The Neutral Existences
Not knowing the hired maid to clean the alchemy store was on her way to guiding the world on a route to aid his future progress. Heian Ciemnosc and Hongliang Shu moved to the Overline Existence, the Bluenet Nation's Overline Universal Land's 'capital'. When Heian Ciemnosc opened his alchemy store, he didn't know how far has his previous doings affected the world. The citizens there were acclaimed more than they would have before, and the civilians treated them more than right.
However, these were quite a few levels below the newly recruited citizens whose training regimen Heian Ciemnosc created. Nevertheless, it could be seen that the diverse Universal Lands began adopting the methods he had shown in his ascension to the world’s stage.
Regardless, 23 years have passed since then. To celebrate the Change’s 545th year in its 3rd month, they went to this Overline Existence. Recently, there were rumors of one of the Overline Universal Land’s Divine Kingdoms being hijacked of one of their rumored Super Carriers.
Unlike the Carriers or even Motherships, these Super Carriers are meant to bring the bombardment to the target, built entirely to protect it from the outside. As for its interiors, it was rumored to be fully automatized before the civilians’ rising surged. Now, it seemed like many civilians would act as garrison units within them. These were virtually the size of a Small City.
As for their prowess, it wasn’t known, but anyone could imagine that the Bluenet Nation had a secret weapon in progress. This was just a rumor, though. Many wondered about it and joked in the Universal Conveyance. The Collariverse Universe incident had already been long left behind.
The Existences wars involved more deaths and benefits gained in the Universal Lands. With those events happening before Heian Ciemnosc became the Chief of the Crimsonbreaking Faction territory, the Collariverse Universe was like a long-lasting surprise. It brought color to the daily cultivation life without conflict, those who meditated or went into secluded cultivation.
The rest still lived their struggles through the world of cultivation and didn’t have much interest in learning about another Kingdom’s wars.
Currently, the Super Carrier everyone in the Overline Universal Land searched was handled by two people. They didn’t even stay inside and sat on the nose of the Super Carrier, finding the space scenery beautiful as they sneaked into another Divine Kingdom.
Heian Ciemnosc and Hongliang Shu sat with their feet dangling in space, with their heels sometimes striking the metal plate below their knees. This Super Carrier wasn’t something as harmless as other people thought it to be. In fact, Heian Ciemnosc and Hongliang Shu immediately came here after deciding to return. They wanted to bid the Universal Lands a fitting farewell before becoming absent from them.
However, these Super Carriers didn’t just carry with countless bullets, shells, missiles, and torpedoes. There was something else in them, something whose experimentation had only just begun, and Halonso caught upon it a few Epochs before Heian Ciemnosc was born.
Essence detonation. Essence. Something that only several dozen attained in their lives, and just a few dozen ever mastered in the world. This was the research of the acclaimed, most peaceful Existential Sixth Step organization in the Universal Lands.
When a God or Goddess self-detonates, the resulting explosion can even end a Divine Kingdom if this one is left unprotected from laws and nature. A common occurrence after the peak of the Great Sage’s Change, where countless Divine Kingdoms fell during the 10 year war. Those weren’t simple things.
Since yore, the world has always wished for a bigger, more destructive weapon. Civilians’ nuclear toys were only so worthwhile in even a Minor Kingdom. They could only damage failed Kingdoms or planets, rocks without cultivation, basically.
The pure energy was the first experiment, which was rapidly thrown away. Pure energy could only be so smooth and manipulable. If it wasn’t for refining into one’s energy, it was useless. It has always been there, and the times it was used for ‘wrong’ were numerous before it was decided to not be ‘the way’ of things.
Elemental weaponry was also an important period of time when the world of yore attempted to do the same as with pure energy weapons, but with 5 or even all 7 Elements. However, while there was some success at first, trillions of kilometers away from truly managing to create an Elemental weapon, the only way was to use Elemental materials.
Otherwise, they were as good as using sticks and rocks. The Elements were even more impossible to manipulate without one’s energy, Soul, and Spirit Sense. Even in array formations, they can only follow robotic, automatized commands, and not become as ‘lifelike’ as Elemental Disasters. Those that worked like upgraded missiles were hundreds of times more costly than rockets. Thus, these were also given a negative conclusion.
In the end, through trial and error, the world became used to the machine guns, artillery guns, and missiles, similar to those from today. They could vary and change a little more according to strategies working during the Eon, Archeon, or Change. So far, the current weaponry and ammunition has more or less prevailed since the Lords disappeared.
However, these Essence detonation bombs were nothing that should have ever happened. Essence was above Energy, and it mingles with the Elements, laws, and nature perfectly. Of course, this all depends on one’s capabilities. Their manipulation and understanding is learnt in the Fifth Step, while its mastering in the Sixth Step. It is said that only Lords are above Essence. But things might not be like so, since a lot of time has passed since they existed.
Who knew what kind of most stupid power a weapon like this could have? The world had no idea, because not only was it impossible to build a bomb of Essence, as it would either dissipate back into the person’s body, or smoke into thin air. Nobody wanted to play with such a valuable, intricate, and world-like thing.
However, there it was. The Bluenet Nation had researched for Epochs under the sights of other Existential Sixth Step organizations thirsting their civilization and resources. Their manpower was also magnificent, especially because of their Divine Art. However, the Great Sage wanted the Bluenet Nation’s personnel more than anyone else’s. The other Existential Sixth Step organizations could only wait for an opportunity.
In the end, the opportunity arrived, but the Bluenet Nation was more prepared than them to survive, not to ‘win’ a seat in the Universal Lands. The rest is history.
“… Your mother did such a good work, eh?” Hongliang Shu said as she held Heian Ciemnosc’s left hand on the Super Carrier’s surface. She dangled her feet back and forth, accidentally caving it further in every time. Heian Ciemnosc’s lifted head tilted to the left. His darkest eyes looked at her and nodded, “Oh. She was the best.”
“I cannot imagine how terrifying you would’ve been if she didn’t educate you. Ah, mothers are so powerful, hm~?” Hongliang Shu said, balancing slightly to the left and right as she also looked up. Heian Ciemnosc smiled and blinked before staring up into the sky. Then, he squeezed his grip on her hand.
“We’ve come a long way, eh?” Heian Ciemnosc’s words trailed into space. Hongliang Shu’s attitude changed. She moved her bum to lean on his shoulder and gently closed her eyes. With a breathy voice, she spoke. “Yes, my love.”
“They’ll pay,” Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes suddenly hardened. His words sounded venomous and hoarse, barely dragged-on. Hongliang Shu meekly smiled with thin lips, from ear to ear, and nestled her head on his right trapezius muscle before voicing, “Mn. Make them pay. They’ve asked for it.”
That wasn’t just an expression. They really asked for it. Just like a Disaster is formed from either nature’s cruelty, Gods and Goddesses’ fights, and the violation of laws, nature, and the Elements. A self-brought calamity is impossible to avoid, and one’s perdition.
The people in the world has acted recklessly, imprudent, and heinously since yore. Heian Ciemnosc would’ve taken more time to incarnate, as would Hongliang Shu watch over the world, peaceful and longing for the reckoning of the world’s creator. However, they struck a lingering wound to the world, time after time. She had first-hand witnessed them and has been there since the beginning, albeit after her death and unlike the Elements, who became part of the world.
The Fragmentation Catastrophe, the beginning of Changes, the erroneous utilization of the Elements, the Elemental Masters, the Lords, the persecution of Time, and the Great Sage until his death. Every one of these things brought the world to further collapse.
Were not for these, for them, performing these events, the world wouldn’t have given birth to Heian Ciemnosc before it naturally occurred. However, the violation of everything in all that exists and there is fed the process, shortening its remaining time periodically.
Now, it was no longer Heian Ciemnosc’s reckoning, what Hongliang Shu had waited for and longed. It was the world’s reckoning of being taught their very well learned lessons. He had arrived, and now, he was just beginning.
“Everything’s ready. Let’s get ready to knock and run,” Heian Ciemnosc said, impulsing his body upwards. He stood on his feet with a smooth motion and stared at the Divine Kingdom ahead. Then, his feet stepped off the Super Carrier just as its 100 extra large engines activated at once.
Hongliang Shu continued nestling on Heian Ciemnosc’s chest with their arms around each other. The watched from bout 200 billion kilometers away as the Super Carrier disappeared from their naked eyesight, becoming a little star, thinner and thinner. However, the Diving Kingdom remained as insanely large as any other, looking like a big planet if they were just a few tens of thousands of kilometers away from it.
Stolen novel; please report.
Their eyes were fully open, entertained with the expectation of the glow about to emerge. Since neither Hongliang Shu nor Sara warned him of the danger, Heian Ciemnosc unworriedly watched with a calm smile on his overly pale face.
Ruuuuuuuuuuuu~ uuuuu~ uuuuuumm… bleeeeeee~!!
They watched until the Super Carrier blasted directly into the Divine Kingdom. At first, the Super Carrier wasn’t contacted as it had the Bluenet Nation emblem. However, after it was recognized as a Super Carrier by a superior, and the information matched the ‘missing’ Super Carrier, they tried contacting with it.
However, they received no response. Indeed, there was no one inside. Nothing at all, only a major success of their project. It flew faster and faster towards them, unlike any other spaceship ever could. Finally, some orbiting space stations opened fire, doing nothing to its shields and armor before being stopped by their superiors. It was both useless and dangerous.
Within just a minute, the Super Carrier crashed into the Divine Kingdom’s surface, rapidly becoming a burst of white light that transcended imagination. It spread from the crashing site to the rest of the Super Carrier. But as it became a glow white, it penetrated into the Divine Kingdom. Laws were pushed apart, like a child bashed away by a charging bull.
Then, as it neared the nucleus, already disappeared from the Divine Kingdom’s surface, a blue, transcendental glow formed a sphere in the middle of everything. Although the Divine Kingdom blocked any direct sight to it, the glow resurfaced everywhere.
The earlier tremor was already shocking to the inhabitants, but when they looked at the blue glow coming from underneath, they felt an ephemeral fear before they rapidly disintegrated… along with the entire Divine Kingdom.
The explosion was so severe that the space in a 50 billion kilometers radius rumbled and became flooded with endless, black butterflies. Space was close to breaking in that area. Meanwhile, the orbiting space stations went off, losing all energy and light before they were drawn into the transcendental blue glow.
They distorted before being eaten by the blue sphere. When it finished eating them, it became 3 times the size of the Divine Kingdom it just disappeared.
“Hoo hoo! Let’s run,” Hongliang Shu motherly celebrated, as if trying to cheer a saddened kid, before facing Heian Ciemnosc. She smiled and held his left hand before making a striding motion. Her body zoomed into the distance, bringing Heian Ciemnosc with her as they escaped the crime scene, but she didn’t hide from the prying eyes.
FUTOMP. A person arrived before the blue sphere and immediately knew what had happened. It was a Beast with antlers on his head. He immediately realized that the Essence bomb prototype was disordered when it exploded, but that only made things worse. It meant that the Essence bomb was capable of more if its explosiveness was controlled.
However, he didn’t have time to dread. He pushed his arms forth and sent his Essence out, but he immediately felt like a mantis trying to stop a meteorite. His eyes widened. At once, more existences and beings arrived. They didn’t ask anything, as they perceived the same as the Beast with antlers. They worked together to put the blue sphere under control, avoiding its expansion as the Elemental Poisoning surged towards it.
Then, another existence arrived. She didn’t directly help but questioned as she frowned, “The responsible ones, that black monster and that girl, are still out there! Aren’t we going to chase them first?!”
“This is priority!” The Beast with antlers roared, venomously staring at the woman before refocusing on stopping the blue sphere’s expansion. The woman gritted her teeth before looking at the direction where the perpetrators left and where a Divine Kingdom used to exist before finally helping the group. All existences and beings joined the fray.
It was a perfect moment for others to attack their Universal Land, but too many things were happening. The Bluenet Nation couldn’t even tell if the Divine Kingdom was infiltrated or if the Super Carrier’s Essence weaponry prototype was activated because their nature reading was completely helpless here, useless.
If they were to tell the world who it was, just to pour salt and crime in Heian Ciemnosc’s name, they would grant Heian Ciemnosc more fame and recognition than hatred and isolation. Furthermore, the other Existential Sixth Step organizations weren’t clueless. What if they asked? No. What would they say?
The other Existential Sixth Step organizations, on the other hand, couldn’t tell what was exactly happening, and any information from the Universal Conveyance was blocked off. This was clearly not a small matter, but they could feel the fluctuations from afar.
They had witnessed the last times when the Great Sage acted, and only his prowess back then was as destructive or deadly as this. What did the Overline Universal Land encountered… or did?
In the end, the Overline Universal Land gave a notice of what happened. One of their Main Kingdoms was studying Essence-manipulation to power up a Divine Kingdom-wide outer shield. Something went wrong and a catastrophe occurred… a self-brought calamity.
Tragic. Life was this delicate. Hundreds of quadrillions were butchered in the blink of an eye, leaving nothing for the rest of the world to know about. It even happened in the most scientifically, technologically advanced Bluenet Nation. The Bluenet Nation’s council spread the word that Essence manipulation shouldn’t be underestimated, nor played with. They recalled the ancient records from the past and finished their notice.
Were the other Universal Land this gullible? Either way, a couple of days later, several thousand videos of a couple fleeing from countless Godly cultivators and Godly Fleets flooded the universal net. From the Overline Existence to the Overline Universal Land’s borders, leading to the ghost space shared with the Neutral Existences.
One of them was none other than black monster, held by the hand of an intricately perfect, motherly young lady. They wore at ease expressions while fleeing countless bombardments and barrage of projectiles. In the end, they disappeared into the border walls, like passing through a screen of water.
This was… the black monster had the aid of another existence? How in the fuck?!
But the truth of things was there, and it was impossible to ignore. As the black monster became a more and more weird figure, the Universal Lands had no other choice but to place their attention on his past actions. Only when putting pieces of his previous actions together and studying his moves did the world notice something… He had it planned all along?
***
4 days later. In a meeting place where the 7 Universal Land’s rulers congregated. This was but a small space station, where the rulers of each Universal Land would send their Spirit Sense and Soul printed image to this place and meet. No one or something else was near, located within the thick barrier of one of the 7 Universal Land’s borders to the ghost space with the Neutral Existences.
The Toreon Clan, Est Soul Empire, Uster Orion Grotto, Axe-Filany Sect, Heraxle Clan, Flora-Sweet White-Heavens Dynasty, and the recently battered Bluenet Nation’s rulers were present.
Their figures were obscured like a shadow, but their eyes were not. Their discernible intricacies were left out in the open. One had war-addicted, stern, strict eyes. Next to them were wise and unmoved, untouchable eyes. Another had a pair of orange eyes, and the other had the biggest, beastly eyes of the 7 darkened figures.
Another was a pair of humane, contained, polite eyes, with the second last pair belonging to the most beautiful, white fox eyes. Lastly, a pair of eyes that looked like a reptile’s, yet feline, looking hardened, weighing down on something.
“Let’s start this,” the stern eyes spoke. He gestured to the Axe-Filany Sect as the beastly eyes nodded. “Black monster was suspicious of owning a teleportation method, like his Master. But this changed when the videos of him and that girl appeared. She seems to be an existence, but not such power has emerged, not even during the 10 year war. She can only be a being.”
“Her Art is focused on speed. That’s where the black monster’s movements through the Universal Lands comes from, most likely.” The orange eyes continued, “The girl’s movement Art has great capabilities, probably a Divine Art. She should be taken in after black monster is apprehended.”
“Hmm, indeed. This Art… it’s likely new and very elusive.” - “Seems fitting.” - “How have talks with the Neutral Existences gone?”
The group commented a little before the stern eyes loudly and confidently asked. The small room became quiet before the Heraxle Clan’s ruler, tasked with this issue, spoke with a smooth demeanor. “Although their attitude is still below average with us, they have shown signs of wanting to talk and negotiate. I expect to meet with some of their leaders in a year or 2 at most.”
“Hahaha,” the beastly eyes widened further and crackled before friendly beginning, “Brother, have you forgotten how much do these people like fooling us? They don’t care to build a Universal Land, even though the natural laws permit them to. Why? Isn’t it because of their stubbornness? They act like they hear you, then become deaf.”
“It’s true, I got 200 Carriers stolen from them a few hundred years ago.” - “Yeah, one of my family’s maidens was also bewitched to run away!” - “They nearly obtained my son’s Armament in the past century. There’s no doubt about it.”
“…” The humane eyes became silent, closing as their words continued for a little more until the stern eyes stopped it. “That is enough. The Heraxle Clan has gone through enough bloodshed. Does anyone here have something to say before we get to the main point?”
“Indeed, losing hundreds of billions of ‘potentially’ good troops for fostering a danger like the black monster is little,” the white fox eyes spoke, looking at the Heraxle Clan’s direction ruthlessly. Silence permeated the meeting room, tension spread… Then, the fox eyes turned to the Toreon Clan’s direction, coldly saying, “No. I don’t think there’s anything. We should begin. I’ll start.”
“The black monster has proven himself useful. We’ve agreed on turning him to each other, ensuring he isn’t harmed or maimed; for study purposes. I ask the black monster’s first turn to be with the Flora-Sweet White-Heavens Dynasty,” the white fox eyes looked at everyone, knowing they must be snickering at these moments. Then, she gazed in the Heraxle Clan’s direction again, “We’re aware on how to detain him and won’t let him do as he wishes within our territory.”
The room quieted down again, this time because more than once have some Universal Lands acted strangely, even though it was disguised with ‘just in case’ searches for black monster in the past.
Then, the white fox eyes looked in the Bluenet Nation’s direction. Her eyes were indifferent, and her voice cold. “We also can certify the safety of our research. There won’t be accidents which no existence can’t nature read. We’ll proceed with the usual measures we’ve all thought about. Spreading his Bloodline and investigating his innate Divine Art. What’s more, he seems to be liking of my Race. It will be a good start to soften him.”
“… … …” The room fell silent again, incapable of immediately speaking. However, the white fox’s words weren’t wrong. Besides, if someone had the most credible value between the 7, it wasn’t the racist Axe-Filany Sect, utmost corrupted Uster Orion Grotto, isolated and narrow-minded Est Soul Empire. Much less the greedy Heraxle Clan, the weakest, sneaky Bluenet Nation, or the strictest, war-addicted Toreon Clan.
Of course, they wouldn’t say these things out loud. Although the Bluenet Nation’s ruling of their Overline Universal Land was on par if not better, which most likely is, than the Flora-Sweet White-Heavens Dynasty, they just suffered a blow to their public image and capability in everyone else’s eyes.
…
