Saon Gori became an Outer Disciple and remained in that position for nearly 10 years before becoming an Inner Disciple. Needless to say, even with all his effort being fruitful, he took his time experiencing the life in an organization. Not just any, but his first organization ever, and what he thought to be simply the best out there.
He couldn’t compare this experience to other organizations, but with every youngster attitude to the Forbloffende Traes Sect, he knew it wasn’t far from his thoughts. When he became an Outer Disciple, he felt something else. It was as if he became young again. The world welcomed him as a new cultivator despite nearing the Ashes Soul realm.
When he finally mastered his array formations, he spent the rest of his time and money on increasing his learning of another Craftsmaking to become a Core Disciple. The Forbloffende Traes Sect wouldn’t wait for him, neither would the chance to make Pretieta proud arrive before him. He must look for that chance.
Thus, 28 years after the years of growth commenced, Saon Gori became a Core Disciple. He took double the amount that the average Inner Disciple would need to course through those steps. Nevertheless, he wasn’t mocked.
Not only was he known throughout the Vrida Region, he also showcased exemplary Craftsmaking and the heart to cultivate at his rhythm, even in his situation. Furthermore, everyone could commiserate the loss of his wife early on in Pretieta’s life.
Now, he was on his way to achieving the peak of a First Step Craftsmaking profession and becoming an Acting Elder. Just like his daughter became 3 decades ago, more or less.
2 years after winning the mini tournament against the 14 organizations, Pretieta heavily studied like her life depended on it. She researched and investigated until her Craftsmaking profession reached the peak of the First Step. She became the first to gain the honor to genuinely obtain the [Chronicles of Life & Death] Art, and to become an Acting Elder of the Sect at the Spirit Birth realm.
However, she was still required to master another Craftsmaking profession to become an Elder. However, her strength was already there, and she had more than enough to prove herself in that regard.
She spent only 4 years mastering a whole another Craftsmaking profession, as achieving the peak of the first had cost her a lot, and she wasn’t that good at Craftsmaking anyway. However, she showed her exceptional potential as a cultivator, breaking through her limits.
She still had a long time ahead of herself. After becoming an Elder, she immediately broke into the Ashes Soul realm, but couldn’t become an Ancestor-level figure because she needed to achieve the peak of the First Step in 2 Craftsmaking professions.
At a single glance, one could see the disorder that the Sect’s hierarchy system provided. But the lower positions were becoming more and more congruent, solid, and gained their meaning. The Servants, Outer, Inner, and even Core Disciples’ promotions became smoother and started flowing in the direction Heian Ciemnosc had planned it to be.
Pretieta worked her little ass off, and before the 30th year of growth arrived, she achieved peak First Step Craftsmaking in 2 professions, becoming the first Ancestor of the Forbloffende Traes Sect. She was the first Acting Elder, first Elder, and the first Ancestor. The First Disciple was left to eat the dust behind her.
However, she was once again below regarding Craftsmaking even though she had broken into the Crabstynian realm. She needed to achieve peak First Step Craftsmaking in 3 professions. Nonetheless, she had learned a lot during these years. That was: to not rush anything. Guidance and deciphering knowledge came when one was ready to go through it.
On the other hand, Todoro continued being the same dork in anything that didn’t belong to cultivation. Even his Spirit Sense was a little sluggish. However, Heian Ciemnosc knew that it would be different once the Soul was formed. For now, though, Todoro’s greatest challenge weren’t the close calls outside the Sect, but Craftsmaking.
As the First Disciple, he was asked by many juniors for some small guidance after military college or the monthly lectures. Before the years of growth, he couldn’t respond to them all too correctly, but afterwards, seeing his girlfriend work so hard, he had to follow her steps.
Todoro invested more of his time and Stones in Craftsmaking, even gaining a personal mentor whom he could talk about life during break times. As for Pretieta, although she first considered helping her boyfriend for long periods a waste. After becoming an Elder, and giving him a couple of personal lessons, she understood this could help her. And so much at that.
Besides, when they coincidentally went out on missions with their father and father-in-law respectively, Todoro was such a diligent son-in-law and treated Saon Gori like an Ancestral Emperor. It was a little weird to lead a group of disciples, including Saon Gori, outside the Sect. But it became ordinary after a few repetitions.
Todoro became an Acting Elder years after Pretieta, but his cultivation base broke into the Crabstynian realm nearly simultaneously. After becoming an Acting Elder, and after Pretieta became an Elder, they spent slightly less than 3 decades working together every now and then to advance together like a married couple. In the end, Todoro became an Elder while Pretieta an Ancestor. But his cultivation base was already at the Spirit Formation realm…
Even with their payment of 10,000 Inferior Powerful Stones per month, they still spent most of it on their Craftsmaking. Conversely, their Craftsmaking advanced by leaps and bounds, even Todoro’s, considering his ‘especialness’. Others would’ve focused on their cultivation base, but no one in the Forbloffende Traes Sect, not even the Servants, would misuse so many resources.
They gave lectures in the Concourse Lesson in the Throne Halls, which they long moved in to the latter. Pretieta gave 10 lectures per month, receiving only 90 silver coins per disciple in one of them, which was also the most attended; of nature reading specialties.
On the other hand, Todoro only gave his 3 mandatory lectures, of which are all free, since he knows his worth and that he cannot aim high. However, although they were basic, they were helpful, still. Heian Ciemnosc’s lectures were always about attitude and preparing one’s mindset while incorporating pieces of knowledge into his lectures. But the First Disciple and Miss Pretieta were the insurmountable aid they didn’t know they needed to advance, or improve, at the very least.
Todoro was in the Security Quarters though, so he got 4,000 extra Inferior Powerful Stones per month, which he used to make Pretieta blush and shy when going out on dates every 2 weeks. He mostly chose the south, but sometimes went to the forests.
The Universal Conveyances still couldn’t be used, as only Heian Ciemnosc had a Soul in the Sect. It was a slightly comical thing to have, but it couldn’t be helped, at least for now.
On the other hand, the Forbloffende Traes Sect finally met the first batch of members who gained the honor to learn the [Chronicles of Life & Death] a couple of years after Pretieta became an Acting Elder.
After 30 years of cultivation for the Forbloffende Traes Sect … It recruited 2.58 new million members. This time, the Servants were only recruited to a tenth of previous years. This was just Heian Ciemnosc’s intentions to solidify the Sect’s hierarchy, as its members were still in their infancy periods to a solid, stable knowledge to act as the Forbloffende Traes Sect’s foundation.
That brought some surprising dissatisfaction that not many bothered with. They were either not interested in the Sect that much and wanted to give it a try, or only wanted to join the Sect. Either was fine, as 30 years was enough for the lowered influx of Servants to become an ordinary sight to the Vrida Region’s people.
In these 30 years, 919,800 Outer Cultivators were taken in, with 1.668 million Servants entering the Servant Quarters. The Servants in the Sect thus saw an increase to 2.93 million Servants, of which 1.171 became Outer Disciples throughout these 30 years. Adding these, the new Outer Disciples, and the previous, the Sect’s Outer Disciple’s gain was of 4.102 million.
Of those 4.102 million, 1.43 million became Inner Disciples, of which 553 thousand became Core Disciples, and only 902 thousand Inner Disciples remained. It was time for the Sect to welcome new Core Disciples, which it hasn’t seen for nearly 2 decades after it received new members daily.
The remaining Servants were 1.758 million, of which 52,740 became engineers, and 1.05 million were citizens. The total gain of engineers was 115,826, which was slowed with the citizen and cultivator fever during the years of growth. Heian Ciemnosc had worked something to accommodate this and ensure more engineers sprouted from the Sect as the 30 years ended.
As such, the total cultivators in the Sect became 4.809 million, with 4.101 million being disciples. The rest were either citizens or engineers. But then, the first batch of the Forbloffende Traes Sect’s first generation of soldier units finally bloomed.

A few years after the years of growth began, the first batch of 44,750 disciples achieved peak First Step in a Craftsmaking profession. 15 years later, the first generation’s second batch sprouted with 115,580 Core Disciples achieving peak First Step in a Craftsmaking profession. Then, 10 years later, to Heian Ciemnosc’s proud nod, 33,010 Core Disciples achieved peak First Step in a Craftsmaking profession. After 30 years since the years of growth started; 193,340 soldier units were created.
It was an incredible, unthinkable revelation to the Sect members themselves, let alone after these came out to complete missions directly under Pretieta or Todoro. These were the Core Disciples that hurried to master 1 profession and understood another to become Core Disciples, before letting go of their cultivation base and the understood profession to immediately obtain the honor to learn the [Chronicles of Life & Death] Art. They spent their new riches very well.
Before the first generation’s second batch of soldier units made their appearance in the Sect, 2 renowned kids appeared in the Forbloffende Traes Sect. When they became Servants, they were observed by none other than Heian Ciemnosc. It was also a coincidence that they ended up in the same batch of new members.
This wasn’t Heian Ciemnosc’s doing, although he did observe these kids hungrily walk to his Sect to spend their possible last years, months, weeks, or days of their lives. Of course, they weren’t the only ones, but the Forbloffende Traes Sect is no charity center.
Unless they passed the testing grounds, they could rot a few kilometers away from the Sect’s testing grounds or inner territory. A few kindhearted figures tasked the Sect with feeding them, but they knew not to abuse their privileges and requested it once a year. Many starved before the next year.
But these 2 kids didn’t wait there for more than 3 days. After arriving near the Forbloffende Traes Sect, looking at the poor-looking, small Sect with the other impoverished bums mindlessly sitting in the green and brown, they rested, for their travel wasn’t short. Afterwards, they attempted the testing grounds, with a bit of their energy restored and shining, determined eyes.
These 2 kids came from different places. One from the far north, and the other from the far south. One was a boy, the other was a girl. They had the same stubborn light in their eyes before entering the haunted buildings, and they stood with their little backs straight after they took received their Sect medallion and emblem.
When they looked at the Sect Master whose statue they just felt tingles in their non-cultivated bodies’ nonexistent, Linked Dantian and Psychogenic regions, when swearing an oath, they fell silent. That simple.
Heian Ciemnosc looked at them with his hands behind his back, craning his neck downwards to look at their overly tall figures despite their age. Their Race didn’t matter. Almost any kid in their 5’s and 7’s would be really small.
They had pitch-black hair and pale black eyes. The boy was 2 inches shorter than the girl, and 2 years younger as well. They stared at Heian Ciemnosc with fear and amazement, before understanding the situation. Thus, they formed fists with their tiny hands and looked up at the Sect Master, feeling heaved down.
After a few seconds, when blood seeped from their 7 orifices, but they still didn’t move an inch, Heian Ciemnosc grinned from the left corners of his lips before turning around and leaving. He didn’t need to do anything. Those 2 survived up until the center of the Vrida Region and entered his Sect, who would’ve thought?
And he was right. In under a year, the little kids shocked the Vrida Region, and no matter how much the members wanted to keep the news, the little kids went out on missions soon after. Because, in just a year within the Sect, they broke from not starting cultivation to the Phrenic realm. It was as if their bodies had accumulated endless potential within.
It wasn’t that far from the truth, but Heian Ciemnosc kept quiet. Just what his Sect needed, an impulse to obtain the [Chronicles of Life & Death] Art. 3 years after their entry into the Sect, they achieved peak First Step Craftsmaking and Obsidiafying realm cultivation base, becoming the youngest Core Disciples.
They were the most talented members the Set has ever had. They didn’t have any Special Body or shackled Bloodline. If anything, their blood and Race did have something to do, but their nature was indispensable. When they attained the Sect’s Art before the second batch, they sent an uproar everywhere.
Everyone knew the requirements, and after the years of growth commenced, the Sect became aware of its harsh steps to practice it. Even then, no one complained. At first, they thought they could do without it and still belong to the Sect, maybe even show the Sect Master they could become a soldier unit like this.
But after the youngsters showed their worth, this idea disappeared. They watched as, in under a year, they recuperated their cultivation base by half. Not only did they need another half a year to recuperate it completely, but the also broke into the Ashes Apperception realm.
From then on, the fever took over the disciples, and they finally devised a strategy. Even if they could not break into the Spirit Gathering realm or the Obsidiafying realm, they could obtain the [Chronicles of Life & Death] beforehand!
They just needed to achieve the peak First Step in a Craftsmaking profession. However, they rapidly noticed that the necessary information to practice, and the riches to keep it going, were things only the Core Disciples could afford. Furthermore, they wouldn’t lose a regular schedule to also meditate and cultivate, letting them not lose anything.
Even if they took many missions to keep their cultivation and Craftsmaking at bay, Inner Disciples wouldn’t have the necessary knowledge available. Furthermore, no one wanted to miss Pretieta’s nature reading lectures, or their time studying in the military college. Not even the citizens and engineers.
Those two who made this possible, and sooner than expected, were Liliam and Hexitia. They came to the Forbloffende Traes Sect because they could, and they became notorious figures in under a decade because of their capabilities. Although they didn’t break into the Spirit Birth realm next, and didn’t promote to the Acting Elder position, they were looked up like god and goddess.
It’s because of them that the other Core Disciples didn’t dare appeal to the Acting Elder promotion before they did. Meanwhile, they consolidated and researched for when the day finally came. After all, a ‘purple’ clothed, someone from the higher-ups at the very least, must give 3 lectures and make a worth of 10 merit points for the Sect monthly, among other things.
They were always together, inseparable even. However, no one dared to rumor about intimacy or love. Not only did they not see that between them, nobody felt that way when looking at them. It didn’t take a Forbloffende Traes Sect’s genius to know this was nature’s doing.
When they led their first missions as Majors, they brought most of the south under the Sect’s hands, leaving no enemy survivors, nor betraying rats, or those who attempted to fool them. Following the Sect’s teachings, no one was spared from their side. Moreover, their combat capabilities were insanely good.
Their body frames were slender, tall, and humane. Liliam seemed half Elf and Human, with white, tender, creamy skin. On the other hand, Hexitia was of similar color, but hers was whiter and paler than Liliam’s, and she seemed Human only.
When the 30th year of the growing years arrived, they were seated directly below Pretieta and Todoro, who were sat below Heian Ciemnosc, and witnessed the promotion of 33 thousand Core Disciples from auxiliary units to soldier units. Thus, the Sect had 5.666 million members, 193,340 soldier units, and 5.373 million auxiliary units.
The double black danger and the firsts witnessed the Sect’s largest army as of yet. However, Heian Ciemnosc finally verified that after this, the Core Disciples promoting from auxiliary units to soldier units would finally sprout yearly, and not every 15 years.
After all, the previous batches of disciples for each decade had already learned the basics, and they exchanged information with their seniors, who offered enough advice. Being a nature-led organization, the Forbloffende Traes Sect does not prohibit aid between Sect members. But such aid shouldn’t be counterproductive to the receiving person.
It would be like going against the untold code and rules in the Sect.
Either way, a few months passed, and it was soon the 644th year’s 5th month, barely just begun.
… Heian Ciemnosc sat in his central cottage. There was no young girly or grown Core Disciple on his bed anymore. Such things were less and less possible as the Sect developed. Although he still received visits, these were from old ‘bad’ girls who venerated and thanked him… but couldn’t forget the sensation of his body.
Either way, when the Sect promotes loving and talks about life to relieve stacked emotions, such visits were practically nonexistent nowadays and from a certain point. Unless someone wanted his favor or aid, or Heian Ciemnosc actively wanted fun with Sara’s delight, it might not happen.
Heian Ciemnosc opened his darkest eyes, letting the door to his cottage and bedroom open as the dusk showed and illuminated his overly pale skin. However, his eyes consumed it all, not changing in the slightest, as if they were still in the dark.
“Let’s go. I found something interesting.” Heian Ciemnosc said as he stood up in a jiffy and sent his words to Sara in his inner universe. She ignored him, suckling her right thumb as she continued meditating on her Soulish body. Heian Ciemnosc Soul-communicated with Pretieta, as the only Ancestor, and took Evans with him, who was supervising the Fauna services’ areas.
Usually, he slowly overflew the area, checking the little fellas who will fight and die for the Sect, just like its other members. They were still in an infancy stage of growth as another force of the Sect, but Evans and Alejandro became strict when it was time to work. They didn’t even need Heian Ciemnosc’s guidance, they did this on their very own accord.
But today, as night came, the Sect was only becoming more lively in the cultivator and citizen and engineer zones in the inner territory, when Evans strolled within a Fauna services’ area. He suddenly flew away and picked the Sect Master up, to which the disciples and citizens briefly bowed.
… A few minutes later, with Evans sneakily flying at a mid-speed, which was enough to travel a 2* Region in half an hour or so, he descended on an empty plot of land. This place was located south of the southern territory, with tens of thousands of kilometers to the southern territory and to the southern shores.
Flutter, flutter…
Evans landed and yawned as he thought about which dozen wives to nestle his next batch of children with, looking northwards where the Forbloffende Traes Sect was. Heian Ciemnosc ignored the pacified bird brained buddy and walked dozens of meters before stopping. He crouched and traced his right ring finger, finding something beneath the black brown dirt on his fingertip.
It was sand, a brownish type of sand, but one that had a rare, white glow around each grain’s contour. When he put his Spirit Sense into it, it was drawn inwards. Sara and Heian Ciemnosc reacted at once, slightly fearful-shocked to see this happen. “!” - “!”
Sara slightly sat on the bed, still under the blankets, as Heian Ciemnosc jolted his head backwards and looked at the dirt grains, so tiny they could even be considered existing things above atoms. These semi-microscopic dirt grains attracted him as he closed in his face again, probing with his Spirit Sense, confident and solid.
…
