Chapter 259 — The Seed Of Rage, Decimating Evil

The Seed Of Rage, Decimating Evil

Ciemnosc raised his hands to his head - slowly and steadily. But as a mixture of past memories and surging emotions from the same came knocking at it, he began trembling. His body started swaying, moving slightly to the sides, back and forth, or left and right. Diagonally, and coming up and down a few inches in his pose, as if he was going to fall at any moment.

He started stumbling about more and more, his head swaying with the loss of consciousness but still keeping his awareness intact, and he was also quite conscious of anything was happening to him. But not at the same time. And yet again, that wasn’t what placed Ciemnosc in such confusion, slight pain, and… terror; even.

The Psychogenic and Dantian Links were no longer left alone, and there was a burst of light with an orange color that was fulminating with dark shadows of flames, tentacles, and simple shades altogether.

The more Ciemnosc felt this way, the more the vision of his inner self was shown more transparent and stable. But even his inner vision was tumbling about, while the outside world was much like a record of memories that his eyes were going through, no longer appearing real anymore. And then, when Ciemnosc finally gazed at that burst of light, he realized that it was so tiny it could be comparable to his first claws, of an almost invisible size.

But it reminded him of something. His body outside halted, seemingly finding shelter amidst the strangest of situations. His inner vision became perfectly stable. His eyes locked onto that orange burst of light, surrounded and tainted already by shadows, shades, and gloominess around him. Despite everything being so dark, ultimately dark and more obscure than any abyss of the legends, Ciemnosc had never felt blind here. And now… as this burst of light showed itself, he began to feel as if he knew everything around him, in his inner self.

This darkness, it all seemed his and in his knowledge. Just like Creatures seem to be all over the back of his head, but it is not enough to ‘simply’ know, and he could only rely on others’ knowledge. But this time, Ciemnosc was very well aware of his inner self. And he… felt peace. If he tried to, right now, he would fall asleep. He felt.

He remembered it, now more than ever, plastered all over his eyes in the physical world as it blurred and slid away from the rest of the world. His youngest self, his lonely and unknown arrival in this world, and the meeting… The reason for his knowledge of warmth. Of knowing it… of appreciating it… And of hurting.

“...You’re going to grow big, strong, intelligent, clever, crafty and…and…and very shrewd! That way, you won’t be tricked like Mommy, and if you find someone you love, even if it’s more than one, which is fine, and I allow it. It will be your wonderful partners, and they- they… they have to be the most amazing ones! You gotta make Mommy proud, hear me~?”

“And you don’t have to remember me forever when I’m gone. I’ll make sure you get to a good cultivating organization when you grow old enough. Just make me the best Mother in the world by reaching higher than this foul sky, alright?”

“But- sniff- ah. I- Mommy would also like to have you remember her, too- sniff, forever.” - “Your Mommy’s name is Xi Jidong. I know you, my son, is very intelligent. I have never seen anyone so wonderful, brilliant, and powerful as you, my love.”

“Which makes me proud like you could never be able to tell. It makes Mother very, really proud, my love.”

“I love you, dear. Grow up, and…and conquer the world to make Mommy proud even more, show them who my son is, his worth and…and lots of envy of having a Mother that loves her son so much. So, so so much. Mwwwah! Mwaah…”

“AAAH…” A loud exclamation went out of Ciemnosc’s mouth as the memories blacked out, leaving nothing left for him to hear, feel and want. His hands went to the back of his head without holding any part of his head, simply grazing through his slightly medium-long blackest pitchest hair. It didn’t end there. Just as he began barely moving and tears fell from his eyes, with dark ‘spots’ flickering in and out of existence within his sclera, short but precious moments spent around a raging fire were next. He wasn’t alone. Around the fire were pieces of comforting peace.

“...And here I thought you said you never sleep, my dumb boy.”

Numerous times meeting each other, innumerable times touching each other. Despite not being the first person he involved himself with, Ciemnosc thoroughly adored those moments. Only after ‘it all’ had happened did he no longer go through such precious recollection. Be it a brown skin beauty or a bright, pale skin… They were too far away now, way too far.

When his arms became heavy by their presence, when their ‘presence’ was gone but their bodies still weighed on his arms, he felt death again. Not for the first time, so intimately, but it broke him just as much as the very first time it ever happened.

“Kah…” Ciemnosc fell to his knees from high above the air. His body rushed downwards as if looking to hammer itself down and destroy itself while his hand returned to his face. But it continued, despite how thoroughly tired he felt by now and after so long.

"...Philosophy, ideologies, greater picture - not ‘good’; and matters of the heart.” - “Those are what matters for one to grow, talent and skill comes with practice, but one’s thoughts are one’s own and only when they can…materialize from people’s heads…can they truly be creators!” — A first teacher; mentor. But it changed not the relationship he had with him, and was betrayed anyways.

“...Then you would rather go through hardship, being forced to endure personal torment and learning on your own than smooth travels, letting others suffer instead of yourself and be taught. Isn’t that right?” “Then why would you use your Power Energy, Powerful Stones, and array formations just to take care of life so directly and invasively?"

“Whether is killing, just kill. Whether is loving, just act. And if it is facing… anything; problems, enemies, forces… don’t ever hide.”

“Having children is the universal law, and the greatest sin is for a parent to cease existing before their children. Still, I think the saddest of sins is never having something and someone… not even at least one of those. And that the worst sin is the one of never having had children, certainly… I think that one is the worst…” — Almost another mentor, perhaps would’ve been someone close, too. But his body didn’t become a painting just out of carelessness too.

“...Milord, there is a whole world out there. What we have in this little broken place is but the beginning. Compared to whatever the real history of this world is, much before what the current records can imagine, what are we?” - “... It takes only a wonder to think how in all that exists and there is, a world so big like this could be so small in progressing.” — A queen, a new lover. A person who wanted him to become hers and to protect him. Granting him not only resources and knowledge that is denied from any other, to the point of massacring and declaring war to other organizations since their uprising.

He had barely started his journey. Ciemnosc had spent not even a full 3 years out in the path of cultivation. But he had known people and got to know the most powerful to the most extraordinary kind in his eyes. In his heart. In his mind and… in his ‘that’ something.

In just 3 years, he went from being a little kid with the appearance of a 15 years old teenager to a young-looking man with a cultivation of the Conflagrate realm 1st stage and able to kill Ashes Apperception realm 1st stage Creatures. Creatures. Who were already notoriously stronger than any cultivator in the same stage, even so than the beasts. Who are their gods and masters for life in bloodline and by choice.

If Ciemnosc wasn’t a thundering shocking person, what was he? It mattered not that he may possibly not be human, or a beast for that matter. Much less an elf or a demon, whose appearance, even when mixed, is told in the books to be distinctly clear, and he had none of it. Never hiding his body and never hiding it from certain people, even some peepers. He also knew his own body entirely, with the different being ‘that’ something and the unique but ‘all and everything’ blood coursing through his body.

Stolen novel; please report.

“!!...” Ciemnosc ‘s eyes opened in a snapping notion. His irises and pupils were excruciatingly shrunk, but that was barely noticeable as it was all black and ultimate darkness. His hands held the top sides of his head, their mound of venus pressing hard against his head, but began softening after he opened his eyes.

Looking into the distance, into the void. Ciemnosc saw the images of so many faces… The stronghold, outposts… The workshop… The people under gramma Jing Zhu’s command, and even the disappeared Mosto… The Preferential Light Justice Sect’s admirer who died by his hands so willingly despite not wanting to, despite wanting to be with him. Lena.

The unforgettable of an incredibly cute, adorable, and tender young girl. With wavy hair and golden-like hair. A body that was violated by his eyes and teased by him at any moment he wanted to. And her awkward yet fitting relationship with her ‘Big Brother’... always caring for her and keeping her safe. Perhaps until she was marriable. So they could have little cute, tender, adorable little girls and boys, or stern-faced and cold, reasonable little girls and boys. No more…

Gramma Jing Zhu herself who, despite all obstacles and not seeing each other anymore, where their last moment seeing each other, Ciemnosc wasn’t even able to look at her properly nor be looked back at by her. She still… simply sacrificed herself and all her efforts to protect him. Without her intervention, he would’ve long been on a table, and his body played with however the ‘scientists’ of the cultivation world wanted.

The big girl and the man. The little kids trapped in this world that did not seem to belong to… His precious Sister he lost communication with long ago… All he hoped was she managed to find her man and could start her own path way before him. Because he, just as he does with anyone ‘leaving him’... no longer felt they were ‘here’ since so long ago.

“KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!” The image of that one young woman, naive to his knowledge of her real identity. Not knowing he always knew she spent every free time she could around him, following and tailing him like he was her target. And every time she was sent on a mission, and she actually disobeyed him, remaining behind at the stronghold and sending others to do the job. While she kept looking at him and following him everywhere.

Even when he spent time with Valeria, even as she knew he wasn’t playing chess with Valerian in there. Yet, she always remained there and only moved when he came out, sometimes sneakily building a mini-tent nearby with an ear put to his every move whenever he came out. What a unique person she was.

“!!!” Ciemnosc felt his limit come. He no longer felt his body as if he was about to lose it all. Not even the sensation of a light-headed moment remained. All he felt was numbness. And even his hands felt his body like a cold steel plate as they lowered and slowly brought backwards. Ciemnosc’s eyes began losing sight but also gained a new, unique eyesight that was never before and was much more incredible and powerful than his enhanced sight.

The time had come, he felt. His ‘that’ something suddenly felt as if it was blooming, opening not to the world but to him, and he was becoming aware of it, but for real this time. His Links were shaking in excitement, as were his hair and body. It suddenly appeared to be floating, not just in the air but as if underwater, and Ciemnosc felt liberated… he… he…

“!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” As he started floating without his cultivation base, Ciemnosc looked up. Not towards anywhere in general but simply looking up, his head raised and his eyes wide open and illuminated by the sunlight. But they then grew darker!

Without utilizing his ‘that’ something, or Claws Out and Vocón Link, Ciemnosc’s body began floating up, and his hands were thrown backwards slightly. And as his eyes began turning dark, his sclera was consumed by darkness, which consumed light, and all that exists and there is.

… …. … …. …. … … …

The whole world started trembling, incredibly slightly, as if it wasn’t even occurring. Ciemnosc’s body halted in midair, his lips opening slowly and his face and throat becoming tense to an impossible degree. As veins bulged and thickened more than naturally possible, his face scrunched up and raged on and on. The more his lips opened, the corners of his mouth traced backwards, the more it looked like Ciemnosc was screaming at the top of his lungs.

His arms bent at their knees, thrown all together to the back as his Claws Out came out. His hands and toes began growing dark claws… unlimitedly.

“!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Ciemnosc continued to ‘scream’ his muffled voice out. As he did, the world seemed to be in the midst of trembling, not only around him, not only in the east of the Region, not only in the Region but the whole world. And even more!!

. . .

North of the Region, Preferential Light Justice Sect.

On a balcony where a lithe damsel supported her body over its railing. At the top of a high building, of many, in the sect’s territory. She wore a plain white dress with little blue stars as she looked at the south, seemingly trying to find the origin of it all.

“... Oh yeah, we will look forward to it, hahaha. “ - “I hope the new mines grant us enough to build more organizations. That will be the next step before figuring out the next realm, ahahaha…” - “Gentlemen, I’m glad to see you at ease. If you’ll excuse me, I need to find my wife.”

A few voices from behind the balcony’s doors were heard, but those voices came from an indoors room dozens of other rooms away from the balcony. Yet, the beautiful woman in white could listen to them. And at the end of those words, the voice of a ‘most’ familiar person was heard before the voices turned down, and the rest of the voices’ owners seemed to relax.

Despite the things that have occurred for the last couple of years, what took the high-end cultivators’ minds and hearts right now was the riches from the west, shared by the Rocaloi Academy, though it collected taxes from them. Yet, it wasn’t half the amount the ‘major’ organizations mined, which was a great business deal for them.

At this moment, however, one of the strongest leaders of the east was but uncaring towards it, leaving it all to that familiar-than-most voice that separated from the rest in a hurry and so suddenly.

Creak, creak.

The balcony’s doors opened to reveal sect master Farno’s figure in a complex and elegant suit. In front of him, the ever more beautiful but tragic sect master Yolin’s back faced him. After pressing his lips together in a heavy, tiny smile, Farno went over to her right side and spoke with his left hand on her left shoulder.

“I got the news. My people are marching to where Ciemnosc was noticed last time in a village. They also saw the headmaster, but we will immediately go there as soon as possible. They will bring news of Ciemnosc if he escaped or try and bring him to us if he is too weak.” Comforting her, Farno got Yolin to relax a little. Her neck was wobbling, and her face softened.

She looked at him, her eyes thankful as she turned her head and leaned it on his right arm. She spoke with a clear, bell-like, and delicate tone, “Thank you, he doesn’t deserve any of this. Any of that. I hope he is safe. Or else, will I have to continue awkwardly meeting you, the mother of your children, and your children at dinner?”

“Hmg,” Farno snorted and grinned, pulling her left arm towards him to comfort her. “She doesn’t think ill of you. My family understands. Protecting someone’s purity doesn’t need to be asked, especially within the family.”

“That doesn’t mean it’s okay-” Yolin spoke again, her lips forming an ever-so-beautiful smile but with pale lips. She looked rather ill. And that was something for a cultivator. But then, she suddenly felt like the world became 1 ‘floor’ lower, making her feel like there was something absolutely different and even terribly wrong with the world. “...?”

“Gasp! … … … …” Suddenly, she gasped as she looked somewhere, her heart emptying out without rhyme or reason. But she looked at the far, extreme, and immediate east from the balcony. Her eyes never grew so big, and her pupils shrank with trembling irises.

Slowly, silence engulfed it all, and with Farno none the wiser, as was anyone else, the sun seemingly turned nonexistent as an opaque layer of shadowy obscurity descended upon the world like the shadows of clouds on a sunny day right before the rain would come. Quickly, she and everything around her was engulfed by that obscurity. And before she could think a mere iota had passed, everything became pure darkness.

. . .

Rocaloi Academy, within the safe section of the academy, which had now become the academy itself as a whole. But where depression was present, barely any joyous sound or noise was heard.

“...!” Tini was far away, playing with mud and making a few figures. She seemed a bit lost since months ago. She had not touched any pill, herb, flora, or plant. The carnivorous plants she was given were barely alive, thanks not to her but to Older Brother, who was picking up another pen as he was drawing something on a book when he couldn’t even grasp it wholly before he was ‘forced’ to drop it.

Looking up towards the eat, he seemed to find peace as he gently let the book in his hands on the ground beside his right thigh as he sat cross-legged. To his front, Tini looked in the same direction, but unlike the surprise in Older Brother’s eyes, she had longing in her own.

“...” And as the book slowly closed itself with a soundless, strong gust of wind to keep the drawing on the left page of a beautiful young woman with short, wavy hair. And the sketch of a young boy, followed by shadowy darkness on the right, its creator closed his eyes.

‘I understand.’ He murmured in his mind as a layer of obscurity descended everywhere. Followed by the engulfing, everpure darkness.
