Interchanging Dust Dynasty's Home
"..." Heian Ciemnosc's body could only continue to tremble. But, suddenly, he gradually turned his head, and his darkest eyes became fixated on a particular direction. The world quieted down a lot more, and Heian Ciemnosc didn't know who to thank until an image appeared in his eyes despite the monumental distance between him and there. He wasn't the only one... everyone in an unknown, seemingly unlimited radius had the same notion.
“!...” The battlefield turned more silent, much more than it already was. Something seemed to crawl into everyone’s eyes and instantly moved to their necks as they looked where the Interconnecting Rupture Dimension’s entrance was. It was the same as it had once appeared before the coalition’s spaceships. Now, however, it rapidly lost its glow. It wasn’t hiding…but dying.
“No!” - “What happened… to the Dimension?” - “Is something happening?” - “Dammit… There goes our reason to stay here…” Words flew around space, and both sides held their bodies and clenched their hearts tight. As the sphere disappeared, a silhouette showed itself, but it didn’t move.
In a locked position, the figure turned its head and looked like a tall woman. Her effeminate features weren’t much, but they seemed gracious, and if anyone had a tiny speck of consciousness and knowledge, they would recognize she seemed Godly. Suddenly, from the few billion fighting and trillions of civilians, citizens, and low Step cultivators, Heian Ciemnosc was the only one to feel like she looked at him. And then, the glow finally dissipated.
“...” Celestial Isayid’s image cleared up, and everyone could see her move her head before returning to look ahead. Her right arm was raised, extended forth, and with a colorful, reality-bending blob the size of her palm caged in her hand.
Only Heian Ciemnosc’s Team and Yun Tang saw the truly terrifying truths and the result of harming the purest form of the Motherblood Expiritus. Thus, only they recognized what that thing in the Celestial’s hand was. The eyes the Celestial showed just now weren’t amicable, too. But they weren’t directed to Heian Ciemnosc, or his Team and Crimsonbreaking Faction, for that matter.
Buuuuum~- FUTOMP~~!!! Suddenly, from a random point somewhere a few dozen meters before the Celestial… Another person appeared. It was a black woman with a youthful appearance, wearing a verdant, semi-transparent crown. Her hair was picked up in many bun-sized braids. She seemed strict and complicated to approach, but after she appeared, she nodded at Celestial Isayid before joining her to maintain the Interconnecting Rupture Dimension.
The blob became several times smaller but still moved and had as many colors as before. Fortunately, not even a second later, space changed in the distance as a man with blue skin and an Elf’s features… He was a rare Blue Elf!
“The others are coming,” the Blue Elf said. Everyone on the battlefield looked at these magnificent figures appearing one after the other, and suddenly, they felt like it was only the beginning. As if reading their thoughts, the Blue Elf man somberly spoke to the ladies before joining them. “This is unprecedented…”
“I won’t be able to move away… The Mistaken Fissure Upper Kingdom-” Celestial Isayid said, interrupted by the Blue Elf. Meanwhile, more and more figures skyrocketed the hell to this area and joined with only a mild greeting, as the black woman did, or directly helping. The Blue Elf stared at her and said, “Leave it for later. The evacuation seems fine. There’s nothing we can do for now.”
“...” For the first time in the world’s new Change, everyone witnessed a sad face from a Godly being. The Celestial kept quiet and turned her head to look at the Interconnecting Rupture Dimension’s tin entrance for several seconds without speaking, but the struggle within was cleaner than crystal clear water.
“To all coalition forces,” Celestial Isayid opened her mouth but didn’t sound gentle or soft anymore. “I ask of you… annihilate them all. Burn our enemy to the ground before I am able to do so myself…!”
… ta- rarara… pfiuh, pfiuh, pfiuh… veeeeeem, veem~~!!
After a mere second since the Celestial spoke, a few dozen coalition spaceships opened fire at an enemy Frigate. The enemy responded immediately, sending rockets from one of the Supreme Battleships on the battlefield from their side. But it was quickly responded to by the coalition’s Cruisers’ rocket launchers before being followed in a full-on attack by the coalition Supreme Battleships.
There weren’t more than a few Supreme Battleships and a couple dozen Low Battleships. Every single one of these was fundamental for the battlefield, and not many more would arrive in time before a victorious side emerged. The other organizations in the coalition were at least Galaxies away. Let alone those outside the Universe who took weeks to travel.
“Keep moving, next target!” Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t left behind, and he ordered his laurel formation nearly at the same time the rest of the coalition forces resumed the battle. Dozens of enemy Frigates and a few Destroyers were rapidly destroyed in the confusion, turning the balance in the coalition’s favor.
The fight was resumed just like that. But it wasn’t only space that was contested. More and more evacuating vessels jumped into space from the Mistaken Fissures Kingdom. Its population was constantly sent outside the Kingdom to escape the terrifying situation. Although the previous explosion was controlled to the degree only its most extensive open sea and some of its lands were obliterated into less than nothingness, the rest of the Kingdom was attacked by flying tools and devices in the Third Step.
There were not many, but they spread everywhere in the unaffected zones, which was ⅔ of the Kingdom, but each was incredibly destructive. A danger for every living being and environment wherever they were. They continued unleashing destruction in the Kingdom at a smaller scale, but one that rapidly turned severe as time passed, and they were not stopped.
The Fighters flying around, hunting and stopping them could only delay the inevitable. Whenever 1 was destroyed, another, or several more, showed up and started doing the same. Some threw melting contents everywhere in settlements and natural resources, while others killed all life in the Kingdom.
It was a totally destructive war. It was done individually, more or less, but it efficiently overturned the Interchanging Dust Dynasty’s shortened defenses. Even though most inhabitants were evacuated, some were still caught by the enemy. One thing certain was that these tools and devices used to destroy the Mistaken Fissures Upper Kingdom were all operated by the Tortoise Glabella Pavilion’s people and not any other organization.
After they caused enough damage on the surface, they would drill underneath and strike who knew what, when, and with which resources. In the end, every zone in the Kingdom would tremble and experience severe ruptures separating Regions by dozens of kilometers before everything fell apart and the Kingdom faltered under the incessant, pure destruction of its fundamentals.
But things weren’t as horrible in space. The coalition already had a clear objective. To defend the Interchanging Dust Dynasty from a preposterous Third Step organization that arranged the destruction and harming of one of the Existence’s Overlords and one so close to the Fourth Step.
And no one could even imagine how the Tortoise Glabella Pavilion affords so many ‘allies’ as a Third Step organization. But that wasn’t important. What the coalition spaceships’ crew members, the soldier units, thought and felt was the need to avenge the Interchanging Dust Dynasty from the spineless, cowardly enemy who couldn’t win against them but decided to destroy an entire Kingdom just to damage them.
Meanwhile, the enemy, who had already become slightly bested when the battle unfolded and as it continued, lost their goal when the unexpected happened, and a whole Kingdom was bound for destruction. They weren’t aware this would happen. Just as they weren’t aware that they would become Kingdom genocidal.
After the Celestial’s word, they were further subjected to the critical condition after becoming co-conspirators of an Upper Kingdom’s destruction. Their morale was as low as it gets, and the coalition rushed, recklessly flying about, dived, and went all-out in destroying every one of them!!
And when the battlefield least expected it, the Crimsonbreaking Faction showed its definite move. After half an hour since Heian Ciemnosc’s safety was ensured, the Chairwoman came and led the Crimsonbreaking Faction with a couple Supreme Battleships. Nothing else, not one spaceship less or extra.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Their entrance was like a door slammed in their faces for both the coalition and the enemy. This indicated one thing: Although everyone here expected a formal alliance with the Interchanging Dust Dynasty, only the Crimsonbreaking Faction showed up with their Carrier and Supreme Battleship, the best of their best. The Crimsonbreaking Faction… was definitely considering an alliance with the Dynasty!
The battle’s last phase commenced. The Crimsonbreaking Carrier flew in the middle of the battlefield, away from the Interconnecting Rupture Dimension’s containment zone, and sent hundreds of thousands of drones and Fighters everywhere! It didn’t even move, letting the enemy have a go against them and letting their shields receive the attacks as nearly all anti-missile and anti-projectile turrets focused on protecting the coalition spaceships, especially from the Crimsbonreaking Faction.
The battle was rapidly progressing. The enemy was being crushed, and the coalition suffered not as many casualties after the Crimsonbreaking Faction showed why they were still so feared. Despite another half an hour, the battle continued with the Crimsonbreaking Carrier’s shield not faltering. Meanwhile, its Supreme Battleships danced everywhere, moving nonstop and taking the universal focus as a joke. It changed directions so much and advanced with its large engines that it was simply a hopeless situation after that half an hour.
Whichever enemy saw a Crimson Supreme Battleship nearby knew they would most likely die in the next few seconds. Shells, bullets, and a couple missiles were enough to destroy any Frigate and Destroyer, raining upon them as if hundreds of Fighters were thrashing them single-handedly. Their defense and energy capacity was even greater than the Crimsonbreaking Carrier, so it was even more of a hopeless situation for the enemy.
They tried hard. Struggling even when their deaths were assured and fighting without hope in their hearts after their cries for aid and forgiveness were returned with incessant firepower. No enemy was allowed to leave the battlefield if not in peace or fueling an explosion that rapidly dissipated or as their limbs were rapidly eaten by the Elemental Poisoning.
The universe was a quiet place. The world was vast. But all Universal Land waited for more news on the battle to show. Despite not believing this was the starting mark of the world’s new Change… something told them that… it was not simple.
Thousands of enemy spaceships fell before the Crimsonbreaking Faction showed up with their bigshot arsenal. Several thousand enemy spaceships fell once the Crimsbonreaking Faction joined the battle. Finally, tens of thousands of enemy spaceships were crushed with the canvas of an Upper Kingdom crumbling from the inside, whole, helping them become a vast painting to remember… To step into the history of the world.
. . .
2 days after the battle ended. In a neighboring Kingdom to the Mistaken Fissures Upper Kingdom… now a blob of smeared magma in space, slowly consumed by the Elemental Poisoning.
A ring was placed around the flaming blob. It was to protect the stability of the world in case something happened. It wouldn’t be strange if a Disaster took place now. In fact, the Galaxy and the whole Universe it was in expected it and had made preparations for it. Other than that, measures after the events were only followed with the Universal Conveyance condemning the Tortoise Glabella Pavilion and co-conspirators…
Needless to say, the battle’s victor became public once the Crimsonbreaking Faction opened a worldwide live. Hong Mei and Elyor gave a quick and sideless briefing of the situation. It was a genuinely neutral report, but the Crimsonbreaking Faction openly showed their disdain for those actions, marking the Tortoise Glabella Pavilion in their ‘lists’ and formally solidifying their alliance with the Interchanging Dust Dynasty. Now, adding the Wrath Nihility ACademy, the Crimsonbreaking Faction officially shared the same side as 2 Overlord organizations. Wasn’t this… change?
Alyona didn’t show herself other than in images speaking with the second-in-commands of the Interchanging Dust Dynasty, Phosphorescent Flower Sect, and Obscure Orb Sect’s delegates that came rushing here after their leaders went to the Mistaken Fissures Kingdom, no longer existent.
The battle was still a graveyard for scraps gnawed by the Elemental Poisoning. Nobody dared come salvage after the Crimsonbreaking Faction appeared, fearing they would disrupt the ‘peace’ that came with such a monumental event took place. However, things calmed down quickly despite the messy Universal Conveyance and the cultivators running their mouths in it, rampaging.
In one of the buildings the Kingdom lent to the coalition for the time being, emptying a third of a Small City, while spaceship reparations occurred outside, in the open, Heian Ciemnosc slowly dressed up. He put his dark coat on without anything below, standing beside his individual bed, and looked at himself in the mirror. After tilting his head to the right, letting it hang, he flashed dark Neutral Energy, and a simple black shirt appeared on his chest, covering his mighty-fine pale skin.
Step-... “!” Just as Heian Ciemnosc stepped to the right and prepared to leave, his medallion heated up. He raised his eyebrows and opened the door while his left hand went to his Covert Space bag and touched it inside the bag’s space. Immediately, a recorded voice sent him a message. “Heian Ciemnosc, alias black monster. Report to the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s allocated port in the Numb Agitation Kingdom with your Team.”
Creak~. “Ah!” Heian Ciemnosc found Ruo Wei looking down when he opened, distracted. She looked up at him after the message and asked him. “Did you receive it, too?”
“Mn, let’s go. I’ve just told the others,” Heian Ciemnosc said. He walked past Ruo Wei, and she turned to walk beside him. Heian Ciemnosc held her lower back with his left arm for a little bit of time before letting go of her. Ruo Wei’s inner, dull feelings were momentarily appeased as she granted Heian Ciemnosc a bump fist on his left shoulder.
…Step, step, step, step, step…
Heian Ciemnosc and Ruo Wei walked to the street and took a vehicle to drive to the port. It wasn’t far, barely 200 km away. It was not an ordinary vehicle as it rapidly sped through the speeding platforms. It arrived at its destination in under 10 minutes, with Heian Ciemnosc helping Ruo Wei out, and walked towards the already bustling port.
The Crimsonbreaking Faction had moved their troops outside their temporary arrangements and returned to the base. However, some spaceships remained behind, including the Frigate Heian Ciemnosc’s Team belongs to. A couple dozen Crimsonbreaking spaceships were docked in this port, already repaired but still with people moving around, resupplying them. Fighters were docked on another part of the port and constantly resupplied by auxiliary units. Among them was the Ornament and Heian Ciemnosc’s Fighter Team.
They walked towards their Fighter and noticed everyone was preparing to leave. Some Auxiliary Soldiers looked at Heian Ciemnosc without really much respect, just casually, and nodded at him. Their nods carried a solemn attitude. Perhaps… it was recognition. Or maybe they honored Heian Ciemnosc’s doings during the battle.
To Heian Ciemnosc, it was surreal. 50 hours ago, he was still in his first space battle, conducting a small group of Fighters and his Team. Fighting against tens of thousands of enemy spaceships while tens of thousands of spaceships covered him and other Fighters, destroying the other side.
Heian Ciemnosc had, for the first time, participated in a large-scale battle, and while it was a small role, he did more than he imagined he could. Under his command, the ‘laurel group’ destroyed nearly 130 Frigates and 15 Destroyers! Among them, most were offensive Frigates and from Low to Middle class and a couple of Advanced class Destroyers.
In the end, he lost a couple Teams’ Fighters, but their pilots were rescued by other Fighters in the ‘laurel group’ before they could be killed off or hurt by the Elemantal Poisoning. However, the achievement Heian Ciemnosc’s group gained wasn’t small. Even those who lost their Fighters weren’t looked down on by the Soldiers, let alone the Auxiliary Soldiers.
“Woah, I think we’re returning soon,” Ruo Wei said. Her words left a little meaning, which Heian Ciemnosc rolled his eyes to and caught her right hand before turning to her and said, “I’ll most likely have a chance to speak with the Celestial if they haven’t finished containing the Motherblood Expiritus… I’m sure the Crimsonbreaking Faction would also appreciate me forming a deeper connection with the Dynasty. They formalized the alliance, after all, no?”
“Yes, yeah… okay. Thank you, blackie…” Ruo Wei said, softly speaking his pet name. Heian Ciemnosc stopped, already where their Fighters were, and looked at the tomboy dreamily looking down. Heian Ciemnosc stared at her left profile face and said, “You’re really calling me that from now on, huh?”
“Ah… hehe,” Ruo Wei retracted her neck and thought about it. She curiously looked up at Heian Ciemnosc with big eyes, studied his face, and nodded. “Mn, I think so. Why not?”
“...” Heian Ciemnosc smiled and helplessly shook his head. He turned around, with Ruo Wei repeating, and faced his teammates. Yun Tang and Riquel were also there, looking at Heian Ciemnosc with eyes that clearly told goodbye.
“Hey, new Team Leader, are you trying to take Beto’s steps and start by stealing our sweet flower?” Clanton smiled and said, followed by his harem, who equally smiled shyly at their future husband’s words. Heian Ciemnosc slightly tilted his head to the right and beamed. Suddenly, Clanton fell danger, but not from him, no… from Ruo Wei!
“Go… I’ll prep these bitches for you,” Ruo Wei said, pushing Heian Ciemnosc forwards slightly, and then lunged at her target like a cheetah towards her prey!
Stomp! Daaaaaaash~!!
“Come heeeere, raaaaascaaaaaal!!” Thus, Ruo Wei went beast mode and chased Clanton, who helplessly fled under his harem’s noses. They giggled and pointed at their terrifyingly pathetic husband. Oh, how they adored him. Chased by a tomboy, fearing for his safety, lonely in times of struggle.
Meanwhile, Heian Ciemnosc looked at Riquel and Yun Tang, who stepped towards him with the former with a smile on his face and the latter having a silly, wide grin from ear to ear. It was time to bid farewell. Heian Ciemnosc might have another chance to interact with the Interchanging Dust Dynasty, but these folk, who have unquestionably helped and been for him, would depart from him and who knew how long until they met again.
