Chapter 458 — Trash... Wowing As Trash!

Trash... Wowing As Trash!

"Look, it's him!" - "My.... GOD! He handsome! He mighty handsome!" - "Naaahh, he damn handsome, gurl. Look at his arms. They grew muscles! Oh my god, he's training a body tempering Art? Could it be the Academy's new Supreme Art?!" - "Would his dick also grow muscles? I've never been with a body tempering cultivator..." - "... Women." - "You thought about it, too." - "... I'm not gay, but..."

Heian Ciemnosc suddenly made an act of presence in the free zone, between the platform's mini-stadiums and the bleachers. He had appeared from below the bleachers, where some participants were waiting in tranquility. Now that he showed up, with his 80,000 km Spirit Sense range, he would have blushed if he wasn't himself. Heian Ciemnosc ignored it and stood alone at a spot where nobody dared to stand 3 meters around him. He found Elena and the rest of his COs in other places. In fact, those with the same organization's emblem were separated by at least dozens of meters.

Some time passed, minutes went by, and finally, Heian Ciemnosc saw a change in the sky as 4 figures appeared with obscure smoke forming portals out of nowhere. The crowds acclaimed, pointing and staring at the morning sky as the cheers increased. “WOOOOOOOO!” - “WEEEEEEE!” - “KYAAAAAA!” - “HERE WE GOO, THE LAST STEP!” - “BROTHER, I LOVE YOU!!” - “GOOD LUCK EVERYONE, WOOO- AAAH!”

Heian Ciemnosc also ignored those intensely loud, thundering cheers. Having a few tens of millions of spectators scream to their heart’s content, and the stadium didn’t even ripple from it, showed how prepared this expanded stadium became. While the participants were in the free zone, the platform was flooded with hundreds and hundreds of mini-stadiums, each was at least 10 times larger than the Sinvonnia Kingdom’s.

“Yuhoooo!”

“?” Just then, Heian Ciemnosc heard a predominantly loud, clear, girly sound reaching his ears since it was directed towards him. He turned his head to the left, his pale neck twisting as many females and some bad boys were dazedly staring at his top beauty. Heian Ciemnosc saw his little Fera shaking a pair of long maracas as she sat. Her eyes were tightly shut, but her little face, as low as it was, didn’t blush in embarrassment. All she wanted was her Big Bro to notice her cheering on him.

“Big Brooo, beat them all! Win for meeee~!” Fera shouted. Her rigorous Power Energy seemed to uncontrollably shook as she waved her maracas even harder and faster. Just then, a middle-aged man looked at her seat on her right, bending his body and becoming interested. However, Clarke, sitting on Fera’s left, slowly turned his head around as mighty Hana-Saga realm later stages’ hostile fluctuations emanated from his body.

“Ah, ah… so sorry, I- aah…” The middle-aged man left his seat without saying anything proper, unnoticed by the blissful Fera, whose Big Brother had noticed her and waved at her for at least 12 seconds. For others, that was too much. For Fera, this was perfect! Just then, Yon walked from where the middle-aged man left and sat on Fera’s right. The latter opened her eyes to a full again and chatted with one of her Older Sisters. “Sis Yon, where did you go? I think your seat was taken just now.”

“I picked some stuff here and there. Take this lizard bone, and this is its slimy, roasted skin.” - “Yummy! Nom~ nom~ nom~ nom~~~...” Fera started eating as Yon began passing food to their circle’s gem. Yon caressed the back of her head a few times before pressuring her. “Fera, hurry up and cultivate to my level. I will teach you extreme melee measures then. You will impress your Big Bro with them. How about it?”

“MNOM NOM NOM- wha dun we starw nuw?” Fera slowly moved her head away from the food, eating away the lizard’s body as its skin prickled her tongue like the delicacy it was. Yon lightly smiled. Her usual tough, tomboy vibes were still there, but she wasn’t adamant about exposing them. Treating Fera like her daughter, Yon parted some of her hair strands and revealed Fera’s cinnamon face. “You have to focus on what you’re best at. Aleksander is already helping you understand the Sect’s methods better, no? Don’t underestimate anything and do as your Big Bro says, okay?”

“Mn!” Fera nodded, looking at Yon with bright eyes… before immediately wolfing her food down. Yon smiled gently before looking at Clarke, “Thanks for keeping my seat, honey.”

Clarke looked at her for 2 seconds, lowered his head to the left, and blushed. Meanwhile, Yon’s eyes showed possessiveness and desire. She couldn’t help rubbing her flat belly before sitting to face the barely starting announcement with the 4 hosting organizations’ representatives in the air. Bai Yue’er took the front this time as Jolden was behind her right, Diego behind her left, and Bajo in between.

“Welcome, participants of the Change Merit Trials. Although most of the previous participants have left, those who remained are the braves and most courageous among you. I congratulate you for arriving here… but now, you will be met with a cruel reality. This is your last chance. Leave the free zone now, and you will be teleported to the bleachers, where your path, or life, won’t be endangered.” Bai Yue’er’s gentle tone sounded magical even as she spoke those heavy words. Yet, the crowd and 4,000,000 participants all remained quiet.

“Good. With this, I will get ahead of myself to erect a new rule.” Bai Yue’er’s eyes narrowed 5%, smirking before continuing as she announced. “From now on, whoever dares to show cowardice or asks their opponent to be changed will be disqualified from the 3rd phase!”

“We abide by your orders, Grand Elder!!!” - “We won’t be cowardly, even if we feel like that!” - “We won’t disappoint you, Goddess!!”

The participants responded. It wasn’t everyone, but it was the majority. Heian Ciemnosc even saw Victor do the same, thinking that this fellow was becoming quite the honorable one. On the other hand, Violet looked up at the black Grand Elder with her sapphire eyes shining like there was no tomorrow. Heian Ciemnosc took note of that and looked up. Grand Elder Bai Yue’er nodded, causing everyone to fall silent, including some ordinary dogs and cats outside the stadium.

“None of you chose to leave. We’ll see if your heart is as solid as you demonstrate it now.” She looked behind, and the other 3 representatives nodded at her simultaneously without expression. Bai Yue’er returned to face the crowds, and her loud voice spread. “First, the Champion of this 3rd phase will be granted 3 top-notch Earth grade weapons or a full Earth set armor. And can choose from 2 representatives to receive guidance from our Supreme Arts. Whatever you can comprehend will depend entirely on you, not on our teachings, in which we will give it our all.”

“To the best team among you, each of you will be granted guidance from 1 representative of your choosing. Whoever can have a private session of our Supreme Arts will be well-welcomed anywhere in the world. And lastly, the Honorable Gladiator of this 3rd phase will be granted 2 choices. To either absorb the knowledge of one of our organizations or marry up to 100 top-notch highest low-status members of your choosing.”

“We would like to start a new horizon with our thoughts clear, not clouded by the past traditions and customs. The Wrath Nihility Academy has shown us how valuable connections can be. This will be all for the rewards. Anyone else who participates can be considered a Genius within our Existence if they haven’t already gained this honorable title. Fame, recognition, reputation, and strength will follow you as long as you can participate after the battle royale.”

“With fame comes pressure. Recognition requires proving oneself in the future. Reputation not only has to be maintained but increased as well! And strength is tested through one’s path!” Bai Yue’er’s words had everyone hanging from a thread, looking at this Goddess imparting her lessons. Bai Yue’er continued, “An event like this isn’t for fun. It is the setting point for this Existence’s future. Any blemish to it will not be tolerated. May the 3rd phase begin.”

Bai Yue’er spoke without emotion towards the end, so much so that the crowd took a couple of seconds to realize she had started the 3rd phase, the tournament! Immediately, the participants felt restless, wanting to rush into a mini-stadium they wanted and get to fighting, killing, and more! Of course, even if one desired to sexually assault or rape someone, with the Grand Elder’s words, they dared not. Or at least for the moment.

“My gosh! What?! How- wh- what do we do?! Do we fly there?” - “They haven’t said anything!” - “Let’s fiiiiiiiight!” - “Woohooo!”

If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

Jolden’s voice clamored at this moment, calming everything down. “Each mini-stadium will have enough participants to completely fill each of them. Once there, nobody is allowed to leave from there. Now, prepare!!”

PSHIIIFT! RUUUMMBLEEEE!

Jolden spoke when, suddenly, as he lifted his right arm in front of his collarbone. When he lowered it and finished speaking, black smoke suddenly surged below the platform. Endless seas engulfed the skies before heading towards the participants in the free zone around the platform’s perimeter. Heian Ciemnosc watched as black smoke belonged to the teleporting category. But to others, despite knowing this too, felt pressured and somewhat scared to see so much darkness come towards them.

When it arrived before them, it crashed against the ground, rumbling and shaking. This time, it alarmed the spectators, causing them to fall silent and make funny, scared faces with their jaws as if dislocated. Only some, like Yon, Clarke, and Fera, were alright, as they were pretty cool with darkness and were already used to some, too.

Heian Ciemnosc’s body was engulfed by the black smoke. It came like a tide, surging through the ground and sweeping the free zone entirely. His darkest eyes had looked at the smoke without tilting his head or rotating his eyeballs. As he was engulfed, he felt his forearms and shins softly touched like a hot breeze of air passing through his feet in a dream, but he also felt the ground beneath his feet harmlessly quaking as his body was seemingly slid forwards.

It felt like zooming into the distance, immediately moving from one place to another with a thought, just not his.

“...!” Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes narrowed as the sensation stopped. He looked for 3 seconds without moving as the black smoke started revealing the place around him. It was notoriously different, and despite these walls being as tall as 300 meters, he felt like these walls had eyes, and anyone from within was seen as if no walls existed at all. The black smoke continued dissipating, allowing long, ragged trails to show the world outside.

“Hyaaaaagh!” - “...” Just then, Heian Ciemnosc heard a battle cry approaching him from the front, hiding underground. A cultivator with short black hair, reverse-holding a dagger, charged towards him. His facial expression was determined… to kill. Heian Ciemnosc looked at this by darting his eyes towards the cultivator, instinctively going Claws Out with his right hand. The dark claws stunned the cultivator for a second before resuming his rapid charge. He was a Broken Crystallization realm 4th stage cultivator. What could this 1st stage make him feel afraid of?

—CKRSHEERR- sweesh- pah! Splooooshhhh…

Heian Ciemnosc’s right claw clawed down. The cultivator’s face slowly disintegrated. His flesh was parted like bubbles, popping with the passing of his dark claws. His neck followed a seamless cutting through, arriving at the vertebral column. Without any hindrance, cutting through the vivid amount of rigorous Power Energy, Heian Ciemnosc’s dark claws passed through the cultivator’s torso, and his hand extended.

Heian Ciemnosc’s right forearm was bloody and entangled by leftover flesh while the cultivator’s body, from the waist up, had fallen to the sides. He no longer had any life left, with several thin torso slices falling beside Heian Ciemnosc’s feet. Heian Ciemnosc momentarily frowned as he looked down at his dark claws and kept them before grabbing the cultivator’s pelvic bone, throwing them to his right, and landing on someone’s collarbone.

The other cultivator, hiding behind the remaining black smoke, had his whole body explode from Heian Ciemnosc’s bodily strength, 80,000 kg! The other cultivator’s body burst into bloody bubbles that rapidly dissipated within the black smoke, rapidly disappearing and starting to shower Heian Ciemnosc with sunlight, the worse. However, from the first cultivator’s body, some remaining flesh and skin fell, sounding a few crisp ‘bugsh’ and attracting the attention of tens of thousands of eyes.

Heian Ciemnosc immediately felt their Spirit Sense scan everywhere around him and the place where the flesh and skin fell. It wasn’t even 50 meters away, and as they followed the trail the first cultivator’s corpse flew from, their Spirit Sense bombarded Heian Ciemnosc’s body and his immediate surroundings.

“Haha, look. Everyone’s Spirit Sense is on the little black monster!” - “Wha- whaat? What’s going on there?” - “Hahaha!” - “He is only at the Broken Crystallization realm 1st stage? What the…” - “SO LOW?!” - “Bwahahahaha! Why-just why do so many people claim him to be the strongest? What the hell?!” - “Oooh… my… gods…” - “That’s… so embarrassing.” - “Look! He’s scared! He doesn’t even dare to move. What a coward! Hey, he’s breaking the rules, haha!”

Heian Ciemnosc could, strangely, hear their words without his Spirit Sense despite the horrifying distance between his mini-stadium and most people paying him attention. He wasn’t one to criticize them for looking at him right now, but he was equally uncaring of what they had to say. Looking at his surroundings, Heian Ciemnosc narrowed his eyes. Everyone was looking at him like a piece of meat… he started feeling really threatened now.

“Hey, Heian Ciemnosc!” Just as his eyes narrowed, covering most of his eyes, he heard Teno call out to him. Heian Ciemnosc turned his head around, his neck twisting. He looked at Teno, Tene, Yun Tang, Yun Nitu, and a bunch of other members from their allied groups. It looked like there were quite a few teams from them, but still too few compared to the tens of thousands around them. Heian Ciemnosc turned again and looked at the other cultivators, who had now surrounded him and his allies.

“It looks like you don’t have enough people,” Heian Ciemnosc commented, slowly backing towards Teno. The latter looked alarmed already, and after hearing Heian Ciemnosc, knowing he couldn’t just sniff and get rid of the current threat, he nodded backwards to the rest, and they started forming a circle.

“Wooooh…” - “No, you’re shitting me.” - “NO! They’re gonna lose! The handsome and beautiful team will fall this fast? Noooo!” - “My god, it’s them against the world! Literally!”

Heian Ciemnosc’s mini-stadium was already trending. Many opened an additional window to look at it while browsing the other mini-stadiums, looking for something more interesting. But when they saw nearly 95% of an entire stadium start surrounding the rest, and then knowing which were those being surrounded, they became hooked!

“Eh? Isn’t this supposed to be Heian Ciemnosc? That little black monster??” - “He’s so afraid, is he even capable? I think I can fight him for 7 blows before accidentally killing him.” - “You’re underestimating yourself too much, pal.” - “Haha, look, he’s asking for help. Imagine… if he was betrayed now and killed. Wouldn’t that be sweet?”

As the voices continued to ring, Teno looked slightly alarmed. Still, he didn’t bother trying to explain himself to Heian Ciemnosc, nor did Heian Ciemnosc need it. As they backed toward the allies’ little group, Heian Ciemnosc stopped retreating at the circle’s perimeter with Teno, Tene, Yun Tang, and Yun Nitu behind him. Right now, their circle had 2 extreme opposites standing out, like an eye’s corners forming.

Heian Ciemnosc looked at the enemy cultivators a little more as a cultivator, wielding a long, thick spear, suddenly rushed from the crowd towards him. His face was euphoric, and he had the scene of killing Heian Ciemnosc in his eyes. He wore a Second Step organization’s emblem and moved fast, his cultivation base in the Broken Crystallization realm 6th stage, full of confidence. Heian Ciemnosc was about to say something when this random appeared. He returned to face the enemy and smoothly lifted and thrust his right arm in the cultivator’s general direction.

The 2 groups’ 4 leaders watched with interest, wanting to know Heian Ciemnosc’s capabilities. Would his battle prowess have increased? He must be able to fight 6th stage cultivators, at least to a standstill. It is impossible for it to have decreased. That wouldn’t be Heian Ciemnosc if it was the case. They saw as Heian Ciemnosc’s pale hand kept a cupping-like shape with all his fingers together, and his movement seemed slow but was elegantly rapid.

Pshiiiiiift~~... … … … creeeeeeeee- ks- sk- shk- shshkshshkshshk.

Dark Power Energy flew forward, gliding through the air, curving a little in midair like a gliding dark light beam. It was as if a disc was coloring the world, leaving a shadow energy behind that didn’t dissipate. It was also similarly slow but was elegant and full of marvels. It even gave enough time for the crowd to start at it again. And this time, they even went all out.

“WOAH! His energy isn’t even rigorous? Oh my god! So thin! So little! So tiny!! BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!” - “Look at this, look at this!!” - “Can he still call himself a cultivator?! My god, not even when I was his age was I this small, ahahahaaaaa~!” - “Did he cheat his way on cultivation or what? Haha! Why is he incapable of forming a rigorous Power Energy? Is he just dumb?!” - “Careful, his master is-” - “Look at what he’s trying to do, just appear flashy! That’s too low and taboo for the world, let alone doing this at an event this meaningful! It's disrespectful!” - “Heng! He wins some small victories, and now he thinks he’s just invincible, reaaaally. Someone should teach him his place on- wh- whawa- what the fuck?!!” - “!?!?!?”

Heian Ciemnosc’s dark Power Energy was not only not rigorous but even thinner than before, appearing more sublime and undetectable. As it went through the air, it finally reached the cultivator. With a smug grin and expression, the cultivator brought his spear’s shaft to the left side of his face, planning to deflect it fashionably. However, when it ‘clicked’ on its shaft, it didn’t even make a sound, and the cultivator’s eyes widely opened as his face stiffened.

The next second, his Mortal spear was soundlessly penetrated, like a smooth flight through cotton and sand. It stabbed through the cultivator’s head’s left side and seamlessly crossed through the other. But that wasn’t it. As soon as the dark Power Energy instantly killed the thick spear-wielding cultivator, it continued to streak for another 3 meters before stagnating in midair as the contrail from behind immediately shrunk to leave another 5 meters on the other side before murdering Heian Ciemnosc’s target.

They formed a pair of hills in the air, appearing surreal but clearly in the enemy cultivators’ heads. And just as they were reacting to Heian Ciemnosc’s demonstration, he rushed forward!

Dash! Step, step, step, step, step, step, step, step!
