Due to the nature of the wood from the tree it can hold a large amount of mana. Luckily, I have been filling it as I worked on the ship otherwise it would take days to fill. First off are all the enchantments to strengthen the hull and make it able to repair itself.
These are relatively easy, just time consuming because they cover a large area. Once they are all done it is time for dinner, but I just eat a quick meal before continuing. The next enchant is fire immunity, which is important since the ship is made of wood.
While I am at it I also add fire immunity to the sails, which I forgot to do originally. Unfortunately, I can't exactly add my blood to the entire ship, so I have to do it the normal way. Even once that is done I have barely used up about fifteen percent of the available mana.
Next I start working on the enchantment to allow the hull to slice through the water. Since this is a water based spell that I am less proficient with it takes a lot longer. By the time it is done, since I am almost out of mana, I decide to take a break.
I sit down to meditate on the ship and while my mana is recovering I open a soulscape. Once inside the soulscape I summon all of my kids and play with them until my mana is fully recovered. Then I end the soulscape and go back to working on the ship's enchantments.
The next enchant I want to work on is for the rudder, to improve the turning rate of the ship. However, it isn't the same as for the hull, slicing through the water wouldn't improve the turning. Instead I need to make an enchantment that makes the rudder more effective.
The rudder turns the ship by directing the force of passing water, so I need to enhance that effect. Increasing the force on the surrounding water isn't that hard, the hard part is the trigger. I want the force to increase only when the rudder turns, otherwise it will negatively affect the ship.
It is easier to set up than command words, it just takes me some time to figure it out. As I am working on the enchantments I have a crazy idea, to turn the ship into an airship. However, after thinking through various ways I could do it, I realize I am missing materials.
While I am no expert, I understand gravity enough to make an enchantment to lighten the ship. What I am missing is a means of propulsion and lift, but my ideas for that would require some special materials. Something along the lines of air stones, or something else that produces wind.
If I can find those kinds of special materials I can always modify the ship later. It is something I will keep an eye out for, because having an airship would be awesome! I could do it through enchantments, but it would only work when provided power by someone.

The power consumption would be huge, so much that I could only power it for an hour or two. While it might be useful in some situations, I don't think it is worth it currently. It would take a lot of enchanting, which means there would be less room for other enchantments.
For now, it will remain as just an idea, but I will do some research on suitable materials. Maybe, if I get lucky, I will find something I can use during our voyage. Oh, if I can get just a tiny sample I could make more using the Origin Energy!
I would have to go back to the island to get more, but for an airship it would be worth it! That is definitely something to keep in mind, but for now I should just get back to work. In the end, I work throughout the rest of the night in order to finish enchanting the ship.
When the sun comes up I am just finishing enchanting a dozen barrels to be everfull. They just produce normal water, but fresh water on a ship is pretty important. Despite thinking about it on and off all night, I haven't come up with a name for the ship yet.
My nerdy side wants to call her Enterprise, but I know that isn't the right name for her. She is a big ship, but she is sleek and when I am done with her she will be fast. She will be the absolute queen of the seas, so I think I am going to name her Queen.
I don't have any paint or anything, but I use mana to put her new name on the hull. As I am doing it an idea occurs to me, so I enchant the name so whoever sees it will see it in their own language. Now the ship is starting to feel complete, there are just a few minor details left.
(In Elven) "Lynara, spirit of wind, Slispera, spirit of water, I summon you!"
Lynara says "Hello, Ash. It has been a while!"
Slispera says "A purple ship? This is something I have never seen before! It's cute!"
Lynara says "This is the ship you have built to save the elves?"
"Yes, this is the ship. I have just finished the enchantments."
Lynara says "So, you want us to bless it?"
"Yes please!"
Slispera says "That is easy!"
Lynara says "Alright, but I have a condition."
"What condition?"
Lynara says "I want to hear the story behind this new look of yours!"
"Alright."
Lynara and Slispera listen intently as I tell the story of finding the red gem and being eaten by it. I do my best to keep the story short and to the point since keeping them here is costing me mana. Other than laughing, the two don't interrupt me so I am able to finish the story in under an hour.
Slispera says "I have never heard of anything like this fire gem."
Lynara says "Neither have I. My only suggestion would be to maybe summon Fereesh and let him take a look at it."
"I will think about it. For now I am almost out of mana."
Lynara says "Oh, right. Then we should do the blessings!"
The two of them quickly get to work, Slispera jumps into the water and Lynara heads to the sails. Lynara flies up and circles around the two sets of sails as she blesses them. I can't see Slispera in the water but I assume she is swimming back and forth to bless the hull.
Once they are done they say a quick goodbye and leave, which is good since I am out of mana. After they are gone I fly back to the shore and have breakfast with Nala and Albion. Then I meditate to restore my mana, when I finish I find Stillwater and Silverstream waiting for me.
"Hey, what's up?"
Stillwater says "We just got back from taking a look at the ship."
Silverstream says "While it is amazing, we have a couple of concerns."
"What kind of concerns?"
