Go Off Greatly
It was now close to the first lights of every morning, and this morning, despite there being all but darkness up in the heavens, deep down below them where a certain place of the world and the most powerful Region ever since history was even made - fire illuminated the lands as the water went towards all possible sides from the very center of what was an encampment.
And within such an encampment illuminating quite a bit in the dark, several streaks of blood that even simulated that there used to be a lot of corpses, now there were not that many corpses lying around as some were… dealt with. While the rest are from those not even in the Phrenic realm. In short, everyone within and above the Phrenic realm had disappeared, not even leaving corpses. While the ‘weaklings’ had their corpses lying about here and there.
Their cause of deaths were all horrifying to easily see and understand with the naked eye and with even the simplest of minds. Most of the bodies were mauled, with their perpetrator not caring about their sex, lots of them got their chest, back, and crotches either cut through or made a mess out of. Not for any purpose, it seemed, but simply to make a whole mess of their bodies.
Where in the world was death ever caring about how one died? It all was good as long as anyone, anything, died.
And in front of what could be called the entrance of such an encampment, Ciemnosc was walking while accommodating his new long-sleeved shirt, his right hand on his left wrist, and walking ahead with a clean body and clean clothes. He just had a bit of a fleshy scent coming from his mouth as he munched slightly a few more times with his lips closed, gulped down, and then looked far ahead, at the sk,y, and finally back at the huge illuminating ‘torch’ behind him.
“...” After giving it a few more looks, Ciemnosc turned around and took out his commanding vehicle, entered it and began driving off towards the Little Lake. The Preferential Light Justice Sect’s encampment was the closest one to the Little Lake from its shallowest waters and from where it seemed to ‘begin’.
On the other hand, the Moribund Yearning Cult’s encampment, which was farthest to the south was the farthest away from the beginning of the Little Lake. As well as from where it was possible to somewhat see part of the deep section of the Little Lake. And so, Ciemnosc silently thought while making his way forth towards his outpost. ‘Some hours have gone by. They should be there already.’
As such, Ciemnosc continued driving forwards while contemplating his next steps. Everything was more or less prepared. Ever since the banquet after the first grand event he witnessed so far, things were naturally not… nice enough for him to feel at ease. And after receiving so many words of advice from others, he wasn’t blindly moving around completely at the very least.
. . .
In a place only a few kilometers short of 950 km away from the central outpost. Ciemnosc was still driving in his commanding vehicle when he began to slow down and move towards a slope which had in front another slope, all full of snow but the middle deep down mini icy river.
Trckrr, trckrr, trckrr… trckrr trckrr.
The commanding vehicle came to park right before this ravine-like wannabe pair of slopes that used to have a little body of water that was so thin it could only be called a river if it poured rain like hell on the world. Now though, even with the snow all around, if one was to melt it all away and drop it onto the mini river, it would all just turn into a huge block of ice that spanned over tens of kilometers before meeting a little rump of the earth and just ending there.
But now, as Ciemnosc parked and came out of his large armored vehicle, snow fell a little in the middle as he stored his commanding vehicle. Then, without needing to look for anybody, he began to go down the slope. They were now all in the western section of the Region, where the lands were a bit wetter even if some places could still get a sudden drought and fall short of liveliness either by flora, fauna, or both at the same time, and the climate itself added to that.
Plop.
“Ah, a cute little girl has appeared. Should I abduct her?” Suddenly, Ciemnosc saw the cutest blonde little girl’s face popping out from the snow that poured down on the mini icy river. She was looking up at him cutely, with a bulge behind her slowly standing up from being seated in a slow and… annoyed manner. But when hearing his words, the little girl put on an ‘OH GAWD’ face before beautifully smiling in a silly manner; melting off Ciemnosc’s heavier heart.
Fwumpp-pp~.
From behind the little girl, she cutely helped herself up by supporting her hands on the snow itself, as she seemed to be so light that not even softened snow could make her body fall down; an ugly yet handsome enough Kinski came up and revealed his strange clothes along with Katherine while looking around them before urging Ciemnosc with his eyes.
“Let’s go then,” Ciemnosc said, after nodding to him and patting the little girl’s head at her top, making her look up as if she was expecting to see a giant in the sky with her cute big eyes and her face all too neutral. All in all, she looked like she found out how to be even cuter, and Ciemnosc could only pray for Kinski’s heart to not crumble by such sweetness.
Fuwomp, fuwomp, fuwomp.
Slowly, the 3 of them began making their way up the slope on the western side, the snow being futile in order to resist Kinski and Ciemnosc’s footsteps, while Katherine’s were easily landing on the snow without a problem. She embraced herself up with her rosy scars with simple and big dark pink circular patterns here and there, a hat that was bound to make her sweat even in the snow covering over half her forehead, and her chin shrunk to her sweater below.
She looked so damn cute… And after giving the pleasure to one’s eyes a glance, Ciemnosc looked at Kinski, who looked at him with deathly eyes. Such pleasure to his eyes should only be to his eyes after all!
Nevertheless, Ciemnosc spoke classically without much emotion to Kinski, asking him at a low volume. “How come you decided to come in the end?”
“I… have been asked too many things, and the people they sent were an obvious reminder for me of who I serve. It is not a good moment to be asked many questions - I guessed. So now,” Kinski said as he this was just normal. But arriving at this point in his words, he looked back at his sweet Katherine, who looked back and waved her hand at him upon noticing his glare while she was breathing in and out cold air, also giving her a ‘deathly’ smile of her own. “I’m just gonna make sure she gets what she deserves, and you now look much stronger than me.”
“I’m… not really the best to place the life of someone you love in the hands of.” Ciemnosc frowned and said, shaking his head as he looked at Kinski for he was looking at an idiot, and not ‘as if’. Kinski looked back, and with a calm, understanding face of sorts, he said back. “No one is but me, but if I die-”
“And she is suffering from a cold. Why don’t you carry her yourself?” Ciemnosc interrupted, looking ahead and walking with the same pace. But his feet were diving a bit deeper now, which Kinski’s overly surprised eyes noticed but hid very well. He responded after giving her another glare, a probationary one, which she lifted and folded her lips with her upper lip against her nostrils.
“She has to learn, for in the future, I can’t just do everything for her. And even if I wanted to and she wanted to as well, I can’t let her become used to having everything and situations she finds solved by others.” He said, his extremely cloud-black eyes looking ahead while the morning lights of the world shone on the back of his head.
“Oh, wifey material,” Ciemnosc commented, picking up some snow and throwing it backwards, landing on Katherine’s face and leaving her with a scrunched-up face. He didn’t even have to bend as his legs were almost in the snow with every step he took, even looking much shorter than Kinski and only a head taller than the little girl.
“Ptui! Disgusting, I prefer my Elder Brother’s snowball thrown at my face. Yours is too smelly, bloody; ptui!” The cute mofaka said, throwing Ciemnosc deathly tongues that made ‘both’ young men chuckle it out. While Kinski was already not capable of holding his chuckles with Ciemnosc’s comment and just letting it out.
“Ah, you can laugh,” Ciemnosc commented as he was about to throw another snowball backwards with his right hand, sneakily and still not needing to bend his back. But the little girl noticed this time, and she growled at the enemy!
“Of course, he laughs. She laughs a lot with me, only me, hmph!” The little girl said, not forgetting to growl and show a fierce cuteness no living being could ever resist. “Grwulwuwlrulwrulwurrrgh~.”
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
“Hm hm, well then, if you don’t mind driving later. I am having a strong headache an-”
Whiiistle~...
“!!” Ciemnosc’s eyes widened, his pupils shrunk savagely, and he instantly stepped forth while his right hand let that snowball go already and grabbed at Katherine’s collar right away. Then, with his left hand, he grabbed Kinski’s nape and in the next second, he stepped forth with his left hand - but failed to dash forth with all his strength at once due to the insanely severe situation and pose he had; so, he had to step with his right leg to impulse his body forth instead.
Whoooosh~, whoosh- whooosh.
Ciemnosc’s body dashed forwards, crossing more than 16 meters at once with his first one, only for his second step that was after his right foot’s step made them not only advance further than that but also jump into the air for a couple tens of meters. And just as he was moving his Spirit Sense with pain over his whole mind to take out the Cloudless Eagle, which wasn’t fully healed but was needed now. He looked back.
“! ! !” Ciemnosc only had time to see that Katherine was looking at him worriedly after returning it from looking back. And all the way to their backs was an Obsidiafying realm cultivator at the 1st stage just charging up ahead towards them with hundreds more of pelicans behind him. And then, her little left palm connected to his back, and from there… to his heart.
Ciemnosc didn’t even have time before he felt the unspeakable. And suddenly, his vision changed, as in the next seconds and with all their momentum gone, his Spirit Sense was still close to him and not changed in any strange way; but he and Katherine… had changed places… somehow… teleportation?!
But that didn’t matter. Ciemnosc had already calculated it all. He had even gotten the Cloudless Eagle to wake up and prepare its wings and prepare to quickly fly in maneuvers, as no Cloudless Eagle was faster than itself as long as there weren’t more than 1 such Cloudless Eagle or similar flying mounts to form that Rychly Transporting Formation Array, than the Cloudless Eagle which was now with him.
However, with his calculations having been stopped, and with the sounds of the incoming Obsidiafying realm cultivator coming closer to an insufferable speed, one that Ciemnosc could never dream of having on his own - he took too much time turning his head around, merely a few decimals more than 2 seconds; and he changed too late from taking Jing Zhu’s Cloudless Eagle to a Mortal sword - that when he was still turning his head around, blood already began trickling down his face from the body of another.
Whiiistle! PHHSHK…! Whoshum whosum, thud thud thud thud!
Barely hearing the other Cloudless Eagle and then the sound of something entering a fleshy body, Ciemnosc managed to look at the lights of the morning shining on the cute pink and white sweater’s back being adorned with a terrible large claymore sword, blood splashed all on Ciemnosc’s body as if a magnet towards him. While Kinski had just turned his head and was looking at Katherine’s face, which was pale and shocked… shocked and afraid.
They then fell… … … And without waiting for any other moment, Ciemnosc whose heart was pounding, looked at the Obsidiafying realm cultivator with brown robes who looked with delight at the blood of his claymore which he even dragged out of the little body amidst the flight. But with the momentum of his speed and all of the space changing around the 4 of them - lost control and ended up falling shamefully on the snow with the other 3 flies.
The cultivator brought his claymore up to his face, and with excitement to taste a little girl’s young, virgin blood, he was suddenly stiffened to a halt by someone else that wasn’t even close by less than 20 meters.
“How dare you?!?!” Ciemnosc immediately Claws Out, his claws projecting from his nails and his fangs showing directly. While his feet broke apart from each toe, and even on his heel, his body and head were intensely trembling! And his eyes, which were accompanied by his face to become demonically infuriated - sent the Obsidiafying realm cultivator into a frenzy of pure fear.
STOMP! Swiiish-...
Ciemnosc instantly jumped with both his claw-like nails destroying almost a whole half a meter worth of snow and ground below his feet, reaching the Moribund Yearning Cult’s enforcer elder in just a second despite a couple of tens of meters away from each other.
PHHSHK PHHSHK PHHSHK PHHSHK CRREESHHK CRREESHHK CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR CKRSHEERR…!
“Grwaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgghhh~!!” With fury all in his eyes, all over his body and heart, his mind clouded by rage and uncaring of the other 2 see his true side. Ciemnosc not only kept that enforcer elder from licking away at Katherine’s blood, he even began making chunks of every little piece of his body that was made out of flesh, bone, and organ; whatever he saw - whatever got sliced and turned into smithereens!!!
He didn’t stop there, beginning to eat and eat and chew and chew at the corpse, which wasn’t even human any longer after just 3 seconds of Ciemnosc’s Claws Out of his hands, feet, and heels just making everything worse and worse image!
“HUFF! Huff, huff huff, huff… hawurggh, huff, ha- huff…” After a little bit of time, with the hundreds of pelicans still coming at him and with the sight of tens of thousands to even possibly hundreds of thousands of lower cultivation base cultivators all rushing towards them below on foot.
“?!” Ciemnosc turned around, his darkest pool pair of eyes looking back at the young man and the lifeless little girl's corpse. He shakily made his steps towards them, his Claws Out still, and he didn’t even bother to hide any of the flesh and organs around his mouth, neck, shoulders, and hands. Ciemnosc walked up to Katherine’s body lying coldly and lifeless, her eyes closed with some stains of her own blood rubbed on her face to close her eyes.
Kinski was standing up now, no longer holding her little frail body in his arms. But without saying anything to each other for… this… Ciemnosc kneeled before the little girl, his smelly, stinky left hand with the scent of blood more obvious now than ever - caressed her right cheek, his left thumb scratching slightly at her nose and cheek way below her eyes. She really, really looked pale… now.
Ciemnosc’s eyes were darkest, as always, but while they were fully opened, they seemed to turn into water… somehow.
Grab!
With pain in his everywhere, Kinski grabbed Ciemnosc’s left shoulder with his right hand, pushing him up like this, but it was Ciemnosc who propped himself up, or Kinski might’ve just broken his whole right shoulder and arm trying to lift him up.
“Go, Ciemnosc, just go…” Kinski chokingly spoke. There were no tears streaming down his face unlike on Ciemnosc’s face, which some thin streams of such were neutrally making their way down his nose and cheeks.
Push, step- tep tap step.
Kinski breathed heavily. He came to stand in front of Katherine’s feet after having pushed Ciemnosc forwards in the same direction that Katherine’s head was in; towards the west.
Stumbling for just a couple of steps, Ciemnosc remained on his spot, while Kinski had turned around and seemed to wait for the entourage chasing them to come, he… wasn’t going to go with him and he also didn’t ask Ciemnosc to take care of her body.
All Ciemnosc could do was to look back, wah- it was all so sudden… Yet, as he looked at the now fragile back Kinski, his head turning back while the rest of his body remained still, Ciemnosc’s eyes traveled down to look at Katherine’s really paler, lifelessness with her eyes closed.
…flutter flutter, rustle~~~~. Whistle, grab!
“Their self-destruction won’t be enough without this.” Ciemnosc’s tasteless, softest of words came into the only living person between the 3, and just as Kinski turned around, he instinctively made a strong grip and protected his heart with his right hand. He suddenly felt an incredibly powerful handle in his right hand, holding it in a reverse grip. And then he looked at Ciemnosc’s commanding vehicle already silently parting away to the west.
Whoosh~~, step, step, step, grab!
“...” Kinski looked down at the hilt, then at the blade, before simply tossing it in the air for about 3 meters up and with a curve immediately forming to dive onto the ground. But right as it was halfway back onto the ground 3 larger, blue-green corpses moved to the front, and the 1st corpse grabbed the sword; before eating it down his throat without any emotion.
Kinski looked down. His right hand went over to his Covert Space bag, a large stick-totem was now held by it. While his left hand did the same, yet it only took materials after materials, all of a blackish, viscous, and foul smelling image.
Whoosh… whoosh… whoosh…
Then, the hundreds of pelicans were coming closer and closer. As they did, his left hand finished smearing all those materials to his stick-totem. And once again, while his left hand was full of every bit of those materials, he took a tiny book out, before beginning to murmur under his breath as dark liquid came out from his pupils as if he was a fountain statue.
When he closed his eyes after finishing his murmuring, it was also the same moment that the pelicans were about to pass over him.
“Those two, take them! The criminal seems to care about them. Send a small team to grab them!!” - “One is dead, just give it to the others, those crazy believers, ha! Surely they’ll have fun doing…”
The dozens and dozens of first pelicans passing over him and Katherine and the 3 corpses made endless shadows with light coming in smaller, really smallish but an infinitude of gaps of the first lights of every morning. And this morning was exceptionally bright, just not bright enough.
‘Die…’ Kinski muttered in his mind…
PLOP, TONK, CANK, PLOP PLOP.
Suddenly, from the right on Kinski’s back, dozens and dozens of pelicans and their cultivators began colliding against a barrier, one that was brown and dark but mostly transparent with fumes of such colors. They were all suddenly falling and, as they began to stop and try to detour while others directly moved towards him and his sweet Katherine, the others coming at them on foot were… were close enough; did Kinski evaluate.
Just as the other pelicans were turning around to detour and lower and lower cultivation base cultivators arrived at the scene, just his 3 corpses were rapidly being made quick work of by the clergy elders and disciplinary elders as well as acting elders, just as one of those corpses were being ripped apart and his body beginning to be drawn holes into.
“There, he is the cause! Agh, just kill him already! What are you waiting for?” - “Get rid of it!” - “We gotta hurry and capture Ciemnosc. Only he is all worthy!!”
… Just then, his left hand flashed with a light of the first lights of every morning shining on it, a smallish stone appeared on his left palm, which had a powerful connection with himself.
Trckrr trckrr trckrr trckrr trckrr trckrr trckrr trckrr…
… Ciemnosc was in his commanding vehicle when he felt something, and it was then at last that the skies were about to beautifully brighten. Now… now he only had 8 Mortal swords left. But still hundreds of other top notch blades and swords… now he was all alone.
…
