those who saw it to believe he was having a hard time not running away and screaming for help - which was punishable by death; he was instead thinking with disgust. ‘That previous guy was barely anything new I’ve seen through forests, and he only had a tiny bit of it all. While you have instead ‘2’ tiny bits of that. What’s wrong with this one?’
Stomp~!
With just one single step, without even putting any noticeable strength, Wan Kangzhe was able to make a loud sound with his left foot on the floor of the arena, therefore making a greater sound afterwards with his right foot as he placed some strength into it.
Stomp~, stomp~, stomp~, stomp~...stomp- crack! Stomp- crack! Stomp- crack!
After a series of steps, the teenager’s footsteps…finally made changes to the floor of the arena. When he took a slight pause to reconsider, the next time, his right foot suddenly made a crack in the arena which hadn’t been broken even when Ciemnosc had impaled quite a few strong, tough guys from a very high altitude of more than 3 meters.
Even at those times, the swords he had would only enter into the arena’s floor a mere centimeter before ‘a lot’ of strength was needed to be used in order to unstuck it. Well, it was now being cracked up by every light and normal step that Wan Kangzhe made; towards Ciemnosc.
When looking at the approaching teenager towards the boy, the crowd fell silent in anticipation for the brawl to start; blondie and the young woman beside her silently focused as well. Maybe she didn’t warn Ciemnosc, when she wanted to and also to tell him to go down the arena and that she would protect him if he wanted to - because she could. But no matter what she did not do, her frown and slightly puckered out lips demonstrated how much she was hoping…Ciemnosc would kill the other one instead.
Stomp! Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!- sswwiiishhh~~!~!~!
In the arena, just as Wan Kangzhe was closing in and already 10 meters away from Ciemnosc, the latter struck as he made the first move; his move and rushed at the former with light steps and his body so wholly inclined forwards that it looked as if he was trying to climb mountains instead!
The sudden rush wasn’t expected, but still not out of the teenager’s reaction speed. He immediately raised his right arm holding his blade to cover his chest with his body and his head and neck from the left, while his left hand covered any openings towards his heart. Because he knew, even if he could see Ciemnosc’s movements, he might not be able to move as such when in the state of making use of his Earth Element talent and potential; affinity.
‘I…I-I can’t see it- him!’ Just as he formed this position, Ciemnosc had never gotten out of his straight stance even as he ran, which was in fact the reason he looked like such when he rushed forth!
At this moment, Wan Kangzhe’s eyes opened wide, hoping to see any clear movement from Ciemnosc, but also because of shock! Shocked that he was still not able to catch Ciemnosc’s figure clearly despite having five stages of difference with such a little boy! How could this be?! He became aware of all predicament the moment he felt a waft on his right ribs.
Phhshk!... Phhshk, phhshk phhshk phhshk phhshk phhshk phhshk!
Wan Kangzhe felt a blade’s coldness reach just about 4 inches deep into his body, hurting but not injuring the organs and bones it touched due to the already ‘overflowing’ Power Energy which to Ciemnosc it was below laughable, let alone ‘worse than mediocre’. Oh no, Ciemnosc continued, he didn’t just brainlessly stab a slowed down individual by their own efforts once and called it a victory - and he didn’t target the same spot twice; because each of his 8 total stabs were all in a different place!
“Aaah~, agh!” Wan Kangzhe first felt his skin being pierced at his ribs, stopping right before being able to go through his lungs and leaving slight dents on his bones. Then at his back 3 times in different places, mostly attacking the left-back side of his ribs. Then his right hand’s knuckles holding the Mortal grade blade which even after attempting to escape such attacks with some other counterattacks of his own, Wan Kangzhe failed completely - only ending up shocking himself yet even more in the process.
“Guwhaaah!” Then at both his thighs from the back, penetrating them fully and, somehow, not being able to hold that damn blade with his muscles, bones, Power Energy, and his Earth Element!!
But finally, at his right foot, which Wan Kangzhe seemed very proud of when he was walking around, Ciemnosc not only stabbed and injured his leg, he even impaled the teenager’s foot with the whole sword that became stuck on the arena’s floor!!
Whoosh.
Ciemnosc suddenly appeared behind Wan Kangzhe, 4 meters behind the teenager, but was swordless and bladeless and only looked at the latter with upturned eyes and his head lowered, looking dark and preying on Wan Kangzhe’s senses.
“AAAH! Aaaahh~!” Agonizingly shouting in slight rage, the ‘honorable’ teenager roared while picking up his right knee and trying to lift it along with the sword that impaled it to the floor. But the more he tried, the more he realized…that it was impossible!
“You’ll see, Ciemnosc!! CIEMNOSC! I’ll show it to you! The power that Elements can gather towards the individual, for a chosen one!”
Not because his foot was stuck because the blade was stuck!
‘H-how is this possible, HOW?!! I’ve seen him do it effortlessly. Why can I not do that too?!?!’ Though he was fully roaring and showing a fiery countenance with the very light green ‘air’ ‘condensing harder’; at the very next 12 seconds of trying, Wan Kangzhe finally realized; that he would no longer get out of ‘this’ mess…
Kulh kulh kulh-sshglaaghh-!-!~!
…through the rest of the battle.
