Chapter 237 — Meeting

Meeting

"You will be far away from us for a long time," queen Olga grabbed the back of Ciemnosc's head with her right hand, her right shoulder up, and their bodies closed into each other. "We won't be reunited for a long time. Perhaps not until your war with the east is done. Perhaps way after you've become an Obsidiafying realm cultivator, Milord."

“But Milord, your people here now appreciate you and would welcome you anytime when the world is against you. As long as these natural array formations stand, we will go against the world sooner than necessary if it means conquering it too.” The tone of warmth was there, and not just Ciemnosc or those from the Nulla Kingdom nearby. All those who came here for Ciemnosc heard her words, as silence ensued.

“But you won’t leave with just my words and our hearts, no.” Queen Olga said as she closed in much more to Ciemnosc’s face. Under everyone’s eyes, she parted her lips, meeting his as they became a set of lips together, and she wasn’t just pecking him goodbye like one would to their lover or fallen kin as a goodbye. With her eyes closed, Ciemnosc’s eyes followed suit, and everyone behind her witnessed their queen’s intentions.

“Pchu…” Queen Olga separated her face from Ciemnosc’s. They were now silently being stared at by millions of pairs of eyes. It wasn’t a small matter. Whispering to his face, her deliciously smelling and tasty breath tried to make him stay. “Don’t come back until you have become the… my strongest man in this world and can hence be named… as my king.”

“...” Ciemnosc needed not to say anything. He looked at her as she left him as she took a few steps backwards. The crowd behind her and surrounding them were silent, but they were somehow cheerful at the same time. And when it came to Ciemnosc relaying words or an intention to her, he was already doing so with his eyes as hers were cajoled in them.

‘Farewell, my love.’

Queen Olga watched him leave as a mighty Cloudless Eagle came out of nowhere, and Ciemnosc mounted on it. His back was shown to them as he wore the humbled-styled but mighty fine clothes he made on his own. He departed very quickly, the bird was just as excellent as it could be, and it rapidly left their eyes as it went far. Far away from their Beast Race’s colony of domes, natural array formations.

Step step step step step.

About 10 minutes later. The plethora of beasts moved back to their daily lives. There were to be ‘vacations’ globally within all Beast Race organizations for the rest of the week, and things, such as taxes or tribute, were exempted for a month. It was a little something that was just unnecessary. But it worked more as a symbol that brought the hearts of those who watched Ciemnosc leave properly and feel like they bid him farewell.

“Torme…” Queen Opala spoke after most left, with some from the Nulla Kingdom’s upper echelons still around, specifically fair ladies. Torme stepped forth and stood shoulder to shoulder with her queen. “Yes, my queen?”

“Do you, perhaps, think you would be a good wife to him?” Queen Opala didn’t have an expression to speak of as she said this. Torme was instead feeling curious and began pondering on that very same question. After a bit, she looked at her queen and said, her head turned to the right to look at her queen. “Sigh, queen. I don’t believe I’m good for him. I’m nowhere near what he should be having. I’m just not worthy.”

“...” Queen Opala lowered her head, her mind full of thoughts suddenly initiated tormenting her. It was right at that moment when Torme added, her voice turning lighter, definitely not like that of a subject speaking to her queen, “Make no mistake, my queen. As soon as I hear he can be fucked even after marrying you, I’ll give him a hundred babies!”

“Sigh, I see. That is good. His seed is bound to be able to create more little monsters. In the future, such things will be needed. First Ancestor’s views had been truly broadened since back then.” Queen Olga said, taking Torme’s hand into her own and sandwiching her before starting to go on a walk with her.

“My queen, are you not jealous? He touched and conquered many hearts of our family. It is… a lot, eh.” Torme added as well. Though she was very curious indeed about knowing the answer, she only slightly pushed and didn’t act overly girly.

“Mn, I’m not. They are not marrying him. I am.”

Torme was left speechless at the shamelessness. But she acted coy as she began swinging queen Olga’s hands and arms. “Oh come, on, queeeeeen~! At least let me hook up with him. I promise I won’t touch his children. They will grow as big and… big as him when they grow up, but I’m no pervert! I’ll treat them as my nephews and nieces! Hehe.”

“Alright, alright. I’ll consider letting you become a little dumb, hungry lady for my king in the future. But first… I have to deal with the most pressing matter at the time.” Queen Olga’s eyes became solemn, her aura solid and cold. Torme looked at her queen. Admiration was present in her eyes, and love. Family bonds were, for some reason, the rarest within the cultivation world. If anything, that was truly the only resemblance between ordinary living beings in power and them.

“Yes, my queen,” Torme responded, bowing and letting queen Olga walk in the direction of the palace. It was to be the most critical moment of the entire Beast Race since the creation of such within this world.

***

A few hundred kilometers away from the Rocaloi Academy. On top of heavy layers of snow, almost making an entire 3 meters worth of piled-up snow.

“How is the investigation going?” From atop the layers of snow, one of the many floating figures asked into the air. From behind the owner of that voice. Which was the sect master of the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect, another person floating atop the snow responded. “Yes, sect master! There was indeed something strange going on. But the Craftspeople are working on it to discover where exactly is it hidden and how to counter it.”

“How long will it take before we get rid of that kid’s spying?” The sect master asked. His face was serious and somewhat strenuous as he looked at the grand array activated from afr.

“Tha-... it will… take some more time, sect master.” After the other Obsidaifying realm cultivator said this, silence followed suit, contaminating their group of a few tens of floating figures. After such silence went on and on for a few seconds, the cultivator spoke again, this time worried, “Respected sect master, is it alright for us to talk like this so close to that barrier?”

“.. Yes, it doesn’t matter.” The sect master said. His face was so serious and confident that it candidly gave those behind him a sense of security. With his eyes looking into the slightly remote hidden academy behind its array formation, they became shiner and trembled in excitement. Turning to look back at his group, he pressed on his half-a-step into the ‘next cultivation realm’ cultivation base and declared, “We move! Do not be late for any reason!!”

Whoooosh…

The group of tens of people began moving then, floating forwards and with their general direction being that of the academy. What only the west didn’t know was that, in the east, snow was beginning to melt quickly.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

Following behind sect master Holoriu was ‘everyone’. Pastor Noles, preacher Doney, shaman Clene, clergy Ruspu and some Enforcers of the Moribund Yearning Cult. Grand ancestor Marchelo, grand elder Kenia and ancestor Karen from the Eagerburning Flames Sect.

. . .

A few days later, once Ciemnosc had been traveling from the Beast Race’s colony of domes to the Rocaloi Academy, all in the west but very close together. Now both physically and on paper.

From afar, the ‘academy’s’ grand array took in the sight of a large eagle flying from so far away towards them. At that moment, several dozen cannons installed at the new, unnecessary, walls surrounding the academy grounds within the grand array moved at once and altogether. Aiming at the incoming large eagle, showing a strength that was practically impossible to see nowadays, they only went back to rest after its rider was identified by the grand array’s impeccable utilities. Even as the eagle was thousands of kilometers away from the grand array.

With time, it came closer to the point that the rider of that eagle was visible even to those guarding the walls around the academy grounds. And once he made his appearance, Ciemnosc came down to the grand array’s entrance and went right through it on his feet, already having stored the Cloudless Eagle back to his Covert Space bags as soon as he landed.

When the guards, students, and the like of the academy watched Ciemnosc come into their academy, they were stunned but also unusually unresponsive. Without a word, Ciemnosc went through the procedures of getting into the academy. People looked at him in silence, showing frowning expressions. Some had varying emotions but were all frowning. Yet, as he passed through some who were walking and such, they still remained respectful to him.

Walking through the streets, Ciemnosc analyzed every little thing. The academy had already made a deal with the Beast Race. While there wasn’t a declaration of war from the Beast Race to the eastern forces, they would aid the academy if the west was in real peril.

In the beginning, the academy didn’t want to just have this kind of ‘just in case’ help. But, of course, it changed as they changed their Chief in Command. As it was since then that the frontline between both forces, the east, and the west, had been fighting and were now losing. Thus, the academy could only have this kind of help from the Beast Race ‘directly’.

On the other hand, the Beast Race would not join in any way the eastern forces and would remain a friend to the academy instead for the sake of the west. Trade had already commenced between the beasts and the humans from the Rocaloi Academy, so there was already some mutual strengthening going on.

However, as Ciemnosc went through the academy ground’s streets. There was a whole different matter happening within the academy itself as it was so… changed and different from before. So much more.

The streets seemed gloomy. They conserved their gold and blue. But these new streets were as if… barricaded, strengthened for resistance, and simply for obvious purposes that did not have anything to do with the academy’s… old beliefs.

It even seemed as if it was raining day. There was some water or liquid of sorts all around the streets. Like a plague or like rats in an ordinary city, those puddles of water sometimes made little rivers and huge seas for ants. Seeing all of that, Ciemnosc simply went on his way and ignored anyone else’s glances and frowns while his face had none of it.

… Eventually, he reached his ‘home’, the bedroom where his teammates were already waiting for him. Without waiting for them to say much, he just took a step forth and immediately dashed in their direction, pushing Gallah away first and then hugging the girls right away.

“Ciemno-! Oh… oh~...” - “Ciemnosc…” - “Welcome back, Little Ciemnosc.” Leen was just shouting when she felt her body grabbed at and tightened into a girls only - with Ciemnosc - hug group, then Fatima and then Missa, as they also felt their bodies being horribly molested all around, too. Nevertheless, they allowed his hands to squeeze and hug anything he wanted while their mouths entangled like pigs eating together.

“Mfh, I’m back at last.” Ciemnosc said once he was let go of the wolves, no, of the pigs who left his slightly pale, red lips becoming negligibly pinkier. Without letting them say much in response, and simply as they looked up at him and leaned over his body, as if he was some sort of alpha male, he added while patting their butts over their clothes. “But you now need to go to the base right away and make no delay. I will attend t something, then meet you at the exit.”

“Hmm, okay,” Missa was at the center leaning on his chest as she let her body’s weight on him. But he was, as always, too physically strong for something like that to move him. Saying such, the other girls stood up decently and placed their hands on Ciemnosc’s shoulders before going inside their bedroom to pick up their stuff. It didn’t seem as if they were returning any time soon; such were their thoughts.

“Ciemnosc, good to have you again.” Gallah had already stood up from flying away a little and walked back to their garden. He placed both hands of his on Ciemnosc’s left shoulder and said with a grin, Ciemnosc looked back at the only other male to enjoy those 3 devils’ misconducts and nodded slightly, making Gallah’s grin wider before he also went for his things.

“...” Knowing they could begin moving away safely, Ciemnosc turned around just in time to see a person fly from the sky and below to deliver Ciemnosc a letter. There was a letter in this old person’s hands, indeed, but he remained up in the air and just looked down at Ciemnosc as some time passed with this ‘face-off’ developing into unknown.

The old man who arrived was recognized by Ciemnosc to be one of the neutral parties of the academy. They were just whatever and never said a word to Ciemnosc or to those others who spoke ill of him. Now however, one of them had come and even delivered a letter. However, once again. This old man had the intention to remain hidden. Ge floated around after already arriving and even wanted to stay and watch when Ciemnosc was reuniting with his teammates again.

Were it not for the sudden sense of dread that dwelled within the deepest, unknown, corners of himself at some point, and right before Ciemnosc’s Spirit Sense was ‘suddenly found’ by him; the old man would’ve been staring at Ciemnosc doing his thingies with his teammates.

“...” A bit of time had passed already, but Ciemnosc refused to talk. At some point, the old man finally could no more, so he spoke with an unwilling tone and hoarse voice. “You Ciemnosc have been ordered to come to the Grand Lecture Hall, a meeting for a temporary peace with our enemies is now undergoing and you are to be there too. If-”

“I’ll go, come here, get down, give me that letter and leave.” Ciemnosc spat out indifferently and flatly. The old man felt incensed at once. His eyebrows jumped, and what little hair he had remaining on top of his head was being surrounded by the reddening of the rest of his bald head’s skin.

“Do not think of disr-” The old man pointed at Ciemnosc, went higher than he already was and hid the letter in his Covert Space bag. But before he could even start speaking full words, Ciemnosc barked a shout and the old man only saw darkness all around him. “Silence!”

Thud.

The old man was barely able to wake up when he fell on his knees, his feet tripping over the ground as it directly came down like the string pulling him into the sky had been cut off. Yet, all the old man cared about was not the letter that was just snatched from his hands but the fact that Ciemnosc had done something to him!

‘How is this possible?! I am an Obsidiafiyin realm expert! In the 7th stage! What did he do to me? This kid, this… what did he do tome?!’

“You can leave now,” Ciemnosc said flatly and as indifferent as he always is to most other people other than his people. The old man was so terrified that he could not move, however. As he looked at Ciemnosc, he stood up slowly, pain in his legs and… ‘something’ very deep inside him that he had never felt before.

“I-! Yo-... ?!” Before the old man could gather any reason to speak to Ciemnosc about how an elder should reprimand and discipline the younger generation, the old man’s face changed and he immediately stood up straight. Within his body, just as he was contemplating in terror the sensation of ‘that something’ within him, he felt as if a new breakthrough was about to be achieved just now.

“Y- yo- you will pay for this!” The old man said before taking his eave, soaring into the air with his arms swinging left and right and his legs also swayed, but with less intensity. Meanwhile, Ciemnosc looked up at the departing old man who was hurrying over to the peak of the mountain. He could tell that the old man would rather go into seclusion right now in order to breakthrough, but had decided to inform the rest of how he was capable of disabling an Obsidafying realm cultivator in the later stages.

“Mn, no, not right now boy. We can escape with your help, don’t be restless.” Hearing cries from his Covert Space bags, Ciemnoscslowly started walking to the mountain of the Rocalio Academy. His footsteps were solid and slow, his shoulders moved almost like a predator navigating through any known and unknown territory. Prey was at his hands and was also trying to gather together to go against him.

He wasn’t sure of the happenings all around the academy, nor the reason behind the change in the attitude of the academy’s staff towards him. But the him of right now; to Ciemnosc… they just couldn’t do anything to him. If anything, they could start remembering who Ciemnosc was, is, and will be.
