Whole Sect's Territory In Turmoil!
"Sect master Yolin, please excuse me, I am no longer a person who can belong to a group... a group that is capable of any single thing just to become stronger, reputed and of high status across the world." Bearing an apologetic yet stern face, the grand elder spoke. Her heart was calm though, and as she looked at so many different, powerful Obsidiafying realm all ready to pounce up in the air towards her, she plainly continued.
“What are you spouting, grand elder?!” Sect master Yolin was more furious towards her that feeling betrayed, which highlighted on her face as she looked up at her sect’s grand elder. But Li Tong no longer feeling like she still formed part of the Preferential Light Justice Sect, continued without using formalities. “I no longer believe in our power, nor our very own beliefs. In a way, those things are part of all the major organizations.”
“Yolin,” Li Tong continued, her left hand going over to the block of ice, large enough to be around 30 m long and 11 meters in diameter, but not so as to feed it; it was simply a gesture from her part. “Even the recent event that ancestor Kuliac formed part of, the atrocities he committed, and yet you only warned him of his actions when you took power within the sect.”
“The multiple girls who were faking their skin, hair and eye color; how many of them weren’t even allowed a trial, even going as far as to kill, then humiliate on the spot?!” Li Tong became riled up in her own emotions, increasing her volume in the process. “And what about all of those boys whose nature was impeccable?! How many were killed off so that they wouldn’t go to the other major organizations so that there wouldn’t be a vengeance from formidable enemies in the future?”
“What excuses are those?! And who would even treat it as if we were saving the world when it was ourselves who caused it!? Yolin, you are nothing that you should’ve been, the moment you inherited that seat, you didn’t improve the sect and our numbers have even decreased because of your desires!!”
“If you at least tried to make our sect a real place for cultivation and for our members to progress, then possibly expand, would I ever become tired of the same old shit EVERY GODDAMN new sect master that inherits the seat?!!” Li Tong made a slight pause, but it was more like she had to make that pause, her breathing becoming too rough and her eyes fumbling with seething humiliation.
“It was not just you, Yolin, and I don’t blame just you because of it, I even blame myself. But even more so, even more… I blame what our sect had become after so much history, there is a stagnancy, nothing has changed for tens of thousands of years, Yolin!”
“Not even the way we would always cower to ‘the strongest’ and even let the’not so strongest’ enemies do as they pleased on our own territory!” Li Tong separated her left hand from the block of ice, the icy ceiling having become as thick and strong as those at the walls and the floor of the arena. She looked at the much younger little girl than her, before continuing, her words somewhat calmed down, but that was only in appearance.
“Yolin, you were only selected by your looks, the previous sect master even treating you like our next goddess.” Li Tong was ruthless instead, unthinkably, and Yolin’s eyes when looking up were beginning to shake; trembling. Li Tong just continued, her tone getting somber, “Even those who would’ve become your right and left hands as long as you ordered it, you assassinated them with other’s strength…’just in case’... Me forming part of that… Things like that, Yolin, things you did…also broke me.”
Tshiiiin~ … ….Tshin!
Finishing her words, Li Tong’s right hand that was facing the floor from high above began to ‘drop’ a wide and long but thin icy blue crystal zweihander blade. But as they were shocked to see the grand elder- no, Li Tong taking her Mortal zweihander out, they were even more disgustingly shocked as they dumbly turned around and saw how the actual grand ancestor of the Preferential Light justice took her long, really wide icy long sword and its tip became one with the ice of the arena’s floor.
“Grand ancestor, you-” Looking at the slightly lowered head and with her eyes closed, Yolin was struck dumb for several seconds, finally trying to speak reason into the grand ancestor’s ears and her eyes that were slowly opening while her head was slowly raising.
“It’s been a long time for me, too, even as Little Li Tong has lived less than I… She can’t endure the things our…’sect’ has been doing and cooperating with other major organizations to do.” Grand ancestor Pesela said, her eyes looking far ahead to her front, seemingly passing through their bodies, but although she was looking high up and not low like before, she seemed depressed; even if just lightly.
“We’ve remained stagnant for a long time, we treat anyone who isn’t any of the 4 of us in the worst way possible, most of the time. Even as those mortals still keep coming year after year, new face after new face… It was from a young age that I became numb, used to and indifferent to the new faces which I once used to think ‘they will belong to us too, soon’ - but were mostly, all, instead…’sacrificed’ for the face of our sect…”
“Sect master Yolin, you are young, and not that powerful, indeed. Even the previous grand elder had been more talented than you in the past, but she served the previous sect master well, and it was a wonderful time…but only within our sect’s walls. You see, we have so much power, influence and potential coming at our doors…”
The grand ancestor looked up, smallish tears of a transparent icy blue fell down both her eyes, only once; before continuing. “You see, Yolin, it’s as if the good thing about all major organizations, even our sect, is only inside the upper echelons…not daring to ever show nor share that ‘good’ with the rest of the sect, let alone the entire world.”
Slowly lowering her head, her chin appearing so beautiful, grand ancestor Pesela looked into those white irises without any conflict nor strong emotion; just like she portrayed herself, right now… But it somehow gave sect master Yolin the sensation that the grand ancestor wasn’t looking at her with such indifference, but at the grand elder instead.
“The grand elder is someone not even these little idiots around here dare to offend, and much less fight head on. Even though I am always showing off my potent aura, it is just so that Li Tong can be hidden, sect master….” Grand ancestor Pesela’s eyes became wider and somewhat watery, not because of wanting to cry though, it was just her ‘battle stance’; beautiful, impermeable of any type of scrutiny.
“Grand elder is more powerful than I, let this vital information be known to everyone, as from this point on, I am defending my ice walls and floor…until the end of my favor.” Grand ancestor Pesela said, declaring her stance on the matter, life or death may come to her, but as long as she had to fulfill the favor…not even the sect master could stop her from doing so!
“Which means?” Sect master Yolin spoke out, herself having tranquilized somewhat, her words really calm and at ease as well. Grand ancestor Pesela responded, almost right away and almost interrupting her sect master, which Yolin felt. “Until Li Tong dies, I won’t let anyone touch these barriers.”
Said grand ancestor Pesela, somberly and without an ounce of weakness, she was ready to die and kill even if it meant a stupid, unnecessary death!
But then, sect master Yolin’s words were those which grand ancestor Pesela was hoping for the most to not be uttered.
“Then, as long as this traitor dies, this Li Tong is finished; you’ll stop protecting even the ceiling?” Sect master Yolin’s eyes were cold, but for those around her seeing this development, it was the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect’s eyes that shone the brightest and smile that was the largest. Of course it would be a good thing to end the life of one of the few strongest ones in the entire world if the grand ancestor’s words’ claim was truthful.

But, it would be even better if they, all together, killed both of these strongest cultivators in the entire world all at once. The less protection the sect master of the Preferential Light Justice Sect’s sect master had, the better!
“...” Blinking her eyes somewhat slowly, the grand ancestor of the Preferential Light Justice Sect closed her eyes and then opened them with disappointment becoming ‘eternal’ to them. But the sect master of the Preferential Light Justice Sect merely ignored it, turned around and took her own spear out to face the grand- nooo, to face Li Tong up in the air.
“Then die for me, die for your sect master!!” Yolin said, her feet slowly lifted into the air and flew upwards furthermore, while the other Obsidiafying realm 10th stage cultivators also began to fly towards Li Tong. Meanwhile, the sect masters and cult pastor began ordering their respective elders, acting elders and clergy, disciplinary and enforcer elders to also join in the fight, while also sending some more towards the grand ancestor of the Preferential Light Justice Sect, Pesela; to keep her from aiding Li Tong.
“...You are not my sect master,” Li Tong, on the other hand, said back to sect master Yolin. And those very same words from Li Tong were what immediately made sect master Yolin take the vanguard as she thoughtlessly rushed up to meet head on with her ex-grand elder.
PAM!
However, just as the tip of her pike was 3 meter away from the grand elder, the latter just swept her left hand from the right to the left at her waist level, and not only was the Mortal pike thrown to the west of the arena floor, sect master Yolin herself was thrown back against the ground without any politeness, her back making a slight crack on the ice of the floor!
“!” It was only at that point that the other Obsidiafying realm cultivators assessed her prowess, truly showing a strength that none of them had reached yet! Even the grand ancestor of the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect, grand ancestor Xing Kei!
However, being only one against many others at the same stage, how long could Li Tong even really last? Besides, her partner in crime was to be busy dealing with other enemies, even if they were at her level, the grand ancestor of the Preferential Light Justice Sect couldn’t just let those deathly techniques reach her over and over again without a worry nor without fending off against them!
As such, if they wanted to deal the most damage to Li Tong, it had to be at the beginning!
“Send our acting elders and elders to grand ancestor Pesela, tell them not to die for anything.” From the group of the silent and inactive Eagerburning Flames Sect, their sect master Farno spoke to the people around him, including his own grand ancestor Marchelo and grand elder Kenia and ancestor Karen. They were being looked down by the sect masters and cult pastor that were going up.
“Tell them to attract flashy attention, not from grand ancestor Pesela, and to give way to the pathway that grand ancestor Pesela will take. Even help her when no one watches,” but when seeing the look in their eyes, sect master Farno added with his eyes narrowing indifferent, but somewhat coldly as well.
Boom…! KAM! POM PAM! RUMBLE….
Shortly after, severe, serious and scary sounds, booms, shaking and noises from Power Energy meeting other and more Power Energy of a level that most people had never seen in their lives and wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for just this one event; began to happen all in the westernmost stadium in the entire sect’s territory.
***
Within the northernmost section of the sect’s territory, close to the mountain-rock building where Ciemnosc studies along with that Enaro.
Step, step, step, step, step, step!
After rushing over with a smallish motorbike that was not that fast but was at least very silent and could even go between the houses and buildings of any part in the sect’s territory, Ciemnosc was now a couple of minutes away from arriving at the mountain-rock building where he had a lot of things he would like to grab if he could. The only thing he wanted was to nobody be there, he was in dire straits and could not afford wasting even a mere minute!
He could tell, with his Spirit Sense telling him so many times of how dangerous it has been for him all this time, almost meeting a patrolling team, and with all of them having pictures of him that they took whenever they found an adolescent on the streets or in a building.
As of right now, because of how close he was to the mountain-rock building, and because his steps were much less louder, he was hurrying over to the mountain-rock building instead of in a motorbike simply for the fact that there is much more space around and it was the day.
Though Ciemnosc’s body would still be seen in the open if he walked, let alone rushed towards somewhere, with his quirky steps and strange methods of walking on walls as well as using any possible thing to cover his rushing figure, even a single light post here and there; he was barely able to confuse a few patrolling teams at most here and there.
Even as he ran so silently that even an Obsidiafying realm cultivator would only be able of noticing him if they used their Spirit Sense and Ciemnosc somehow brainlessly made his way towards one of them. He was actually using all of his strength to kick the ground and leap impossibly fast and long strides every now and then that not even an Obsidiafying realm would be capable of doing without the use of Power Energy.
…pat- Pat.
‘Finally, here…’ With a face that was urged and seemed anxious, Ciemnosc made one last huge jump, then a few others; all the way until the top of the whole mountain, before jumping down and moving his body in strange forms nonstop. By the time that his body reached the ground, he had somewhat cut off the speed of his free fall, leading to his feet making only a bit of noise around.
With all of the time in the world against him, Ciemnosc walked to the door, his face neutral. He was sweating a little, and his clothes were still somewhat damaged; but these weren’t his sect uniform clothes, those were the ones he made in memory of his Mother as the clothes she did make for him had all been… somewhat… ’absorbed’— ? —by him right when he began cultivating; an unexpected thing with an unknown result that left Ciemnosc baffled back then.
Creak~... whoooosh! PAH! Poooomm~...
As soon as Ciemnosc was close to the building-structure, not even about to open the mountain-rock building’s door, the door itself opened ‘on its own’. And from it, on the other side, appeared elder Apegos on his wheelchair and with a strange tool or even just a device right away on his lap…aiming at the outside, right where Ciemnosc had just then dashed away from!
The tool itself had a circular bowl shape, but its deepest part had a strange illuminated hieroglyph, appearing to be a… an array formation!
While Ciemnosc had already dashed away, the tool shot at elder Apegos’s order, which Ciemnosc understood as he sensed elder Apegos’s Spirit Sense activating the tool on his lap. Then, a ball of a brighter sapphire color shot through the tool’s mouth, its starting speed was ferocious alright, but it became absurdly slow as it traveled hundreds and hundreds of meters away.
All that elder Apegos could see as a large and potent boom sounded in the distance and electric snakes flashed constantly from there was to look between the explosion occurring in the distance and the tool on his lap.
Whoos- grab, pum- thud.
But Ciemnosc had already acted, he saw the surprised, fearful and ultra surprised face on elder Apegos’s face as he lunged his left arm at elder Apegos, grabbing his collar and ‘helping’ him stand up a few inches above his wheelchair’s seat. Then, with his right hand, Ciemnosc struck a very, veery light fist to the left bone cheek of elder Apegos, right below his eye.
Elder Apegos fell backwards, almost losing consciousness from his brain receiving an impossible powerful shock. Now lying with his back on the floor of the ‘small’ study, he struggled to move his head even as he still felt dazed. And as Ciemnosc slowly came to straddle him on the upper chest, he was finally able to speak with the dizziness almost gone.
“How- what ar- when did you notice?” Seeing the troubled, almost gone retard and independent remaining eye, Ciemnosc had a regular and so ordinary expression on his face, he tilted his head to the left, then fully to the right where it felt more comfortable at the moment.
“It’s nothing like a godly detective or something, it’s just a smell…a foulness that you can’t disperse for as much as you try to cover it up with other thoughts. You and everyone else, they all have it and it is a stench I am the most disgusted with! I can’t describe exactly its scent, but I can easily know when to kill you and when to bite back!”
“Noo…! Yu-yo- you monster, you are a monst-” Elder Apegos then felt, with Ciemnosc’s words, as if all his secrets were laid bare for Ciemnosc to know. He reacted, rather strongly but weakly as he was barely able to move. Ciemnosc then interrupted him, not feeling any kind of pity for this teacher of his; or rather, once upon a time a teacher of his. “Tec tec, I did not come here to kill you though, I only wanted a few things, but it felt good killing you as well. Now let’s begin.”
‘Claws Out’ Ciemnosc thought, and right away, many ‘phhshk, phhshk, phhshk’ sounded, with Ciemnosc’s fingers going into elder Apegos’s head, neck, arms, legs and his whole torso, only leaving his remaining eye untouched at the side while he stood back up to walk into the basement. His lower garments now bloodied even more and he was secretly wishing there was no one there to not lose any more time, that explosion from before was too much of a grabbing attention move that alarmed Ciemnosc quite a lot.
Leaving the eye to the side of a not so large amount of fresh, mutilated and stenching meat with blood and barely some bones visible behind, Ciemnosc then began going downstairs.
