First Existences' War, The Frontline Battle (4)
Futomp! Futomp! Futomp! Futomp! Futomp! Futomp! Futomp! Futomp! Futomp! Futomp!... pfiuh, ta-rara, puh, pom-pam, veem...
Heian Ciemnosc calmly watched as dozens of spaceships suddenly stopped, exiting their enhanced speed, immediately sending missiles, bullets, rockets, shells, and flying over with thousands of Fighters forming groups. Each second carried a couple sounds, which were too mighty and loud for space to muffle them, hauled onto Heian Ciemnosc's military force and striking at their structure. Although it was meaningless and harmless, even if it was one's body instead, it signified how severe the enemy acted just to start dealing with them.
Heian Ciemnosc stepped forward a couple times before delegating his people’s movement, but the rocket groups were already on the move and had started to decimate a good patch of enemy spaceships right ahead of the sphere formation!
Kakakakaka- booooooooOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM~~!!
“Advance!” Heian Ciemnosc barked his command. His Spirit Sense rapidly marked the maps in his personnel’s minds and emblems, letting them know his orders. Doing so individually via oratory dialect instead of Spirit Sense, which any commander could divide into dozens of messages, was entirely and unnecessarily tardy.
Veeem, veeeem, veeeeeeeeem…
At Heian Ciemnosc’s command, the Cruisers moved to hold the sphere formation’s perimeter. Destroyers remained behind them, and Frigates flew in the middle around the Low Battleships. As the enemy’s firepower closed towards them, the Cruisers immediately opened fire with all their weaponry except missiles and didn’t use torpedoes to try and form a barrier at their front.
The enemy wasn’t dumb and then arched their missiles and torpedoes, distorting their angle until they were tens of kilometers away from the sphere formation before rushing back into battle. Meanwhile, although their bullets were drowned in the Cruisers’ heavy firepower, not allowing their machine guns to reach the extended Elemental Water eye array formation, their shells did travel close enough to damage them.
The situation with the enemy missiles and torpedoes stacked. Their expansive arch made it easier to group them and form a strong missile line that would bombard the sphere formation without rest. Additionally, the enemy started sending direct missiles towards the sphere formation, getting their attention away from those missiles they had sent before and continued to send far from the battlefield in a couple of arches.
Yet, the Low Battleships wouldn’t be idle for no reason. According to their universal focus, the enemy had created 2 lines of missiles to their left and right. Just as those lines were less than a few kilometers from reaching the watery barrier, the Low Battleships fired away at those missiles, sending bullets from the sharpest and fastest machine guns and their anti-missile turrets.
Immediately, the enemy missiles were forced to detonate one after another, creating a limbo where explosions wouldn’t stop adding up, and the enemy missile lines were halted against the Low Battleships’ immense firepower. Although they didn’t have enough defensive turrets and missiles to deter those of others like Cruisers, their arsenal and ammunition were untouchable, second only to their Supreme class version.
Bang, bang, bang… PSHHHIUU- PSSHH- PSSSHHKK-~...1
Nonetheless, the enemy torpedoes were as if ignored, and they rapidly crashed against the sphere formation’s Elemental barrier as they’d been left alone for too long. Despite their slower speed, they were forgotten by the Low Battleships!
However, to the thousands of enemy spaceships —and as many more thousands arrived— the barrier wasn’t affected by those torpedoes. Instead, it seemed to gain color, and its energy sheen became more glamorous! The enemy was silly-shocked, but the sphere formation repaired all the damage some missiles, a few raining bullets, and shelling had caused it while also becoming thicker than even when it was first formed.
Now, the Elemental Water Eye barriers seemed to reach their limit, and all over the sphere formation, they had the same previous condition where the Low Battleships were forced to charge forward and bash the enemy spaceships to little pieces. Having already been informed of the young black monster’s appearance and tactics, the enemy thought they were prepared, however…
“Dammit! Respond already! Rocket launchers!” - “We already are! Look better, you prick! Don’t you see their rockets are fucking up ours?!” - “Dammit!” - “More of us are coming. Nobody is retreating! Stop being so impatient! A few minutes more and their accumulated rockets won’t be worth shit!” - “Raaaaaaaaghghh!”
Heian Ciemnosc welcomed the first few thousand enemy spaceships with rockets crashing against them and creating a gap nobody dared to fill up for fear of the rockets’ prowess, and they were on the right mind to think so. However, as they realized they couldn’t just bombard and smack the fuck down the military unit that stole the first victory from their hands, swift and accurate artillery shells accompanied by missiles and torpedoes flying along bullets flew from the sphere formation to the sides!
“!!!!” The enemy had already started using their battle array formations, at least for those who could use one, which was 70% of those at the vanguard, of which Heian Ciemnosc’s military force decimated at the middle, bringing a couple hundred non-Low Battleship spaceships down in the process.
Just as they noticed the sphere formation’s ‘retaliation’ and sudden movement as they practically charged into their gaped center, they were baffled when bullets arched and changed direction as if they were missiles instead. Artillery shells flew and arced, too, but they focused on enemy spaceships while the torpedoes self-exploded at the sides where the center had left a gap, their front, and their outer perimeter. They were virtually trapped in their own moving line!
Pshushhh! Pshuuuuushhhhh~~!!! Ta- rararararararara~~~... pam, pam, pam, pom, pom, pom- BANG!!! Puh, puh, puh, puh…
As everything happened in under 3 seconds, they didn’t have a chance to get it together fast enough. Bullets and shells drained their initial shields’ protection, followed by the explosions of missiles midway through their commitment, but some reached a few enemy spaceships, followed by an influx of bullets raining and shelling, causing a few loudest explosions to echo. Some enemy spaceships fell just from being close to one of their Cruisers, creating a short chain reaction before they could re-arrange their formation and smash Heian Ciemnosc’s military force.
What’s more, just as they were taking countermeasures, and the enemy groups farther at the back moved out of their position upwards to bombard the young black monster’s group, the latter rushed into their lines! Bashing dozens of enemy Cruisers who purposely moved there to avoid any aperture like this. They just weren’t ready enough not to deal with the young black monster!
However, what were once thousands of enemy spaceships became tens of thousands in under a minute, and the pressure falling on Heian Ciemnosc’s military force could only be considered like an ant trying to stop a chariot moving at full speed with the intention to exterminate his group by accident.
“Careful!!” - “No, it’s actually great! Fire! They’ve opened it! Fir-” - “WAAAAAAH!!!”
Ta- rararararararararararararararararararararararararararara- pum, pum, pum, pum… puh, puh, puh, puh… pfiuh, pfiuh, pfiuh…~~!! The enemy’s communication channels were once again filled with hectic activity as the sphere formation suddenly opened from the front!
The enemy could see within Heian Ciemnosc’s sphere formation slightly, but they didn’t know that this defensive, Elemental barrier wasn’t just for defending and slightly boosting their projectiles. Just as the enemy spaceships, and especially Cruisers, were incredibly damaged or directly destroyed by Heian Ciemnosc’s military force second bash into enemy lines, their sphere formation opened a wide gap, revealing 7 Low Battleships forming an oval mini-formation at the very front.
Cruisers and Destroyers exited from the center of the oval mini-formation, surprising the enemy after already stunning them with 7 Low Battleships forming a grotesquely smallish formation, but they had no time to respond as hundreds of rockets flew from the Low Battleships to all 4 sides.
There were no enemies at the top and bottom, but before those who saw a long line of several hundred meters cleaned of their comrades’ spaceships could feel glad of their position, the rockets sent to the top and bottom arched backwards and annihilated as many as they could before the enemy Low Battleships responded and adopted their tactic to avoid casualties.
But it was too late!
Hundreds of enemy spaceships would fall under every minute like this, and this was rapidly understood by the enemy. But before they could focus their forces to annihilate this pesky fly contaminating their line armada, the rear of the sphere formation also opened, revealing… a single Low Battleship spinning on the spot as hundreds of Fighters and spun with it, and they were also wrapped by thousands of rockets!
“Decimate,” Heian Ciemnosc coldly ordered. His Low Battleship gradually slowed down, but the rockets coiling around him and the spaceship’s Fighters blasted into the enemy lines, extremely arching to crash on the 2-way opened sphere formation’s sides, immediately surprising the enemy to death and destruction!

Bang… bang… bang… bang… bang… bang… bang… bang… bang…!
Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes were crystal clear as he rubbed his right-handed fingertips in the still rapidly spinning Low Battleship, and the Fighters spinning with it moved sideways and sent missiles everywhere, deterring any enemy Destroyer or Cruiser from moving too swiftly.
“...!” The female reporter looked at Heian Ciemnosc, and her professional expression turned terrified, shocked, and wholeheartedly worshipful! Not only was she feeling like this, the piloting experts moving a few hundred spaceships at Heian Ciemnosc’s command and eccentric decisions caused little to no casualties or failed tactics so far… They were following a war leader! Their vocation couldn’t have been called better than this! The thrill!
“Prepare to come out,” Heian Ciemnosc’s voice reached everyone in his sphere formation. All spaceships no longer remained within their spaceships but on their spaceships’ structures, waiting like beehives full of angry and bloodthirsty bees.
However, it would be hella stupid if it was said that none of them were nervous. Of course, they were, but the boiling of their blood in their veins and the excited thumps of their hearts that made them feel they’d die… was too much to fall short now that they’d come to this!
“15 seconds until approach,” after Heian Ciemnosc’s Low Battleship sent a dozen rockets every second, targeting any enemy spaceship his personnel locked onto, and the occasional enemy spaceship was destroyed either from his side or the other, the rear or the front. A piloting expert announced, and suddenly, everyone in Heian Ciemnosc’s military force became tensed in expectation.
…Pew… pew… pew… From afar, so far away. A long line of lights, spreading farther to the right and left according to the general universal focus, appeared under the enemy’s squinted, hateful, focused eyes. It did the same to Heian Ciemnosc’s soldier units and officials, but they didn’t glow the same. Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes calmly looked at where his group came from, calm and serene like still, cold dead water, and lifeless as if its meaning didn’t exist within his body.
While the enemy’s eyes turned precarious, hostile ever-more, and wary. The Quiongu Fanhui Existence’s big-balled force to start the first battle on this Change’s first Existence-scale war was filled with boundless… warmongering glint.
“It’s time. Set out!” As Heian Ciemnosc spoke, under the enemy’s astonished glares, the sphere formation opened from every possible angle, slowly dismantling. The enemy firepower was focused on destroying the spaceships at either extreme, taking advantage of the vulnerability. Thus, only a few missiles overflew or under-flew the sphere formation.
When it opened abruptly, they were baffled, but they were even more shocked silly as a few hundred spaceships from Frigates to Cruisers with Fighters stuck to them like a plague were already dashing towards them and firing everything they had at them, the enemy.
The enemy surrounding the young black monster’s group sides could see the bellies of all these spaceships, and as they flew further deep into the enemy lines, it was as if they were making a passing on them to bombard, but they were using all their arsenal, and not just missiles. Then, when they were about to respond, they became confused and startled as various commands surged from their minds. One was their instinct, and another their superiors.
FUTO- TO- TO- TO- TOMP~!!!!!
“Fire ahead! Send everything you got!” - “Ignore them! They’re the distraction! Fire!!” - “But, sir! They’re too vulnerable now!” - “Move away!! The enemy is ahead of us!! Stop speaking up and obey!” - “Why the fuck are individual spaceships ignored? Shoot them down! Rockets, torpedoes! Something! They have Cruisers, goddammit! Have you never battled in space?! Dammit!! Kuwaaaaagh” - “NOOO-” - “I requ- AWAAAH-” - “...!!~!”
Thousands of the Existence’s spaceships appeared several tens of kilometers from where Heian Ciemnosc’s military force forcefully halted the enemy’s advancement. More enemy spaceships were still coming, but now, he and his group counted on the backing of their main force, too! The younger generation’s 4th ring force had arrived on time!!
Bang! Baaaang! Bang! BANG!! Puuuuuum- ka- boooom~~!!!...
Heian Ciemnosc’s group’s spaceships flew vertically where the enemy’s line center, opening up more space as hundreds of ally spaceships rushed where the torpedoes had left solid clouds blocking the enemy’s way to advance or rapidly retreat. There was a slight disorder at the vanguard’s wings as some tried to retreat to their heart’s content and others to stay, fight, die, and make a strong foothold for the rest of their armada.
However, with the seemingly small yet efficient and timely extra support that Heian Ciemnosc’s group’s spaceships gave the main force by just flying sideways at the center as the Low Battleships opened the gap and traveled further into the enemy’s armada, the Existence’s 4th ring armada had a more uncomplicated accommodation to join the battle and start pressing into the enemy lines…
The first battle was over, and that was that. Now, now it was total war!!!
“Excellent job, young black monster. Count on us. We’ll care of your rear!” - “Here we are! Are we advancing, or are we advancing?! HUA!!” - “HUAA!!!” - “HUAAAAA!!!”
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
“Hmph…” Heian Ciemnosc grinned from the left corner of his mouth with crossed arms as he received commander-to-commander voice messages. Heian Ciemnosc felt he was back when he led for the first time. Back when he enjoyed the fruits of pure conflict and violent debates for resource and strategic points… Where he had felt alive for one of the first times in his life!…
“Regroup and get going! We have an objective to complete… And a bunch of eyes to shine upon,” Heian Ciemnosc said, commanding the order everyone in his military force awaited. The few hundred spaceships under his command were like puzzle pieces getting to their fitting spots on their own. They flew and positioned as the Low Battleships took the center again, but this time in a cross inner formation.
Heian Ciemnosc was at the top, and the Cruisers formed a triangle formation without corners surrounding everyone else as Heian Ciemnosc’s military force became a gigantic rectangle formation as they moved within the enemy’s center. Frigates and Destroyers were spread within the triangle formation made by Cruisers. The corners or empty spots were covered by the already built and new Elemental Water Eye array formations.
Ta- rararara rarararararara rarararararararar~~... pfiuh, pfiuh, pfiuh… pum, pum, pum, pum, pum… puh, puh, puh, puh, puh, puh… WYYUUUMP!! WYYUUUMP!!...
Heian Ciemnosc’s military force advanced forth, with the Existence's main force following behind, keeping the Evergazing Existence’s wings busy and rapidly annihilating them. Heian Ciemnosc had left them a job half-done. They just had to show up and claim the reward. However, while the allies at the back hurried to gain the contribution and zeal they longed for, Heian Ciemnosc and his group rushed farther and farther into the enemy lines!!
Just as the Incinerating Bolt battle array formation was dwindling, Heian Ciemnosc spared no effort to use another Sunflour, sacrifice it, and rekindle the links between each of his spaceships. His Spirit Sense and dark Soul were strained for sure, but it wasn’t to the point where it would affect him. Heian Ciemnosc was tremendously more capable than that.
With the rectangle formation taking shape and having a thin layer of protection at their sides, while their corners were virtually untouchable, the young black monster led his military force forth to search for their target!
It was as if they were instructing an orchestra and dancing a mind-blowing piece altogether. They fired bullets nonstop but focused all their firepower in a particular direction every minute and a few seconds, followed by the rocket launchers every Cruiser and Low Battleship had, clearing up that arsenal like there was no tomorrow.
Missiles and artillery guns would follow, and anything in their way, be it the middle or any other angle they targeted, found the dismay of destruction hugging them until they turned to scrap and food for Elemental Poisoning.
The young black monster’s unit advanced. Even from afar, by the sights that only the armadas placed at the extreme of both sides on another battlefield, where all the main plates were ready to be served and observed the 3-lines battlefield, Heian Ciemnosc’s group was the eye-catching apple of the Quiongu Fanhui Existence.
However, it wasn’t the only section of the 3-lines battlefield that was active, although it was at least the most active. The Central Formation realm-focused line battlefield was already glowing with the intensity of the exchanges between both sides. Missiles and rockets were the principal players, and their exploding spaceships were just second.
In the middle, where two sides distanced themselves and launched death-attracting projectiles without ceasing, a beautiful yet terror-striking line of pure destruction, flames, energy, light, Element, and even unique matter stood out as the painted a thin line that was slowly growing fatter and longer as hundreds of spaceships continued to appear and form up on both sides.
In the Life-Long realm-focused line battlefield, both sides were barely starting to spread, firing everything they had while taking longer, more expansive positions, forming several arches and trident-like formations en masse. Dozens of such space-battling formations took place on both sides, and no real action had started, but it was different from the rest.
While the 3rd and 4th lines seemed to engage in total war, and the 2nd line was an armed, long-distance face-off, the first line was about testing first and then rearing the other into a useless bunch of scrap floating in space until Elemental Poisoning no longer cared about the leftovers.
Each of those formations, facing the other side, consisted of thousands of spaceships, and they would only increase as the winner of each exchange could only advance after preparing and moving their defensive formations up before deciding to strike or wait for the other side to attack.
One could easily tell how serious and non-biased the battles at the 1st and 2nd line battlefields were, while the 3rd and 4th lines were just a brutal exchange of life and structures. Weaponry flew away as ammunition blasted away and sometimes created chain explosions that devastated their comrades, and this was for both sides.
While the 3rd line was only a few tens of thousands of kilometers from the 4th line, the former started their battle only when the 4th line’s main force reunited with the young black monster’s already growing famous military force. Everybody knew his unit wasn’t just his Crimsonbreaking Faction but that of the other top Overlords and some more organizations’ forces.
However, the other lines also had their own ‘celebrities’ to cheer on, yet only the 4th line became such a blatant eye-catcher as the Evergazing Existence’s 4th line main force’s vanguard was absolutely wasted under the young black monster’s rapid, eccentric moves.
And now that Heian Ciemnosc had given such a free, advantageous start to his line’s main force, if there was something that could stop his rectangle formation with that extended, unique, new, and strange watery barrier, it was only themselves.
Because as they advanced through their line battlefield, their every bullet, artillery shell, and anti-missile projectile never missed, except for the latter, which was unavoidable. But the former 2 were simply always hitting anywhere an enemy was. Missiles and torpedoes were used, but while the former was used to open up shields to barrage enemy spaceships to beehive metal blocks, the latter was constantly used to deny the enemy from closing the gap they’ve made, even using as many torpedoes as they could to increase the solid clouds’ resistance and time staying strong.
This had just started.
