Talking And Hearing
"I will sh-" Greg spoke viciously, but Heian Ciemnosc didn't let the young man have another breath. He rolled his eyes, crossed his arms, and said with a light tone, "Senior Brother, someone wants to hurt me."
Whooosh! Immediately, Heian Ciemnosc felt a strong and sudden whoosh from behind. Meanwhile, Greg and those around him looked at his back with stunningly wide eyes. Behind Heian Ciemnosc was a towering guy, not that tall, but with a severely high cultivation base already worthy of training to become an Assistant Teacher. Clarke, one of the Saberbone Diabolical Club, stood behind Heian Ciemnosc, giving Greg a glare. He simply couldn't look away from Clarke’s eyes for whatever reason.
‘This can’t be… a Soul Art?!’ Greg quickly realized, looking at Clarke dumbfoundedly as Heian Ciemnosc looked as Greg became paralyzed but trembled. Some bloody scent was caught by his nostrils as he saw Greg suddenly wake up and rub his nose, stopping Heian Ciemnosc from smelling that scent any further. Greg spoke as he fearfully glanced at Clarke, “I was just- it’s… a-... my mistake, it’s my mistake…”
“Mistake?” Clarke asked as he looked at Greg without an expression in his eyes and with crossed arms, like Heian Ciemnosc. Greg silently cursed in his head. How could he have known that Clarke would still be around?! The Power Energy he had prepared to teach Heian Ciemnosc was gone before he knew it. Clarke’s arrival dissipated the accumulation as if his body belonged to this most influential Second Step cultivator from the Academy’s group.
“Y- ye- yes, cough… I shouldn’t have thought of something like that! As a senior, I should’ve just kept quiet and let the juniors experience the world, please… forgive me…” Greg said, already unable to hold the pain, bending his back and clutching his stomach midair. The others looked at Greg with alarm before looking up at Clarke… this was a mighty Leading Student who could take the test to become an Assistant Teacher at any moment!
“Then bow and piss off to the underground. You’ll be confined there until the start of the auction. Next time I see you disrespecting your Commander, I will put you down myself,” Clarke said. Greg nodded and said nothing, the strenuous sensations in his head still taking all of his attention. Heian Ciemnosc was not only amazed by this seemingly Soul-move. He was also intrigued as his darkest eyes flushed with intrigue.
Fwvum, fwvum, fwvum~… The students entered their Fighters and left, taking the same road as the others from before to park their babies down there. Heian Ciemnosc looked at them before slowly returning to his Ornament. Clarke looked at him and shook his head before calling out loudly. “Ey, where are you going?”
“To park it,” Heian Ciemnosc responded as he twisted his neck. Just when he wanted to hop into his Fighter, Clarke spoke again. “You’re the Commander. You can spend as much time as you want with the others and let them know your looks and ways of ruling better, but you are still the Commander. Keep it in your pockets. You have permission. The Sanz Kingdom is many times above the Blackotia Kingdom. Especially in the ‘overlord’ regard.”
“Really? Then, thank you, Senior Apprentice Brother, I’ll just keep it.” Heian Ciemnosc stored his Ornament and began floating down with Clarke. He descended with Heian Ciemnosc and brushed his right arm on his left shoulder. “Don’t think I didn’t see it. Greg is at the Broken Crystallization realm 5th stage. It’s curious to see him trying to cover his cultivation base before you, a First Step Spirit Formation realm cultivator. But those attempts are nothing to my senses.”
“Mn,” Heian Ciemnosc nodded, “Thank you for the heads up, I’ll have it considered.”
“Good, because he’ll find a way to meet you without me able to help you or Arla,” Clarke said, nodding and tussling Heian Ciemnosc’s hair as if the latter was a child. Heian Ciemnosc’s expression was helpless as he narrowed his eyes, but Clarke added. “Even though Arla is at the 4th stage, compared to her, Greg is a little child, even if he’s close to the 6th stage. Don’t think of the Second Step as another realm. I assure you won’t be able to deal with a Broken Crystallization realm 1st stage at the beginning of the Spirit Rebirth realm.”
“Although it is still the Power Energy you use, it’s like being a Spiritual Ligament realm cultivator against a Spirit Birth realm. If you ever find one trying to capture or seize something from you… just run. You can’t fly, even if your floating speed is incredible, even for a Spirit Rebirth realm cultivator. But with your strange abilities, nobody can catch you without trying to hurt you. If they are too obvious, they’ll be dismantled by the world directly without anyone needing to come save you.”
“Mn, I got it,” Heian Ciemnosc slightly nodded. He then looked at Clarke and asked, curiosity written on his face. “Is it that different… and extensive? I’m talking between the Spirit Rebirth realm and Broken Crystallization realm.”
“Of course. Everyone wants to try out the latter when having half a step into the Second Step. However, everyone, including me, was accidentally killed by the partner we sparred with. It’s already impossible to challenge someone a stage higher than you when at the 10th stage of any realm. Let alone jumping 2 realms like you do, Heian Ciemnosc.” Clarke nodded and confidently said.
“If everyone could fight others with cultivation base realms above one’s own, the world wouldn’t have been stunned silly when you appeared,” Clarke said, looking upwards to reminisce and shaking his head as he thought of it. To think that he, one of the club leaders, almost lost the chance to recruit such an influential character in the world’s future because of the club’s strict regulations. Seriously…
“Thank you. Still, I want to know why Senior Apprentice Brother is so good to me?” Heian Ciemnosc said, thanking him as they neared the ground, where every student from the 10,000 group waited for them except for Greg and his entourage. Clarke looked at Heian Ciemnosc and said, after slapping the latter’s upper back. Feeling somewhat sore. “Hahaha! It’s because I want many favors returning in the future. The Academy might miss such a scary little black monster like you. Nobody has ever forgotten the Supreme Art you used back then. You know?”
“Ah… I see,” Heian Ciemnosc responded, his eyebrows raising slightly before returning to his usual casual and indifferent expression. Clarke nodded and proceeded to ‘hide’ into the ground so as to not take away the limelight from Heian Ciemnosc. The latter looked at the students before gazing at his team, Elena’s Crystal Fist Team, and Cari’s team. Then, he spoke with an unquestionable attitude.
“Today, tomorrow, and in 2 days, take a breather. Roam the City and have some rest. We’ll go to the auction in 3 days. You were all given your allowance depending on the size and merit your team has gained and has. There won’t be loans from the budget the Academy gave me to secure some items. If you cause trouble, you’re on your own. Do not think you can do as you please. Do so, and I myself will see how to deal with you even if the other parties want to give the Wrath Nihility Academy face.”
“We know!” - “Understood, Commander!!” - “Oh my gosh, I heard there are better-looking armors here. Some are even Earth grade! I want to go!” - “Commander, we understand! Can we go now?” - “...”
The students’ response was expected, not surprising Heian Ciemnosc. He gestured his right palm upwards, indicating that they could go. The students weren’t polite as they nodded at Heian Ciemnosc, immediately departing from the area and leaving Heian Ciemnosc and the others’ remaining teams above the underground hangar/garage.
“Well, what do you want?” Heian Ciemnosc looked at them and said with a thin smile. His darkest eyes were different from when he faced the other students, and his tone changed to a slightly familiar one. Sakura and Elena replied directly, with Arla following after a few seconds, unsure. “Date!” - “Date!” - “Spend these boring days dual cultivation with… you?”
“... Alright,” Heian Ciemnosc’s face was helpless, but why would any man deny spending time with 3 beauties? Even if 2 of them weren’t precisely seductive and universe-toppling beauties, he felt compelled to say only yes to them, sigh. One was a member of his team, another was a team leader, and the last one was a Second Step cultivator in charge of the former. How could they be this irresponsible?

Heian Ciemnosc took their hands with his arms and hands, Arla grabbed his right arm, and Elena took his hand, and Sakura, on the other side, had both as they departed from the area, too. The rest of the COs, team members, and those team’s protectors shook their heads before walking out. Some went alone, some with pairs or small groups. Very few went together with a big group.
Higher in the skies, the Supervisor tasked with protecting them was talking with a well-dressed purple-robed figure. Both were polite and honest to each other as they watched the students below march out of the garage area. As for that matter of some dumb people making a messy situation, it wasn’t even worth mentioning. It was also gone before anything could happen. Even though it did not look the part, this City was heavily guarded and was a Medium City for something.
… Time passed. On the first day, the students went all around, spending their team’s 10,000 Supreme Powerful Stones or more, with some spending their Inferior grade Neutral Stones. After recognizing most of the trade areas and wherever merchandise was sold, they spent the second day more relaxed, finding places to meditate and read scriptures, ancient records, and history books from this Kingdom. On the third day, they visited countless zones where one could cultivate, train, and spar with others, either physically or virtually.
As an Upper Kingdom, the benefits only those Leading Students or higher could have access to were rentable in any City. They were of worse quality and couldn’t compare to the Leading Students in the Wrath Nihility Academy. They also had less range, and the features one could play with were limited. But they were still available. That helped the students have a clearer sight of an Upper Kingdom.
Those who had already gone to these and even Supreme Kingdoms, like Clarke, Arla, Yon, and even Elena, were much calmer than the rest, but they still had lots of fun.
Heian Ciemnosc had a blast for each day he spent here. From the beginning to end, the 3 women didn’t let go of him. Elena was already a grown young woman. Arla always had been, and Sakura was, too. They were even with a high cultivation base for their age, making them very valuable to the Academy. But only when they wanted to eat him did they take turns. Arla wanted to eat Heian Ciemnosc with Elena. Sharing was caring for her. But Elena only agreed on their last day. She finally understood what it felt like to be serviced by another woman as her husband destroyed her holes.
Sakura didn’t hesitate to destroy Arla’s body with her hands, mouth, and feet. While Heian Ciemnosc plowed them fast and furious. It was a day filled with walking and enjoying the passing of time and nights filled with kittenish, hungry, and satisfied moans echoing everywhere within Heian Ciemnosc’s Golden Array Snakes. Elena was slowly getting into Heian Ciemnosc’s activities with multiple women, but she only liked it slightly for now.
On the other hand, as the days passed and they were finally going to depart in the morning, it was still dark and before 5 AM as Heian Ciemnosc walked through the corridors of the hotel where his Concealed Ornament Team, Elena’s Crystal Fist Team, and Cari’s team took residence in. When he was turning over a corner, he was slightly intrigued as he arrived before a young girl who had been waiting there, standing and doing nothing, for almost half an hour.
“Hey, little girl, what are you doing in such a place all alone so early in the morning?” Heian Ciemnosc said after he looked at her back for a little while. She turned around softly, seemingly not angered or scared by his sudden words. As she turned around, her beauty was revealed before him. She had cinnamon skin, large black eyes, short-length hair even for a man’s style, and a thin and short body build.
She spoke softly and hushedly, almost as if she wasn’t worried about finding a mighty handsome, tall, pale young man standing before her without her knowing. She looked 16 years old, and Heian Ciemnosc’s Spirit Sense was also reading her natural age to be that amount. However, her cultivation base was at the Spirit Rebirth realm 8th stage, as high as his terrible three and higher than Violet.
“I’m not that little. In the village I come from, I would already have the grandma’s status and be praised by many,” the young girl said, her eyes fearlessly pouring her innocence and resilience into Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes. “Hi, I’m from the Obscure Orb Sect, Inner Sect Disciple Pera. I’m gonna be a big powerhouse in the future. How about you?”
“...” Heian Ciemnosc was speechless at first but then grinned from corner to corner from his mouth as he presented himself. “Heian Ciemnosc, Leading Student of the Wrath Nihlity Academy. Commander of the First Step’s forces and married. I will rule everything in all that exists, and there is in the future. How about that?”
Fera’s eyes lighted up when he mentioned the Academy, looking at him with brighter eyes as she recognized who this fella was. But then, she genuinely looked at Heian Ciemnosc after he spoke about his crazy ambitions. Not disbelieving him in the slightest, she said as she slowly turned her head to the left, “The whole world? Everything? Isn’t that going to be too troublesome? Well, whatever! Good luck to you. Dream and act big.”
“Oh… were you abandoned by your fellow sect members?” Heian Ciemnosc asked as Fera seemed out of words, turned around, and was about to walk away from him. She stopped and looked back at him, her gaze slightly down. “Uh-ha.”
“Do you have any news around the City?” Heian Ciemnosc asked again, making Fera defiantly cross her arms in front of her small chest. But she then faltered and relaxed, “Yeah, I do.”
“Come with me. I’m the Wrath Nihility Academy’s group leader sent to the Sanz Kingdom. You can give me some information, and we’ll bring you along if you don’t mind.” Heian Ciemnosc began walking as he spoke. Fera didn’t refuse him, directly following him and walking side by side as she chatted with him.
“How many are there in your group?” - “More than 10,000 students.” - “Huh?! Why so little?” - “... How many did your Sect bring?” - “A couple hundred thousand.” - “... Oh.” - “Where is your Sect located? How far away from the Academy?” - “Eh~, you don’t know? I thought a Wrath Nihility Academy student would know. You can check that in your Universal Conveyance.” - “Or you can just tell me now that we’re talking.” - “Mmmm, like half an Existence away from the Academy.” - “...”
… After a short while, Heian Ciemnosc and Fera arrived at the dining hall he had rented for the whole early morning. His teams were there and chatting with each other as they ate and drank in peace. Heian Ciemnosc’s presence didn’t go unnoticed. But he didn’t like being called whenever he went somewhere, so the others didn’t make a commotion and continued to converse with their fellows.
Fera looked around and was slightly amazed. She asked Heian Ciemnosc with innocence written on her young face. “Woah! Does your Secon Step organization actually eat? I thought they were all brutes and savages. How often do they behave like this?”
“...” Heian Ciemnosc raised his eyebrows, understanding how higher organizations would look at those in the First or Second Step a little. He spoke without looking at her and asked at the end of his words. “Every day, every time to eat if possible. If not, at least twice a day. By the way, what Step is your Obscure Orb Sect?”
“Mine? Ah, that’s right, you know nothing. The Obscure Orb Sect is a Fourth Step organization.” Fera suddenly smiled, squinted her proud eyes, and nudged at him with her left elbow before they sat down around a table with a bunch of people. “How is it? Am I not like a rich lady now? I can buy you this dinner if you want. I don’t mind, heheh.”
“Are you sure about that?” Heian Ciemnosc thinly smiled and looked at her. Fera suddenly felt like a trapped mouse and shook her head like she was fighting for her life. Heian Ciemnosc ignored her and waited for some time. At this moment, Esteban ate a little from his soup as Violet and the other COs looked at Fera, asking the latter. “Who are you? Where do you come from?”
“Ah! I’m from the Obscure Orb Sect, but I was left behind, and they didn’t bring me with them to attend the auction. This big brother over here told me you will bring me around if I give him some information. Is that true? Or am I now in danger?” Fera responded, then asked, her facial expressions changing, but the COs kept looking at her somewhat severely… Her cultivation base…
“Mn, I won’t do anything to you unless you want me to.” Heian Ciemnosc received a bowl filled with yummy soup and crab, crab-shark, crab-octopus, crab-bird, and crab-jellyfish limbs. He looked at Fera and said, setting his gaze on her face. Fera crossed her wrists and shook her head, rapidly declaring, “Noooooo, no sir, noooo!”
Heian Ciemnosc smirked from the left corner of his mouth and began wolfing on his soup. Elena looked at him on his left and was slightly lost in thought. Even when being a pig… he looked perfect! She ate her bowl as Fera began chatting with the others, feeling like one of them right away and even more as she received a bowl of the same. Looking at it and at Heian Ciemnosc’s bowl, she was like a little sister wanting to be like her big bro, copying everything he did to amuse and make him proud of her.
“By the way, you’re surely a talented girl. So, how come they left you here?” At this moment, Violet, the official Concealed Ornament Team’s Elder Sister, asked Fera with a lot of meat from Esteban’s soup in her cheeks. This would’ve caused a massive destruction of tension to arise in a relationship. But the latter was lovestruck upon seeing a little bit of tomboyish Valeria.
Fera pouted and looked down, the corners of her mouth dripping with delicious soup she forgot to drink down her throat. With a muffled, weak gulp, she said with the lightest tone. “They still can’t tell my cultivation base. Most of them are First Step cultivators experiencing the world. Even the Sect didn’t give them enough money for the auction’s primary prizes. They just don’t care about me, and … I guess I was too enthusiastic lately?”
“...” Heian Ciemnosc shook his head, raising his eyebrows. ‘So even higher organizations can be this detrimental to one’s talents. Good for the Academy, then.’
…
