The First Battle Array Formation Learning
2 days later, in space.
No Fighters were out, and all evaluation and training had already begun, but it would take time for the non-Fighter Teams to become used to the new norms. It wouldn't be difficult, as the training was only for combat and to follow some tactics to the letter in case a tragedy or insurmountable suffering occurred before or during battle. Heian Ciemnosc was in the central command of his Team's Defensive Frigate, and so were the commanders of each spaceship.
“Alright, now move through the sidelines, rotate a little… that’s right!” Heian Ciemnosc heard a young female voice dictate to him as the Frigate slightly moved in space, inclining leftwards and rightwards while the thrusters up and down. The Frigate barely moved. And in the open space, with only darkness in sight. It was even more challenging to notice.
“Correct!” The voice declared. The team of experts looked at each other, holding their hearts tight. After 5 hours of boring, repetitive, and suddenly impressive actions done by their co-leader, individually piloting the Frigate for the first time, it finally ended!
They instantly remembered the words of their superiors, of how this test would be one-time only, and would decide whether a vice commander or co-leading Team Leader could pilot the Frigate in times of need. To an outsider, it would seem like the Faction was just making excuses to boost their future commanders’ popularity in and out of the Crimsonbreaking Faction. But, to them, a team of piloting experts, this was decisive and strict.
“Well, young black monster, the test results have just arrived! Would you like to know?” Heian Ciemnosc and the team of experts heard the young female voice speak to him without a professional tone and realized it was time for the truth. Heian Ciemnosc nodded, sitting on his side chair and feeling somewhat empty inside. He was a little consumed by all the other actions that pressured him mentally.
“Go ahead, please,” Heian Ciemnosc voiced. The young female voice giggled in a good mood, and they could hear physical documents being moved in her hands before a pause, and then came her voice again. “You’ve passed! Wahaaha, nothing unexpected, aye?”
“It says here you are allowed to pilot your ERT’s Defensive Frigate. But only when it is utmost necessary,” the young female voice paused to breathe before continuing. “Your piloting qualities are moderately good. The superiors have praised you a ton, and you can even individually pilot the spaceship after a battle to bring it elsewhere. Ah! Just a reminder. Don’t irritate your team of experts. They weren’t singlehandedly picked by them for no reason, after all. Hehe!”
“... Understood… thanks, anything else?” Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes twinkled as he looked up. There was a slight pause before the young female lass said, “I’m older and stronger than you, but I just wanted to say: Woah! You’ve made it! Congrats! I’m a big fan. Keep it up!!”
“... … …” The communication was immediately cut off, but the tense silence in the central command module was unmistakable. Heian Ciemnosc chuckled, tsking his lips before standing up. The piloting experts stood up and saluted Heian Ciemnosc. They became adamantly serious out of nowhere and shouted. “Greetings, co-leader, young black monster!!”
“... At ease,” Heian Ciemnosc calmly said under his breath. The piloting experts became cheerful and relaxed, chatting with each other as Heian Ciemnosc nodded at them and turned to leave the module. They were still in space, but, for the first time, Heian Ciemnosc felt like he owned this Defensive Frigate’s leadership. He wanted to walk around it and clear his mindset.
“Hey, did you think about stealing that girlie or something?” Sara suddenly spoke as Heian Ciemnosc felt his body calming down. He mentally chuckled and looked at Sara in his inner being, saying, “Jealous? I just got hungry, nothing else.”
“Bah! Ballshiat!” Sara hopped around his inner being’s endless pure darkness. She aimed at the void, where Heian Ciemnosc was staring at her, and accused him with justice on her side. “I, more than anyone else, know you’re barely affected by that hunger since you broke into the Heaven-Breaking realm! You’re, at best, ‘needy’ of a snack! If it wasn’t for your wives, you would’ve been known as the Faction’s #1 wh- mmmnn!”
Heian Ciemnosc covered her mouth with his dark, shapeless limbs, limiting Sara to grumble as she did bit him no matter how ‘brutal’ Heian Ciemnosc held her. Heian Ciemnosc continued walking through the corridors until he arrived at the gates of the Frigate’s main hangar. Once there, Heian Ciemnosc watched his Fighter Team boasting and drinking to their heart’s content. Only Heian Ciemnosc had to work today, and they could spend time like this, but only once in the 3 months to come.
Heian Ciemnosc left them and walked to his cabin. He was a little hungry, but he wanted to munch on something. Thus, Heian Ciemnosc took a transporting vehicle and drove it towards Milyy. Along the way, the other transporting wheels that passed him or were stationed at the side nodded towards him. Heian Ciemnosc’s influence now existed… After so much social repression, Heian Ciemnosc gained the influence he worked so hard to attain.
Finally, Heian Ciemnosc arrived at his cabin. He opened its door with his Spirit Sense and walked inside to see a little, bare kitty with flowers on her nude torso waiting for him to talk about life. Heian Ciemnosc was there, stupidly standing, paralyzed with the mouth-watering sight of his bed.
“Say, do you just want to eat me… or would you like to eat with me and eat me together?” Milyy said, pulling her claws out and baring her fangs. Immediately, Heian Ciemnosc’s instincts kicked him to move towards his wife. He unclothed himself, dangling what had to be dangled, and slowly placed it atop her slightly opened lips. Milyy let the phallus front further in her mouth and accommodated it dearly while throwing seductive, kittenish glances at its owner and hers.
“Both…” Heian Ciemnosc’s brain was perfectly functional, but he still made Milyy chuckle and narrow her eyes dangerously. She munched the contents inside her mouth playfully. If Milyy didn’t manage her body movements well, she might rip her pleasurable meat off.
“GUUUUULP…” Milyy didn’t give time to Heian Ciemnosc. She faced the ceiling, apart from his adorable darkest eyes, and molested his butt while engulfing his meat completely, letting it suffer her tightening body parts and administrations of feral love.
. . .
The next day, after space training. After getting used to ‘steer the wheel’ that consists of his team of experts. Heian Ciemnosc was specially called to one of the Carrier’s training sections.
Heian Ciemnosc wasn’t the only one. Many team leaders were being sent to this smallish part of the Carrier. With the new regulations, the Crimsonbreaking Faction’s combat capabilities were to improve whether they or anyone else wanted it. It was that crucial and momentous.
However, only Heian Ciemnosc was asked to meet with a few ‘special’ people in a small module within the training section. When Heian Ciemnosc arrived there, he was left speechless. After 2 minutes, he sat before Grietta and Elyor with a long rectangle in between. Grietta wore a spectacular white dress covering her body from her lower neck to her shins. A few transparent patches were designed at her shoulders, wrists, and lower sections of her thighs.
“How have you been?” Grietta smiled and asked Heian Ciemnosc, penetrating Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes with her black, shining ones. Elyor nodded at Heian Ciemnosc, with the latter returning the greeting. What the husband didn’t know, though, was that the wife drove Heian Ciemnosc’s Spirit Sense all around her body. It was the same mildly large, perky round breasts and her ample, meaty, plump bottom.
Heian Ciemnosc sonorously gulped, feeling like this was more than a visit and a pleasant meeting, mainly because of Grietta’s joyous eyes, containing traces of a hunter staring at a prey. Nevertheless, they were his seniors, and Heian Ciemnosc was bound to be polite.
“Miss Grietta, Vice Chairman Elyor, it is nice to meet you.” Heian Ciemnosc turned to look at Grietta and casually said, still polite. “I’m fine, Grietta. And you?”
“Perfect~.” Grietta smiled. She had spent some time with Heian Ciemnosc during his time in the headquarters base, but it was brief and always ended with an early departure on her part. Now that she had this chance, she wasn’t giving it away. She even managed to bring her husband!
“I’m pleased, very~...” Grietta uttered, causing Elyor to blush a little before bringing his palm to his face. After slightly shaking his head, Elyor looked up at Heian Ciemnosc and crossed his left leg over the right one. “Hey, young black monster. You made a lot of noise upon returning. Anyhow. Now that you’re here, are you ready to learn battle array formations?”
“Formation…s?” Heian Ciemnosc jolted his head backwards before leaning over his spot. He looked at the pair with confusion. Grietta smiled joyously and looked at her husband as he did the same to her. They stared at Heian Ciemnosc simultaneously, with Elyor speaking to him again, “One battle array formation will be taught to you. Just as other team leaders will. This battle array formation is the same you’ve seen the Frigate that commanded you before, use.”
“Indeed.” Grietta looked at Heian Ciemnosc with open eyes and this much Heian Ciemnosc could understand from what the superiors have let team leader know. But his suspicion and source of excitement were still left unexplored. Elyor helplessly stretched the corners of his mouth to continue, driving Heian Ciemnosc’s darkest eyes away from Grietta. “You’ve been given authorization to learn another battle array formation for direct combat, not vehicles or spaceships. It’s yours to learn. Would you like to or not?”

“I would, of course!” Heian Ciemnosc nearly stood up in angst. He didn’t want to deny this opportunity. If he mastered battle array formations, Heian Ciemnosc was sure he could advance into Third Step cultivation alchemy products, Sky weaponry, and armor sooner than most others.
“Hehe, I almost feel jealous of not being an object.” Grietta shook her head a little before commenting after seeing Heian Ciemnosc’s antics. He was the same boy from those years ago. Heian Ciemnosc felt too excited and stimulated. Thus, he let his mind run free. Heian Ciemnosc looked down at Grietta since he was hella tall and unceremoniously commented. “What makes you think you aren’t with how much you’ve let me see how everyone can get their hands on you?”
“...” Grietta’s breathing stopped and escaped her lungs. Her chest inflated slowly as if each atom was heavily pulled away from her body and lungs. Her eyes looked at Heian Ciemnosc’s face, unfocused but locked onto his visage. Meanwhile, Grietta’s left hand moved to Elyor’s crotch, which seemed active out of nowhere, and muttered. “Shhh, quiet. It hasn’t even begun. So impatient…”
Heian Ciemnosc: …(゜ロ゜)
Heian Ciemnosc went silent. He couldn’t help but see Grietta’s eyes still locked onto him as she calmed Elyor down, who looked embarrassed but not shy. After patting Elyor’s pants, Grietta washed her hand with Vigor Energy and smiled at Heian Ciemnosc, “Well, when would you like to start? Here are the schedules pre-arranged for you. Choose wisely, alright?”
Heian Ciemnosc looked at the physical document Grietta passed on the table and rapidly selected the one who requested his presence in this training section after every space training. This would double Heian Ciemnosc’s time spent training. From early morning to night, he wouldn’t rest. And when he returns home, he’ll have a feral wife to take care of.
“The battle array formation we’re teaching you is called the Incinerating Bolt battle array formation,” Elyor said, adopting a professional stance and sitting decently in his chair. “It allows vehicles and spaceships to form a battle array formation that helps them share the same speed as the beacon, the receptor. That would be your Defensive Frigate. Although it has more means to defend and can’t compare to an Offensive Frigate, their speed is the same.”
“It also grants the Fighters’ mobility to the receptor, allowing the Defensive Frigate to get rid of some of its disadvantages. This battle array formation also grants the effectors, those would be the Fighters, protection equal to the receptor. It goes well with your Team’s Frigate, and if everything works well, you can even have another spaceship as an effector, too.” Elyor’s words captured Heian Ciemnosc’s attention.
“We have noticed the interest you and the Eternal Return Team have constantly reunited money over the decades. You aren’t the only ones, and Beto was a known visitor in the Frigate-trading sections in the base. Nothing to be alarmed, silly boy.” Grietta interjected, crossing her right leg over her left one.
“Is that it?” Heian Ciemnosc asked, nearly disappointed. Elyor smirked, forming a charming dimple on his left cheek before saying, between slight laughter. “Well, hohoho! Wasn’t that enough? Even Officers would be kowtowing now. Are you not content? Fine. I’ll give you a heads-up on the methodology to learn this battle array formation. Its modifications to work for our Crimsonbreaking Faction and the complicated processes that your Spirit Sense, Spirit Bosom, Linked Body, dark Soul, and dark Neutral Energy must have… Ah, right, also your bodily strength… Damn, you have it all, young one.”
Elyor said as he frowned, praising Heian Ciemnosc while bullshitting with him. Heian Ciemnosc slightly bowed his head to indicate his gratefulness when Grietta bent her back to rest her head on her right hand, whose elbow supported her forearm on her right thigh. She was looking at Heian Ciemnosc with dreamy, starry eyes. She said, “He does, siigh~...”
“Gulp… What is the other battle array formation… Vice chairman?” Heian Ciemnosc asked, driving his darkest eyes away from the hormone factory Grietta. Elyor seemed not to notice as he casually responded, “Ah! That’s the Octotribulation Ink battle array formation. Grietta will teach you that one.”
“It has…” Grietta sat upright, with her front assets gaining a sway that dumbfounded both men. She had no support to keep them in place… Her voice was soft, with hoarse, sudden pitches, and low. But then, her voice returned to normalcy and went, “It’s called like that because it has a little skill that allows you to move anyone connected to it however you wish. In any angle possible, whose speed depends on Neutral Energy and bodily strength. Spirit Sense and Soul are secondary, but if you have a good Spirit Aspect to match it, it’s like a Supreme Art regarding advantages.”
“Sigh, it’s not popular though,” Grietta said, slightly regretful. She leaned backwards, and her breasts swung and bounced to the rhythm of the young men’s heavily beating heart. Her eyes went to the ceiling before landing on Heian Ciemnosc again. “This battle array formation uses all the receptor’s Neutral Energy to keep it up, but with enough training, up to success, it will be as if you’re using no energy from nobody if your Team learns it as well as you do.”
“It is also very demanding to one’s familiarization of Craftsmaking, so make sure your Team knows to place their comprehension at their full capabilities,” Grietta said, surprising Heian Ciemnosc, but he didn’t want to interrupt. Grietta nodded at Heian Ciemnosc’s patience and continued, “Your Spirit Sense and dark Soul will be, however, the most important factors when you succeed in using it.”
“The Octotribulation Ink battle array formation gives your effectors immediate awareness, equal to the receptor’s, yours.” Grietta became serious. She continued leaning on her chair, and her breasts continued looking inviting, hoping and non-secretly begging to be groped and mistreated. “Their energy becomes slightly more penetrative, and their energy attacks through weaponry increase in destruction.”
“It also grants an ever so slight portion of your bodily strength to the effectors… This is why the Octotribulation Ink battle array formation isn’t popular. Only 1 in a billion cultivators develop considerably more bodily strength than an ordinary cultivator, to the point it does inflict a notorious impact against others in the same stage, or 1 or 2 above their cultivation base.” Grietta paused.
“I see…” Heian Ciemnosc mentally nodded, understanding why this battle array formation wasn’t cherished despite being like so. He looked at Grietta and hopingly asked, “Does it consume my bodily strength? Transmit it… or weaken me?”
“Hahahaha,” Grietta laughed uproariously while Vice chairman Elyor grinned but didn’t move even a little bit. After the perky breasts ceased jiggling and sensually moved up and down with her breathing, Grietta joyously smiled from ear to ear and comforted the boy. “If that was the case, it wouldn’t be a battle array formation and would be rated lower than any Supreme Art. No, it does not take anything from you to distribute it to the effectors.”
“All battle array formations take more than the effector and receptor, and its beacon as a whole, Heian Ciemnosc.” Grietta stood up and turned around. A ‘pushuong!!’ noise sounded, and a scent permeated the small module instantly. It was powerful but pleasant and comforting. Yet, Heian Ciemnosc’s ample alchemy experience told him it was filled with complicated natural laws.
“This is a Sunflour flower, a half-plant with more plant qualities than herb,” Grietta turned around as she spoke. In her hands was a strange thing. It had many leaves below, acting like a thick bush-stem to the uni-petal above. It was orange colored but had whitish tones from within and was 2 inches in diameter and 4 in length. Its pistil was black-brown and looked like many bumps less than 1 millimeter in size that did encompass the uni-petal’s diameter.
“Unless it is effectuated with an Art, which everyone must have, battle array formations need of an extra receptor, a natural beacon. However, this does not make you or the flora you use into a pseudo-receptor. No, that would make it a defective array formation.” Grietta said, placing the flower in Heian Ciemnosc’s pale hands. She lovingly caressed them before letting go of them and sitting beside her husband.
“...” Heian Ciemnosc gazed at the Sunflour flower, becoming lost. He hadn’t read more than its usual use as an alchemy ingredient and its appearance. But now that he had it with him, Heian Ciemnosc felt that this flower was much more powerful than anyone so far has given it credit for.
“Go on, study it,” Grietta said, encouraging Heian Ciemnosc to take his time. Heian Ciemnosc nodded, bringing the flower closer to him. It wasn’t longer than half his forearm but seemed marvelous and gigantic from up close. Unlike most flora, this one moved around. When it detected Heian Ciemnosc’s face, its leaves immediately flung backwards, seemingly looking for Grietta.
Yet, before Grietta could grow worried and plan how to comfort Heian Ciemnosc with her body all he wanted because it was her fault, the Sunflour flower stopped and became stiff. Heian Ciemnosc casually looked at the flower blankly, not reacting to its sudden movements. ‘...’
Rush~, rustle~... tap, tap, tap…tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap~!
The flower seemed anxious as it rapidly returned to its natural pose. Immediately after, it moved its leaves and shook its stem a little. The tips of its leaves started poking Heian Ciemnosc’s pale face. Heian Ciemnosc continued doing absolutely nothing, and before the 3 knew it, the flower was on Heian Ciemnosc’s lap and leaning on him as if wanting to grow forever in his care.
“...” - “Woaah…” Elyor was silent. He contemplated as he marveled at the situation. Grietta bent over and looked down at the Sunflour flower, using Heian Ciemnosc’s fingers to know touch, like a baby learning to grab things with its mighty claws.
“You have to give them to nature, so the world consumes it, and with what you’ve learned… they become your indirect ticket to nature’s laws. You know?” Grietta said, knowing Heian Ciemnosc but also experienced with how difficult it is for the receptors to accept the ways of the world after initiating learning a battle array formation with that role.
“Oh, I know, and so she does.” Heian Ciemnosc worded his thoughts. However, they startled Elyor and Grietta… Say what? A she?! Only ‘it’ and ‘these’ were used for flora, and Heian Ciemnosc is no newbie in Craftsmaking. How could he not know that?! Unless…
“Miss Grietta, can I mind you with delivering this little one to Hong Mei? I think the time has come…” Heian Ciemnosc looked up, caressing the Sunflour flower. It shook and trembled under his pale right palm as if thrilled from hearing those words. Grietta and Elyor’s reaction from before told Heian Ciemnosc all he needed to know to understand this Sunflour flower didn’t act as expected.
“I see…” Grietta understood. Elyor’s eyes were lost… He looked at Heian Ciemnosc as if he were seeing his grandfather, a strange occurrence, to say the least. Grietta nodded and grabbed Elyor’s right wrist to say. “My husband will do so in a bit. We should continue.”
“Mn, oh.” Heian Ciemnosc nodded. He created a dark screen with his dark Neutral Energy, where Heian Ciemnosc moved the flower and laid it there as more dark Neutral Energy condensed into smoke above it to form a dark, soft sheet and covered the Sunflour flower. Then, the Sunflour flower seemed to know it had to leave but was somewhat unwilling to depart from Heian Ciemnosc.
It clapped its uni-petal, like a baby trying to say something, sounding ‘pah, poh- puh’ until Elyor stored it in a large box made from incredible wooden materials. Heian Ciemnosc looked at Grietta after Elyor left it in a new, unused Covert Space bag, just for the Sunflour flower, and stood beside the table.
“As for the Octotribulation Ink battle array formation’s ingredient… you have to find it,” Grietta said, her eyes dangerously narrowing and turning watery. “It’s a sucker from a Severedhead octopus…”
Heian Ciemnosc: “!!!”
That was the cue Heian Ciemnosc was waiting for…
…
