Chapter 494 — The New Big Shot Is To Be Feared!

The New Big Shot Is To Be Feared!

Heian Ciemnosc maneuvered his Ornament, rotating a dozen times right before suddenly stopping and smoothly landing with its underside facing the sky and its upper side opening its cabin to reveal a pale young man wearing a dark gray uniform with the Wrath Nihility Academy emblem on his sternum, with a black jacket on top whose shoulder emblems weren't visible without Spirit Sense, wearing a dark coat. Heian Ciemnosc came off his piloting cabin like a monkey dropping from a tree's thick branch towards the ground.

His dark coat fluttered disorderly, but that only worked to give him fashionable points. The disciples in the Sect weren’t notified of this sudden news, but without their superiors’ orders, they wouldn’t enter into a battle stance as soon as an unknown person intruded on their individual territory. Ally or foe, it would be up to their higher-ups or upper echelons to decide what to do. Meanwhile, Heian Ciemnosc landed on the ground, and his fashionable, elegant black shoes flashed before his dark coat took all the attention as all eyes were on his shoulders or back before being drawn to his face.

“I am the assigned supervisor. Why are you still looking at my baby?” Heian Ciemnosc spoke as he walked to an old, slim man frowning at him. The old man wore what any civilian in a village would wear daily, pale green in color, and seemed unimportant among the masses. However, Heian Ciemnosc detected this old man as the Dantreulity realm 4th stage cultivator to shout just now. The only cultivator with that cultivation base in the Sect was the Sect Master.

“I see. Excuse for my lack of response. Please, follow me,” the old man blinked and jolted his neck backwards. 2 seconds later, he reacted and nodded, bowing his upper back ever-so-slightly. He kept the sweat, wanting to cover his temples and forehead in check, and walked back into the central building. Heian Ciemnosc said nothing and followed, ignoring the disciples looking at him, some with widened, furious eyes and others curiously.

Step, step- teep, step- teep, step- teep… Heian Ciemnosc entered the central building, found the old man waiting at an elevator, and boarded it together. After going up, his footsteps gained echo, and he felt the array formations around to keep things safe settle down after being checked hundreds of times within the elevator. The old man said nothing and guided Heian Ciemnosc towards a long hallway where humongous doors towered at its end. The hallway was obscured, with barely any light on the floor before the elevator’s doors.

As the elevator closed and went back down, the lights went off, and everything turned obscure. Heian Ciemnosc kept walking forward, but the old man’s back disappeared as the towering doors slightly opened, and he saw a figure walk into the room. Heian Ciemnosc was left alone to walk in the dark, but he found no obstacles standing before him. He kept walking until he arrived before the door and momentarily stopped.

Meanwhile, inside the room, after the old man entered, his arms flung around as if holding a jacket and putting it on. Clothes flashed from his Covert Space bag at his right waist, covering him in gold and purple robes, granting his appearance a majestic touch. When he stepped in, dozens of upper echelons and higher-ups were seated around the 5 most noteworthy seats, with one belonging to the Sect Master, the old man.

“Sect Master!” - “Sect Master, is the intruder really the assigned supervisor?” - “Sect Master! What must we do? We ought to quickly act!” - “Should we…” - “No, no, no… This is an important matter. Don’t be stupid just for some gain! Remember, we can’t rule more than a Region. What we’ll get afterwards are only promises! We must keep things as they are!” - “The situation has changed. If we don’t change, we won’t adapt. We will be left behind.”

“Enough.” The Sect Master spoke and walked to his chair, where the 4 other most influential Sect’s figures had already sat, respectfully bowing their heads before he took his seat in the middle, surrounded by the other 4 seats. Once he sat down, he continued. “I’ve seen who this assigned supervisor is. There is no need to fear. We can handle this. Grand Elder, immediately contact th-”

Baaaam! Baaaam! Pswuooooshhh~... thud thud thud thud… craackk~~~...

Amidst the Sect Master’s words, to which everyone in the room became fully focused, afraid to miss a single letter, the only towering doors leading to the room exploded from the outside to the inside, shocking the entire room a couple of seconds before it calmed down. The Sect Master was the most affected in the room, as he had the door before him, and the thought of death instantly invaded him when he saw the gigantic doors blasting inwards.

Debris and dust fell on the floor, cracking open and creating cobwebs here and there before subsiding. No one was injured, thankfully. However, before the Sect’s important roles could recompose, they heard echoing footsteps, whose echo wasn’t halted from the hallway now that there were no doors obstructing it. From the rubble littering behind the doors and the dust settling in, everyone saw a tall figure outlined, walking towards the hall’s center.

“... Oh~~, Sect Master!” Heian Ciemnosc exclaimed just as his pale hands showed while he made a sarcastically respectful gesture with not even half a bow. He continued as the dusty cloud avoided him as if it was too shy to keep hugging his space. “Why didn’t you tell me you were the Sect Master? We could’ve saved time on this long walk. I also don’t like being ogled at like that, you know?”

“A- assigned supervisor?” The Sect Master called out, hesitating. Heian Ciemnosc crossed his arms before his chest and nodded, “Mhm. I am that one.”

“Little black monster?!” - “It’s Heian Ciemnosc!” - “Aish… this crap… this crap!” The others in the hall reacted to the intruder, becoming pale as they read through his cultivation base. Only the Sect Master had the highest cultivation base at the Dantreulity realm 4th stage, while the second most powerful was at the peak of the 1st stage, and it was from the Grand Ancestor. Heian Ciemnosc nodded again, “Mhm. That’s me.”

“Now, Sect Master. Who were you going to contact? You know, just now?” Heian Ciemnosc looked around, responded to the people around him, and then turned his head to face the Sect Master again. As the old man heard Heian Ciemnosc’s words, he secretly gulped down, but his cultivation base began surging within him, recuperating his posture. “So this is the assigned supervisor in person and the Academy’s little black monster. It is a pleasure to meet you.”

“Sir Heian Ciemnosc, if you don’t mind, do you mind telling us why you have come here?”

“Oh! Mn,” Heian Ciemnosc exclaimed, his eyebrows jumping once before nodding again. He relaxed his arms and started looking around in the rubble for whatever he wanted. As he searched, he spoke to the Sect Master. “I was thinking of something according to my task. To spare you the bout of information… let me just explain it to you: I found irregularities.”

Heian Ciemnosc bent his back to pick something, seemingly finally finding his pick. As he did, he suddenly twisted his pale neck to look at the Sect Master with his darkest eyes after momentarily pausing his words. He stood back up, covering an item with his dark Neutral Energy, and dusted it off under their eyes before walking towards the Sect Master. At this moment, the 5 seats became nervous, ready to explode in Neutral Energy at a moment’s notice.

“Heh, you know… I haven’t shown myself since the Change Merit Trials. I couldn’t use any Neutral Energy back then… It’s been a long time, indeed.” Heian Ciemnosc looked around, contemplating as he talked. When his eyes returned to the 5 chairs, he revealed a little stone in his right palm, held by his fingers. It was ordinary and had no energy infused into it, not even Spirit Sense.

After analyzing it, the 5 seats looked at Heian Ciemnosc with a confused frown. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t waste any more time, and with a simple motion, he threw it backwards over his right shoulder. “It’s better if I don’t.”

Peeeew! Boom- crash, whoosh- peeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~eeeeeewww…!

The little stone flew backwards, immediately becoming blurry, and penetrated the several layers of array formations and walls that this central building consisted. It took less than a few seconds to escape it and soar into the skies until crashing against the Sect’s Grand Array Formation. However, anyone with long enough Spirit Sense could see an obvious mark 3 meters in diameter where the half-a-fist-sized stone hit. Furthermore, it wasn’t repairing itself.

Step. Heian Ciemnosc stepped forwards again, and this time, he looked calm with ultimately cold, darkest eyes. As he opened his mouth to speak, their Spirit Sense detected movement outside the central building, coming from Heian Ciemnosc’s Fighter. “I like this Sect. It has been doing well recently, and it wants to do better. I have a recommendation. Become vassals to the Blauw Empire. It will be temporary. You must also hide it from the world.”

“Mm, might as well,” Heian Ciemnosc stopped and looked pensive, clearly not presenting his idea as a suggestion. “Lately, I see myself getting too few Stones. I only have about 100,000 Inferior Neutral Stones. How about you gift me 2,000,000 Supreme Neutral Stones?”

“We can’t!!” The Sect Master stood from his chair and shouted. His face reddened, and his heart beat horrendously harshly after he sobered up, which was immediately after standing up. The Sect Master looked at Heian Ciemnosc, whose darkest eyes remained the same but became slightly more casual after standing up for his Sect and his storage. Heian Ciemnosc flashed a quick smile, not too friendly nor hostile, and crossed his arms before his shoulders. He took several steps forwards, relaxing them again, and lowered his gaze to look at the old man.

“W- we can’t… this is our Sect’s income. We will ruin our internal affairs if we a- a- agree to-” The Sect Master looked up. His neck shook, and his eyes trembled. But his tens of thousands of years of experience allowed him to keep a tiny portion of his sanity. The images of that stone breaking through everything with just the sheer bodily strength of the little black monster’s body… reanimated inside his head over and over again.

“No, you will.” Heian Ciemnosc semi-whispered. At that moment, outside the central building, his Ornament suddenly rushed forward before soaring into the skies. It flew so fast that the Sect’s upper echelons couldn’t even notice. By the time it had gone higher than the central building and started sending off dozens of missiles everywhere, they were barely looking outside the building, noticing something was happening.

“STOP IT! You can’t do th-” BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM…

Before the crazed Sect Master could finish his words, the missiles struck sections where hidden fighters and even a Frigate were stationed, waiting at any possible call from the Sect Master to attack. They didn’t know a gigantic Cruiser was 500 km away, already scanning everything tens of thousands of kilometers around its position for any movements. However, it didn’t seem necessary, as Heian Ciemnosc’s Ornament bombarded every spot this Sect had hidden spaceships ready to attack.

“!!!” The Spirit Sense of everyone in the hall watched as their Sect’s individual territory was bathed in tongues of flames soaring and spreading through their streets and mini-fortresses. All they could do was stand up and look into the void as if they had a window with the perfect view of their Sect’s individual territory. The other 4 chairs were the most tranquil, while the Sect Master seemed to want to cough blood anytime soon.

“Stop this… can’t you-” The Sect Master felt his head light, almost crying and bending his knees, but Heian Ciemnosc grabbed his collar and kept him in the air. Heian Ciemnosc looked down at the Sect Master’s eyes as one of the 4 chairs slowly stood up, thinking they weren’t under Heian Ciemnosc’s detection. Heian Ciemnosc calmly spoke, “What’s your choice?”

Cuuuh- punch-...

“Haah!” From the side, a sudden move was aimed at Heian Ciemnosc as a left punch directed towards his head. Heian Ciemnosc didn’t move and let it land on the right side of his face. As it landed, the Neutral Energy enhancing it from within and the outside seemed to puff away to the sides, not even making a ripple in the air while the entire hall turned silent. Heian Ciemnosc’s ultimately cold, darkest eyes darted towards the Grand Elder’s face, which slowly and shakily twisted into apprehension and pain.

Whoosh, rustle- splash~!

Heian Ciemnosc moved his right arm while his left hand kept holding the Sect Master’s collar. Heian Ciemnosc entangled his arm with the Grand Elder’s and pulled him. Immediately afterwards, Heian Ciemnosc retracted his right hand before lightly pushing a palm strike on the Grand Elder’s sternum, right below his collarbone. The Grand Elder’s body simply exploded. Blood stained everything except Heian Ciemnosc’s clothes and around his shoes. Bones stabbed the floor and ground as his skin formed a 40 meters long vacant piece of art between the wall behind the chairs and the floor around them.

Pshiiiift~! Boooom! Crack- whooosh, pshiiift! Boom, boom, boom! But that wasn’t all. After the Grand Elder’s body exploded and Heian Ciemnosc’s palm strike finished, dark Neutral Energy flashed from his palm as it flew towards the chair in the middle. It broke through it, rapidly landing on the wall, also cracking it open and penetrating into open air. Screams resounded from the outside. Every disciple had already become aware something was wrong.

When they saw the dark Neutral Energy bout streak in the air from the central building’s topmost floor and start exploding but keep advancing forwards, they became even crazier because the central building stumbled left and right rhythmically with the explosions of the dark Neutral Energy. Needless to say, the Sect’s most influential roles within the hall were growing scared like fucking shit.

“Sir… please!!” The Sect Master returned to his half-broken seat. He was almost powerless. The Grand Elder was annihilated along with the entire central building, stumbling left and right to this little black monster’s ‘mere’ strange Neutral Energy self-implosions. And it continued traveling forwards but affecting the central building. It could fall down any moment! The Sect Master had no other choice, so he replied positively.

“Alright, alright! Sir, assigned supervisor, the Sect has many gifts for you!” The Sect Master felt the central building tilting sideways left and right even more, still not stopping. He could fall off his chair and bounce from extreme to extreme at any moment. The Sect Master even felt his head dizzy. Thus, he added. “Actually, now that I think ab- about it… we, the Door’s Expiring Breath Sect, have always thought well of the Blauw Empire! Aaah! Please, Sir!”

“Oh. Go on~,” Heian Ciemnosc casually responded, dragging his words somewhat playfully. The Sect Master continued despite the central building inclining left and right. He started hysterically shouting, “Even though others have reached out to us- they are unworthy! Only the Blauw Empire is a good example! W- w- we will follow them, and your command, SIR ASSIGNED SUPERVISOR!!”

The Sect Master became absolutely terrified as he felt the entire central building sidestepping from its position and falling sideways. His heart was aching. This sole building costs half of what the entire individual territory in resources and manpower! However, when he declared to his heart’s content and out of primitive fear, the sensation stopped. Only then did he and the others realize there was a ginormous dark whip coiling the central building and Heian Ciemnosc’s Fighter carrying it, keeping it from falling off.

“Siup… huuu!” The Sect Master felt his head rushing with blood. The movement stopped, and although Heian Ciemnosc flashed an unsatisfied pout momentarily, the Sect Master’s brains were all on agreeing to this monster’s terms. He couldn’t even calculate the disciples’ casualties at the moment. Looking at Heian Ciemnosc, he wanted to say something but couldn’t find any word or even an exclamation.

“Heh,” Heian Ciemnosc grinned and patted the back of the old man’s head, bald and surrounded by white, gray hair. Heian Ciemnosc shoved the Sect Master with his dark Neutral Energy, accommodating his elongated clothes, and calmly said. “What are you waiting for? I’m here, waiting. Don’t make me impatient, you know?”

“Ah… yes…” The Sect Master imagined his fists clenching as he didn’t dare do that before the assigned supervisor, and he also couldn’t, hopeless to even sit straight. Heian Ciemnosc felt Soul fluctuations through the air and waited for 1 minute 50 seconds before a bloody Outer Disciple walked into the hall with 3 of his left-handed fingers gone, its bones showing and all.

“Sorry for the delay, Sir assigned Supervisor.” The Sect Master ruefully said. Heian Ciemnosc shook his head as the disciple brought a box large enough to fit 5 Sect Masters in and expressed his understanding. After all, his Spirit Sense caught several hundred servants that hadn’t evacuated yet flying around, becoming paste on the walls, left and right, until he used his Vocón Link to stop everything.

Clank, creak. The Sect Master took the box from the Outer Disciple’s hands and gestured it to piss the fuck off with a simple, brief nudge of his head. As the disciple left with a low, hunched back, Heian Ciemnosc looked at the Sect Master with his adorable, darkest eyes. The Sect Master became befuddled for several seconds from this sight before sobering up and opening the box in his hands. After doing so, he extended it upwards for Heian Ciemnosc to grab.

“These are part of the Sect’s treasury, but it’s most of what we currently have. The rest is for paying tribute to the Academy for our previous mistakes. I’m sure you aren’t willing to grab those?” The Sect Master spoke dully, losing most of his will to even breathe.

“Nah, it's fine. I’ll come back when I return from my mission. Who knows what’ll happen then, depending on my mood? Heheh. Don’t disappoint the Blauw Empire, alright? “ Heian Ciemnosc picked up 12 Inferior Covert Space bags, from which his Spirit Sense scanned 4,000,000 Supreme Neutral Stones. This Sect wasn’t so bad after all. They had principles!

“Siiigh…” The Sect Master seemed to lose thousands of years of lifespan while Heian Ciemnosc flew towards his Ornament above the central building, now hovering a few hundred meters above it. The hall turned silent. Some of their mouths were opened, and some of them were catatonic. They had… just been visited by a 20-21 year old young man who… turned their world upside down? Is this seriously what the expression for there always being someone stronger meant?!

“Start… preparations to repair… Right, contact those Servants’ families, pay them, too…” The Sect Master had a disgusted face as he spoke the latter half of his words. The hall looked at him weirdly but understood the reasons. However, one Elder felt like he had to ask. “Sect Master, shouldn’t we be contacting the Blu-”

“I’ve given my orders! Who are you to question?! Shut the fuck up! Do what I said! Fucking DIEE!”

Pshift- whoosh, bang!

The Sect Master swung his right arm at the Elder who spoke. Neutral Energy flashed above the Sect Master, which revealed a passing puppet with 16 arms but a tall Human body build, each hand holding a blade. It dashed through the air and attacked the Elder, turning his seat into an open space without any blood, organs, flesh, or clothes remaining. Not even rests from the chair were left, only some hair strands and teeth.

Bugsh!

Suddenly, the Grand Ancestor’s head exploded. Everyone looked at him, shocked to no end, only to find a tiny ordinary orange and yellow flame burning from within, slowly placating itself. As the Sect Master looked at it, noticing the Soul fluctuations, he trembled until he peed blood.
