Chapter 767 — Subjugating The Northern Territories

Chapter 767 — Subjugating The Northern Territories

Subjugating The Northern Territories

Heian Ciemnosc stood where Ogork's chair once was. However, all that remained from it was a broken table, the chair's debris, and a headless Soul corpse, with dark liquid neutralizing the Soul Race survivability even their civilians could enjoy, placing them high up in the pyramid. What's more, Heian Ciemnosc's left Claw held Ogork's hairless head with his index, middle, and ring finger's dark claws stabbed into Ogork's head from atop. Some Soulish, light blue energy blood dripped down, accompanying the silent atmosphere sweetly.

Drip… drop, drip…

“Sir… black monster!” Xue Yoler couldn’t react accordingly, still incoherently stammering as she held her right arm extended. Her face visibly showed all the shock she could accumulate in a lifetime, and her body trembled for a few seconds before feeling cold and stiffening yet relaxing.

… thud- Bugsh!! Heian Ciemnosc threw the head to the side. It became a slimy explosion with only the Soulish contents a Soul Race member would have, smeared where it fell with a squishy, disgusting sound. Then, he immediately looked up at Xue Yoler with a gaze she never really saw in him, be it through her eyes or from the Universal Conveyance.

Step, step. Heian Ciemnosc walked towards Xue Yoler. His dark claws receded, undarkening his hands to reveal their overly pale skin as he stood before her with his chin slightly up. His calm, serene, and ultimately cold eyes enraptured her mind as she looked up, and her body was no longer stiff or feeling frozen in abrupt coldness.

“This is the time. You choose. Either come with me and stay, at least until I’ve dealt with my things. But that will take ‘a’ time. Or refuse, and your suffering and inner struggle ends here and now.” Heian Ciemnosc’s words were even more hoarse and dragged on than she expected.

Xue Yoler lifted her hands slightly, with her fingers trembling before her face, giving Heian Ciemnosc their back view. Heian Ciemnosc held her wrists with tranquility and said as he closed his face to hers while showing her how easy it was for him to overpower her. Xue Yoler understood this immediately, making his words all the more heavy on her heart, Soul, and brain.

“I can be good to you, but don’t confuse it with it being my duty. It is my desire acting,” Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head to the right and softly said. He returned it to its regular position before adding, “Let me put it this way. I wasn’t so talkative because of responsibility, nor obligations. Just… because… I wanted.”

“…” Xue Yoler’s eyes intensely trembled. But only she knew what was in her mind, and what she was going through with sheer velocity inside her being. Or at least that’s what she thought. She lowered her head after being silent for the longest minute in her life. Afterwards, she lifted her eyes with a doomed calmness, threatening to sob, “I will… follow you.”

Xue Yoler couldn’t help feeling a heartrending pain in her heart, body, and Soul as she betrayed her Dynasty and family’s expectations. However, something new and different, like a refreshing, comfortable scratch from within her throat adamantly thanked her for this decision from the corners of her heart.

“…” Heian Ciemnosc looked at Xue Yoler calmly for what seemed for a long time for her, but it was only 5 seconds. Then, his hands became darkened, and his Claws went Out again. He smelled and felt her primitive instincts spread throughout her body and lightly smiled.

Ruffle, rustle~.

Caressing her head, with his darkened hands’ skin on her hair, before folding her foxy ears backwards without harming her. His palms ended in her ears, seemingly keeping her safe. For a moment, Xue Yoler felt secure and dependable in his grasp. Her hands inevitably went up to his wrists and gently laid on them. His voice vibrated through his body into her ears, a new concept of intimately speaking with her ‘captor’.

“Good. Oh, I’ve already put on a show for the Universal Conveyance. Don’t worry, I closed it after dropping your cousin’s head. I’ll turn it up again, so don’t fear me… too much. Alright?” Heian Ciemnosc’s tone was calm, but he seemed much colder yet consoling now.

“!” Xue Yoler was nearly scared when Heian Ciemnosc lifted his left thumb and planted it on her glabella, letting her feel his hands as if he could grasp her whole head with his darkened hands. Then, Heian Ciemnosc smooched her glabella and quietly asked, “Do you want to see fireworks with me?”

An utmost wonderful sensation spread throughout Xue Yoler’s body when she felt his cold lips on her skin. She almost immediately nodded and said as her eyes became a little comforted, “Yes.”

WHOOOSH… Heian Ciemnosc didn’t say anything else and calmly grabbed her left wrist. Only then did Xue Yoler noticed the huge dark claws extending from his darkened hands. Not before when her cousin was murdered and beheaded, not when she was at his mercy. Only when she held her wrist as if wanting to show her something elsewhere.

Heian Ciemnosc flew towards a wall. Xue Yoler was about to blast a hole in the wall to let them through, when Heian Ciemnosc waved his left dark claw and the wall seemingly decomposed to its raw forms and smoothly deconstructed. Xue Yoler’s eyes shockingly widened. They passed through the enormous hole Heian Ciemnosc made, with seemingly a thought, and stepped into the air. They flew a few kilometers before turning to face the meeting tower.

“…?” Xue Yoler frowned when she saw this. It was quite similar to when Heian Ciemnosc destroyed the central, enormous watchtower of the inhabitants in the south. Just as she wondered if Heian Ciemnosc had planted explosives beforehand from the lack of troops in her Spirit Sense, she saw a dark yet snow white glint in the sky, much above their heads.

Xue Yoler looked up with her eyebrows knitting a little more. There, she saw it. A Peaksky Swan nose-dived as air and wind became isolated. Yet, his Vigor Energy was of a more white color, while ginormous ounces of dark energy surrounded him. This was a view she hadn’t imagined before. It showed her the way the dark and snow combined, and did well together.

WHIIIIIISTLEEEEEEEEEEEE~~~…! FWUOMP- PAAAAHH- CRAAAAAASSSHHHH~~!

Jing Evan’s near-Planet Gate realm cultivation base was showcased strongly, presented before Xue Yoler’s eyes, as his body was accompanied by Heian Ciemnosc’s dark Vigor Energy. That much was enough to unfold the scene before her eyes.

Evans’s figure nose-dived into the meeting tower’s top, where they were standing just a few minutes ago, and Xue Yoler and her cousin were just waiting for Heian Ciemnosc. Evans’s body disappeared immediately, still tiny compared to the tower’s diameter and height. Yet, in the next 3 seconds, a third of its structure from the top was turned into broken debris like a brick smashed to the ground with enough force to pulverize it.

“!…” In the following seconds, Xue Yoler’s eyes widened at the sight of the whole tower breaking apart and turning half into dust that spread throughout the air. This was the first time she saw a Bight/Silhouette realm Fauna create so much damage without being a species focused on destruction or offensive capabilities.

Purely relying on his speed and Heian Ciemnosc’s dark Vigor Energy, Evans destroyed the tower, with his body disappearing for half a minute. When he reappeared in Xue Yoler’s eyesight, he was shaking his head before fluttering his wings to fly towards them. His ‘slow’ speed was so brutish that he would arrive before them in 5 seconds.

“Well, I assume you’ve been alerted of the war broken out in the northwest. If you want to, come with me to the east. You can give your people a chance for survival.” Heian Ciemnosc elaborated as he looked at the southern sky, then at her face. Xue Yoler looked at him and lowly muttered, like a mosquito, “It might be impossible for you to convince… my people.”

“We’ll see, won’t we?” Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head to the left before gesturing towards Evans, who halted in midair and looked at Xue Yoler with stern, sharp fierceness. She acquiesced and slowly floated onto Evans’s back. Heian Ciemnosc followed suit and landed before his neck, dragging Xue Yoler with his Vocón Link, bringing her close to her back.

They spoke no further. Evans flew to the northwest from the Mountain Pass, not caring about the mountain range’s height as he directly elevated his body before exiting it, disappearing from most sights and nearing space. Meanwhile, Xue Yoler opened her Universal Conveyance after some hesitation. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t react to it. As long as she didn’t use her emblem or medallion, which she was clever enough not to try him.

“…” In her Universal Conveyance, Xue Yoler saw the images Heian Ciemnosc just uploaded to the universal net, under the disguise of lifting the shackles of being ‘imprisoned’ in one’s own ‘home’. First, it was Ogork’s death, which was from Heian Ciemnosc’s first person view.

Xue Yoler saw how Heian Ciemnosc looked at them before everything went dark. In the comments box, she saw many recognizing it as the ‘dark dome’ which has always taken his enemies by surprise unless they had already experienced it. Xue Yoler could confirm their boasting words, as she couldn’t imagine herself knowing how to deal with it when she first experienced it.

But if Xue Yoler were to experience it again, she’d know how to counter it by pulling herself together. She even had the sensation this was how one grew closer to using ‘their nature’ with their will. But the notion was too alien, so she dropped it and continued watching.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

Xue Yoler observed the recording demonstrate Heian Ciemnosc’s actions as his right claw held Ogork’s neck, and his left claw penetrated above it, cutting it off the rest of his body. Then, he stabbed the head in the air just as it was traveling to the ground with incessant spinning. Afterwards, the darkness receded, and Xue Yoler’s attempt to stop him were showcased before the transmission was sent into an interlude.

Next, Heian Ciemnosc showed how he pulled her out of the tower and made smiling sounds while Xue Yoler’s sobbing, restrained moans sounded from the right side. However, Xue Yoler frowned when she saw and heard this, as none of that had happened. She looked at the back of Heian Ciemnosc’s head and fell pensive before returning her eyes to her Universal Conveyance.

The tower flashed with a rapid white and dark glow before it began to ‘dismantle itself’ and turn half its structure into dust. Before long, Heian Ciemnosc turned to her and seemed scary as Evans rushed towards them, drawing adrenaline even in her, who experienced it personally, let alone the other viewers.

… They traveled for 10 minutes with Evans using his maximum speed before arriving at the northeastern, Dynasty’s territory. Xue Yoler’s eyes couldn’t help but see this land differently. She was now a traitor, and these people who had lived in peace were about to meet a terrible change. Unconsciously, she leaned on Heian Ciemnosc’s back, showing a frailness and need for comfort she never showed, not even before her acclaimed ancestor.

An hour later, Evans flew them to the north, and a little to the east. This was where the Medium City was located. The territory had 4 forts, and a few Small Cities, with towns and cities around the latter. It was different from how the Est Soul Empire territory’s infrastructure was planned. However, from the 3 territories, in the past, the F-S W-H Dynasty has always been the safest.

Those forts belonged to the organizations playing an important role in the territory, but were now helpless to look up, as their representative was in the black monster’s hands.

Finally, Evans stopped in midair above the Medium City, at its southern gates. Heian Ciemnosc stepped out of Evans’s back, but not before softly flinging his right arm backwards. Then, he came into view for several hundred million soldier units with their necks nearly folding, looking at the sky to see Heian Ciemnosc… holding their representative’s neck!

The Medium City, as a whole, rapidly fell into hushed turmoil like a wave, from one side to the other. It worked both ways, from the left to the right and from below to up. The entire City was submerged in despair and heartache as they saw their helpless representative, not even bothering to struggle in his grasp.

“Tell them, or I won’t be thoughtful when my navy arrives near these coasts.” Heian Ciemnosc turned her face to Xue Yoler and cruelly threatened her. Xue Yoler slowly lifted her hands to his dark claw. She seemed to suffer as she folded her arms and was too pained to speak at first, before seemingly finding enough air traveling into her body to do so.

“You are all… free to choose your next option… But… if any of you wish to live rather than to serve… I allow you to… surrender. Save your lives and try looking for a better master than me… next time. I am incapable…” Xue Yoler mustered enough courage to speak such betraying words she never dared to think she’d have to say.

Pshift… However, before her words could achieve whatever reaction the crowd, and her army, would have had. A goldish glow from the Medium City’s center echoed before turning into a dashing beam shot diagonally from the city office’s building to the sky, several hundred meters before Heian Ciemnosc, with Evans still behind him.

“Nonsense!!” A bald man with white foxy ears and tail, brown skin, and an old countenance shouted. His shout was supported by… Godly Energy… It seemed to sober the people below him, who were amidst deciding their own fates. They looked up. Hope filled their eyes as they saw the old man appear and point his wrinkled right hand at Heian Ciemnosc.

“You evil scum, vermin!” The old man said, speaking as he stared at Xue Yoler, who seemed hopeless. Heian Ciemnosc looked at the Godly cultivator and narrowed his eyes to half. Xue Yoler didn’t dare send any Spirit Sense or Soul messages to Heian Ciemnosc, much less speak to him, but he knew what she wanted to say.

Heian Ciemnosc slightly grinned, bringing Xue Yoler behind him as he held her with his 2 meters dark tail, and spread his arms to the side before speaking to the old man. “It is but a Godly cultivator in an Upper Kingdom. Well? This is a little weird. Since when are you here? And… what are you planning? Surely not attacking me, right?”

“Release Miss Yoler and go back to your turf!” The old man raged on, staring at Xue Yoler one last time with trembling eyes, before staring at Heian Ciemnosc. His face exuded murdering aura, and his aura increased to its maximum. Of course, he hoped not to use it. “You’ll be judged by your own Existential Sixth Step organization for your crimes!”

“She’s mine now, unfortunately for you. And if you don’t do as I said, she’ll die before everyone’s eyes… Just like that disappointment of a Soul Race member.” Heian Ciemnosc tilted his head low and a little to the left while saying those words.

“This is your last warning, vermin.” The old man seemed to seethe. His Godly aura reverberated everywhere, making the Medium City feel vibrations. His mere aura caused this much commotion in an Upper Kingdom. Then, he looked at Heian Ciemnosc like a coiled snake about to open its jaws. “Piss off or leave your corpse forever. I’m sure the Heraxle Clan could form better relations with my Dynasty if we both deliver your corpse to the Est Soul Empire.”

“Oh. I won’t… Neither of those things,” Heian Ciemnosc calmly said. His arms were still spread, and his dark claws were more intensely notorious now more than before. The old man looked at Heian Ciemnosc for a few seconds… before a flash of golden energy flew forwards from his back, arching over his body, shooting towards Heian Ciemnosc along his body.

PSHIIIIIIIFFFFTTT!! SWIIIISHH!!! PSHIFT- KACHAAAAA~~~!!!

Contrary to the old man’s expectations, Heian Ciemnosc didn’t cower or move away. Instead, Heian Ciemnosc remained with his arms spread, although he lifted his right knee a little. However, the old man had made his decision. Thus, he continued forwards, intending to destroy Heian Ciemnosc.

“!” However, Heian Ciemnosc’s face lowered, and just as it did that, a bout of dark Vigor Energy spread to his sides, like wings. Immediately after, dark lightning bolts struck from above the spread dark energy to below, and were attracted to the middle, whereas Heian Ciemnosc’s right knee became glued to his chest.

A 10-inch thick, several hundred meters long dark lightning strike suddenly zapped between Heian Ciemnosc and the old man. The latter was just a few tens of meters away, becoming astonished towards Heian Ciemnosc’s reaction. Heian Ciemnosc could actually read through his speed? He was a Godly cultivator!

PAAAH! FWUOOOOOSHHH- SWOOOSHH- WHIIISTLEEEE- CRRRAAFGGGHHHKKKFFF~~!!!

The old man was astounded, too shocked to respond. Thus, Heian Ciemnosc’s right foot kicked, receiving no blocking or a dodge from the old man. The latter felt his chest sinking with the electrifying sensation of the dark lightning running rampant in his chest, followed by 300,000 kg of bodily strength that turned his eyes into popping balloons before flying backwards into the ground.

The speed was enough to penetrate several kilometers underneath, let alone with the power Heian Ciemnosc kicked the old man down. Behind him, Xue Yoler’s eyes widened into impossible shock and ample disbelief. The people in the Medium City were no different, but only she was thumpingly aware what something just like this meant.

‘It’s… over… With this, how could a behemoth like the Heraxle Clan dare give Heian Ciemnosc away? He… he can do whatever he wishes from hereon!’ Xue Yoler crazily accepted as tears flowed down her eyes, still hurting for her Dynasty’s losses.

However, as the old man flew downwards, hurting like he had never felt before, not even from late Godly beings, Heian Ciemnosc didn’t just watch. His spread out arms folded. When it happened, dark flames combusted from his extended dark Vigor Energy. They formed powerful tongues a few hundred meters in diameter, rushing downwards around the old man’s landing zone.

It was rapidly followed by dark water spurting from the same extended dark Vigor Energy, storming outwards before diving in the same direction as the dark flames. Before long, the air 30,000 kilometers around Heian Ciemnosc seemed to shift from its peaceful nature.

Dark wind blades were created everywhere, as if they were hiding, but Xue Yoler’s cultivation base could detect these were brand-newly formed. Huge blasts of dark wind and dark wind blades followed the dark fire and water like a cascade, tearing the space apart and exposing 1 millimeter big black butterflies wherever they passed.

Lastly, the earth before the Medium City’s southern gates and within it crumbled and morphed, becoming softer before rushing towards the area the old man would fall. They glowed a potent warm, light lime color, but they turned completely dark immediately after they started moving.

The world seemed to darken as clouds appeared nearly everywhere above the northeastern territory. Muffled lightning bolts sounded from time to time, but all eyes were focused on the sky as a Godly cultivator was pushed down by a… Universal realm 1st stage cultivator?!

Heian Ciemnosc’s cultivation base was apparent and exposed at last. Xue Yoler’s eyes were stiffened when looking at Heian Ciemnosc’s back. She knew well what cultivation base Heian Ciemnosc had when he first arrived here, just a measly Silhouette realm cultivator. Yet, 10 years later, he became a Universal realm cultivator… What the fuck?

“OWAAAAAAAH!” The old man shouted as 4 Elemental attacks synergized and drove the old man to a tortuous scene where he couldn’t escape no matter how he tried. The ground had already been broken apart and penetrated by his back, but dark flames, water, wind, and earth suddenly swarmed towards him!

When he sent Godly Energy towards the dark flames, dark dirt, boulders, and sand intercepted it, joining the flames as they became magma before rushing towards the old man. His body wouldn’t just melt because of this, but his skin was erased, and bones and flesh became rapidly exposed as he was hugged by the magma.

The wind cut through his defenses and inner Godly armor, no longer crystallized. However, it was too much wind that his defenses were overly overwhelmed, leaving him breathless as blood spurted around everywhere. Dark water tried entering his body, consuming flesh and bones as much as possible before exploding to the old man’s Godly Energy and dissipating. Also turning into ice and hurting the old man more as he struggled to even just breathe.

PSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFTTTTTT~~~!!!!!!

“RGUUUAAAAAAHHH~~!!” The old man roared before exploding everything in a 500 km radius. Xue Yoler’s eyes emptied as she looked at the mass of citizens and civilians suffering under this reckless move. But the Godly cultivator didn’t care.

He soared into the air after slightly freeing himself from the assailing dark Elements, appearing before Heian Ciemnosc and Xue Yoler as the 4 dark Elemental moves still chased after him with arching motions in midair.

“You!” The old man shouted and stopped, helpless to find words. He decisively shook his head, nearly breaking his neck, and demanded. “Even if you are this powerful… you cannot fight in a Kingdom! You could put in dang-”

“Like I ever gave a fuck,” Heian Ciemnosc calmly voiced as he opened his darkest eyes fully and dashed towards the old man. The latter wanted to respond, and to also keep shouting, but at that moment…

… … … … Bowwbooumb!!…
